Pricey but well worth it. The service, quality of products, the space are all top notch. Jessica especially is extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

Walking in to get a pregnancy facial with my skin all flared up was so embarrassing. Not to mention all of my allergies to random product ingredients. Jessica made me feel comfortable, beautiful, and safe. 30 seconds after walking in to Jessicas Apothecary and Spa, I felt like I was home. My worries melted away as she clearly knew what she was doing. Shes the best esthetician Ive ever worked with and Im so lucky to have found this hidden gem in Ann Arbor!

The entire experience is a soothing journey. From walking into such a serene setting, removing shoes gives a feeling of leaving outside (worries/stresses/cares) outside. The complementary beverage (in my case hot soothing tea) further helps to breathe in healing and breathe out toxins:). I truly enjoyed it and Im looking forward to my next appointment. Jessica was amazing! She handled my wax with care and everything about her business felt safe - they were taking the utmost precautions when it comes to COVID. My wax experience was the best Ive ever had and I will certainly be going back regularly.

Great service, and I really appreciate how cautious they are being with the pandemic. I had ordered my usual face wash and they hand delivered it to my car. After coming here for a facial a year ago, Michelle gave me some tips and products to use from the Eminence line and my face has stayed clear. I had been going to doctors for years to find something that would work with my skin.

Tiffany did an amazing job on my facial. I have very sensitive combination skin and my face felt great during the entire facial. They use great products that are delicate on your skin. She did a great job extracting and always told me what to expect after each application of the different products. Also, she is very knowledgeable and provides a lot of good advice. Great customer service- everyone was friendly- the waxing was fast and easy- clean and relaxing environment! This was my first waxing experience and I was pleasantly surprised. Waxing means less singly-use plastic, so it also feels good to make a more environmentally friendly choice!

I went in to get my problematic skin addressed. After seeing Matthew for one and a half years, I feel more confident with my skin than ever. Jessicas use high quality products, and my esthetician, Matthew, is very professional and extremely patient. He takes detailed notes of my skin concerns/conditions at every visit and helps me to develop an effective skincare regimen. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Jessica and Michelle both did a wonderful job. They were professional and I was confident in their work. All employees were friendly. Michelle was absolutely delightful to talk to! I will be requesting her by name when I return for future services. Overall clean facility and very relaxing. Prices are very fair as well.

Michelle is the best. Calming and relaxing environment. I get a derma sound facial once a month and my skin has dramatically improved the last several months. I wish I started getting facials and coming here a long time ago. Michelle always offers samples before I purchase, and I always end up purchasing.

Staff was friendly and helpful as always, my esthetician provided great service, the added health and safety measures made me feel safe and comfortable. This is the only place I like going for waxing!

Matthew knows his way around skin. I first went to him last spring when I was having a lot of redness in my skin. Matthew spent a good portion of my appointment educating me about my skin and about the products he was using to help decrease the inflammation I was experiencing. My skin looked better that day and continued to improve with the products he recommended. Hes a great conversationalist, it suited me because I like to know whats happening when my eyes are closed and I enjoy the aromatherapy they provide as part of the service and in the natural organic products they apply.Ive had 5 facials now with Matthew, theyve all been fantastic and relaxing, which is important to me when I pay for self care. I appreciate that hes always very respectful when he touches me and incredibly gentle. I have had a few services with different estheticians but hes by far my favorite. He usually sends me home with a sample or two and always gives me a small piece of chocolate to enjoy, overall, great experiences. I encourage you to book your next appointment with him.

I was VERY pregnant when i saw Dasha for my Brazilian wax and she was amazing! so fast and so professional helped so much especially with the stage i was in and feeling uncomfortable as is being pregnant. she made the experience that much better. appointment was a breeze! highly recommend!

I came in for a Brazilian and initially left unsatisfied (patches of hair were still left, the appointment took a long time, and the aesthetician was unfamiliar using only hard wax.) However, after hearing about my dissatisfaction, Jessica, the owner of the salon, reached out to assure me that they were reviewing the situation thoroughly, and also offered me a complimentary service. I greatly appreciated that Jessica took the time to fully understand my concerns. From this experience its clear that this is the kind of salon that values the whole client. I will definitely return when I am back in Ann Arbor.

Tiffany (teen acne session) was kind, really connected with my daughter, and clearly explained what to do next. She also was very gentle with her extractions. We look forward to the next visit.

Immediate results. Jessica really listened to my concerns and incorporated some treatments in that dealt with those specific issues. I could see my skin tone even out immediately. I know its a process but this was the largest affirmation that facials can be a solution!

Great waxing and facials. I especially love the Dermasound facials. All the estheticians are wonderful. Not only do they provide expert services, but they are so lovely to be around. I see Tiffany for most of my services and she is the absolute best. Receptionists are always cheerful, and greet me personally every time I come in.

To say this place is the best would be an understatement! I will only go there! I was walked through the whole process and felt incredibly comforted.

This place is really nice... I have in grown hair problem in the nether regions and my doctor recommended going for waxing instead of shaving ....now I cant speak the same experience for others but it was a bit painful may be because this was my first time and im a guy. although the session started very cool without any rush and they took their time to do the job very well, towards the end I felt rushed im assuming they had other appointments to take care of and therefore missed a few spots here and there which is okay but annoying knowing there is still some hair untouched. since this is my first time I have no clue how it is done or which way so if i will have the chance to go back Ill probably still go to save the embarrassment of being naked naked in front of somebody for another hour. I only wish they do take care of their customers without any rush in the end. Im still giving it 4 stars as I dont know anything about waxing so i will probably update this post sooner after another visit and if it is going to be the same like last time you can expect a drop in the rating.
