NEW MANAGEMENT. I’ve been coming here for a few months now and I’ve always had great experiences. I just had my first experience with the new management and teddy did and amazing job on my Halloween nails. I can’t wait for Christmas/winter nails 😊

The staff was great. Very quick and did a great job. However my toe nails didn’t seem to dry correctly and the polish has already chipped off not even 3 hours after having my nails done. I’ve never experienced this with a pedicure before.

I waited an hour for a pedicure but I’m not mad about that. The pedicure was mediocre but I’m not mad about that. My daughter (9 years old) got a manicure and the older lady hit her because she was not still. I had my back to them because I was at the dryer. I happened to look up and my daughter looked a little scared so I walked over and asked was she okay. She said she was and the lady never made eye contact with me. I stood there because something didn’t seem right. She finished and my daughter loved her nails and I tipped the lady $10. When I get in the car and pull off my daughter starts crying and tells me the lady popped her hand and fussed at her. She didn’t say anything because her “nails were pretty and I didn’t want her to be mad at me”. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

I always get my nails done here! Ive heard mixed reviews, but those are always from people who want some BUCK WILD nails with no reference haha. I always get my nails LONG and BLACK and they always do a perfect job. Ask for Frank!

Wish I could give 0 stars!! Had my Bachelorette party today and they surprised me with getting my nails done here.. never had any problems here before so I was excited! Came in and the girl never asked what shape nails I wanted and just gave me square nails. WAYY OVERPRICED for the quality. My mom had the girl with the WORST attitude. I know everyone has bad days but it was TERRIBLE. she literally came over to do my moms pedicure and said what do you want and dropped her tools on the cart and was rolling her eyes and chewing her gum obnoxiously loud. One of my bridesmaids waited 45 minutes sitting in a chair to get her nails done after getting her toes done and instead of making sure our RESERVATION that we made a month ago was finished they kept taking walk ins to the point she just got up and said she had to go. 4 people got acrylics and pedicures and the price ranged from 90-130 . Will never come back. And then the older gentleman was arguing with my mother in law.

I am a perfectionist and always ask for little things as I go, they listened and followed my requests perfectly!! Highly recommend!

Great service and pricing - a little bit of a wait even though I made an appointment for 6:00 PM and my shellac manicure did not start until 6:40 PM but well worth it. Another customer sitting next to me was getting full stiletto acrylics and after having both sets of nails painted and French tip bordered and changed her mind and wanted all polish removed and re-done and the technician did it without complaining or charging her extra. Would definitely recommend.

Got in on short notice. Staff was efficient but did a good job. Very thankful for people who had to wait because it was busy.

This salon has very rude staff. I needed 20 minutes to get my acrylics off, but was condescendingly ignored. A manicurist lied right to my face about the salon closing at 7pm, just so she could finish her day early. I knew for a fact that it closed at 7:30pm, because I checked their website twice, and saw the schedule on their front door. No other workers chimed in to tell her that she was wrong. I mentioned the time that I saw on online and the front door, and she just blew me off. Never going back.

I made an appointment online and the website said it was 35 dollars for a full set. Normally they will clean your nails first, or at least wash your hands, he did none of that. He was rough with my hands and cut me with the nail equipment. When I went to pay, he charged me 60 dollars!!! I will not return.

I scheduled an appointment online for 2:30, got there a few minutes early. Stood awkwardly at the front desk until they told me I could pick a chair for my pedicure. And then I sat there until 2:55 and no worker came by at all and seemed to be avoiding eye contact. What’s the point of scheduling an appointment if the service is not going to be done at that time? 25mins later still no word from an employee? And they don’t accept walkins right now, so I would expect them to be timely but that was not the case. I stood up and walked out.

Made an appointment online for 4:40p, got there a few mins early, told the Vicki I made an online appointment and she told me, yeah, yeah just sit... so I wait. No problem. And I wait... still no problem...30min past scheduled appointment (no one addressed it)... still I waited 45mins...50mins...an hours past my scheduled appointment, finally a woman approached me, asked is I needed fill, I said, showed her a few designs, pick one they could do, and was then seated at a booth...again I wait...nearly 15 mins later(only because I come here regularly and think they do good work, did I stay). Some others gave up and walked out. Finally after, many distraction, my nails were done. Have to say well done. See you next time. Just need more help at busy time.

Used to come here as a student at Umich and still come back whenever I’m in town. They’re always super nice, clean, and great quality! Plus you can book online which most nail salons I’ve seen do not offer.

I went to go get an acrylic set. And I could honestly not be more dissatisfied. I waited about an hour to get service and when I finally did get service I got a technician that had no communication with me did my nails really thick and was just rushing. I honestly do not like to complain but I would never return. I was also charged more than what it cost to get acrylics.

I don’t even know why they take appointments. You get there and wait a half hour plus. It’s really disrespectful to people’s time.

A few weeks ago I scheduled an appointment online and showed up early. Ended up waiting for 45 minutes past my appointment time as other clients were being accepted for “walk-ins”.I have a 6 month old baby so my time away from him is rare and limited...and my fiancé was driving him around until my nails were finished.Long story short I had to leave without my nails being done because I ran out of time. Very disappointed. What is the point of having an appointment if you still have to wait?

I might look for somewhere else to go. The lady that worked on my mani pedi, she cut my toenails and hurt me and as for my nails she didnt push the cuticles back.

They are short on employees, so the wait was a little longer. But it was worth the wait.

I had a great experience at Diva! My nails look fabulous!

Acrylic application was lumpy. Color was not opaque at all and the owner was rude to a girl even though he was the one that messed up her nails.

I got a pedicure today and I asked the man doing it twice for callus removal and he just shrugged his shoulders at me. He was just trying to rush me because it was the end of the day and he had another person waiting. I will not be coming back.

Frank did an amazing job. I work 12hr shifts at St Joes and even though it was late, I had broken a nail off and the rest were tentative, he fixed and filled and painted my nails. After multiple shifts at the hospitalI didn’t know who to turn to. Thanks for doing all you do. You are truly special.

First, I had an appointment, and wasnt seated until 20 mins after my appointment time. I had gel polish that needed to be removed, and the nail tech put the tin foil and acetone on my nails, and then went to do a full pedicure on someone else. I had acetone on my nails for 35 minutes before I had to ask someone else to remove it, to which she said no. Finally the manager came and took it off. My nails are now extremely brittle, and they are peeling off in layers. Total waste of time and money, and now my nails are ruined.

I moved and found a gift certificate that was expired. Before throwing it away, I called and talked to a gentleman who asked for expiration date, I answered, and he said Come in, thats fine, we will honor it. I came in the next day and treated a friend and myself to pedicures. Upon time of payment, they would not accept gift certificate. I told my nail tech about the conversation and when she went to the gentleman I spoke to, he denied it and refused to honor it. Felt bad for the nail tech as he talked through her instead of me directly. I wish he would have just been honest from the start instead of having me come in, get a service, and then deny what he said for the sake of $50.Edit: Both our nail techs were wonderful! Just poor customer service by all I can assume is management/ownership.

RUN AWAY BEFORE ITS TO LATE!!!!!!! Worst mani pedi experience I’ve ever had in my life. The girl I had was rude and was obviously talking about me the whole time I was there. I bled 4/5 times when getting my cuticles taken off and my nail polish is sooo unevenly coated and not applied entirely. (I paid extra for the better kind too) I added a couple photos with pics of a couple of my toes and a finger just to show a little bit of how bad everything is. One of my toes isn’t even halfway painted. Everyone in this business was rude and hostile. They demanded I pay halfway through. I know now it was because she was doing such a horrible job that they knew I would’ve asked for a discount or something. This barely even scratched the surface of how horrible this place is. So when everything was done and I was drying my nails, I was there for almost 40 minutes waiting for someone to tell me they were done. My girl never came back to see me even though I saw her in the back looking at me. I eventually just ended up just getting up and just walking out. I will never ever return and you shouldn’t go either. One last thing y’all, wbu don’t you do a little research on the reviews for this place and look at how the owner responds to the 1 star reviews(and most of them are about how mean she is). The owner barely apologizes, is she does at all, and doesn’t even say anything about any of the information given in the review. Something is very very off about this place. STAY AWAY

Came in for a little self pampering after my boyfriend and I broke up. Was going to get black on but my fullest and my toes but my wonderful tech recommended that I do bright and maybe an ombre so I left with beautiful sparkly gold toes and light green and gold ombré nails with wonderful accents. The techs were all super friendly talking and making jokes. Definitely what I needed today. Will be coming back.

For over 5 years or more this was the only place I would go to get my nails done. They use to be the best in town! However, anymore the service is hit and miss at best. Today was pretty much my last time.It took me 2 hours to get a shellac pedicure with a horrible design that was smeared before I even got to my car. Never got to the manicure because there wasnt enough time before I had to leave for a meeting. Get to start over tomorrow. I allowed myself over 3 hours to accomplish this task and went during a time period that is never busy (it wasnt). Not a happy customer. Time to move on.

Nice place, Vickie did my nails charged $85 . I’m not happy, she had the audacity to tell me my nails were too wide and that’s the reason she didn’t fill with acrylic to make nails to my natural nail line, my fault! I think not! You don’t treat customers like that. I won’t be seeing her again! Over priced!

I have been going to this location for about 6 years for shellac manicures. I can see how some customers might be turned off by how they run the salon. They casually greet you and ask what you are here to have done, and can sometimes be difficult to understand. I personally appreciate the fact that they are strictly business and get you seated and serviced quickly. The quality of their work has always been consistent and better than other salons Ive been to, which is what keeps me coming back. After they get to know you they dont even ask what youre there for, they just get you seated and get started! I love it!

This nail salon was recommended to me by several people. I am new to the area and needed a pedicure ( which is a special treat for me). The man who did my pedicure barley loomed at me- I could have not been there at all. And this was the shortest lasting pedicure I have ever received -2 weeks tops. I wont be coming back

Horrible customer service. I use to come here all the time but stopped after several bad experiences. The last one was the icing on the cake I got a shellac manicure and it looked like my nails still needed to be done when she was done because she left a huge gap between my cuticles and whatever the polish started. When I pointed it out to the owner she told me I had to tell her when she started. Tell her what? How to paint nails? 3 days later 4 of the nails peeled, instead of offering to redo them all they fixed them and had the same girl that messed them up do them again, needless to say they still look horrible. Im done. Plenty of nail salons around to go to. Customer service should be top priority and this place has no clue what customer service is.

The owner is great, entire staff is welcoming. It’s always very busy when I come in but somehow they seem to attend to every customer. It’s a 45+ minute drive for me, but it’s so hard to find a nail shop that is clean and does a good job so to me making the trip to Diva Nails is worth it!

My mother and I have been coming here for years. We have never had a problem with the nail techs not being polite or rude. This salon is the only place where shellac actually lasts.The only thing I will say is that sometimes when they are really busy, they go a bit fast. Their work is always done nicely, but its not as relaxing an experience as it could and usually is.

I havent yet to be disappointed. I dont think I will ever go get my nelse done anywhere else. I rudely forgot to ask his name but he does my nails every time and they are perfect every time. Ive never had to wait long. They are quick clean and efficient. LOVE! Probably going to become a long time regular.

For my first pedicure, it wonderful. I had so much dead skin,toe crud, gritty sole,crack heal, that my feet ripped threw socks. So coworker recommended this place. I was a walk in… I had to wait 30 minutes, but it was worth the wait. Vicky took good care of me I was nervous. Now my feet are smooth. I now know how carpet feels… definite once a month

One of the best nail salons Ive ever been to. I have acrylics. This is the place I first got them done and Ive gotten fills here when Im in town. Hands down one of the best places ever.

What a fantastic experience! The room itself is gorgeous, and the staff are friendly and willing to listen and answer questions. I called 10 minutes before I got there and I was able to start as soon as I came in and picked my polish and lotion. My pedicurist massaged me with his hands and with hot rocks, pummiced my feet, took care of dead skin around my nails, and was overall very pleasant. I would definitely go back, and make sure that you ask for the student price if you qualify.

Rude staff just trys to push you through the process. Dont provide manicure with full set acrylics. My first time asking for full set service so maybe Im new but I was expecting it to look clean when I was done.... The guy didnt even clip my nails or clean under the acrylic from filing before painting, so nail dust and dirt were left. The nails ended up being longer than I wanted, and when I pointed this out to him and asked him to clean them up a little/paint the edge, he said he wouldnt do it because no one ever asks for that. I then asked him to file them a little shorter and he wouldnt. Whatever, was done with him, went to the manager lady and she didnt care either. No one cares about doing a good job there. Suffice to say, in 3 days, the paint was chipping off. Now this loyal steady customer is going elsewhere.

My sister and I called before going and they said they had space. When we got there though it was a different story. We waited a good 25 minutes. When I sat down to get a full set I waited another 12 minutes and she sat down without a smile and began to do it. She turned her head and said something in another language to her co worker and ended the sentence with an I hate that so I brushed it off. Throughout my experience she never made eye contact, never smiled, and never tried to make a conversation with me. I asked for coffin nails and when she clipped them she didnt say tell me when she clipped them how long SHE wanted them and didnt shape them correctly. My nails looked horrible. Dont recommend this place at all.

Always awesome. Been coming here for years. Never any bad experiences. I treat them with respect and I get respect in return. Ive noticed people that complain or seem unhappy often treat the staff like theyre beneath them. Its called mutual respect people.

I have been going there since March, and got a full set of acrylic nails. First set perfectly fine and lasted a few fill- ins. After that my nails would pop off clean after a weeks of getting them done. Went to a place in NC on vacation and they told me they did them all wrong. Manicures are fine with regular polish and pedicures are not bad either. Just coming to acrylic nails. Trying to find other place for business.

I have been going to Diva Nails for several years. The owner Vickie, must be overworked because her attitude has soured over the years. Quality of work inconsistent based on technician (females tend to be better than males). Today was my last visit after a rude in person encounter (waited 20 minutes) followed by a telephone hang up.

Poor Service or Prejudice? I went in at 650pm for pedicure and manicure, owner said No, because she was tired. (They close at 730 mind you, the door was open and business sign was lit up Open. ) I asked if someone else could do it, she said all of them were busy, which they were. (Still they close at 730.) She said Sorry, No she was tired. With total humility, I then asked if they could take of the shellac polish they did for me 2 weeks prior and with lots of hesitation, she said I will wrap for you. After total humiliation, i sat there with foil on my nail to get polish off. The Other worker tried to explain she wad tired, and i explained business hours and false advertisement. Are they prejudice? Or is this just poor customer service?

I was hesitant to go to this Diva Nails today after reading all of the recent poor reviews, but I had a great experience! Unexpected construction made me about 10 minutes late to my appointment, and when I called to let them know, they were so nice about it. Didnt rush me at all when picking out my colors either. Sarah did my manicure and pedicure, and Im so happy with both! All of the manicurists were professional and focused, even though it was getting pretty busy. Sarah checked several times to make sure I liked the shape and color of my nails. Couldnt be happier with my experience. Thanks!

I have been going here for the past 4 months, I love how my nails look the first few days but after that the acrylic always chips and my nails look old. Sometimes this place reminds me of a sweat shop because they just try to get people in and out as fast as possible. This past time the nail lady told me she could replace my thumb acrylics because they were lifting from my nail. She didnt tell me it was an extra charge. Also I always ask for student discount and since I go to Concordia university IN ANN ARBOR they always refuse because its not one of the schools they like. Ive also heard of multiple people getting a fungus from their pedicures but Ive never gotten one there.

Diva Nail Spa is the only place I will go for a pedicure. I have tried many different places, but they dont stack up to Diva. They are very clean and do an amazing job. I would definitely recommend that you give them a try; you wont regret it.

Hands down the best nail salon in Ann Arbor.You can call for a same-day appointment. They have tons of manicurists, so you rarely have to wait, even without an appointment. And their service is impeccable, both in terms of how they treat you and how well they do your nails.

They are severely overpriced for mediocre service. I went in 2 weeks ago and got a fill and shellac polish- it was $40 ( $5 more than what Im used to).Yesterday I went in and got a fill... $50. And it was not done as well as the first time I went. When I questioned the price difference, I was told it was because I did a matte top coat and had different colors in my nails. Ive been getting my nails done for several years and have never been charged extra for a particular top coat or choosing different polishes.

Rude & unprofessional. I came in at 7:10 and they would not service me. (Mind you they close at 7:30). All I wanted was for my nails to be removed. She said they didnt have time. If youre not going to honor customers while youre still open, maybe you should consider changing your operating hours.Ive been here numerous times and service is never stellar. Wont ever be back.

This place has terrible service and the owners are incredibly rude. I got a no-chip manicure that chipped and peeled that same day. I called and they said they would re-do it. I came in and said what I was there for. The owners told me to sit down and made me wait for 45 minutes before ever attending to me (others came in after me and left before anyone even attempted to help). Frank(the owner) started redoing my nails then left towards to end to eat lunch... I waited again. Finally his wife finished it up by slapping on the thickest coat of clear polish I’ve ever had on my nails. They didn’t say a word to me throughout this whole interaction. The only good nail technician there is Ben.

I have been coming here for years and they know me by face. Just recently went in for services and the female owner (husband and wife own the business) was so rude after I asked her if she could clean up around the overlay she put on 2 days priors. It looked like a kid did the overlay so I kindly asked if they could lightly clean it up. She was very rude, got loud with me, speaking in their language, and everyone was looking. The husband was a tad bit more professional but said they couldnt do it. Mind you, this is not the only time they have been rude to me. The only reason I stayed because of the techs -- they appear to be afraid of the owners but they are the best part of the salon. Needless to say I wont be back.....but the sad part is they dont care that a long time customer will no longer do business with them because so many people go to them -- they will always have money coming in.

I’ve been there several times, so I’m basing this off on more than one experience. They do a decent job, nothing exceptional. The worst thing about the business is that the employees are rude. Not even discreetly. The owner is the worst one. She gives you dirty looks and does not establish a good atmosphere. I have even had an employee tell me how the owner is rude to not only the customers, but to her own employees. I don’t ever leave reviews, but I thought there is something so wrong about this salon that I had to leave one.

A week and a half later and 3 of my nails popped off.. the woman doing my nails was extremely rude and cut my pinky and sighed and moaned because everytime she touched it, it burned. Not my fault you cut me. Tried to charge an extra $3 for a matte topcoat that I brought then tried to steal the nail polish that I also brought. Not worth the money at all . Go to Belle nail . Theyre much more professional

This is the best nail salon Ive been to in the area. Very clean and they do nails the right way. Im a hairdresser so I know the biz, was even in there getting my nails done when state boards came in unannounced, they got a perfect score. Good price for shellac in Ann Arbor too.

I have come to Diva nails multiple times. It has always been fine-- they never seem to be interested in my business but they do a decent nail for a decent price. However, today I went to Diva with a friend. I said that I wanted a manicure, picked out a color, and sat in the chair they told me to sit in. I waited for 25 minutes, being completely ignored until someone asked if I was being helped. I told them that I was just waiting for a manicure. He then proceeded to just start to do a Polish change. When I explained that I was waiting for a full manicure, he rolled his eyes and rudely responded as if I had told him otherwise. I have a full time job and work hard for the money I spend. I treat myself once a month to a manicure and will surely never bring my business back to Diva. I advise everyone else to do the same.

The only reason im giving 5 stars is because of the amazing Omar that works there he did a great job doing my nailsThe manager and another lady the way they ask people to come in is completely un professionalLike ive never been there but went in saw it crowded i was going to leave because there was no spot one of the ladies that works there embarrassed in front of all the customers like what i need and pick a color i was going to leave but i needed my nails done after less than 15 mins they called me i asked for changing my nail color for my toes and do acrylics i felt bad that employees doesn’t take a break like for god sake as an employee everyone should take a break and ill wait but don’t treat ur people like slaves like they will send a customer after anotherBut if you want your nails done go to OMAR A GREAT GUY

Used to frequent this place quite often, until i invited my friend along. She’s a white woman, i am not. It’s almost as if they didn’t even recognize we were together. She sat down and had her pedicure completed and moved onto her nails before i even got to sit in a pedicure chair. She was the part where they are painting her shellac manicure and she asks them if they were going to seat me, we came together, and many other people had been through the door and seated, though I’m still waiting. The nail tech then asks me “do you still want a pedicure, you’re friend is almost done”I was also, done. With them completely. People say black people always pulling the race card, so i won’t say i think they’re racist.

I just left the shop. Ive been going here about 6 years. Its gone all the way downhill! After what this girl just did to the bottoms of my feet i will NEVER EVER come back. I paid $40 for her to butcher the bottoms of my feet. EPIC FAIL!

I came in this afternoon with my daughter for a manicure and a pedicure, and it was a terrible experience. The water for my pedicure was freezing cold! The women was in such a hurry she forgot to use the pumace stone on one of my feet, when I reminded her she got upset and barely went over my foot. When we got to the manicure she didnt even soak my hands to soften my cuticles and just started trimming them, it hurt very bad! Then she once again was in such a hurry she forgot the top coat on one of my fingers, I told her and again she was rude and just acted like I was bothering her. I could have done a better job myself doing my pedicure and manicure at home..I would definitely NOT recommend this place!

The diva nails off of Jackson rd is way better. This Diva Nails lacks professionalism, I personally have been here 3 times and each time something different happens. The last time they refused to fix my one broken acrylic nail because they were closing in 10 minutes. Although the fix would have taken 3 minutes to do. For the prices they have youd expect more customer service.

Love getting a mani and pedi here. Prices are decent, and they do a great job. My polish lasts a long time and my hands and feet always feel great after!

I want to like DIVA nails. They used to do high quality work for the price. These days the quality has fallen off. I consistently leave feeling meh about my nails and regretting my decision to give this salon another chance. Today was the last straw. Poor quality job on hands and feet and I paid $40 for both. Total rip off! I should have spent my money elsewhere. Save yourself the regret and go somewhere else. You could get the same poor quality work for a 1/3 of the price at another salon.
