I chose Everwell Dentistry at a colleagues recommendation and since my previous dentist was not a PPO and I did not have coverage through her. They take great measures to reduce the risk of contracting COVID. Dr. Heys also has a great manner and very professional. She was very patient with me and together we made my bondings look really beautiful. My bonding chipped after 5 days though. So I have to go back and get that fixed. The business as a whole, however, is very poor. Here are the cons:- The folks in the admin office and dental assistants have really bad attitude.- Canceled my appointment after I got there since the retainers did not arrive on time. Did not have the courtesy to check sooner and inform me.- The admin wanted to double charge me for the retainer upon checkout. Professional staff should always check the records before asking for money.- Tried to postpone my appointment by a week and only after I insisted she double checked the system and figured I still could get the retainers later in the day.- The dental assistant initially got impressions for upper and lower teeth but I only received an upper teeth retianer.- The dental assistant who tested my retainer had really bad attitude.In general, I observed that the staff are unprofessional and unaccommodating.

Everwell Denistry is a wonderful Dentist’s office. The staff are all very friendly and do a great job cleaning teeth. It has never been painful and they have helped me with issues I’ve had with grinding my teeth and cavities. It is always easy to schedule appointments, which is a plus!

Ive been to my fair share of dentists, but I have to say I was genuinely impressed with Everwell. Great COVID precautions, super friendly people. All the equipment is great and clean. They took my x-rays right in the seat--these sort of minor details add up for a nice experience.In terms of expertise, it was clear to me they were top notch. They even seemed to know what resin my old fillings were made of. They took way more measurements than other places and pulled my x rays right up and looked at areas of concern with me. Im sure this stem from the fact that the people I talked to had studied at U of M, which is of course world class (so I can only assume they have a great dental program).I had a dentist in the past that would mention various interesting biological facts about teeth and how to keep them healthy, which Ive always enjoyed and found useful. I would be interested in hearing more about that from them, especially since they are so knowledgeable, but I realize that some customers would want just the opposite.Their registration form is easy to fill out and in-depth (which I think is a good though). They got my insurance all connected up so I just walked in and walked out--no fuss!Ive had some dentists try to push services on me, or even tell me that I should have some whitening done! Everwell was very matter of fact: here is where you are on the whiteness scale. If you are happy with that great, if not--we can help!All in all, I will be returning to the excellent institution.

Dr. Sandra Embree is a very warm, caring individual, who happens to be extremely good at what she does professionally. I regard myself lucky to have her as my dentist: she is the best dentist I ever have had. She easily and completely relates to my hypothetical (a.k.a. ambiguous) descriptions of dental concerns/issues. I am pleased with her thoroughness in treating the problem areas - she is a brick house builder not a straw house builder. She has a laser-sharp precision with fitting, i.e., she has the Midas touch. I always leave her office satisfied because I always receive a whole package of excellence - her expertise, my dental hygienist, dental assistants, and friendly office staff. And, last but not the least -- her COVID-19 operational procedures and high-tech dental technologies and equipment are part of the excellence.

Surprisingly this was the best dentist experience that I have had in my life so far. I really appreciated how through they were. The dentist assistant was great. He explained every single step and what he was doing so that there were no questions. He also was open to any questions I had and kindly answered in an understandable manner without jargon. Great patient interaction. The dentist too was good. There was no poking or hurting throughout the whole process. Everyone was very friendly. Hygienist also was nice, conversational. They were also very clear with all costs and what insurance would cover. Truly recommend. If I stay in Ann Arbor this will definitely be a dentist I stay with. It made me think of how if insurances are now moving to value-based care, I think this dentist place would do such a good job making sure there is nothing wrong so there are less complications in the future. Strongly recommend!

The dentists and hygienists have taken good care of my teeth, which are in much better condition than they were before I started coming here. Theyre friendly and patient with my questions, and theyve given me good advice on how to keep my teeth healthy in between visits. Went for a cleaning today. My first visit to a medical office in Covid times. The Dr and staff obviously put a lot of thought and money into making the office as safe as possible. I’ve been seeing Dr. Embree for over 20 years. I love her. She’s gentle, caring and smart!

They did a fantastic job to make me feel safe with all the new safety measures. And the service continues to be excellent and empathetic through the whole process.

I had to switch up my appointment at the last minute but they were super accommodating and could fit me right in. In addition, the facilities are kept super clean and they are very careful with Covid guidelines.

I found Everwell Dentistry on Google about half a year ago and decided to schedule a first appointment because of all the five star reviews (almost wondered if they were all real reviews). Its now been my fourth visit and I can attest that they are truly awesome! Dr. Hey and the team are super courteous and truly care about my dental health. I love coming to Embree Dentistry! I have visited this office 3 times since moving to Ann Arbor for various appointments, and have gotten into an exam room quickly each time. I am treated respectfully by all of the employees. Dr. Embree even remembers details about her clients and makes sure to ask you about them at each visit. The location is clean, and they use high-tech tools that I did not see at my previous dentist. My first cleaning was quick, virtually painless, and my teeth felt great when I left.

Ive had really good experiences at this dental office. The first appointment was very comprehensive and afterwards I had a filling and cleaning done. They really focus on your care and comfort!Ive had 3 fillings and a crown completed in my soon to be a year of attending their office and I would recommend them and their work to anyone.

After my first call to the office, I spoke with Kristy, I knew that we would be well taken care of. For my first couple of visits, the first being an evaluation, they were quick to reschedule if anything came up or notify me if they were running a little behind. I greatly appreciate this level of transparency. Theres nothing worse than waiting in a reception area for your scheduled appointment to open up! The hygienists are highly skilled at what they do, especially Jenny. When I am there, I see Doctor Heys, who is great. All in all, I am very impressed with the level of communication and expertise. 5 stars!

Had a fantastic experience as a new patient to Embree Dentistry. The front office staff was kind and helpful, even providing me with a disposable toothbrush to clean up before my appointment as I had forgotten mine at home that morning. Geraldine explained everything they were going to do that day, such as going over my medical and dental history, taking x-rays, checking the shade of my teeth, checking the periodontal pockets, as well as looking for tooth decay and problem areas.Up to this point in my life, I had been thinking Id never had a cavity, but Dr. Embree found a small spot on one of my molars that looked to have a resin filling. I checked back with my mom about this and she recalled a small filling I had done at about 20 years of age. Whoops! Guess it wasnt too bad as I couldnt even remember it. It was nice that Dr. Embree sat down with me to go over all my history information, and explained each part of the exam and what they were looking for. She took a few photos of areas they think may develop into cavities in the coming years that they want to monitor as well.Overall, my experience was very pleasant and informative. All of the staff were kind, courteous and helpful, the office was very clean and well-organized, and I felt comfortable and well-cared for. I am so pleased to have found my Ann Arbor Dentist!

They did a great job at the beginning, but after two years it feels like you are just another dollar to get to the wallet.At the end felt discriminated by being attended by new employees.Also seemed like they are selling products to you in every opportunity they have.Good place to bring your dental care for a few years, no more than that.

New patient here, and I have had two appointments - so far so good. Did not scold me about gaps in my dental past or try to push elaborate work right off the bat. Recommended a more conservative approach to known issues than past dentists have (which is appreciated), while still modern and thorough about the work done. I liked getting close-up views of problem areas, and thorough explanations - I didnt feel ignorant on why something was recommended. Theyre friendly and have a small office feel - while I get the impression its a busy office, I also didnt feel rushed in and out.

Embree dentistry is wonderful! I came in for a regular check-up and clean, and the dentists and assistants were all extremely kind and professional, not to mention fast. My check-up took less than an hour, and they were able to schedule a next-day appointment for several fillings. When I came in the next day for the fillings and a cleaning, both appointments took an hour (together). Ive never been to a dentist that was so quick and thorough, without compromising on quality. What is more, the administrative staff knew the ins-and-outs of my insurance deeply, making it easy for me to make appropriate decisions. I cant recommend them enough!

Getting my teeth cleaned is not one of my favorite things to do, however, Ive have such great experiences with Dawn as my hygienist. Shes does a very good job all the while being gentle and caring. Check this place out! Three years ago I got into an accident and had extensive work done on my mouth/ jaw. I was looking for a local dentist when I was fortunate enough to come across Dr. Embree. She is amazing! Due to the accident I was simply dreading having to spend more time in the dentist and was so nervous; at first, I was actually shaking sitting in the dentist chair. Dr. Embree is incredible at her job and I am amazed at what a beautiful smile I have now. She takes time so you understand options/ procedures, makes sure you are comfortable, and is a perfectionist at her job. Plus, the staff members are great- friendly and efficient. Sandra Embree and her staff provide super-competent, friendly, gentle dental care and education. Im a 10-year patient and I still learn something every time I go. When the big surgeries come along, the staff is supportive and the care is 110 percent. Dr. Embrees office is beautifully decorated with bright colors, which is especially nice when youre staring into space during teeth cleanings. The staff is always warm and welcoming, and there never are waits to get in for appointments.

Everyone there is very nice and helpful! Dr. Embree did great work on two crowns for me and even helped me right before my wedding at the last minute.

I needed to switch my semi-annual teeth cleaning appointment due to an event that I will be attending. Jill worked diligently to accommodate my request and my hygienist came in early to do the cleaning. Everyone on staff at Dr. Embrees and Dr. Heyes office are wonderful, cheerful, and most of all thorough and well skilled in their areas of expertise. Always an enjoyable experience.

I have been frightened of the dentist since I was young. There was always pain, frustration and no one was ever happy. I reached the point where I had to take medication to calm me down just to step into a dental office. My fear was severe enough my husband had to take time off work to drive me so I would be able to get there safely.My experience with Dr. Embree and her staff is different. I told them of my fears and they agreed to work with me at my speed. They let me be in control of my appointment.They smile, joke and talk with me. Dr, Embree tells new people working on me the rules, that if I need a break I will signal for it and they will give me one. They realize that my fear is not unusual, but I am facing it and with them working with me I can deal.Occasionally there is pain, but that is the exception not the rule.Today I am able to go in without needing calming medication, meditation or music to focus on. I am taking myself to treatments and actually looking forward to talking to the staff. Everyone is friendly, helpful and willing to work with me.I would recommend this office to anyone who needs or has the fear of the dentist. To me, they work miracles.
