Per always, the professionalism at Oak Valley Dental Associates is above top notch! To keep their patients as comfortable as possible, the dentists and support staff have really fine-tuned the process of providing the most efficient and effective procedures during these times of Covid 19 -- almost like a choreographed dance. Just tremendous! I drive more than 35 miles (one way!) for my dental care with Oak Valley Dental Associates, and I would drive even further, if necessary. They are beyond exceptional! Excellent service and care. Dr. Kolling took the time to talk with me and make sure I had all the info I wanted before he started the work (replacing two old fillings). I was nervous and he was very reassuring. He was also very gentle with the needle when numbing the area - he didnt just jab it in like my previous dentist! He also used a topical before using the needle, so the needle didnt hurt as much. He took his time and explained everything he was doing, and put in the effort to get it just right. He also let me know that I could call him and come back the same day if anything felt off after the numbness wore off. I had no problems at all and was totally satisfied. Thanks to this experience, I no longer dread having that kind of work done. Everyone in the office was very kind and clearly cared about the patients. I just moved to this practice and my husband and daughter are coming with me. Very happy I made this choice.

Best around - really great, friendly people, and superior work. I see Dr. Edwards and hes wonderful. Pays extremely close attention to detail and genuinely cares about making your smile the best it can be. I recently had a front chipped tooth repaired (which is difficult as its front and center), and had a hard time matching with a composite as I was in between color shades, and Dr. Edwards took the time to do outside research and get extra shades they dont carry in the office to make sure I had the perfect match. The dental work blends flawlessly with my other teeth, couldnt be happier. I no longer live in Ann Arbor, but the 45 minute trip is well worth it - wouldnt go anywhere else.

When I needed my records for some dental work I was getting done abroad, they were very responsive and accommodated my requests immediately. Oak Valley Dental is a true treasure for the Ann Arbor area. The dentists are on the cutting edge of tested tools in dental care, and are exceptional in service. I had a dental emergency a couple of years ago the day I was to leave for vacation, and the staff were quickly responsive to my call. Whenever I have needed a procedure, the dentists have explained all of the possible treatment options and their varying costs, and then given their clinical opinion on the best option. I have seen Dr. Lisull for decades, so when she moved to Oak Valley, I was also fortunate to receive service from her colleagues. I always recommend this clinic to coworkers and friends who are in search of a reliable practice. I trust the professionals there completely and have never been disappointed!

Dr. Kolling is so gentle and knowledgable. He explained the whole exam, x-ray findings and procedures to me, including answering all my specific questions, and made me feel at ease. The whole clinic seems so organized - on multiple occasions the visits have been kept to a strict time schedule, while still feeling relaxed.

I see two dentists at Oak Valley Dental, depending on what treatment required. Ive had much work done over the years due to a childhood accident, and Ive never received better care than at OVD. Theyve fixed/are fixing some not so great work done in years past, and all who work there manage to make it a pleasant experience. I appreciate they push patient promptness in order to keep to their schedule. Ive only once had to wait, and that was due to an emergency.

The Oak Valley Dental team is the best dental practice that Ive ever encountered. The staff is highly knowledgeable and competent. Dr. Kolling is a brilliant yet humble dentist. He has helped me tremendously with some big issues, and always providing honest advice. The hygienists are brilliant! How many Hygienists can diagnose a deep dental root abscess just from history and exam? Theirs can! And because they are not beholden to insurance company artificial reimbursement rules, they pursue quality, not quantity. They work FOR ME and take care of ME. You might think that a dentist who doesnt participate in insurance will cost more, but in reality they have saved me money by providing quality, timely care. Ive had dentists do things just because of silly reimbursement rules. That doesnt happen at Oak Valley Dental!So I give this dental practice my highest recommendation. Im a surgeon by profession, and I know quality when I see quality. I have great respect for the team in this office!

Weve been seeing Dr. Lisull for over 20 years, even after moving to California 14 years ago. We make our annual pilgrimage to AA just to get our teeth cleaned because of the quality and care that Dr. Lisull and Oak Valley gives to us. Yes, we know that there are good dentists in California, but when you find a great dentist, why change? You cant just let anyone poke around your oral cavity for an hour. Not only do you get the personal attention that is needed during the visit, but they educate you to keep your teeth and gums healthy for your lifetime. They keep the best notes and history on your past visits. You will surely improve your brushing and flossing habits and technique. We come all the way from California just to visit our friends at Oak Valley.

The team at Oak Valley Dental is very friendly, incredibly professional and provides an exceptional experience for both adults and children. My kids were small, maybe 4 and 2, when we first came to Dr. Lisull and now they are 20, 23 and 25 and still with OVD. Who needs pediatric dentistry when you have her? She uses the latest practices and procedures and keeps all of us aware of lifelong, excellent care for our teeth. Dr. Kolling has the skill a of a sculptor, shaping crowns with artistry! Dr. Edwards is wonderful too and good with our children. This group is always right on-time for appointments. Never a wait in the waiting room. Great appointment reminder system (text, voice mail and email). Immaculate facilities. We love the Oak Valley location.

I can say with out hesitation that Dr Lisull is probably the best dentist that I have been to in my entire life. I first was introduced to her by my wife 15 years ago. She had been using Dr Lisull for a number of years and raved about her. I was a skeptic at best. I also wasnt sure that I wanted to use a dentist who only focused on teeth cleaning.I am glad that she proved me wrong. The extra special care that I have received in teeth cleaning has paid off in the long run in my having well maintained teeth. There is nothing that i find wrong with the quality of care that i received.When Dr Lisull switched her location to the Oak Valley Dental Associates I was also a bit skeptical. I liked her previous location and their location on Oak Valley was a bit of a hassle. Again the quality of care from all of the staff at Oak Valley has insured that I get the best care I could ask for my teeth.I have had less dental work done then in the last 10 years then i had in the 40 years before. The quality of all of the work done is expectational and the staff is both professional and efficient, not to mention kind.If i was looking for a local dentist I certainly would recommend Dr Lisull without blinking an eye.
