I recently had braces at over 50 to correct my bite and some rotation. I opted for traditional braces with wires as it was quicker and I was very happy with the results. The entire staff at Embrace Orthodontics answered my questions and concerns and made it easy to schedule appts and followup. Would highly recommend and am actually going to have my daughters work done here also. Love my new smile.

Ive never written a Google review before but feel compelled to write one about Dr. Li and Embrace Orthodontics. Dr. Li is intellectually curious and wonderfully compassionate. The depth of her orthodontic training and research is exceptional, and it was clear from our first meeting that evidence-based decision-making, integrity, and transparency are at the heart of her practice. She is incredibly responsive and goes out of her way to patiently respond to questions. You can tell that she loves what she does and cares deeply for her patients. She is the only orthodontist in the practice, and the care she provides is hands-on, attentive, and personalized. Our two children (6 and 9) loved their interactions with her and enthusiastically asked to go back.The office space is also thoughtfully organized and reflects that seriousness with which Dr. Li has responded to and continues to respond to COVID-19. To top it off, all of the staff are vaccinated, which is hard to find and brings great comfort. I cant recommend Dr. Li and Embrace Orthodontics highly enough!

I started my treatment in October 2020. My underbite was fixed in 3-4months which is amazing. (She told me the treatment will last 1.5 to 2 years, but it’s amazing to see a big change in the first 4 months) I’m closing gaps now. It’s painful but effective. Dr.Li is very nice and professional. It’s happy to see my teeth (and my face) change every month.

Dr Li is highly professional and responsive, and she cares a lot about her patients. I’m only halfway through, but I’m extremely satisfied with the experience and how my teeth look. The clinic is also clean and tidy. Highly recommend it for adults and kids.

Highly recommend! My daughter has a complicated case. Other orthodontists suggested the conventional treatment plan to extract all four premolars, but we hope to save these adult teeth because my daughters teeth doesnt present crowding problem. We came to Dr. Li for a second opinion. Dr. Li examine my daughters case very thoroughly, and spent time to discuss with my daughters dentist and oral surgeons. She came up with a very comprehensive treatment plan that may potentially save all the adult teeth. During our first few visits, she explained the treatment options, goals, and associated risks in details, and spent time answering all my questions. The treatment cost is very reasonable too. I dont normally write reviews but my daughter urged me to write something for Dr. Li. We really appreciate her dedication and patience!

Worst experience of customer service skills ever.I called to book an appointment before flying back to the U.S. and unfortunately the receptionist couldnt comprehend my situation and after explaining to her multiple times she still couldnt comprehend the situation. She then put me on hold and came back and said, We cant help you here since youre in Germany. Youll have to go somewhere else. I said may I please speak to someone else. I explained to her again that I was flying back to the States. She then proceeded to tell me that I was not going to get service there since Im in Germany. Then she hung up on me. Terrible customer service and not a place I would waste my time on. If you cant comprehend simple logic how can assist customers.

UPDATE: After 6 months of treatment I feel as though the team at Embrace has improved greatly! My smile has been progressing rapidly as explained by the team. Appointments run smooth, on time and the team has a great attitude!This review is after 3 months of treatment with ceramic upper and metal lower braces. I first was drawn to Embrace orthodontics because of the location and educational background of Dr. Li. To make a long story complicated by coronavirus short, I decided to start treatment because of the reasonable price, and I could get braces put on asap. Up until now, I have felt that my appointments were rushed and there was not the best communication between the staff.While Dr. Li is very knowledgeable and answers any questions that you have before treatment, sometimes it feels like it’s a condescending tone, or that it’s an inconvenience to explain to a layperson. Also, there has been little explanation about my progress so far and what my goal/expectation should be before my next appointment. This combined with being chastised multiple times for submitting COVID-19 screening forms 10 minutes before my second appointment lead me to be so frustrated after my second appointment, I went to two other orthodontists to look into switching offices. After much debate, the best option for me was to stay in treatment at Embrace Orthodontics.Another thing I think the staff could work on is explaining what they are doing to your teeth as they are working in your mouth, in my opinion, this is a hallmark of great dentists that I’ve had in the past.All this said the office is so new/inexperienced that I think it is unfair to expect perfection so early. I’m sure by the time my treatment is complete, my review will be 5 stars!

I happened upon Embrace Orthodontics in December of 2019. I was in search of Invisalign and an Orthodontist on the north side of Ann Arbor, where it would be convenient for me to stop on my commute home. I set up a consultation, and couldnt be happier.Upon entering the office, I was thrilled to see how clean everything was. It was brand new, tastefully decorated, and sparkling.
