This is my third pair of glasses from LensCrafters and I have been so impressed with their quality and service. They are super friendly, Candace was extremely helpful with my pick up today. I love how they pay attention to all the details, and make you feel at ease and not rushed, even if they’re busy! Also appreciate their policy to get glasses cleaned or adjusted whenever it’s needed!

These people were simply great!! Even though they had to do all the extra things for Corona Virus, they were upbeat, knowledgeable, and helpful. Very much what I needed that day. The high tech equipment had me done with my exam in a few minutes and they got me matched up with lenses and frames that were what I want and within my budget. Go there!!

I really miss the LensCrafters that use to be on Macys. Every-time I go into this LensCrafters I never really know what experience I will get but this person MANIA EXTREMELY rude and very much entitled. She should apply to Walmart or dollar tree where that behavior is acceptable not in a luxury retailer like LensCrafters.

We were greeted as soon as we entered the store. The tech that did our pre-testing (Casie) did a nice job explaining everything. Dr. Berenjian was very thorough and not only explained things in terms we could understand but gave us several opportunities to ask questions along the way. The associate/manager that assisted us was Rebecca, and her knowledge and expertise in helping us find the perfect glasses was second to none! We love our new glasses. Thank you Lens Crafters!

This was such a great experience! From the ease of making an appointment online to my glasses being ready ridiculously fast. Every staff member was pleasant and knowledgeable. I loved that I could see everyone pitching in to make sure everything was sanitized and safe for customers. Im actually sad that I only need to visit once a year! The staff I saw (including the doctor) were all amazing women who worked together like a well oiled machine. Absolutely awful customer service. Went in to get glasses a few weeks ago and the employees were extremely rude! I am a POC and they treated me poorly compared to the other white people in the store. Do not go to this place if you are a person of color, they will discriminate and be highly dismissive of you.

I purchased glasses three months ago and I paid $600. My previous glasses broke, and I hadn’t had an eye exam in several years. I was given an eye exam and was told what prescription I need. The only reason I changed my prescription, was because LensCrafters told me I needed to upgrade my prescription. Now I can’t see, and they want to charge me over $200 if I want to go back to my old prescription which actually worked. So now in the end I end up paying $800 for one pair of normal glasses. I will never ever go to LensCrafters again. I work at a local business serving the public five days a week, and I will tell as many people as I can not to spend their money elsewhere. I trusted my eyesight to this business, and now I can’t see. I literally have to work another month to save money so I can see again. Don’t trust LensCrafters to give you a proper eye exam, they literally could care less about doing a proper job

Very quick process of getting my glasses readjusted. Would come back anytime to get this service done even though this isn’t my regular store.

I usually deal with the Lenscrafters in Taylor however I needed to come to Briarwood for emergency replacement. The Taylor store assured me that I would be taken care of. The Briarwood store would not honor another policy. I had to drive 1/2 hour thru misty rain half blind to get here only to be turned away. No excuse for not honoring another branches policy. Wouldnt recommend this location to anyone.

I was very pleased with the stores COVId-19 precautions - made me feel safe while still allowing as close to a normal experience as possible. I cannot say enough good things! I am going to go to LensCrafters for the rest of my life. Every single employee I encountered was kind, informative and helpful. My doctor explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. The staff on the floor helped me pick something that looked great on my face. The glasses selection was stunning and I found sunglasses and glasses I loved almost immediately. The lab had my glasses and sunglasses made for me in less than two hours. Since this was done during COVID, I’ll also mention they exceeded expectations in precautions. I felt like everything was clean and safe from the minute I stepped in the door.

Professional, I was impressed by the staff, they are all very together, young, pretty, and fit, it made the experience so much better.

They fixed my broken glasses in about 5 minutes, for free, and I hadnt even bought my glasses there! They were very friendly, and they have a nice system in place for cleaning the frames after people try them on, and they are also taking temperatures at the entrance. I looked at the frames while they were fixing my glasses, and they werent pushy at all. I would recommend this store!

Dr. Stacy was very kind to me and listened to call of my questions as well as answered them. She fit me for contacts too! She even had my toric lenses in the office for me! It is very rare to find an eye doctor who keeps all different kinds of trial lenses on hand, especially Toric lenses for people with astigmatism!! Overall experience was wonderful. Thank you Dr. Stacy! The gentleman, helped me with my glasses purchase and was very pleasant and informative as well. He explained things in detail to me and I didnt feel rushed.Im so sorry I forgot his name. I was there on 11/20/20 until about 6:20 pm if that help figure out who he is. Thank you everyone! The processes with LensCrafters are horrible considering ALL the options that exist online. When I asked for a simple correction to payment be made by having out of pocket funds be paid with FSA card, I was told they cannot do this due to insurance reasons. Which does not make sense at since, since you can turn the glasses and get a full refund to just purchase another pair. They could have easily refunded the glasses and processed over again using the payment method we requested. The second issue was related to our daughter frames that broke while she was driving within 3 months of purchasing. When we pointed out that the frames had a defect, they refused to replace them. Battling this issue, I found out that the manufacturer of all these glasses are actually by LensCrafters by a different name. Prescription glasses are a Class I medical device and regulated by FDA. Any consumer that has had any issues related to the glasses can report the adverse event directly with FDA online and will force LensCrafters into responding.

LensCrafters has been my go to place. For any person that travels for a living they are your best choice.

Catie did pre-exam and explained everything she was doing. Dr Stacy was extremely thorough in my exam, followed by Becky’s expertise in helping me choose a stylish frame and lenses that would suit my needs. Definitely recommend!

Try any other eye exam and glass manufacturer out there before you go to a lenscrafters. I purchased the scratch resistant lenses and within a month and a half there were spots on the lenses that would not come off. I took them back, but they said that these werent covered with the scratch resistance and that this was caused by how I was cleaning them. That is complete garbage because Ive had many glasses from different places and this has never happened before.Terrible customer service, terrible quality glasses, and not worth your time or money.

During my original purchase, a manager noticed a tiny imperfection on my frame. She ordered a replacement frame. I went in to exchange the frame and Bailey noticed a defect in one of my lenses. She had a new one made for me straight away!This crew is professional and on top of their game!!Thank you so much.

I showed less than 10 minutes late due to the mall directory and location being marked as in Macys still despite moving locations and the walk in the wrong direction. I was told to reschedule as this was seen as too much of a delay despite the fact the doctor was still seeing the last patient.

I was worried about all the bad reviews before going in, but theyre one of the only places thatll take my new insurance and I didnt have much choice.I was pleasantly surprised by how well my appointment went. Was in and out fairly quickly even as a new patient. Dr. Redwood was so incredibly kind, informative, asked if I had any questions, and made sure all my paperwork was given to me before I even had to ask. The technicians were a little quiet but very polite and professional. One was a shadow during my appointment and the trainer was helping her without it being a distraction or slowing it at all. The selection is a little less varied than Im used to but I enjoy unusual, odd frames. I received a quote without any pressure to purchase. Overall, extremely pleased with the whole endeavor. I think the problems that were listed in previous reviews were addressed. I look forward to going back!

Dont use LensCrafters in Briarwood Mall, they cant keep on schedule. Today we had a 1:20 pm appointment for an eye exam and new glasses, we arrived at 1:10 and filled out the paperwork and turned it in. At 1:45 pm we still hadnt been called back for the exam. I asked a staff person about how long until we could see the Dr., she told me about another 20 minutes. Well that was not acceptable, my time is also valuable, I was not going to wait another 20 minutes for an appointment that I have already waited 25 minutes for. I will never go back or recommend them to anyone.

Took a old pair of expensive sunglasses in that had a sheared-off screw stuck in the frame, after I broke them in my pocket. They said they could probably fix it, but it would be at least a day before they could get to them... They called me an hour later and said they had them completely fixed and ready for pick up! I was very surprised to see they had not only put the frame back together, but reattached missing nose pieces and cleaned the lenses perfectly. All at no cost! Great service!

We went to Lens Crafters at Briarwood Mall to take advantage of their 50% off lens (prescription only) offer. Although we were approached by a sales representative, it was clear that there is little help provided with either the selection of a frame or getting the right lens made for the glasses. I agree with previous reviewers that Lens Crafters at Briarwood seems to be all about moving, moving, moving the merchandise and very little about service. We were told that my daughters glasses would be ready in an hour. They were not. I returned later in the day to pick them up. They were ready but after my daughter tried them on there was clearly something wrong with the way the lenses were made. We just spent $800 for two pairs of new glasses and received mediocre service. The lady who helped my daughter was trying to help 3 or 4 customers at the same time and kept going back and forth between us. I called LC today, spoke with a manager and described the problem with my daughters glasses. She told me that this must have something to do with her prescription. I dont think so. When anyone looks through the lenses and into a light they can clearly see a double-image. We are returning on Monday to get this fixed. Ill complete my review after we see whether LC Briarwood stands behind their product and their work. Ive gone to Pearl Vision for years and have never experienced a problem like this. However, based on our current experience there seems to be a greater concern about moving merchandise at this LC store than there is with the quality of the product(s) they produce or concern for the customer. For now I am generously giving them a 3-star rating, but I will revisit this post next week following a consultation with the store manager.

I am a customer of LensCrafters and am wearing the eyeglasses that I bought there. Today I went to ask if I could have an optometrist look at my eyes to check something that would take about 2 minutes. If the answer were one of two possibilities, I would proceed to get a complete examination, new prescription, and buy new eyeglasses (or new lenses). If the answer were the other, I knew I needed a procedure to be done elsewhere. The response I got, after an optometrist was asked, was that it would cost $50 for a consultation even if the whole thing took 2 minutes.I then went to Pearle Vision and asked to speak to the optometrist and explained the situation. She agreed with me that it would be ridiculous to pay for a whole consultation if the matter only took 2 minutes of her time. She then took a quick look at my eyes and gave me the answer that I needed the procedure done elsewhere. She went further--beyond my request--and filled out a whole referral form.Now I teach Medical Ethics and have also taught Business Ethics. I often discuss the difference between a BUSINESS whose primary purpose is MAKING MONEY and a PROFESSION which, though also earning money, is primarily concerned with those whom they serve, in this case, patients.So is optometry a profession or a business? At Pearle optometrist Dr. McKenzie is a professional. At LensCrafters, you have a business.Actually, short-term greed is even bad business. When I do next need a new prescription and new eyeglasses, which one do you think Ill go back to. Which one will I recommend to friends and on Facebook?Its not unreasonable at all to have to pay for a consultation, but commonsense would dictate that if its a simple question requiring 2 minutes to answer, one and should can be flexible. If after 2 minutes its clear that more time needs to be spent, of course the optometrist SHOULD insist on payment for further examination and any decent patient/client would understand that.

The technician that I was working with acted agitated that I was taking so long to pick frames. I only took 15 minutes. He was irritated that I picked transition lenses. He had to go in the back to re-pull the lenses that he already pulled. I had not picked any to begin with. This was the worst experience I have ever had purchasing glasses. I will never shop here again.

My glasses only lasted a little over a year. Lenses have huge cracks in them and all they can do for me is sell me another pair. Dont buy glasses from them. My last pair lasted seven years! Poor quality and thirty day warranty!!

Had my eye exam and glasses at Novi Store store the frames I had are wrap arounds with transition bifocals that dont work too well with wrap around frames I was just outside of my 30 days I dont like return but they help me out. Verity was not only meeting my expectations but it exceeded them she was very patient and helpful

On October 24th 2014 I bought 2 pairs of glasses at this location and charged them on my lenscrafters card. I was promised 12 months at 0%. When I recieved my 1st bill the promo was for 6 months! I called Synchrony Bank first to see if the credit card company could fix this. They told me that they could not fix this issue. They assured me that the store could correct it and referred me back to the store! I called the store and they said they would take care of it. I called the store 4 more times since October and my bill is still wrong. The last payment is for $775.00 and is due on May 10th and I am still fighting for the correction. I am never recommending this store to anyone and I will never shop there again!! I rate this store a negative 10 and I rate the customer service and intelligence of the staff a negative 20.
