Angela is AMAZING! I am 25 and have rocked various pixie cuts for over 10 years. It is SO hard to find someone who knows how to cut/trim a pixie. More often than not, when I meet with a new stylist, they mess up my fade (going too low or too high), they do a poor job of blending and Im left with a straight, chunky line of hair from my bangs to the back of my head. Overall, any hunt for a new stylist is always risky and stressful. IMAGINE MY RELIEF when I walked into this shop and saw that most of the employees had pixie cuts themselves! Before I even talked to them, I was confident they could sympathize with my struggle and would know exactly what I was talking about when I told them what I did and did not want. Angela, as it turns out, used to work in a barbershop, and she gave me the best fade and blend I have had in years! I have been going to her and only her for several months now and pray she doesnt leave any time soon. She is a godsend!

Took my daughter here today for a haircut as our normal stylist was booked. I was a little hesitant at first especially after reading some of the reviews but my daughter wanted it cut before going to camp. I’m glad we made the trip. My daughter LOVES her haircut! Lindsay (who normally works at the (Dexter location) cut/styled her hair exactly how she asked her too. Lindsay also saved my daughters long locks for her so she could donate it to a charity of her choice.We were greeted the minute we walked in, it was a very short wait, EXCELLENT hair cut and the price was great!Thank you for making this a great experience for my teen.

Poor customer service. The haircut was fine but ended up paying over DOUBLE what I was told on the phone... even after I was clear with what I wanted done. Would not recommend, please save your money and go elsewhere.

I just moved to Ann Arbor in the summer, when the pandemic had closed down many salons. It wasnt until recently though, that I had the time (and courage!) to visit a salon and get my haircut. I was overdue! While looking through all the salons in the area, I found Great Clips. After reading some of the negative reviews I went into my appointment with a little apprehension. I had nothing to worry about. Checking in online using the Great Clips app is easy! The app asked me how many people were getting a haircut, and I squeezed in my daughter, my sister, and myself into one appointment! The wait time was about 20 minutes. Ive waited for prescriptions to fill at a pharmacy longer than that! When we arrived, we waited in our car until the countdown hit 5 minutes. The stylists were friendly and nice. They got finished with their current customers fast and efficiently. The whole appointment took probably less than 30 minutes for the 3 of us. They both were excellent at their jobs. Jasmine handled my daughter and myself. Im afraid I didnt catch the other ones name. We all walked out confident and loving our new styles. We will definitely return for future cuts!!For everyone who is worried based on negative reviews, remember two things:1) Form your own opinions by trying it out. Worst come to worse, you dont like it and you dont return. You wont know if you dont try.2) People will always treat you the way your exterior tells them to. If you and closed off and quiet, or have an aura of being in a hurry or annoyance people will treat you less friendly. Its human nature.

I got my hair trimmed by Jasmine. She went above and beyond. My hair was so messed up and she fixed it for me which no other stylist has ever tried to do. I showed my mom my hair (who lives in Ohio) and she said she’s coming to Michigan for her trims bc it was so good lol! Jasmine I really appreciate what you did and I will definitely be back!

The stylist Heather was rude and unfriendly.She even rolled her eyes at me when I didn’t describe very well how I wanted by hair cut.She managed to cut my hair in 3 minutes.Scary!She stopped cutting my hair twice to sign people in.She could have told the incoming customers she would be with them after cutting my hair which literally took 3 minutes.Then as I was paying she said “Do we want a receipt”? It was only me and there was no we.Rude, rude and Rude. I will Definitely find a better salon in the future.

The wait was 73 minutes. So, signed in, left to run errands, and came back in an hour only to be told the slot expired 45 minutes in. I get high demand, but you guys need to boost your customer service.

Angie and Jasmine are the best. Dis where I get my haircut.Dont think for a minute a boojie spot worth it.And i look good. But I feel great☆16 for mens cut.Dont be cheapTip 10.You are worth it.And so are they~

I went to this location after a really unfortunate experience at another location. Jasmine, the stylist here, is so amazing! She was so friendly and professional. She cut my hair and added layers and face frame, and gave me curl recommendations. Such a nice person, so glad I went to this location. Thank you!

Jay did an awesome job with my haircut today!! This was my first time at Great Clips and I will be going back every time. Ive been going to private salons and I hated them for the crazy prices, unnecessary extras, difficult scheduling, and time commitment (why should a simple haircut ever take hours?!). I think I waited for maybe a minute before Jay called me up for my turn (I used the awesome check in app). I told Jay I liked my long hair but was sick of it getting in my way. She listened to me and understood exactly what I wanted without asking me to commit to a number of inches I wanted off (which is a thing I am absolutely terrible at estimating). She gave me the beautiful long layers I wanted (with that awesome jagged edges look that I never know how to ask for) and the exact length Id been picturing. My hair looks and feels amazing! :) Not to mention I was in and out during my lunch break with time to spare, I didnt have a wet head from my hair being washed like the salons do, and the price was more than right! Thank you Jay!

Its reliable. Its not mind blowing and please do not get your hair cut here before you get married. However, I go here once a month and they do the same thing and I like it. Its not a standard haircut and theyve only messed it up once. Im going to keep going. Solid 4/5

Ive used Great Clips for pretty much every haircut Ive received in the last ten years. In general, I find their services to be great and affordable. I would give the company as a whole 4 or 5 stars.... but this location has had some issues lately.I went there on 7/27/2018 to get a haircut, and there were two stylists there. I had forgotten to sign in online, so I was prepared to wait a bit. I signed in, and then sat for a moment. I get antsy, though, and got up to look at some of the hair care products on display. After growing bored of that, I was just standing near the register, not really paying attention. Then, one of the stylists practically ordered me to sit down and wait. I was taken aback, but sat down, thinking that she was distracted by me loitering near the register - she might have thought I needed to check in.So, Im waiting, and another customer comes in, saying they had checked in online. The same crabby stylist goes to check him in, and insists that he did not check in online. He was adamant that he had done so, but the stylist was extraordinarily rude to him. At this point, I got fed up and left, so I dont know how that situation turned out.I ended up going to the location at Carpenter Crossing, had great service and a great cut, and even bought some product. I dont know who the franchise owner at the Packard location is, but they need to take a good hard look at their staff, because they are driving away business with their bad attitudes.

Unfortunately one of the worse haircuts Ive ever had. She trimmed the hair around my ear too high on one side and overall pretty uneven on the rest. Seemed like she was in a rush even though I was the only one there. For my first time at this place you would think there would be more care to retain me as a customer. Very disappointed.Update 12/13/19: I sent an email to the company below on 12/7/19. Have not heard anything back from them since. So, not only was I disappointed with the haircut, the company hasnt even bothered to respond outside of public view. Dont expect customer service worth anything from them.

As a female with very long, thick, damaged hair Im always tentative to venture from high end salons to more cost effective salons like Great Clips. However, Travis at Great Clips on E Stadium Blvd treated me even better than high priced salons. Travis listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me a haircut that was better than I could have imagined. The haircut topped any haircut Ive ever had, wish I couldve afforded to give a larger tip! Travis is super friendly, professional, and I would absolutely return because of Travis! Great work :)

We have been very happy with this Great Clips. There have been a couple of glitches but thats not bad for the years we have been going. For the last two years, my husband has used a walker and most of the stylists could not be nicer or more helpful.

I have been to this location a number of times as they have done a good or I should say the best job that I have gotten in Ann Arbor. Aissa is the gal that has done my hair, but I have watched & observed the other stylists and would not have a problem with any of them doing my hair. They try 2 be very accommodating. Definitely would recommend trying them out. You can do a check in on their app so when you get there you do not have to wait as long.

Had a great experience! Was given a peel off coupon to get a discount on products (we won 50% off and a $5 off) plus we were given thank you cards with free haircut coupons for next time. And all of that was in addition to good haircuts, quick service and nice employees.

Went there on Saturday around noon, no queue at all.I was surprised how quick it went, I literally spent less than 15 min in the salon (only for haircut, no shampoo or careful drying were proposed).My stylist (Bimbola) was quite friendly, even though I didnt appreciate that she criticized what I was asking for :/ But she ended up doing what I wanted, and I was pretty happy with the result.Good place if you want something simple and fast, probably not if you want something which demands time and more design.

The people here are gracious and kind. They cut your hair well and do it efficiently for a reasonable price. I highly recommend if youre in the area.

Ive always had a great haircutting experience here but a.) Im almost completely overwhelmed by getting my hair cut even though I do it every month and b.) Im a white male and thats honestly what the company mostly caters to. Some hairdressers can do short and curly hair but not all are comfortable imho. Theyre all great at mine though!

The whole point of getting a haircut is to make you look neat, but I came out shabbier than before. The person who cut my hair also accidentally trimmed my eye brows. :(

Same haircut for over a decade.....check. No matter who is holding the scissors, your haircut is stored in the database, so after the first cut, you never have to explain yourself again. Couple that with the online check-in and reasonable price and you are looking at one of the easiest haircutting experiences around.

Aissa was super professional and made me feel very comfortable. I had cut ten inches for a hair donation, she knew exactly how to cut it and bag it. Ive started chemo and my hair is starting to really fall out, Im not ready to go bald yet but wanted a cut that was more manageable. She listened to my needs and gave me exactly what I wanted. Couldnt be happier!

My friend was desperate to get a cut before close and we called to see if they would still help us out at 8:30pm (they close at 9pm). The lady said she was happy to help! She gave my friend exactly what she wanted... the woman who cut her hair was named Jay and she was sooo friendly, enthusiatic, and fun! Definitely go see her for an afforable professional cut!

Friendly and accurate service. Would be nice to have easier access to coupons, but $50 (including tip) for two haircuts and a beard trim isnt bad. Parking is ok after 6, but might be tight during the day.

Love this place!After getting by far the worst hair cut at Salon 2457 I went into Great Clips to have my butchered hair fixed. The stylist who cut my hair was quite nice and also listened to everything that I wanted done to my hair. It was probably one of the better hair cuts Ive gotten and for cheap too! I will most defanatly will be going back!

Went to store on stadium and packard. I hadnt signed in online as I dont generally give my personal information out. Person was surly and rude and bumped me twice for people who subsequently came in and had signed on online. That made me feel I was being penalised for not giving my personal information out. I left and went to a Sports Clips where I was treated more like a customer and got a great cut . I dont think I will go great clips again.

Very nice place, staff are friendly and price is reasonable, $13 for a hair cut. They tend to get busy at times so I would suggest downloading their check in app so you can save time, or if you dont have a smart phone you can also check in online at their website if you have a computer.

I went in to get layers in my hair, all she did was trim my hair, no layers were added. I also told her i didnt want to get it washed but she insisted anyways. I had work right after so i asked her to blow dry it, which she charged me for... for something i didnt even want nor needed. My hair is 3 inches shorter and NOTHING, NO layers were added, she kept insisting on me keeping my long hair, which i never asked for her opinion. I was charged 48 for everything including a little bottle of leave in conditioner for 8 dollars. I honestly wanted to cry when i got to work after seeing my hair and what it costed me to just get 3 inches off, a wash i didnt ask for, and to get it dry, which caused it to get so frizzy. The lady was very sweet but everthing went so terrible.

I have been getting my hair cut here since I moved here 3 years ago. I always have Heather cut my hair, she does a great job with my difficult hair, and I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Great place! Ive gotten 2 cuts here since arriving in Ann Arbor. My last cut was excellent. The stylist was professional, cared about what I wanted and made sure to go the extra mile to get the right cut. My first cut was poor quality and the stylist was clearly trying to cut corners so she could be fast, and that showed in my haircut.The difference - whether the stylist was parttime or fulltime. The poor quality cut was by a stylist that only worked on weekends as a parttime job to make extra money. The great cut was by a fulltime stylist that worked during the week.From now on Ill come here, but only during the week. :)
