This place WILL keep you waiting. Multiple issues with them not calling us in 30-45 minutes AFTER our appt time. Remember, THEIR time is more important than yours. They will apologize but then go to lunch and keep you waiting (yes, this happened to us).

I had to wait two months for an appt. I needed and extraction and the surgeon wanted to do an implant for 1k and then go to my dentist who referred me to get a crown put on the implant. He said he was going to do the extraction that day but he didn’t because it wasn’t worth his time because I didn’t want to and couldn’t afford the implant that day. No one explained any of this to me except before I left and the receptionist explained the procedure. I bit down on a fork and split my tooth and I don’t know why they couldn’t do a cap on the broken tooth. The receptionist was real nice. I couldn’t even understand the tech she was Spanish and had an accent and it was hard hearing her. I recommend going elsewhere.

That place was worst ever I deal with. They called me and said $92 dollars co payment most of my insurance covered extraction. I expected extraction today. They changed their mind and said that $92 for consultant. They wanted molar implant over $2700 or $715 only extraction. I walked out and lost $92 they took my money. because they changed mind and wanted more $$$ out of ur pockets. I called my insurance co. They referred me a different dentist company.

The worst service they make you go in take X-rays and exam your teeth without cleaning them when you schedule a cleaning. Then provide you a list of extra items needed then make you come back for a cleaning. This location does not provide accurate information on your appointment.

Nice staff but very misleading business practices. They do not offer TMJ services despite the website advertising this and me calling and setting up an appointment specifically for TMJ issues.They wouldnt provide a basic cleaning without extra costs citing increased gum height (which is caused by TMJ and not disease).

Be careful about this dentist and the bills they send you. They sent me a bill in the mail for an oral cancer screening a month after my appointment... I called and asked them about it. Turns out they never did it, yet still went to the insurance company to try to get money out of them for it. My insurance company wouldnt pay for this, so they gave the bill to me. I guess to see if I would pay it without questioning it? Makes me wonder how many other people paid for things the dentist never performed...

Terrible place. They do not care about the patients. First time I scheduled the appointment and the doctor had an emergency and left early. I got there on time and they did not offered another dentist. I rescheduled my appointment. I had a problem at work and could not get on time. They called me and I said I am on my way . When I got there they said could not get my appointment.It is really a place does not care if the patients has a pain and need to have an appointment.

My experience here was tremendous. My dentist, Ayesha Ansari, is one of the most professional and polite individuals Ive ever met. She was extremely thorough and efficient in explaining what I would need, why I needed it and how it would benefit me in the future. She provided me with all of the tools required for successful oral health moving forward and her supporting staff are well-trained and courteous.Please treat this staff with the respect and patience they deserve when you visit this location, and I promise you that your experience will be as great as mine.

Absolutely terrible service at this office. Don’t waste your money or time. Don’t put yourself or your family through the experience of getting under trained service where youre going to walk out way worse then the way you came in. They don’t care about their patients let alone quality dental care. Went in with a chipped tooth and was told i needed a crown because the filling would keep falling off (had that filling for 4 years) . they then proceeded to drill my tooth down to a nub leaving almost nothing. They then put a temporary crown on and had to order my crown for the correct fit and color. Lets not mention the terrible quality of this temporary tooth and how it didnt look right and begin to fall apart everyday so i had to use dental wax to fill it in everyday while I waited for my permanent tooth. My permanent finally comes in, and they proceeded to put it on and when done... this tooth is yellow and no where near matches the color of my tooth.. now i get another terrible quality temporary tooth while i wait for the correct color.. 2 months later my permanent crown that I have on chipped just by eating some food. Please dont put yourself through getting terrible dental care, cant even numb a tooth.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST! Avoid the mistake I made and do not even give them a call or book a consultation. They are by far the worst dental office I have ever visited. During my consultation visit, we agreed on a price for my dental work, that price QUADROPULED by the time the work was done. Not only that, but a few months later after paying the FULL price, I got yet ANOTHER bill for $300 because my insurance did not think I needed the work that they suggested I get done. This place will create problems out of thin air just so they can bill you for it, so if you are worried about this happening, do NOT come to this place. They are extremely unprofessional, the front desk people are very rude, and the dental staff could not care less about the patients. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Everyone is pretty nice and friendly. Very clean office and the location is super convenient for me and my family. They also offer a nice alternative insurance program if you dont have any insurance. Theres been a few times throughout my coming here where I havent always been seen on time or in the very beginning being told last minute how much a procedure will cost me, and having to reschedule because of it being too high of a cost at the time. Especially for people that arent so financially sound or stable this can be a bit inconvenient and frustrating. Also, having to reschedule cause they didnt have enough time to see me after scheduling me in and having to take more time off work because of it. Overall though, they are a nice place and when people have good customer service and are nice and friendly and they do an awesome job with our dental cleanings and just caring for our smiles.

Could not verify my dental insurance, misplaced the lengthy forms I had to fill out the day before my appt and then called to cancel the appt an hour before. I can’t rate the dentist because I never got to see them after wasting 9 days.

Definitely get a second opinion before committing to getting any work done at this office. The dentist said my fillings needed to be replaced (second opinion said they don’t). Talk about unnecessary pain/work. The office manager (Crystal, she deserves 5 stars) is one of the nicest people I’ve encountered, and the dental assistant was sweet and moved through the x-rays quickly.

I was not initially excited at the prospect of going to a dental chain, but after having quite a bit of work done, including crowns, I dont know why Id go anywhere else unless I needed something they referred me out for. Needed a quick dentist visit to fix a couple of issues I had procrastinated on and had become critical. Researched many dental offices and many did not take my insurance or were out of my reach. Contacted Sage Dental and they were very accommodating with my visit and Sage takes almost every insurance out there. Who knew? Very polite and courteous and friendly. A positive experience no doubt. Plus affordable, competent and very professional. Definitely, recommend!!

I came to this dentist bc it was supposed to be covered by my insurance. However they make you come every 3 months instead of 6. They run up your bill every visit so you end up paying HUNDREDS of dollars out of pocket even with insurance. They even make you pay for fluoride treatment which is usually voluntary at other practices. Only go here if you can shed an extra thousand dollars cash every year. And thats if your mouth is in good health

I was apprehensive about visiting the dentist during the pandemic but the office is using all of the recommended safety precautions. I felt safe. The staff are friendly & reassuring and I was in and out quickly. Great job!

A very accommodating office. While I was not a regular patient (my dentist longer accepted my insurance) I was having a problem and able to see the endodontist in a timely manner. He was great, explaining everything as he was trying to help me. The staff was also very nice. I did feel they all cared about my well-being. If I lived closer I would definitely continue to go to this office.Also VERY clean, a plus in my book.

I really dont want to put bad review here but they made me to do this way!I do have active dental insurance from Aetna and they are failed to verified more than 3 times ( i had to call them for each time and inform them ) . Beside that they changed my appointmet time from 8am to 11am ( without my permission ).Very bad customer service .Beside that Rebecca is still very helpful and nice person even though with those bad experiences with them.

Ive been to a couple of dentists and always came away miserable. Sage Dental is by far the best, the very best I visited. These Ladies are all warm, kind, and funny. I was not pleased with my appt. I had a tooth break off under a bridge on Mon. They could not get me in until Friday. The receptionist said they would make me feel comfortable after my appt so not to worry. I had to leave work early to get there on time or was told they would not see me. I got there on time and they took me back. I waited 1.5 hrs in the chair with nothing happening. No x-ray, one person said it would be a few minutes an hour after I was there. The dentist came in and told me now I need an 8 unit bridge $6000 instead of a four unit, which I was expecting. They do not do porcelain fused to metal crowns, which are stronger then the porcelain crowns. The porcelain fused to metal are much less expensive for the lab to make but stronger! Nobody took any x-ray of the broken took or recemented my bridge with stronger material then the temp cement I put it back on. I was in the same condition an as I arrived and left to be miserable all weekend. Nothing was done because he ran behind and wanted to leave. The receptionist would not schedule the appt for Monday that the dentist said I could have until the I talk to the office manager, on Monday, who had already left. I work and cannot talk to her first before coming in. Why does she have to tell me the work to be done and not the dentist and have me sign a paper saying I would pay the $6000.

Today was my first visit. First impression was a clean, neat, inviting atmosphere. The gentleman at the reception desk was friendly and helpful. The two young women who attended me were sweet, professional, and knew what they were doing. After the preliminaries were completed, Dr. Tunis checked everything out. Again, professional, personable professional, pleasant. What more could I want. I am not the easiest patient when it comes to the dentist. Better known as “white knuckle” patient, I found myself at ease and relaxed while being worked on. This is the highest praise I can give.

It took 40 minutes before my cleaning started [ boo]. Xray prep and process took less than 10 minutes [ ya]. They always try to charge me for procedures covered under my insurance [grrrr]. You have to stand up to them as they are always trying to make an extra buck! Just say NO!

I went to Sage Dental off of a recommendation from a family member and I am very glad I did. The staff and hygienist were very friendly and efficient. The dentist was great. What impresses me most is her trustworthiness. I felt like I got an honest dental exam. I left my previous dentist because every time I went they said I needed dental work that I suspected was unnecessary. It turns out I was right; I didn’t need fillings and a crown after all. If your current dentist is using you as a human cash register, make the switch and try out Sage Dental. I’m so glad I did and I will recommend them to all my family and friends.

THE FIRST VISIT SHE WENT IN THEY DID 4 FILLING AND ONLY CHARGED HER 6 DOLLARS SO SHE WAS UNDER THE COMSUMPTION THAT SHE WAS ON PAYMENT PLAN AS THEY PROMISED HER. 2ND TIME BACK FOR THE OTHER 4 THEY DID FILLING AND TOLD HER SHE HAD TO PAY $900 TODAY, SHE WAS SHOCKED AND SAID I TOLD YOU I CANT AFFORD THAT UPFRONT!!!! THA LADT TOLD HER SHE HAD NO OPTION AND MADE HER PAY WHICH WAS HER FOOD AND RENT MONEY, THIS PRACTICE SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW, I CALLED TO TAKED TO THEM AND THEY HUNG UP I ME.

I had a great experience at this office. All the staff was amazing and took great care of me. I told them I only had 1 week to basically have all my work done due to losing insurance and they made it a priority to make sure I would get my crown back in time and made sure there was an available appointment. I went in for an appointment today, I waited in my car for over an hour because I was early and already in the area and then of course I waited half an hour in the office and I finally get in the chair and they informed me that I would have to pay $44 for x-rays and for their “personal protection equipment” (AKA face shield)! I said I have insurance that will pay for the x-rays she’s no this is not a regular visit this is an emergency visit. I explained I can’t have a regular visit because I have a bleeding disorder and she said yeah I know. I called before my appointment and asked if I would be charged for anything and I was told no! The trick is they wait till you’re in the chair before they start any work to tell you how much it’s going to cost thinking you won’t have the guts to get up and walk out but I did! I had the money but I wasn’t giving in to their game!

Beware! They said 5 cavities and 2 cracked teeth. Not true! Thank God for second opinion. Saved $5,000

Overall the experience was fine but I was not to happy about being told I would have to comeback another day to have my cleaning done and pay another copay. I went in to get a cleaning but was told the dentist didnt have time to get to me that day even though I was given the appointment for that day and that time to get a cleaning. Now I will need to take more time off of work to hopefully get the cleaning on the next appointment.

Hello, I am really upset I am giving a one star review. I called two weeks ago for an appointment and stated I needed my permanent retainer fixed because a wire became uncemented. They said I’d need a consult and proceeded to ask if I’d like my retainer fixed same day and I said yes. When I got to Sage Dental, whoever I had a consult with started explaining plastic retainers to me and the benefit it will have on my gums. He stated my top gums were fine but in time could cause an issue with having a permanent retainer. I then explain I will eventually be interesting in veneers or lumineers but just came in for my retainer to be fixed. He then proceeded to tell me he would not fix my permanent retainer because it’s a liability and that I would have a hard time finding any dentist that would do it. I found this very rude and quite disrespectful, they said I could have this resolved same day only for me to have nothing resolved. I understand the long term effects but I was already told it could be done and I’ve had it for a few years now. I have had teeth issues my entire life, am expander, tongue thruster, braces, a veneer for a chopped tooth, invisiline, and they wanted to break my jaw multiple times. Saying all that, I was refused a fix and it only will cause my teeth to shift for me to pay more money down the line.On top of all that I also do not drive because of a visual impairment so I had to Uber and waste money to have nothing accomplished. I left sage dental in tears.

Abigail is the very , very best. She is enthusiastic, she explains what she does as she does the procedure. Communication is there. My past Dentist have not done that. The Dental Hygienist was very nice. Also she explained what she did before she did it. Sage Dental is everything. I recommended my mom and sister to them . They are the best. I’ve always had a great experience here! I’ve been a patient for about 2 years now. I always see the same hygienist and she’s able to schedule my next appointment immediately following my current one. The front desk staff is quick and notifies the hygienist when I am in the waiting room. The hygienist takes into account any aches or pains I may be having and modified her cleaning procedure to limit the amount of pain I experience. Everything in the office is done quickly and efficiently and I never leave upset. I’m happy that I found this dentist and am pleased with the service I am delivered!

Love going here, she makes me and my children feel comfortable. As my son and I do not like dentist from past bad Doctors!! The staff have always been nice and the office is really clean!! Sometimes it might take a little to get called but for the most part we get in quickly and out!!!

I was not pleased with my cleaning service today. The hygienist was very hurried; never have I EVER had a full dental cleaning completed in 15mins. She wasn’t thorough and even missed entire sections of teeth. I won’t be coming back again. I wouldn’t recommend that anyone bother with this Sage dental location either. There are far better dentists offices with more passionate considerate hygienists & dentists elsewhere in central Florida.

The worst experience ever ! Everything was dirty and misplace including her plastic mask, They had a new girl that didnt Know where all the materials were at she couldnt take the right images they had me waiting for one hour and 45 minutes after they sat me down Then they say we had the wrong pictures which they wanted to retake them ,Nobody was there to help out the girl , then she started cleaning everything she never sterilised or change anything before sat me down in the 1st place ! I will never go there again and I wont recommend to no one.

The first visit was good I felt like I was going to be treated right so much I payed up front the second visit thats when everything went down hill I was never kept informed they tried to over charge me on a visit that I was told how much it before then I only saw the doctor once after 4 visits and was only told how bad my gums were when I wanted something different.in short I went there to get a new smile and ended up with a $1900 bill because they started the process already but didnt say anything about the 4 days they couldnt start because they broke my molds and waited for my next appointment to tell me I needed to make a new one after my cleaning.now Im stuck with the same messed up mouth and a $1900 bill and have to find a new insurance company cause they only work with sage and a new dentist and a lawyer all for wanting a new smile. This turned out to be the worst experience in my life and it wont end cause these people just want the money and wont fix there mistakes.Up date it is now 10/19/2018 and i still have the same messed up mouth because the wonderful dentist will not refund my money and sent me a letter saying i can pick up the teeth i didnt want at the front desk. Now i read all the nice reviews she got and yet here i am even worse then before because she didnt actually do anything and $1900 less for something i told them i didnt want . from my experience the other reviews are fake i literally did nothing wrong paid up front showed up on time all i did was want a nice smile thats it.

Do yourself a favor and find another dentist. They cannot keep track of services provided or what has been paid or not. Will tell you your insurance covers an opinional procedure only to bill you later for it. Inexperienced dentist will over drill for a cavity causing you to need a root canal. When trying to get a statement of any payments owed they cannot even provide what the balance is for. Had to cancel an appointment 3 times. Their record keeping is atrocious. Worst dentist Ive ever had in my life.

This place tells everyone they need a deep cleaning because its not covered by insurance. They are a bunch of crooks. You wait forever and they send the hygienist into upgrade/up-sale u. They will tell you they cant do The cleaning that day because they want you to pay another co-pay, the service is horrible and these people should be selling real estate or cars. The got me messed up. They should be out of business.

I had an appointment at 9am for a cleaning and exam as a new patient. I arrived at 8:50 and it took 30 minutes to be called back. The woman who checked me in was quite slow at doing so, as she was busy on her computer before acknowledging me. I pushed it to the side and tried to stay optimistic. Once called back the x Ray took about 30 minutes. The tech was pleasant though. It is now 10:13am and Im still waiting for my cleaning now that the Dr has examined my teeth. The hygienist comes in and tells me my 10am appointment is here. Ill see you after him. So this was the final incident that I allowed to happen and I spoke up. The tech apologized and then brought in the office manager who callously said I would just have to wait because the 10am appointment comes first and since my exam took longer than expected Ill have to wait. At that point I was very shocked. How is any of this my fault. Once I let her know that she left and then the Dentist comes in and continues the rant of excuses saying the call center who made your appointment should have told you the exam takes 1 hour and 30 minutes and then we will fit you in for a cleaning after. She even kept repeating, do you understand as if I were lacking comprehension. Now at this point I simply just said, an apology and a bit of empathy would be great and she finally apologized at my request for one. It was honestly the worst experience of customer service at a dental office. No one acknowledged they were at fault. Somehow this was all due too my lack of understanding. So as I sit here at 10:45am, nearly 2 hours after I arrived, Im still waiting for my cleaning. To close, I truly just hope that they learn from this and learn to treat their patients better.Customer service is truly lacking.

Had my consultation today and the whole staff was extremely friendly and patient with me, they made sure to answer all my questions. I have my treatment appointment on Monday and I feel less scared (I’m terrified of the dentist lol)

Worst first patient experience i ever had! Ive never been to the dentist where i was there for over an hour for just X-rays. I asked for the cleaning to be done after my X-rays and the hygienist said well Im about to leave because i usually dont work Wednesdays. There was no clear communication with doctor. Then i was told i cant get just a regular cleaning on my next visit. They are trying to get there moneys worth!

They got me in quickly, everyone was super nice and professional, and I was given a clear, comprehensive treatment plan!

Always had a fear of chain dental offices, but today that fear was put to rest. The office staff was great. Dr. Tubio was awesome and my tech, Tia, superb. Thank you so much. I highly recommend.

Everything went well, but I thought I was getting a cleaning. I just got ex rays and have to go back for cleaning. I know now to ask and make sure.

This was my first visit to Sage Dental of Altamonte and from the moment I got in I filled confortable . With a very polaid welcome and clear intrusions . Very simple but delicate decoration. Ones in to se the dentist I have pease on my inside, the dentist assistant was very cortéis , gave very clear orientation about the proses and instruction for me to follow. The doctor , very friendly and explicit about the work it has to be done and the alternatives . ThankYou, Sage Dental

Completely new location with friendly staff from desk to chair, highly trained/professional. By far the best Sage Dental I have been to and best dental office & personnel since moving to Florida 9 years ago.

This was the WORST new patient appointment I’ve ever had! If I didn’t use my insurance for the X-ray exams I definitely would never go back! The dentist was literally the only exception. The hygienist, hygienist assistant who couldn’t even keep up with the dental hygienist were only concerned about going home and did not hold back about how they felt. The checkout receptionist was very confrontational and not helpful. The star is only for how clean it was

Very friendly and took plenty of time to explain what I asked about.

Needed an adjustment to my new dentures. Both my dentist and my oral surgeon were there to examine me and I felt really cared for. This office has extremely friendly staff and I never dread going to the dentist.

Great staff!! Worked me in same day I called with an emergency. Second appt.just as nice. Staff very patient and understanding . Found my new dentist .😊❤️👍

Dr. Abigail Tubio and ALL her staff are friendly and I had a great experience. I had to get a root canal and crown, so I was scared when I came into her office. I quickly became calm when Dr. Tubio talked to me and handled my tooth with so much care. So, I thought Id leave her and her team a great review. Keep doing what you guys are doing 😁😁
