I changed to Hounsell Dental about seven years ago and have not regretted it. The practice principals is honesty. They never recommend something that is not needed. Always accommodating and efficient. I drive from Dover to Wilmington for my visits, this should tell you of their service, GREAT!!!

I ALWAYS have a great experience here! The staff is polite and the environment is relaxing for what can be an anxiety filled appointment. My hygienist is Deb and she’s great! I had to be on my zoom class during the appointment (thank God for Zoom) and she didn’t complain at all. Shared her schooling experience and she was efficient and fast! Very clean office with a wonderful staff and office. I even bring my daughter who’s 5 and she loves it. ❤️

I switched my whole to Hounsell dental a little over a year ago. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. 2 times I have come in with urgent issues and they have gotten me all taken care of. We love the hygienests. And the best part... The bills are what they say the bills will be. I have never been over charged, or told I had to pay 400$ more than what I was quoted. Highly recommend.

Today was my first visit as a patient of Hounsell Dental and definitely wont be the last. The staff is very courteous, friendly and professional, and my hygienist Diane did a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Hounsell is a wonderful dentist and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking dental services.

I did some search for the dentists around my home, and found this one with decent amount of good reviews. Plus they are in my dental insurance network. Its very efficient to visit my dentist for the first time. We did X-ray and full mouth cleaning. I feel good about my teeth and the fee is acceptable.

My wife and I both had our 6 month cleaning today. Both hygienists did an excellent and professional job. Dr. Hounsell recently made several crowns for me and they fit perfectly and look exactly like my original teeth (well actually better than the originals) Highly recommended

Honest, competent, well run, with a thoughtful, gentle approach/atmosphere. Never had such a great experience with a dentist. My fillings, which occupy a front and center part of my smile, were matched and molded flawlessly. Its really great when you feel youve got a solve for a key thing like finding a dentist. Thats how I feel with Hounsell. Bravo.

Pleasant efficient staff, the office and service areas are clean and well kept. Hygienist was professional gentle, engaging as services were performed. Dr Hounsel gave a great realistic assessment with options for a treatment plan. Not at all pushy, very willing to listen to my concerns and ideas as well. For someone who is dentist shy she is a stress reliever.

Let’s face it - You spend most of the time with your hygienist. Mine is Devi, and she makes the experience transparent, thorough, efficient and as enjoyable as I imagine it could possibly be. Dr. Hounsell is warm and professional, and the reception process was the same. Highly recommend this practice!

Hounsell Dental is the best!!! I developed anxiety about going to the dentist from early childhood. The staff at Hounsell helped relieve that fear. They were so pleasant and their service is exceptional. Dr. Hounsell helped me to relax and she made me feel like I was in good hands.

My first visit was a repair to a front tooth loosing its composite. The dentist at the time, after being there for years, would only cap it. Dr. Hounsell not only got me in quickly but did a great repair. I actually was so impressed that I had my dental insurance changed so that I could switch to her office. The office is clean, the receptionist is on top of her game and my hygienist is great!

I was diagnosed by Mrs. Devi and she is TERRIFIC.She explained everything to me in a very clear manner. She was also kind and friendly. All of the staff was great – they were helpful, patient and I highly recommend becoming her patient!

Dentists and me have not always got along. After a long search, I finally found a good--no, great-- one! Ruth was my hygienist and she was easy to talk with, gentle, and professional. Dr. Hounsell was nice, also easy to talk with, and provided great incite. The icing on the cake was they also didnt attempt to sell me thousands of dollars of potentially unnecessary treatment and products, which I cant say has been my previous experience. Their approach is conservative, which I wish more medical professionals would take. Great dental office!

I was always skeptical going to dentist, but recently I knew about this office. They are very practical and do exactly the needed work, and they will put you in the right direction if you need specialist.Their check in process was very straightforward without overwhelming the patient with tones of forms. I called for an appointment , I provided the needed information, in the appointment date , I got me tooth cleaned, x-rayed and we made the decision of those need root canal and the other need extraction. Thank you Dr. Hounsell. I am looking forward for my next appointment.

My first experience was excellent. They were able to fit my appointment in rather quickly and answer some questions I had about my new Insurance. Filling out my paperwork online was convenient and I was only in the waiting room for 2 minutes before they called me back. Ruth my hygienist worked quickly and was gentle. I saw Dr. Hounsell shortly after my cleaning and was out the door in under an hour.

The receptionist Marybeth is amazing :) She goes above and beyond for the clients. I was scheduled for May 29th, but she called and asked if I could come in today. Great customer service is hard to come by, so I appreciate it when it does. I would most definitely recommend this dentistry.
