Was totally impressed with everything! The waiting area was beautiful and clean and new. I saw the building being built. Was so happy not to have to wait and had the tech and the dr.s undivided attention for my initial consult. No running in and out seeing other patients. Very thorough and treatment plan was in color and easy to understand. I called my husband right after and told him how impressed I was. I hope it’s the same on my next visit! In the last few years that I’ve been living here in wilmington I never feel so confident to visit a dentist like now. My whole family is patient of Cape Fear Smiles, starting with my kid and finishing with my husband. They are always very professional, pleasant and caring. I would recommend this dental office to everyone.

Dr. Cortez and her entire staff were amazing. I was thoroughly impressed with everyone we met throughout the process of our 7 week old’s lip and tongue tie revisions. They all took their time to listen to our concerns, answer questions, and explain the procedure. We left with clear instructions on what to do for aftercare, and signs/symptoms to watch for. I was very nervous going into this but they put my mind at ease. They offer a multidisciplinary approach that addresses the issue of lip and tongue ties from all aspects that need to be addressed. From my understanding, this is a new approach for their practice and they did an amazing job!

Just started coming here as a new patient & even though I have anxietywhen coming to appointments,, they definitely made me feel really comfortable & explained everything. I went into my visit with anxiety and not feeling well. They helped me through all of it. They kept checking on me and made the process as smooth as they could for me! After I was numb, it literally took 5 mins for the extraction and I didn’t feel a single thing. I’m a day after and I’m still in very little pain. The only place I’ll ever go again!!! I cannot recommend this place enough. After 5 years without visiting a dentist, coming here has reminded me of it’s importance, and helped me get my dental hygiene and cosmetic back up to scratch! A recently chipped prompted my visit and after giving me a full checkup, Crystal and Dr. Saraf flagged a number of areas that needed attending to, including a number of fillings, a full clean to rid scales, wisdom teeth removal, in addition to fixing the chipped tooth. After my first visit I was provided a great roadmap for getting everything done. During my second visit Liz, the hygiene specialist, provided a wonderful experience. The care taken, the cleanliness of my teeth after and the advice she gave was just fantastic, not to mention she is a lovely character! Then I was moved over to Crystal and Dr. Saraf to get my fillings done and chipped tooth repaired. Again, the care taken and the quality of the touchups was fantastic. They really showed that teamwork does indeed make the dream work! Then after all is done, Kat at the front desk really closes out the experience wonderfully. The quality of the customer service here really is superb. Excited for my next visit!

From start to finish, a great experience. The check-in process was smooth (even during the COVID time) and my hygienist, Liz, did a great job! Nice to have my teeth in the hands of someone with over 25 years of experience! The fact that they offer the 3D Cone Beam CT dental scan was a big factor for selecting them, as its more accurate at finding issues rather than traditional X-Rays, which they also provide. As a new patient, I would highly recommend giving them a try. Theyll be our go-to dentist from this point forward!

It was very important for us to feel safe still attending our appointments during Covid, and the office exceeded our expectations. We would recommend CFS to any of our friends and family!

Funny that the owner ONLY responds to the 5 star reviews and leaves the people who had problems with the practice out in the cold. Bad ownership leads to bad management, etc. Do better by your patients and try to fix their problems instead of ignoring them.

From my personal experience, theyve called and rescheduled appointments last minute using various reasons. I rescheduled twice and they no longer want to take my business because of constant rescheduling . Laughable! I also have a picture of dead roach In the office. Just saying....

The customer service I have received from Michaela and the staff has been exceptional. They continue to go above and beyond; especially in assisting with insurance matters so late in the year. I feel very grateful for them and the care they have for myself and my family.

Resin fillings were too thick on my front teeth making my bite not settle properly. I had to cancel 2 future appointments, one because i was sick and the other because of a covid exposure and they rsponded by dropping me and my wife and the manager never called us back to work something out and we are still waiting for our records so we can go to someone else. If i could give zero stars i would. They dont care about patients obviously

The doctors are great! But I will not be returning because of issues with the billing department. On my last visit I had a credit balance, then I get a bill, so i called to take care of the bill by using the money from my credit that i already have there and they tell me that I cant do that. Im very upset and confused. I just want my X-rays and any other work that was provided by this place emailed to me asap so I can move on.

Im generally nervous when it comes to going to the dentist, but after experiencing the passion and care the staff gives I no longer worry about going to the dentist. Its truly a different experience then Ive experienced in the past. I have and would definitely recommend Cape Fear dentistry to anybody.

Just moved into town and was looking for local dentists in the area. Cape Fear Smiles is right by my house and decided to give them a try. Have had bad experiences in the past at dental offices that were trying to sell me different levels of service and Were never concerned at all on how much I would need to pay out of pocket. This was a totally different experience where there weren’t service packages, but rather “here’s what needs to be done.” Not only that but they contacted my insurance company and were able to tell me what I would owe out of pocket. A very pleasant experience and if you’re looking for a new dentist or are new to town, I would strongly recommend checking them out.

I did like it but I came in with EXTREME a tooth pain and the only thing they did was an X-ray. They also gave me an Antibiotic but I just took one less than a month ago because I had a root canal done here.

The technology and equipment are up to today’s standards, very clean and Covid-19 safe. They are reasonably price and offer plans for people who do not have insurance. Great experience at this office. I had a very pleasant experience with the office today for a cleaning. I was there a few weeks ago for have a broken tooth addressed where they were very accommodating in getting me seen quickly. I have gotten a dental implant process started and so far have been happy with my experience. I have seen Dr. Cortez for the implant and Dr. Robinson for the broken tooth, both were very nice and took the time to make sure I understood what was going on and what needed to be done. Each staff member that I have interacted with have been overly friendly and genuinely concerned with my comfort. If you have concerns regarding COVID I have not been to a business that has more measures in place to protect both patients and staff. I have referred several people to this practice and wish that I had switched long ago.

Had my first visit today and thought Dr. Naomi and her staff were wonderful. Happy to have found a new dentist after having some bad experiences with my previous dentist.

Everyone is extra cautious about the COVID virus right now. It makes sense and i love the msgs sent out, however its hard to make an appt with anyone based around covid dates. Ive never had any issues so im hoping it will be fine but does not seem to be the case all the time. Dr. Robinson is the best. He truly cares about his patients. He’s one of a kind. Cape fear smiles in Wilmington North Carolina has to be the worst dentist office Ive ever been in and that includes military dentistId like to implore anyone actually looking for a dentist in this area do the research go far away from Cape field they dont even put you in the room by yourself youre in a long line where everybody can see whats going on

I had a cracked tooth today December 23rd. I called around to 12 offices trying to get the tooth removed or at least pain relief until after the holidays. The person who answered the phone was the most polite of all the people I spoke to. I understand everyone is ready for the holiday but people don’t time dental pain to happen to inconvenience anyone. Everyone there was so polite and I got the tooth removed. If you want courteous, quick, positive results call now. The decor is so fresh and relaxing. Looks like a great place to work.
