The best dental experiences I have ever had!ALL of the staff were smiling( even behind the mask, you could tell), lol I am petrified of going to the dentist, just walking in the door is hard to accomplish. But the staff are kind, compassionate and very sympathetic!! They are always attentive and understand my phobias related to horrible past traumatic dental experiences. So if you have a dentist phobia, this is the place to go! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!

One person can make a difference!Had a routine cleaning this past week. My hygienists name was Sarah Winnick.In every way she was amazing...kind, professional, courteous and respectful.But what took the visit over the top was what happened after.Sarah meant to give me a goody bag with a special small toothbrush as I left-but she got caught up.Sarah, realizing what happened, put a toothbrush in the mail to me with a sweet hand written note which I received yesterday!I mean, HELLO?! Who does that kind of stuff these days?!! Thank you Sarah!!Great practice, great people

Dental hygienist Ms. Jennifer is the best because of her I enjoy going to the dentist. Before I was always terrified and hated the dentist. As a new patient to Riccobene, I can say everyone from the woman at the front desk, to our hygienist Jenny and Dr. O were wonderful. They took the time to explain what they were doing and I certainly felt like a person rather than just another patient. I woke up yesterday to excruciating pain in my mouth. I immediately called to make an appointment withthe dentist. They were very accommodating and got me in to see the dentist the very same day. I was very nervous, other than the obvious anxiety builder of going to the dentist, it was also my first time seeing Dr. Steve. As it turns out, Dr. Steve is absolutely AMAZING! It was our very first encounter, but he made me feel like we’d known each other for years. He has been in the practice for 32 years, and it definitely shows. His assistant, Katrina was equally as wonderful! She talked to me as if we have been best friends since elementary school. She is expecting a bouncing, baby boy in October, so feel free to stop by the Monkey Junction location with a baby gift! I could go on and on, singing their praises, but I’ll end with this. Close your eyes, and think of the most important person in your life. Now, think of the type of care you would want them to receive if you were unable to care for them yourself. Got it? My family has been customers for nearly 3 years. I find the overall experience at Riccobene Dentistry at Monkey Junction has been great. The Front Staff and Ladies at Check-out are professional and friendly. The Dental Hygienists and Dentists do a really good work and I’ve noticed some new equipment lately. The entire staff seem to really like their work environment and it shows with their positive attitude and the smiles you receive. My son just got braces and he really doesn’t mind going to Riccobene :)

This dentist office is a blessing. I had woken up on a Saturday morning with the right side of my face swollen and in excruciating pain. Luckily their office was open and they have a great plan for uninsured patients too. Friendly, relaxing atmosphere, and all the employees there are wonderful. Dr. Steve is fantastic. He explained every step thoroughly and he was very patient with me. All of the office staff are so friendly. Im so happy I found this place! Scheduled an appointment last week to discuss looking at getting a skin graft, because my gum has fallen away from a tooth causing it to become exposed. I unfortunately missed that appointment because I was in an accident downtown. I called them and explained what happened, and they were very understanding. Rescheduled my appointment to today July 6th at 11am. I talked to one lady at 8:30am to confirm my appointment. Just got another call from a lady that sounded tired telling me that they dont have Doctors there that can do a graft. She apologized for the late call. I dont see how from last week Tuesday to this week Tuesday, I couldnt have been called before now. So I could maybe find someone else or something to help me with this. She did say that I would need a referral to Doctors that can do a graft. This isnt the first time that they have called me last minute before an appointment.

I love Jennifer. I feel like Ive known her forever. She makes the whole dental experience enjoyable. (If there is such a thing as an enjoyable dental experience.)

I had postponed much needed dental work for several years, after experiencing painful procedures in the past. Recently, I developed a severe toothache, that forced me to seek dental care. I asked friends for recommendations, and I decided to go to Riccobene Associates, who were able to evaluate me the next day. Both the office and clinical staff were very friendly, helpful and supportive. Today I had a root canal that was totally painless! I had been so anxious beforehand, but Dr. Steve Regnier and his dental assistantreassured me throughout the procedure. I was given a treatment plan that will involve alot more appointments, but as long as Dr. Regnier can continue to provide such excellent care to this once fearful patient, he will be my dentist of choice in the future. This was my best experience at the dentistever, and I am 70 years old!

Today’s visit was actually excellent. I forgot the name of my dental assistant but she was possibly the best assistant I’ve ever had work on me. All of the assistants there are great but she just was amazing. Very sweet. Informative with every step she was doing and friendly. I was also in and out today. Fastest ever with this office.

We had a really bad experience and the Riccobene doctor who botched a simple bridge procedure has refused to correct the billing. Over the past 6+ months we have left multiple requests for the owner, Michael Riccobene to contact us. Not a word so far.

Absolutely one of the best experiences we’ve ever had at the dentist. Riccobene has been treating our entire family from general dentistry to orthodontics and with complete professionalism and hospitality. Such a peace of mind knowing all of our dentistry needs are met with the upmost care!!

Dr. O is a great Denist and appears to be very knowledgeable of his profession. I felt completely at ease while he worked on my teeth. In fact I intend to ask for him only to do my dental work.

Absolutely the WORST dentist office I have ever been to. My husband is sitting here with an abscessed tooth, was told that they would call in medication for him but didn’t. We called the after hours dentist who told him there was nothing to be done to go the the Urgent Care. I am completely astonished. This place will charge you an arm and a leg for every thing you get done there and then turn a blind eye when you need help. They treat every patient like a drug seeker when they have legitimate pain. I am an ER nurse and this type of behavior is sadly prominent in the medical field, including dentists. How sad that these places treat people in such a way. Do NOT come here if you are looking for a dentist that will actually care about you and your unique situation. I will make sure to spread the word around town about how poorly they treat their patients.

Great experience from start to finish! From the time I was greeted when I walked in, to my hygienist, to the actual dentist EVERYONE was truly amazing and friendly and I felt so comfortable. I was 10 minutes late for the first time but they were still happy to see me and took me in almost immediately. I was given an opportunity to discuss the retainer, one vs two. They explained in detail how the new x-ray can be used to make the retainers so they fit perfectly. I have an appointment to have my braces removed but if the retainer comes in sooner, they will rebook my appointment at an earlier time.

The best part about Riccobene is the compassion the staff has for you. This was my first visit to the monkey junction office and it was so nice. Highly recommended!

I had my first root canal the other day, and Dr. DuRant was amazing! It takes a lot to get me completely numb, and she was patient with me and extremely gentle when she gave me the shots in my mouth. She honestly gives the best shots that I have ever had at any dentist! She went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely numb. They treated me exceptionally well, and with it being my first root canal I didnt know what to expect. Dr. DuRant really knows her stuff, and I am extremely pleased with the procedure thus far. I go back Friday for the crown, and I can honestly say I am looking forward to it!

I would recommend any of my family to this office. I dont know how to say it, except theyre all awesome, they make sure youre comfortable. They are very very patient. I admit I was dreading my visit to have a crown replaced that was damaged. The staff and Stephen set me at ease very quickly with their professionalism and Stephens enjoyable sense of humor. All went well and surprisingly with no pain at all including injections in my mouth.

When I went to the Porters Neck location I had no issues. The Carolina Beach location is a different story. The dental assistant was dropping tools on my chest, scooting closer to me she pulled my hair, choked on the water and she blamed me, and finally I got up and left when she got an attitude about me taking a break after 2.5 hours in the chair. I paid my bill and asked to not have her again and they asked my name???

I had a excellent experience from the time I entered the office, the dentist chair and check out. I was dealing with some tooth sensitivity from a crown. The assistant and Dr. Steve fixed the issue and we discussed my next appointment and follow-up. All went well. A clean, professional, and pleasent environment!

Deceptive practice, treated poorly by the front staff, walked out, will not return. Staff will hound you about Covid symptoms while taking zero precautions themselves. Would rate 0 stars if able.

First visit and screening, went well. Saved up and returned for treatment plan and had an excellent hygenist for my deep cleaning. However, I made them aware that I had an abcess. This was also visible during my initial exam.It was not addressed. Almost 3 weeks later without a follow up visit scheduled because theyre so busy. I could get sick behind the abcess and I am still waiting for a manager, to return my call. I just wamt my xrays and I will call my daughters dentist. Terrible ending to a stressful ordeal. They dont care about their paying, patients...and I paid, cash for this kind of treatment!

I have always hated going to.the Dentist, even the cleanings were often painful and made me dread going in. Today I met Jenn who told me she was going to take care of me today and I have to say, I actually enjoyed my visit with her. We talked about family and many other things and she not only put me totally at ease but was very professional and compassionate at the same time. I would recommend her to anyone! Thank you Jenn!

Love the orthodontic team here. Ive been on my orthodontic journey for a few years now and can definitely say it has changed for the better under new ownership. Front desk staff are always so nice and accommodating and appointments start promptly without you sitting in the waiting area for more than a few minutes. I waited for my second visit before submitting a review. I am very pleased with themonkey junction office. Everyone is very pleasant and personable from the doctors to the lay staff. The doctors were very thorough. Explained procedures and paid great attention to detail. I will go back formy permanent crown and know I will bePleased. The temporary feels like a permanent. Perfect fit. One important detail is I got an email from the office asking if I would like to give a review. The office has no idea what my review will be like. I know other dentists office haveasked for reviews enticing you with an entry into a monthly drawing for a prize. It appears Riccobene’s is looking for honest reviews.

My experience yesterday was excellent!The office was 100% following the guidelines for safety from the Carona-19 virus. Upon entering the chairs were 6 ft apart, everyone was wearing masks, each door entrance was covered by plastic, even the toys were being cleaned by a machine. The best was my hygienist. Not only did she put a clean smile on my face but she also gave me great healthy recipes.Love the billing. Makes dentistry affordable.

I went in today to have a filling replaced. The staff was very friendly and professional and made the visitsmooth and comfortable. The dentist I saw todaywas Dr. Okeke and he was amazing. I would recommend him to everyone! His assistant today was Latifah and she was professional and personable. She and Dr Okeke make a perfect team. All in all, my experience today at Riccobene was highly satisfying.

The office was incredibly clean and they had chairs set up for distancing, certain offices with plastic coverings that had zippers down the front to close entire rooms or sections off, and plastic shields to protect the employees and patients. My dental hygienist Amanda H was fantastic! She has a great personality, made sure that I was comfortable and explained everything that she was doing. The checkout process was easy and quick. I went to 2 other dentist to get a tooth checked out (granted its the day before thanksgiving but I was told that it would be a atleast a week to be seen from the other dentist) I went to Riccobene on the way home to see what they could do at first the lady up front told me they were booked for the day. I told her the pain that I was having and said she would go talk to the Dr, they were willing to stay longer just to squeeze me in so that I could be comfortable during the holiday weekend. They showed me a lot with the simple genuine jester.
