The woman at the front desk is very rude and acts like we are bugging her when coming in for appointment. Today my husband went in to drop off the stuff from my at home sleep study, she said to him why are you giving it to me, he was like this is where I was directed to drop it off at. If she doesnt like her job or show a little bit of comment courtesy she should find a new job. On a positive note my doctor has been great.

I had a great experience with the providers and other staff, but Kayla in billing is very argumentive. I received a bill for cash pay when I have insurance. Called my insurance company and they stated that it was processed incorrectly. When I called Kayla back to tell her what happened she was again argumentive. I wont be going back here because I really didnt feel that it was respectful how I was treated when I was just trying to tell them what my insurance company told me to do. I was also just letting them know for the future that they claim was put in incorrectly. So much for trying to be helpful.

I dont normally use Google much and I think this is a older account I logged into. But I wanted to share a great experience Ive had with this company.I am a new patient to Pulmonary and Sleep Consultants of Kansas. My first impressions are very good, and I do not understand the negative reviews at all on any level. I have been to many doctors over several years due to multiple health issues I have, and these are some of the nicest people I have ever met in the medical industry. The facilities are all very modern and nice as well. My first appointment from the staff at the front desk, to the nurse, to the doctor...all were very nice people and a pleasure to deal with. But its not just how nice they were, as they are also knowledgeable in their jobs as well. And that is the ultimate combination having nice people, who are also competent at what they do.Yesterday I did a follow up appointment for a CT scan at the imaging department across from the main center, and they were just as nice over there too. In fact the nurse who did the CT scan on me was super nice, and made me feel at home.Again, the negative reviews are the polar opposite of the outstanding experience I have had with these fantastic people. The doctors here are great. Tara is AMAZING! Most of the staff is good at best, though there are many that just dont seem to care about actually helping. The most aggravating is that the phone system they use doesnt give you an option to talk to anyone for general questions and just leads you around in circles. When you do finally get to someone, they dont seem to care to help or providing anything additional to just picking up the phone and giving yes/no answers. They also dont provide the link to their portal in the emails they send to let you know that you need to check the patient portal, so you have to go out and find where to log in, which has been a complication of its own. I dont have to visit/communicate with this business often because Im a low-needs patient but when I do need to ask questions, it is the most infuriating thing ever. Sometimes it just seems the positive doesnt outweigh the negative.

I was nervous going in, being that it was my first time doing this. I was so relieved that I had Nakia there to make the experience as pleasant as possible. She walked me through the entire experience beforehand and assisted with completing paperwork in an incredibly professional manner which eased much of the anxiety I was experiencing. Definitely ask for her!

I would highly recommend you try this office if you or your doctor are looking for a professional setting that sets you at ease from the moment you step into the door through the checkout process as you leave. Everyone I came in contact with was professional, focused on what brought me in and possible treatment options, and everything was explained in such a way I did not feel pressured or uncertain about the plan we put together.Again, I highly recommend Pulmonary and Sleep Consultants of Kansas! The commitment she has to help her patients has directly impacted my quality of life with a level of care I receive that goes above and beyond. Both in office and out. They have been very instrumental in helping navigate the communication between insurance companies and specialty pharmacies to provide me with the best care possible.

The staff at PSCK are amazing! I am always greeted with a friendly smile as soon as I walk in the door. Dr Rachel always takes the time to answer all of my questions and her nurse Nikia is so personable, kind, and empathetic. I never have issues feeling heard and I’m always left feeling at ease. I’d recommend this place to EVERYONE!

For years, I haves seen Dr. Bloxham who retired last year.He was great at listening and explaining anything asked however, now that he is gone, it seems the location has went down hill.I got an automated call saying that my appointment was canceled months ahead and their website either doesn’t load at, all or doesn’t let you make an account ( for starts ).Their phone line goes to a never ending 0 person waiting line and then goes to a fake link if you try to leave a message and hangs up.I guess I need to switch completely 🤷‍♂️.Have had issues over the years with them also not sending supply prescription / refills as well.

Very horrible experience here over over again. Poor communication and no empathy for their patients. Found Staff schedulers,nurses who are extremely rude you cant even get into see your doctor when you are having health issues even during and after Covid 19. Run like HELL AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THEY DONT GIVE A DAMN.

I was very disappointed with services offered by Dr Salloum. My regular doctor retired and I followed his PA over to the Pulmonary and Sleep Consultants. I was charged 457.00 as a new patient. My appointment consisted of a 6 minute teleconference where the Dr looked only at my chart to see that I am not having any issues. He did not make eye contact with me at all. My machine was never checked since I was told not to come into the office. He noted to have the RT call me that day for supplies. That was not done nor was I contacted to set a yearly appointment. Very poor time spent for 75 $ a minute. When I called about the bill, the only answer I received was how valuable his time was. I guess he included the hour and a half wait I had for him to call. My appointment was at 930, his office asked to move it up but he finally called me at 1100. Being in healthcare myself, I expect better service!

I was so worried going here after reading the other negative reviews and seeing it rated so low. My appointment was with Dr. El Zein and even the office experience was pleasant. As far as billing, I was self pay as I had no insurance yet and you just have to make sure you tell them up front and theyll tell you exactly what would cost what if you ask. The consultation fee was $155 and I had even been possibly difficult with my many calls beforehand to gather information and they were always nice and, like Dr. El Zein, listened and answered all my questions and concerns. After determining my problems were likely not sleep apnea, he gave suggestions and recommendations and let me decide if I wanted a sleep study now, later, or never in the end. I wanted to leave this review for anyone like me, that might be nervous about going here. It was very well run and a reassuring experience. I havent felt like a doctor actually cared for me like that in a while. If they read this, I want to say thank you for that.

I hope you are never really sick and trying to get help from them. Ive waited for two days to receive a call back. Once it was from a voice mail the second day I spoke to a person. They obviously do not care if you are in distress. I guess Im headed for the emergency room since my doctor of 4 years is not interested err ested inhaling me

Dr. Harting and her support staff are amazing at their jobs. They are all very professional, yet friendly, and do a great job of explaining things in a way that is easy to understand. They also spent extra time, without me asking, in order to make sure I fully understood every thing that I needed to know.

I WILL NOT ever use this group again!,I paid for my office visit and a month later recieved another bill for almost 500.00,come to find out they never got a referral before my visit and never said anything to me,so I went to my visit and now getting fully charged Ive called numerous times and left messages and no one will call me back,check my mail today and now they sent it to collecting agent,I hope you all do read these ans when you do call me,Ive left my number there please ty of times

Had to call not once but twice after my appointment to have my prescription sent to my pharmacy. They forgot, - twice.- It took two weeks to accomplish something that could have been done in an afternoon. Then get caught with a no show fee after I executed orders and moved 20hrs away.

I had to call multiple times after my visit to get my CPAP adjusted before the appointment was arranged. After the adjustment no improvement I was told my internal clock was off. No help, no. scripts, come back in a year. Waste of time. I still cannot wake up in the morning.

Edited 1-14-19: Evidently the Dr reads these and has made revisions to the business. Next appt a month after CPAP the Dr is in the room 3 minutes after the nurse leaves from taking vitals. He is extremely organized, forthright and covers everything in a matter of minutes. Ive changed my review to 3 stars.

I love Dr. Steinshower, but if you go to this office, be very aware of their billing practices!!!! I was 100% paid, and SIX months later, I get a bill for 50.00! I called them, and was told that it was for a co-pay. I said that I am very careful to pay my co-pay at all of my visits, and was not made aware of any unpaid balance. She looked into it further, and said that my co-pay was used to pay a part of my balance due?!?! What? I asked her what then did it go toward? She could not answer that question, but offered to send me a statement. She also transferred me to the office manager. Well, great...I get her machine! SO, I left her a message. I never got a call back! When I got the statement, I looked it over and could not see where the 50.00 was used, or what it went toward. I looked on all of my bank statements, and wrote the date, amount I paid, and sent it back with a letter. Today, in my email, I received this back from them: Your health insurance has paid their part of the cost for your medical care from Pulmonary & Sleep Consultants KS. The balance thats left is your responsibility. Please view your statement and make a payment today. So, no courtesy of a phone call, and nothing I said in the letter was addressed! Because I deserve to know what the 50.00 went toward; and I am not hearing back from them, I will be contacting the Insurance Commissioners office today. If you go to this office, be very sure when you make your co-payment that you specify it is only to be used for your co-pay! Watch your EOBs carefully, and make sure you know what you are being charged for. I still have no answers. some may say its only 50.00, just pay it. Its the principal of the thing. I want to know what happened six months ago that I did not know I had a balance, and exactly what I owe the 50.00 for. The fact that I did not even get a call back from the office manager, or a letter is very disturbing to me. I feel like they are not backing up their request for me to pay them more. That is not good business practice, so be aware.

I had a sleep study done in 2017. I had met my deductibles and out of pocket expenses for the year completely by June 2017. I have received two bills for an amount that cant be located on the statements I receive. I attempted to call the billing department and keep getting an automated response stating The Mail Box Is Full. There is no contact info on the bill except an address in Maine.

I have had a great experience so far with Dr Steinshouer. She was very thorough with her questioning and finally somebody seemed to understand they craziness I experience with my odd sleep issues. She had initial thoughts on what was going on but wanted to do a sleep study just to be sure nothing more serious was also going on. She explained that a home study would not give her the information she needed but often insurance requires it first before approving the clinic study. Thankfully my insurance approved the clinic study right away. Neither of us suspected any kind of sleep apnea issues but it turns out I do have some mild apnea. Some other providers wouldnt even diagnose it this low but I appreciate her thoroughness. I also like that I was given these results less than a week after my study, before Ive even had my follow up! I assumed Id have to wait the month for my follow up appointment.

The office is highly unorganized. The messaging and documentation is such that covers their tail and far from accurate. I will travel to Oklahoma City or Kansas City prior to tolerating more of their inadequate professional services. The lowest rating on healthcare service that Ive seen in the country.RN criticizes the 3rd party service, Lincaire, and claims they are terrible. No accountability. Why use a 3rd party if they are an extension of your business.
