I had a great experience here... no idea why there are negative reviews. Ultrasound tech and doctor and nurse were very considerate and courteous.

I had an amazing experience at this practice. The doctor who saw me is now retired, Dr. Sloan, but he was honestly the kindest doctor Ive ever met. He listened carefully to me, took time to explain everything carefully, and didnt seem rushed like many doctors do to get to the next appointment. He put me at such ease during such a difficult time when I was worried about my pregnancy. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

This was a horrifying experience. I would not recommend anyone in the Tampa Bay Area to visit this practice for ANY service. Trisha and Lisa (front desk staff) have vile patient care. I scheduled an appointment 3 months prior to arrive on my appointment day that I could not be seen due to their computers crashing and the next day called that I cannot be rescheduled. I can assure you these offices do not value your time, or fetal health. Chances are you already have something to worry about when visiting this practice, & trust me their moral will make it a whole lot worse! Again! I cannot stress it enough. DO NOT COME HERE.

I was honestly afraid to go to this location at first due to all the bad reviews, but I can honestly say I had the BEST experience from the moment I walked in, my whole visit, and check out! The ultrasound tech was also the best! I never ever leave reviews but for them I just had to. I had a great experience! I was extremely stressing the fact that I was considered high risk for my pregnancy, but they thoroughly explained to me their care plan for me and baby. I feel like I am in great hands!

The bad reviews had me a bit worried when I was referred here for a Level 2 ultrasound. Long story short: the negative reviews were thankfully not representative of my experience, which was just fine.My visit was overall pleasant, if a bit long (not the fault of the clinic, but rather baby wouldnt cooperate for the ultrasound). In particular, I was very pleased with Dr. Stirling, who was patient, attentive, and thorough in her explanations and her responses to my questions. She didnt seem like she was trying to rush the visit, as is often the case with doctors.Other reviews are correct that they ask you to arrive 30 minutes early and, for an ultrasound, to have a full bladder when you arrive. However, the instructions they send tell you to drink 8 oz 15 minutes before arrival. I did exactly this -- about 20 minutes before arriving, I used the restroom and then drank 8 oz -- and both my comfort and the ultrasound clarity were fine. (Incidentally, nobody ever asked me if I had full bladder. They even let me break to use the bathroom halfway through the ultrasound, during an intermission where we were hoping baby would move to a different position to facilitate imaging.)In summary, if youre coming here, you probably already have a reason youre anxious, so try not to worry about the care youll receive here. Based on my experience, staff are competent and respectful.

There are no words to describe how amazing the Doctors are at Fl Perinatal. My angels on earth, who supported me through a very difficult pregnancy. Their staff is friendly, caring and knowledgeable. I knew my babies lives and my own care were in the very best of hands. Thank you for all you do.

Visit the Bruce B. Down office at 20 weeks. Awful experience with Front Desk. The receptionist customer services skill are the worst Ive ever experienced. My appointment was for 9AM. I arrived at 8:45AM, approach the front desk, say good morning, I have an appointment at 9 am, and her answer was, You arrive late to your appointment, you were suppose to be here at 8:30, did you bring your paperwork filled outI do not have a printer, and I could not print them” Eventually, that made her upset and told me You are gonna be 15 mins behindThat really made feel bad, unwelcome and upset. This is not the way a pregnant customer is welcome into any doctors office, and if there anything they want to say to their patients; it should be said politely. I work directly with patients and under no circumstance any patient is treated this way. If I was welcomed this way, I do not want to know how the others health care member would have treated me. They may have excellent OB doctors in the office, but they need to work in their customer service skills because this is what give you the first impression.Beside the front desk manner, office needs lot of update, only a few chairs in the lobby for patients to sit, not a nice office overall.

How do I even begin to describe the incredible manner in which Dr. Angel works? Kindness and thoroughness are the best ways I can do that.We are currently working through a difficult, potentially fatal diagnosis in our unborn child. Dr. Angel spelled out our options; one of those options being that we act aggressively. When my husband and I chose to act, Dr. Angel wasted no time in referring us to a fetal surgeon to assess our procedural options. I have not yet made it to that appointment.I am not certain of our babys future, but one thing of which I am certain is the compassion this doctor has displayed from the moment I met him. He made it very clear that although he may not show his emotions outwardly when explaining what is going on, it did not mean that he did not feel emotions about our circumstance. He was upfront about his need to remain calm and and with a neutral affect in order to most clearly explain the circumstances and our options. He allows his patients to be part of the decision making process and then goes full on to support their decision. I appreciate that so much. I am fully aware that I have to be my own biggest advocate when it comes to my medical decisions. However, due to the novelty of this situation, it is difficult to advocate for myself when there is so much unknown. The wonderful thing about Dr. Angel is that he does not leave you in the dark. He explains as much as he can without being too technical or belittling; he strikes a perfect balance. He also makes time for any questions you may have. I know I must have asked questions that he already answered (with so much going on, it can be hard to retain everything youre hearing), but he answered them and re-answered with no hesitation.I honestly began to wonder, Does he have any other patients? I am not sure how it is possible for him to be so busy yet make us feel like we are his top priority.I have a colleague whose friend had to see a different physician at Florida Perinatal Associates (FPA) and she said they could not have been better. So it seems as though FPA requires a certain standard of care; I think that should be a comfort to anyone referred to them.Lets not forget the staff. Kathy was so wonderful. Her job was to conduct my ultrasound, however there were times she just popped her head in the door to check on me while I was waiting for the doctor. She definitely didnt have to do that. I think she knew how hard it was for me to receive such difficult news about my baby and not be able to have my husband with me in person (due to COVID-19).

This office is great. I have been twice and had minimal wait time. Sometimes they have an emergency( it is a high risk clinic) and others have to wait. Doctors and staff are courteous and professional. I had no issues scheduling an appointment. If you are sending records, make sure to send them early and call to make sure that they are entered into the system before the day of your apt. Ive been to several different providers. I prefer this group. Timing of test results can vary and is often due to the lab. Call if your results are not in on day expected.

Dr. Giraldo is an excellent MFM. She values her patient’s needs. Take time to explain condition, excellent bedside manner. She has helped me tremendously in my pregnancy journey. My favorite ultrasound tech is Becky. She knows what she does, very pleasant. She tried to show us good baby pics even if our baby wasn’t cooperating so well. I really admire her patience. I love all the staff here. Looking forward to come back for my next pregnancy.

Excessive wait times in office, cold office staff, and they scheduled us for an ultrasound only to be told it was too early and had us come back (at our expense naturally). The doctor was an alarmist and scared my wife telling her all of the things that can possibly go wrong (despite her not showing signs of any of those issues). And, of course, they have big corporate billing practices that are extremely sketchy bordering on unethical/illegal as theyve held on to overpayment on our account for a month and a half despite a refund being asked for several times. They keep telling us its in a hold status.Just dont waste your time or money going to this group.

My husband and I took half day of work to go to my app and because of the rain and parking lot completely packed I was 25 min late so their not nice front desk supervisor told me to reschedule. I told her I would sit and wait all day if I had to but she didnt care and said no. One of the Drs had a family emergency and was late BUT the patients CANT be 1 min late. Not going back there. Finding another place to give my $.My 1 star goes for the staff that saw me the 1st time but the clinic should replace the front desk supervisor.... she is AWFUL

Awful, when dealing with the little older lady behind the front desk I cant recall her name, maybe lisa. Unfriendly and unprofessional. To be honest it made me uncomfortable to go there knowing I was pregnant and to have one who is dressed like she was going to the club...I would hope the manager would tell her that she was dressed inappropriate. Office staff really makes or breaks the practice. I have to say when dealing with the scheduler tammy she was the most helpful one out of everyone!! They need more people like her. NEED MORE PROFESSIONAL FRONT OFFICE STAFF

Surprized at some of the reviews. As a frequent flyer in this office, I have never received anything less than superior service. I have never waited more than 15 minutes. Dr. Kalter and Dr. Angel really care about their patient and it shows.

Rude staff and front desk assistant. Also, I had a 9am appointment for the office and apparently if you dont show up 30 minutes for your appointment they wont see you. Waste of time. Avoid thos place. Also, the woman Tami that answers their calls is extremely rude and abrupt with patients.

Worst place to go. I’ve been there for my first and 2 nd pregnancy, they forgot me and I was waiting for an hour until I ask. Each time I go there on time they make me wait 45 to 1 hour. All the time!!!! Administration at the front desk are like robots, no emotions no interaction with patients no eye contact. And to find a parking is a nightmare!

I have been sitting here for an hour and 15 minutes and havent even been seen yet. I dont understand why doctor offices insist on you being 15 minutes early for your appointment and then make you wait over an hour to see you. To make matters worse, you have to have a full bladder for a Level 2 ultrasound. How do they expect you to sit with a full bladder for well over an hour!
