After a work-related accident in May, 2018; I was finally referred to a Physician in January 2019. During this initial visit, 14 injuries were documented. Because evaluation/treatment had been delayed, a Physiatrist was also put in the mix. The approval and the highly anticipated appointment to see Dr. Patterson wasnt received and scheduled until June , 2019.On the day of the appointment, upon my arrival, I was told they had just moments prior had a chance to contact my Adjuster as they had no information for my file. I was further told that when she did return their call, they were unavailable so my appointment had been cancelled.Over 5 weeks later, I was finally re-scheduled. The morning before the appointment, I was called and told to be there three and one-half hours earlier as Dr. Patterson remembered he had to do something and had to leave the office by no later than 45 minutes after my arrival. Upon his entering the examining room, the first words out of his mouth were, Im only authorized to see you for one body part. I corrected him and told him, The authorization should have been for 4 separate and distinct injuries/body parts. He simply shrugged and said, It is what it is! He continued by stating, With all this PT you have going on, and all these other Doctors, I really dont even know why youre here.He did a quick examination and then said, I really dont see any need to examine you again, just keep up with all your other Dr.s and your P.T. Upon checking-out at the front desk, I was given nothing when I left his office. I was told it would be forthcoming because he takes notes with a pencil. Ten days after the appointment, I was still trying to get a copy of the paperwork to send to my attorney. The documentation arrived in my e-mail, two days after leaving my 3rd voicemail message and to say the least, was inconsistent and negligent from a Workers Compensation lawfulness standpoint! In one section, the correlation was undetermined and then another section had 3 boxes checked, yes, associating the injuries directly with the work-related accident. With all this being said, at the same time however, Dr. Pattersons recommendation was, whatever is advised by other Physicians providing treatment. The report further continued by stating that it was highly unlikely that the injuries and accident were related and that I needed Interdisciplinary rehabilitation and management as there was a poor correlation between patient complaints and objective/relevant findings which indicated both somatic and non-somatic clinical factors. To say that this Dr (?) is the most unprofessional, uncaring and unlawful/negligent individual with whom I have ever had an examination would be a gross understatement. I was not looking for his approval or validation OF ANY KIND! I was looking for pain management! The aforementioned had been received months previous. If asked for my advice, I would simply say, STAY FAR, FAR AWAY! With his lack of professional etiquette and a rude and incompetent staff as well, perhaps they should ALL review the Hippocratic oath taken when agreeing to uphold it while providing medical care.In all honesty, I dont even think this would make a difference. You cant make someone care if they just dont have it in them! It simply, IS WHAT IT IS!

Please Do NOT seek any care here. There is NONE to be found, I assure you. No flexibility or consideration. These are not the kind of people to place trust in when you need actual care. My husband had an appointment today but it was far from home and pouring down rain, so he was caught in tampa traffic. We dont live there, so he couldnt account for the delay knowingly. He could barely see through the windshield and was panicking about the time and with so many cars blocking him, he had to call to let them know that he was running just a tad late due to very obvious and rather dangerous traveling conditions. The nurse at first told him nothing. Not okay, not lets reschedule, just vague rude responses like well I dont know where you are and We run a very timely office. So I called them for him, thinking I could get some clarity, because no one is THAT rude or unsympathetic and impatient for no reason... and sure enough, the same woman told me the same things and to tell him to just turn right around and go home. After hed travelled all that way... She said he could be two minutes late but not three. Really?? There was more disrespect and carelessness in her tone than any care giver I had ever encountered! I wish i had seen the reviews sooner. This woman was so rude and unnecessarily hateful. She acted extremely snobbish, bothered, and inconsiderate. We refuse to be treated like insignificant inconveniences to your staff.

My husband is going through workers comp and was sent here. We tried not to let the dilapidated building discourage us but the arrived at 10:30am for a 10:45 appointment, filled out paperwork and waited until after 11am to be called back. Then they would not let me (his wife) back in the exam room. My husband is on medication that makes him feel drunk. I have all the doctor notes and dates and most importantly my husband (The patient) requested that I be in the room. The staff was very nasty about all this and kept iterating that it is office policy to only have the patient in the back. My husband wanted to make a phone call before going back alone to make sure this was on the up and up and was told that if it took too long he would miss his appointment. To which I replied, Then you should have told us when we got here and not now, over 30min later! This place is very shady! The signs in the waiting room are misspelled and the posters look ancient and yellowed. AVOID THIS PLACE!

My personal experience with Dr. James Patterson was very upsetting. No physical assessment was completed nor did he not take time to listen to my concerns. He only asked if I was having pain and I was taking my medicines. He informed me that I could lose my job if I was on light duty for extended time. The appointment only lasted 5 min.Dr. Patterson was unprofessional, unethical and rude. I would not recommend him to anyone, not even my worst enemy
