BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYWHERE!!!! I had the very best experience yesterday here. I came in with some unique needs and Elvie came up with a creative solution that seemed impossible to pull off. In addition, I left with glasses in under an hour (I had Rx with me). Elvie was thoughtful, courteous, a consummate professional and so patient with my many (and I mean MANY) questions re insurance. Also, the receptionist was also very helpful and pleasant at my lack of finding location (HINT - it is by Jewel and NOT actually on Central St. Someone else took extra time to seek out a samsung charger when my phone went dead. To top it off, after leaving, another person looked through the parking lot to find me bc I left my phone in the store. Great COVID standards too. THANK YOU ELVIE AND EVERYONE AT PEARLE VISION!!!!!

They did a very detailed eye exam!The young Lady who helped me pick out the frames was very patient and kind! Great advice and thoughtful conversation with her! I was nervous about getting new glasses but decided to go because it was time. I’m so glad I did- it was the best experience and Elvie (the amazing manager) and the other amazing staff are to thank for this. The staff and their dedication to making the customer feel welcome, supported, listened to throughout the whole process of getting a new a pair of glasses is what makes this location truly special. I have never felt more listened to and care for at a glasses place. I went on Saturdays both days I went were extremely busy however they always were patient with me and made time to address my concerns. This is now my new go to for glasses! One arm of my glasses cracked and broke off; I had these glasses (from Pearle) for many years. Elvira showed me that my lenses would fit in another frame by the same manufacturer and immediately had her technician put the lenses in the new frames. The store was extremely busy but I felt I was their ONLY priority. I have received my eye exams and glasses from this location for years and they are absolutely EXCELLENT!!

Receptionists were nice, but overall my experience here was not that pleasant. I felt like the doctor was not friendly toward non English native speakers. I will not go back to this place ever for my contact lenses or glasses.

Everyone was friendly and courteous. Tho I do have a complaint. Last year they gave me a choice of 3 lenses for my new glasses: just readers, OR just for distance OR bifocals. I have had bifocals before and did not like them! This time they did not give me a choice and would only give me bifocals. I think as a customer, I should be given a choice just like last year-not forced to take what I dont want!

Really bad experience. They won’t email your prescription to you. They text, call, and try to FaceTime you at 7pm. Found out they never placed my contact lenses order after I waited two weeks and they blamed it on someone new. Can’t contact corporate because these are individually owned. I would go somewhere else and avoid this place at all costs.

My eye exam was fine but my representative Sara was friendly and gave excellent care.

Awesome experience. Im 28 and noticed issues seeing over the last few months. The doctor was nice and the exam was quick. Sarah who helped pick out my glasses was spot on with the style and really knows how to pick the right glasses. Sarah also was awesome with handling the insurance and even though they were out of network they honored my in network benefits. Highly recommend.

If you go to this store, you will be well taken care of! I brought my 86 yo mom in on a busy Saturday and Elvi (THE BEST MANAGER I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED) couldnt have been nicer. The optometrist was also very professional however so much of what makes or breaks a visit is the staff and they are terrific! Attentive to customers and really engaged in making the experience a smooth one. Excellent, we will be back.

After a lifelong perfect vision I had to succumb to the realisation that I needed glasses! I went to this store based on my friend’s recommendations and this was the best advice. The stuff was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable. There were no delays in getting my exam. Elvi helped me with the frames and made sure my prescription was adjusted based on how I “use my eyes”. Additionally they are very much so Covid-19 complaint - everyone wears good masks, disinfectants everywhere, all equipment, including frames, is cleaned and disinfected before and after each customer, very few customers in the store at any given time. In summary, i had a great experience, love my new glasses and will be back for any of my vision needs.

I called day of for eye exam after my dog chewed up my glasses. They did a great job with the exam and no hassle working with my insurance. Elvie gave me the best advice on frames! I have been wearing glasses for 40 year and I got the best looking frames ever in about 10 minutes. I left with 2 pair of great looking glasses and a year of contacts 1.5 hours after walking in.

Pearle Vision in Village Crossing gets 5 stars from me! The entire staff was very knowledgeable and professional. A special thanks to Elvi for her patience in dealing with me. When it comes to getting new eyeglasses I can be difficult to deal with but she kept her cool! They may not want to hear this but I will definitely be returning for my next pair! Dr. Katz was warm and helpful. I wish I could remember her name, maybe Sophie? Anywho, there is a fabulous stylist who helped me pick out the perfect glasses and made that process fun. I got in and out fast and got my glasses after 30 minutes. Awesome people.

My bifocal glasses cracked inside my lenses during vacation. I couldnt see clearly for three days. My friend recommended Pearle Vision so I went there. They answered my questions professionally and were very helpful. They also made the new pair really quickly so that I could wear it as soon as possible. Dont know where to begin but where I do is start off saying the attention and depth of my eye exam regarding the complexity of my visual situation was above par compared to other eye doctors and exams costing 5 times more. The service here among the staff was equally highly attentive and caring beyond any expectations of a chain location. You will he a fool to go elsewhere and expect the same care. I wont forget the level of service received here and plan to go here for as long as Im breathing and in need of eye care. Thank you sincerely staff members, you went above and beyond!

Dont give perscription to them until your going to buy something. Asked to see my prescription, then wouldnt give it back. Frames are WAY overpriced. I felt like i was talking to a car salesman.

The Skokie Pearle Vision is wonderful!! Elvi, Sarah and Dr. Nelly have been so helpful; they have been patient, nice and have made getting new glasses enjoyable! I will definitely be coming back here in the future for glasses and contacts.

Beware, they will try and make up prices for frames with no price tag. They try and fool you into thinking youre getting a good deal by showing you what retail value is for your purchase alongside your actual discounted price, while juggling numbers to confuse you. What ever you pay will be way over priced. Go find an eye exam elsewhere and look for deals online , dont go here! I will not come back.

I rated a 5 for the simple reason their customer service skills were excellent, they were professional,fast,helpful and quick to help.I came in 2/14/2014 for my exam at 11:25am and was out by 11:50am they saw that I really needed glasses and they had my glasses read y the next day 2/15/2014. I am 22 and have been coming here since I was 12. The staff at Pearle Vision have always been very kind and helpful, if you are looking for a Pearle Vision or eye care place in general this is a location I would definitely recommend!

Unfortunately I had bad experience with this office.I had the last appointment and they rush me through. .All thou doctor spend her time with me to exam my eye.Than I was shuck how much I had to pay for visit on top of my insurance.When I spoke with them prior to appointment they inform me only about 15$ copayment no one mansion extra charges and explain anything. The store manager said sorry and show me 200$ bills.That is horrible to inform your parents afterwards about high payments.My experience with sears optical office for the same visit was so much cheaper about 50$ year ago on top the same insistence. I tried to communicate with them through email and no one had any idea about it,good thing I brought my paperwork copy with me.

I feel that the people at the Skokie Pearl Vision were knowledgeable, helpful, and were not pushy about trying to get me into glasses that werent right for me to make a larger sale. I have poor vision and i put great value into a vision center that I feel comfortable with trusting my eye sight to. I trust pearle Vision in Skokie.

09/07/13 was my 12 noon appt for my eye exam and it was my first time at that location, i have nothing but a great appreciation to all the staff that helped me chose 2 frames and was very happy with the quality,i was treated like a king and so did all the customers that were there,it was a busy saturday,dr irene was realy warm,smilley,and very polite not to mention how profitional and caring she was ,2 thumbs up to her and to the staff.i will never go anywhere else for my eyecare and will recommend that place to anybody who has a problem with good service.thanks again to pearle vision skokie village crossing shopping center location :)
