Andrea was extremely helpful and gave her honest opinion. I looked through so many glasses and finally narrowed it down and chose which pair I was buying with her help. I even called back to the store later on that same day and she stood on the phone with me until my bill question was resolved. She was very friendly and courteous in every interaction I had with her.

We came in to get two pairs of sunglasses fixed. Roa and Andrea did an amazing job fixing both pairs for us and did it within 15 minutes for free!!! Great service overall and left very satisfied. We will definitely be coming back here!

I finally found frames I absolutely love!!!GREAT SERVICE! Both Andrea and Roa both went out of there way to help me find the right frames.They are super nice and helpful... not to mention extremely patient! They really care about your health and safety. Taken all precautions during covid. Cleaning extensively before, during and after, wearing mask and still providing the same care you expect.

Sometimes your appreciation for the hard work, determination, and thoughtfulness comes through when things don’t go completely right. I had a problem with the delivery date of my lenses which didn’t go smooth. I want to thank Andrea for taking the problem head on and never letting up in her hard work until she knew that I was completely satisfied. For that I will come back to LensCrafters. My glasses literally fell apart after 2 weeks of ownership. I called the store snd they told me they were too busy to speak with me. They never called back. A day later I went in person and was told they were too busy. I asked for an appt. I came back snd the manager told me that even though I was in the 30 day satisfaction guarantee window they would not remake my glasses unless I selected a different frame. I was told they were fragile and that she expected to see a lot of me to try to press them back together regularly. I said I wanted a solution and could I get them remade. I asked a few times and was told they couldn’t do it, but I had a few weeks to select a different pair. I decided to call the Northbrook Court store and I’m glad I did. They truly know the meaning of customer service. Skokie LensCrafters is not upholding their company promises. Please go anywhere else for your optical needs.

Staff is friendly and professional! Ive been coming here for years with an outside prescription, but right now through there remodel the staff still has a smile on their faces & staying positive. It is very small in the retail side right now, which made me not want to buy because of the selection.

Very pleasant workers, extremely helpful even though I didnt purchase anything

When I arrived for my appointment there were several other people waiting. I later found out that there was only one person attending to customers because they we short staffed. I was amazed at how Noemi (she’s amazing) was able to attend to everyone with patience and courtesy (I would have lost it). She helped me and others find frames, and answered questions while we were waiting, she was even able to answer the phone during this chaotic time. My eye exam and and the entire process went extremely well even though they were short staffed. I highly recommend this location.

I wish I could give this zero stars. They seem to want people to make online appts for eye exams, and it is super hard to get through on the phone, so I made appts online for me and my son, who needs an exam for kindergarten. We arrive for our appts, and the place is tiny and packed. We’re masked and the staff is masked but still...They give me forms to fill out and as I look for a place for me and my son to sit together (which did not exist), the staff member then asks my son’s age and says they do not do exams for kids under 6. They had his birthdate at scheduling, sent me a confirmation and reminder, and I relied on that and did not schedule something else. Then I took my unvaccinated child to a crowded store. All for nothing. I would avoid this place. I certainly will never patronize it again.

The staff at this location has excellent customer service and are total professionals. Noemi and Simra in retail helped me find a great pair of glasses. And Dr. Sabrina Kahn explained the health of my eye sight in detail. I highly recommend going to the Lenscrafters in Skokie @ Old Orchard Mall, theyll take care of you!

Went to the store to buy new glasses and was met by Andrea, that guided me in the right direction. From the moment I walked in to start the process and to the end, the experience was positive. Very professional and not pushy to get a sale. Also very clean store. Great selection of eyeglasses and very knowledgeable. Ill be definitely be coming back in the future.

Really bad business practice my friend got a call to pick up her glasses and told her they close 8 pm we got here at 7.39 no one was there !!

My 5 year old loved the eye test. Her favorite part was the machine where she saw the balloon. She did not need glasses but went above to recommend blue light glasses for her screen time for the overall health of her eyes.

Pathetic service, unfriendly associates. My wife did not like her lens thickness and frame weight, instead of being apologetic the associate was way unfriendly while giving her explanation or offering choices. Although we got our refund but I will never come back. Also my own lens took 3 weeks to arrive and instead of getting the call, I had to follow-up. Also they got my lens with a tinge of shade, I did not have the patience to go, resolve it with them and wait for another 3 weeks to get my eye glasses. Lastly, they have no variety of frames to offer and least helpful in terms of available choices.

Rude staff. Dirty store. Questionable covid protocols. I’ve had great LensCrafters experiences in the past, but this location left much to be desired.

I just tried have an appointment. However, I thought I was going to the location inside of Macy’s. I called multiple times to figure out the location, repeated put on hold. Once I did, I arrived around 13 minutes late and then no one acknowledged me at the store. I looked around for an availability employee. Then they were like you are 15 minutes late and the doctor will not see you. If they were busy I might understand. Whatever....listen to all the one star reviews. I should have.

Not happy at all! The first time I was there we ordered 2 pairs of glasses, a week later one of them was ready when we found out the agent did not order mine and my husbands order was also wrong. We had to go through the whole process again and spent another week waiting.

I had an appointment today. They left me a message yesterday of the time. 320pm. I showed up at 327pm(which i know was late) I went to check in the rude lady stated your appointment was at 310 and we cant see you. I played the message and she said well, Im sorry it was for 310. Tell me its because I was late I would understand, but its was your fault. UNACCEPTABLE!!! I guess Ill give my money to Pearl vision

I spent an absorbent amount of money on new glasses and contacts last year. Just a few months ago my eyes started to get very dry causing me to stop wearing contacts. I contacted LensCrafters old orchard 3 times over the course of 2 weeks via phone because Dr Jacobsen would not see me in person. She told me to use this brand of drops called Lumify which I later found out are NOT good to use lo term, I ended up developing an ulcer in my eye and at a specialist. They do not take their customers health seriously but will gladly take your cash. Never returning.

Went to the Lenscrafters at Old Orchard in Skokie. Id gotten my glasses / lenses there 2 years prior, and gotten really great service. This time, only my left eyes prescription had changed, so I only needed a new left lens -- not two lenses, and not the frames. The woman behind the counter was a really sharp-tongued, borderline rude person, who was adamant that Lenscrafters would NOT, under any circumstances, replace just the left lens -- Id have to order, and be charged for, 2 lenses. She also pushed a new set of frames at me, which I refused. She quoted me $533 for both lenses -- yikes! I want a new left lens, not a new smartphone! This place is a rip-off, and I could definitely see why the store was echoingly empty. Dont waste your time, if youre not going there to get an entirely new set of everything -- or even if you are. I have to wonder if Pearl or Visionworks, or Costco, arent more competitive, or at least more pleasant to deal with. Instead of getting their profit margin on a single lens for $266, Lenscrafters got zero profit margin and lost a customer for at least the next several years. Way to go, Lenscrafters! Not.BTW, they posted a please go to this link so we can resolve, so I did -- several times. They never responded. Guess its another review-site gimmick to make the random reader think theyre actually going to do something to resolve the problem. Not exactly

I made an appointment for my child for contact and eye exam. When I was very clear I wanted both. They said sure. They see my child and then say they cant do the contact exam because they cant do the training. I asked prior. Its a trick because the charge is higher doing both at separate times rather than doing it at once. The fact that they first said theyd be doing bith. Then after he comes out they say no. I did not want to come back because for a while now they throw in extra fees if you have insurance at the lincolnwood location so you end up paying more out of pocket. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH LENSCRAFTERS AND THE FEES.. Some of the staff are also rude and it doesnt seem to bother the eye doctors. Ill be looking for a local eye doctor. This franchise is that a franchise. No care or empathy for patients. Just the money we give.

This is my first time and my last time go to LensCrafters... to be honest. Yes... the doctor and stuff are nice and friendly. But.. the work they handle really unprofessional. My case, just order the lenses with 1 single vision without added any fancy future took me 7 weeks... yes 7 weeks... is ridiculous!!! And not only that.... 7 weeks STILL NOT DONE YET UNTIL TODAY!!!!The store never call, to follow up and when we call the answer... always we waiting from the Lab is really DISAPPOINTED!!!!

I give the Dr. 5 stars. She was a pleasure to deal with! I did not care too much about the sales staff. I felt like I was buying a used car! They tried desperately to sell me a pair of eye glasses and seemed very upset when I declined. The sales staff also sold me a bunch of B.S. on how if I purchase more contact lenses I can get a bigger rebate from the manufacturer. I took the bait! Well guess what.....after I submitted online my request for the rebate I received an email advising me that the items I purchased did not qualify.Ill continue using this location because its convenient and the Dr. is great but I will NEVER purchase any of their products. Ill just pay for the yearly exam and take my prescription elsewhere.And to whomever at LensCrafters reads this, please do not apologize. It wont help! You are what you are...your sales staff will do what their trained to do!

If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would. Nobody at this place knows what they are doing except for Dr. Mary who is really nice. The rest of the staff is completely incompetent, unprofessional and lack customer service skills. The experience was a nightmare from beginning to end.I got my glasses ( reading glasses) with the wrong Rx. When I picked them up, I told the associate they were not right, she didn’t even bother to check.The manager is rude and very unprofessional. She yelled at me since I was disappointed with the wrong Rx on my lenses and the lengthy amount of time it was taking her to make me a receipt to record the correction needed. I still don’t have this receipt she was supposed to email me.I do not recommend this place. Go somewhere else. Save your time and bile.

You better have some free time on your hands! I showed up early for my appointment to look at frames... weak selection! I gave my self 40 minutes for what should have been a 20 minute appointment. Then I found out that the person with the time slot before me was still sitting there waiting. The person before him had just been called back. Maybe if you get the first appointment of the day they can get you in and out on time. I dont think they realize that people need to work and rely on businesses keeping their schedules.

I have appointment with Dr. Khan but after preliminary tests another Doctor checked me instead they informed me earlier.

Worst lenscrafters Ive ever been to. Doctors are great however sales staff worse I have ever seen. Had 2 appointments for my kids. I was 3 minutes late for 1st appointment and they made me reschedule for another day. Then for my 2nd appointment they took me 40 minutes late, after I went up and made a comment to them.

Customer service is very poor. Ive been waiting for my glasses for 1 month. And when ordered I was told it takes 2 weeks!When I talked to manager Nathalie (after 3 weeks) I requested refund as I was tired of waiting but she said they cant do it until glasses are here.Finally, after a month I received a call and another guy notified me that glasses came there and I have to go the mall and pick up. But I paid for delivery to my home!So the end of the story: I received my glasses and they were nice (thats why I put 2 stars), but the glasses folder has dent on it. Very disappointed.

I went in twice today to try to get glasses fixed and make an appt to get new glasses/contacts. I never got greeted while everyone else after me did. While 3 associates were talking at the desk, 2 others did come up behind me organizing the frames. They never said hi or acknowledged me, they just stayed around me and it felt uncomfortable. I had my broken glasses in my hand while trying on frames and i felt as if I was being watched. I left and even came back 30 min later and no one still approached me.I used to purchase all my glasses and contacts at this location and moved away for a few years. Now that I am back, I will be going somewhere else.

I just ordered new glasses after an eye exam, as long as my glasses are what I ordered and work , while disappointed at first because last time I gave the over $500 I got 2 pair of classes with the exams BUT THEY MADE THEM WHILE I WAITED! NOT ANY MORE IT IS A 14 DAY WAIT MINIMUM TO RECEIVE THEM , so I am told....

I came in decided to purchase some $500 BVLGARI glasses and right when I came inside the store everyone at the front desk was talking and paid no attention. I asked a Blonde mid-age, heavy weight lady who wears glasses a question about my insurance. She might have been one of the managers. She didnt even bother to look up in the computer about my eye care benefits after I told her if she was able to check for me. She came to me real close and started to talk to me in a high tone. After that I left the store. Will be calling corporate. A person like this shouldnt be working at retail if they cant even do their job right!

I normally go to the Lens Crafters in Northbrook Court , Its closer to home, I went in to buy a pair of glasses they had in stock a few months back. The associate looked it up and said it was not available anymore in the color I want it. I made it pretty clear I want them in black she said she couldnt do anything because they didnt make them anymore. I go to old Orchard because they have the brown in stock there and wanted to try them on to see how they looked, a guy by the name Nick saw I was looking at those glasses and said he can check in the system to see if he can find them in black and HE DID!!! he said he could order them for me and also mentioned how Northbrook had 2 in stock!! Which made me very upset!!!! He was beyond helpful and was able to get me the glasses in a couple days!! I am definitely going to the Old orchard location from now on, they have a GREAT TEAM there!!! I was very pleased!!!

Poor service... went to the old orchard lens crafters today to pick up my glasses. Lens crafters website showed closing time 9pm. But guess what we got there at 8:10pm and they were closed. There was 3 ppl inside including the manager. We asked why the doors were locked? Manager did not bother to come to explain why they closed early instead sent 2 sales ppl who were rude. One of the guy was saying we are trying to get out of here. How professional... especially when you come driving for half hour with a baby. Will not buy glasses from here again.

Bought glasses here and my prescription was not 100% correct BC it gave me headache, I got a 2nd opinion and they gave me a prescription that was a little higher. I called them to try to fix my glasses with the new prescription, they told me they cant do it because it was more than one month since I got the glasses. They however offered me to sell new frames for 40% off that I dont need. Terrible customer experience instead to fix the problem they offered me to sell more frames or to pay extra to fix it. Ill never come here again.

I was seen at this location on May 8th, 2014. They customers service was excellent, prompt and understanding to my needs since I was using a cane that day. The gentleman who assisted me was Yoso, in picking out my glasses and my needs, was extremely helpful and kind.I called the next day, thinking I had left something behind, Yoso answered the phone and assured that I had not. He remembered my name and knew exactly who I was. We all know how nice it is to be remembered who we are. I will be using this location for future exams. Thank you Yoso and Lenscrafters.

Very poor communication of pricing up front. Misled us. The bill here will be a surprise. I would go elsewhere until this is corrected.

I stopped in to get a screw replaced in my glasses. I was helped right away and was in and out in less than 5 minutes. The young lady that helped me even cleaned my glasses.

I walked in with crushed/ very bent frames. I left within 10 minutes and got and adjustment for free from Tatiana. She was very nice and I was very happy I did not have to order another pair! 10/10 thank you!
