Honestly this is one of the first reviews I’ve ever written for a business but I feel compelled to speak on a severely disappointing and disheartening experience. After seeing my 100% real non-driver Washington State ID, the doorman at Reef told me policy was to take it because he “didnt believe it was real.” As a chronically ill and disabled customer, I rely on my identification to safely identify me in a health crisis, not to mention its simply my property. I have actually shopped at your store before with this exact ID, so I found this to be a really bewildering experience. Please give your employee(s) more training on the different legal IDs available in the state of Washington to ensure a more inclusive shopping experience.

This is the best dispensary in Seattle! They give 5% of each sale to a charity of your choosing (they provide a list to choose from). Wonderful selection and kind and knowledgeable staff, too! Thank you, The Reef!! 💜

Excellent experience! I like the Covid-19 safety protocols, that store followed. Two cash machines. And a wonderful space, where you pick up your online order and get pre-rolls. It was one of the most impressive collections I have seen. A whole wall, labeled with every type of pre-roll imaginable. Parking can be tricky but its worth coming through!

Just moved to the area, and was able to get in, get help from knowledgeable staff, get what I was looking for, and get out. Been here a few times now, and have had a great experience each time. Clean shop, polite helpful staff, numerous ways to buy and keep distance, a range of products/price points, and they donate 5% of their proceeds to a local chairty of your choosing (as of writing one for pets, one for independent music venues, and one to aid folks with cannabis charges and legal fees). Its a win win all around. Will continue going, and would easily recommend.

Front door guard turned me away because I had an Ike’s bag. Oh well, another dispensary had what I wanted and were willing to take my money.

Great service and assortment here. I’m new to town and I was grateful to have the time to chat with someone. I like that you can order online and pick up in store from either their website or leafy, though their website has better inventory accuracy (sometimes leafy product is actually out of stock). I’m a big fan of the cartridges.

Great staff and shop, just wish they had a better online store. Being able to filter by brand would be nice. Also wish they would be able to keep the products I like in stock, it’s frustrating to only see them there once in a while, forcing me to search elsewhere.

I cant even begin to describe how amazing, kind, encouraging, and extremely knowledgeable the budtenders are here! I came into town for a few days on tour. I flew over from the east coast, and so with my severe insomnia and mind 3 hours ahead. I needed a Sativa to keep me up for my performance, and an indica to set me to sleep. I met the wonderously elegant & badass Maegan who went above & beyond. Leaving me flummoxed with how well she did. Suggesting a perfect Sativa Infusion for on stage, and the legendary Northern lights for sleep. I could go on. But bin short. Ive been to dispensaries from Amaterdam, to Toronto, to Denver, to here. Sucks with all the train noise, its a shame Seattle would build such a beautiful park and all the train traffic and noise makes not as enjoyable I would find a better park unless it is convenient for you and trains are fun.

Good place, but the selection was limited on wax brands or selections, prices were bumped up from norm, and quality was lacking to say the least. If convenience is your reason to go here then good luck.

I was visiting Seattle from the Tacoma area & just had to visit this gorgeous shop. Pal was my budtender & she was so knowledgeable & friendly. I came in looking for something with CBG & she had so much information for me, even things to consider next time I’m looking for CBG. I left knowing so much more & she really broke everything down for me & made it so user friendly. Love this shop!! And if you are in the neighborhood please please please see Pal!! She knows her cannabis and is incredibly friendly!!!

This is my go-to dispensary. I had bad experiences at Uncle Ikes, but every time at The Reef has been great.

Dabstract product was purchased : no attendant explained it would require to charge with a micro usb cord. Second issue, within second of walking out of the store it doesn’t even work. Charged it- still doesn’t work. For a 60 dollar product they agreed to a contract with this company dabstract not to give money back without the packaging. Not only does the company fail the client it’s client is being given empty cartridges- yes EMPTY. I opened it up with a hammer and it’s empty. So, bad contracts that only serve the companies and not the people. The amount of money they save on refunds must be astronomical. By purposely providing unmeasurable cases that are metal and solid/ they also eliminate being “caught” at falsifying 60 dollars a pen. I do not recommend any large companies that agree to contracts that give them the upper hand is returns of bad products. If a vape pen doesn’t have these issues why is cannabis different. Because you have a shady company trying to make money of not providing a real product in a percentage of pens they sell. If the reef cared like some smaller store they would back the products they sell and accept a return within an hour of purchase. Especially after a half hour of breaking into the pen case to find it’s completely empty. Absolutely worth a lawsuit. Hope my comment helps someone out there.

The employees should not assume the customers are clueless. I’m 55 years old and have been smoking longer than these kids have been alive. I wanted to pick out some dabs and the male employee kept correcting me and tried to enlighten me. I did not ask for his advice. Next time I’ll go across the street.

Mambo the Budtender has helped us out so much in the past year or so on multiple trips, its a shame I havent left him a glowing review until now! Very knowledgeable and able to interpret what we want into the perfect product. We have always gone home happy when Mambo helps us out!

My first experience at this address was in 1983 when it was the hottest Italian restaurant in Seattle, Settebello! I worked there for 8years.Its great to see that its now the best thing in Marijuana for our Emerald city!

Great staff, knowledgeable in selection available, I cant stop going back!Edit: Now that I have a dog named Mac (yall can snicker, I do when Im smoking the MAC strain), they are totally accommodating, even give him treats when not super busy. He really appreciates the water dish by the door and gets excited when I say were going to the Reef.I recommend this place to everyone I know who lives or drives through Seattle. The staff really works with you to help understand the updated LCB rules if you make large purchases And a huge shout out to Liz and their pop culture references, always makes me laugh when they through them out there!

Website is impossible to navigate-you cannot filter by growers it’s an outdated, buggy, awful website. It’s truly a shame how much business they are losing because their website is so frustrating, disappointing and broken. The Reef management team should hire someone who knows how to make their website accessible. Luckily, their next door neighbor has an easier menu to preorder from so I’ll gladly support them siphoning off your customers if you’re unwilling to change the website. Please make your menu easier to order from during COVID-19.

The Reef is one of the best Cannabis stores that Ive been too , and Ive been to a lot. they always give you the best price. they always give you the best choice. theyre not going to give you what you dont want. youll be very happy at The Reef very happy. But to be for sure do your research on what you want for your cannabis choice. Theres indoor and theres outdoor cannabis , the indoor cannabis is always going to be stronger than the outdoor cannabis do your research.

Hands down my favorite dispensary in Cap Hill. Every person Ive worked with has been super friendly and helpful and their recommendations are on point. Tons of flower and wax products and a huge wall of prerolls, including palm leaf blunts (my new favorite). Its a little overwhelming how many different products there are but the design of the displays and atmosphere are really pleasing. Its really cool how community oriented they are and how much they give back.Also no ATM fee.

Asked for a bag of 10mg thc edibles - they sold me a bag of ten 1mg instead. Labeling on top said 10mg (indicating total amount in the whole bag) so I didnt think anything of it until a few days later when I opened them up. My bad I guess for not reading the small print on the bag after asking for a recommendation but Ive never had that issue elsewhere.

This is a fine place with friendly staff, but four times in a row now I have come in and asked something along the lines of, whats your best deal on ____, and had the employee have zero clue what kinds of deals they are currently running, and of what they actually sell. This has happened 4 times in a row now, with three different employees (the first and second time I had the same person help me, now I just make sure to not go into her line if shes there). I imagine its a lot to remeber what sales are happening, so make a cheat card or something. Your employees should always know what your current cheapest flower, pre-rolls and cartridges are.

BUYER BEWARE: They scan your license before allowing you in. I find it offiensive that they are buuilding a database of customers and refuse to relinquish my freedoms - First and Last time here, never again. Trees Pot shop has far better prices on Gabriels products and examine your WDL twice but do not scan it.
