This Dental practice is great! They let me make my own decisions, without pressure. When I had an exam, they went over everything and explained it so that I could understand the problems and solutions.The receptionist and assistant was extremely professional and helpful, answering all my questions on the phone and helping me to get in to see the dentist in a hurry.Their charges for service were lower than I would have expected for me (out of pocket), using my insurance. I had a bit of a problem from my last procedure and they got me in quickly and didnt charge me a thing for examination and a solution. Wow, this is the place to go...

Everyone is fantastic, they make sure you are comfortable, understand what the process is, and set realistic expectations.

I have been a customer for 25 years and have never wanted to change to another dentist. Both Dr Afzali and Dr Sanford are caring doctors and very easy to talk to. The entire office staff is friendly and welcoming. I I recommend them whenever someone is looking for a high quality dentist.

I was very impressed with the care from the entire staff. I could tell their focus was on the health of my mouth and teeth and not just doing procedures to make more money. It’s a 20 min drive to get there for me, and I will continue to make that drive. I recommend to anyone looking.

I grew up having TERRIBLE dentists and lots of dental work done and developed so much anxiety and fear about going to the dentist. I ended up having to find a provider when I moved to Rancho Bernardo and went to RB Family Dentistry. When you walk in the door, they have spa music playing and everything is clean and theres always a friendly face at the counter. They have completely changed the way I feel about dental work and dentists in general. I went in recently after breaking my front tooth and they saw me the day it happened and got a beautiful and perfect crown on me within a week! They make me so comfortable and are truly a great office from Julie at the front desk, Alisha, and of course Dr. Afzali. Thanks for taking such great care of your patients!

This office, both doctors and staff, are wonderful! Completely restored my view on dentistry and how pushy they all have gotten. Not to mention, they are so gentle that my 9yr old daughter fell asleep in the chair while getting a shallow filling done. Plus they call to check on you. WOW

Incredibly friendly and thorough, with lots of attention given to young patients and plenty of time given to parents for questions. Even my young kids would give Dr. Afzali 5 stars.

Quite disappointed with the overall visit. It was my first time visiting them and the staff was quite rude. The doctor asked me if I was interested in cosmetic changes but the moment I told her that I was there just for regular checkup she seemed uninterested and just rushed the whole visit. She did not even talk to me. The front desk lady gave me an overview of the checkup summary.

I needed to have some fillings done and my 6 month cleaning. Being a teacher my schedule is very tight and the office was so accommodating to me. They stayed later to get all fillings done and my cleaning so I wouldnt have to try and schedule multiple appointments. The dr and his assistant which I believe her name Alicia, were amazing. Polite, respectful, professionals and funny!! They kept me entertained during the uncomfortable parts and made me laugh when they could tell I needed to relax. Overall, i had little to no pain that night and the next morning I couldnt even tell it had been done. They also called to check in on me! Plus side I where invisalign and was worried they wouldnt fit still...but they DO!!If youre looking for a new dentist please try RB Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, you wont regret it!!!

Great staff and my teeth feel fabulous

I am so impressed by Dr. Afzalis experience as a dentist as well as her bedside manners. I heard about her, and the magic that she does with teeth. I didn’t have any upper teeth when I went to see her; only the roots. I don’t know how she did it but she was able to give me six new, strong, beautiful upper teeth. All the other dentists I visited told me that I had to have those teeth extracted, but Dr. Afzali was able to save me from unnecessary pain and costs. She honestly gave me my confidence back. I now frequently get complimented on my smile and “dazzling” teeth. I owe so much to Dr. Afzali and her amazing staff. Thank you so much for letting me smile again!
