As someone who has major anxiety when it comes to dental visits, I am now wishing I came to see Dr. Javaheri way sooner.I need a new crown for a broken tooth and a cosmetic procedure in order to get my smile and teeth back in great condition. I am so happy with the treatment plan Dr. J recommended and excited to get to work. The hygienist, Stephen (not sure of the spelling), was also extremely nice and make great recommendations for my home dental care. Will definitely refer friends/family here.

Dr. Racic did a phenomenal job with my crown. The temporary one held in place with no issues the whole two weeks while waiting for the permanent one. The actual crown itself feels perfect so great job all around.I used to go to another dentist who did my first crown. Their temporary crown came off the first night and the permanent one came loose too after one week.The staff at SDDSD is absolutely awesome too.

My entire family, including my 90 year old mother, have been going to Dr J for several years. The entire staff is friendly and extremely caring. They have taken extraordinary care of my 90 year old mother. She loves everyone at his office. Dr. J has constantly gone above and beyond to work on her failing teeth. Dr. J. is a fantastic dentist!! I would highly recommend Dr. J and Smiles By Design!! You will not find a better dental office.

Three months ago Dr. Javehari placed an implant (back molar). He did a great job. I have had no problems with the tooth. My bite is good and the spacing with the adjacent tooth is perfect. Also, the office personnel are wonderful and all do a great job of making the time in the office as safe and comfortable as possible.

Dr. J and his staff (Shirley, Elaine and Steve) are truly amazing! They provide the best and honest dental care with compassion and making the patients feel comfortable.When I first moved to San Diego, I went to three different dentists before I found this office. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the dental assistant was so sweet and lovely. The doctor was also very calm and informative, I felt comfortable asking questions. Everyone seems super nice so far so I definitely recommend this place.

Dr. Javaheri was referred to me by a friend and Im glad I went to see him. He is straightforward and honest. He did my wisdom tooth extraction and Ive had no swelling or pain whatsoever. True professional. I will be going to him for all my dental needs.

Fantastic dentist and amazing staff. I cant imagine going to anyone else after being here. Just a perfect atmosphere every visit. There isnt a single person with a bad attitude or even a mediocre attitude. They care and pick up conversations where you left off even after 6 months. I just cant say enough!!

Excellent Dentist. Dr J is the best Dentist I have ever had in San Diego. He found an abscess in my gum which was from a root canal that many years ago another dentist did on my tooth and that was interesting because the abscess didnt even had any sign and symptoms. office staffs very nice and welcome with a beautiful smile.thanks Smile by Design.

Everybody LOVES going to the Dentist, right? Well this group almost makes you want to. The office is always neat, clean, friendly and ready to serve you. The staff is efficient and on their game. I have had joint replacement surgery and must take an antibiotic before ANY procedure. They always ask/check to make sure that I have. If I have forgotten they provide it for me, prior to starting. Dr. J explains things in a manner that is understandable.

If I could award more stars I would. I’m so so grateful for this office and Dr J’s practice. I had not been to any dentist in an incredibly long time due to my fears and embarrassment for how long it had been since I’d seen anyone. Today, I chose Dr J as my first dental appointment in twenty years. As a new patient, I was so fearful, but not only was I warmly welcomed and kindly treated, going through the process of xrays and other checkup elements was calm and, to be honest, enjoyable due to the friendly conversation. Dr J was genuine, personable, and informative. I felt so supported through the process of my first visit today. Raul was also particularly comforting through the process. I left feeling empowered and confident. I now know I have a team on my side that I trust and feel safe with. The staff at Smiles By Design is fantastic! They are super friendly and I can joke around with them, which really puts me at ease. I love all of the high tech equipment they have available- just today they took pictures of my gums to track the recession- really love that we are going to be able to watch the progress and see if anything else needs to be done. Im new to the area, moved here from the Central Valley and have a huge anxiety with dentists. I was referred to Dr. J. When I called, the Staff was professional and very reassuring about the Staff and services which are provided. I received a reminder call and appreciated it. Upon arriving Dr. J was there to greet those of us who entered. I was pleasantly surprised. It is comforting to see and have the interaction between patients and Dr. J. The exam was detailed, informative and pretty much painless. Then afterwards the cleaning was next. Both Missy Debra and the Hygienist were very nice. They kept me calm and relaxed, well as much as I could be due to my anxiety, Lol. The timeframe was reasonable for what they had to do. I received my next appointment and am happy to say I found my new dental office. Everyone made me feel like I had been there forever. YES!!!!! I do recommend them from my first and personal experience with them.

Dr. J and his staff are amazing. I do not like dentists, but Dr. J makes that statement obsolete. I have been using Dr. J for a couple of years. I came here for a cleaning and second opinion for some sensitivity. My last dentist wanted to grind 1/3 of my tooth and give me and onlay for the bargain price of $575 after insurance!!!! I was mortified until I met Dr J and his staff. Caren gave me a thorough cleaning while being so friendly and kind. When Dr J did his exam and suggested fluoride treatment at home for enamel loss (not a cavity!!) I was so relieved! He admitted it may not fix the problem but admitted he prefers conservative treatments when possible which made me feel confident in his treatment plan and well cared for. My only regret is I didnt find them sooner!

Let me start with I HATE THE GOING TO THE DENTIST!!!! However, Dr. Javaheri is amazing. He knows my anxiety around dental work and is careful to walk me through everything he is doing. He is kind, gentle and has a great personality. He actually jokes with me (most dont bother). I appreciate that he knows im a bit of a baby (of course im not afraid to tell him either), but he takes the time to make me feel comfortable. I highly recommend him~ especially for my fellow dental phobics!!!

The staff is incredible, the office has a great atmosphere, they give out good prizes and have a lot of raffles, and my teeth have never been so flawless!

The most corrupt lying dentist ever I have Ive $4,000 in receipts..hhis work was reviewed by other dentists..iI was ripped off and he will not fix faulty work....this guy is a joke no toilet paper in the restroom..receptionist so embarrassed. She had to go to store.
