I have always hated going to the dentist. Until I found Sandris & Tania Bajars. They are the most caring dentists I have ever met.All their staff is simply fantastic: welcoming, friendly, efficient, and highly professional. They provide an outstanding service. Dr Tania always takes time to explain everything, gives me options when available and makes sure I am comfortable with the decisions.After going there myself, they now take care of my mother, my husband and my two little ones.Dr Tania is fantastic with kids. My eldest WANTED to go in to show her her missing tooth! And my 2-year-old had a bad fall and broke a tooth that needed to be extracted. Both doctors went above and beyond to take care of her and as far as I’m concerned, they are heroes!Honestly, I would give them a 10-star review if I could.

Very good experience , I would totally recommend this place to my friends and family Dr. Tania always makes me feel better and more relax with every visit she explains every detail she is very knowledge and she treat me with so much care so I know I’m in safe hands and also all the staff that I know so far they are very polite and they treat you good, Raul is the one I see the most and he always makes me feel comfortable with the procedures like x rays etc and Bree the lady at the front desk she is great she always explain everything very good too and I want to mention that the place is very cute and clean I’m very glad I found it ☺️

Came here for a dental cleaning and a regular check up. The office is clean. I felt like the staff tries to go the extra mile to make you feel welcomed.The cleaning was done as expected with the doc asking and re-asking if I had any questions to make sure all doubts were cleared.

I called to get an appointment and was very pleased I got one the same day. I had to fill some forms by phone (no difficulties there). When I arrived the office people very friendly. Busy office even with social distancing and very safe and clean. Dr Tania explained all procedures and was very gentle. Bre was so helpful and Raul was an great also. Super kudos to the Bajars Team.

I had my teeth cleaned, with a Cavitron ultrasonic tooth cleaner. No more scraping. Thats why I came hear. It was a wonderful experience. I used to own a dental lab. I will gladly come back. Worth the $200 out of pocket expense. They have a $385 package for one full year of teeth cleaning, exrays and exams. Sign me up.

Every visit has been an exceptional experience. There is no judgement and I am always treated like family! I am always greeted immediately from the front desk staff and professionalism is always present. Dr. Bajars is very thorough and honest and always recommends whats best for me. Her assistants are also ROCKSTARS!!!!

The tour you get of the facility when you first arrive as a new patient is super cool and I have never had another dentist/orthodontist do that. The front desk ladies are brilliant and super helpful, and Dr. Tania Bajars is phenomenal! She is super sweet and gentle, and she explained exactly what she was doing and why. I have had nothing but an amazing experience!I would highly recommend anyone here!

Wonderful experience and caring Doctors. Only the best care for my grandmother. I feel confident that my grandma is being treated by honest and caring Doctors. Dr. Tania Bajars thoroughly reviews patients medical conditions and medications. And thoroughly explains in detail her findings after examining your mouth. She is very sweet and patient with my grandmother. I trust her very much. Dr. Sandris is also very nice and has also treated my grandmother in the past. Both top notch Doctors! Its nice that they are so close to our home and offer specials for patients without insurance. I highly recommend this office.

I came for a consultation for adult braces with Dr. Tania. The facility is rather small and there was nowhere to sit as I waited. I was seen a bit late but its understandable with a busy practice. I was treated very well and I have a very complicated case so she explained some things very thoroughly and was so nice. I was referred to another orthodontist so I was a bit bummed since it looked like a such a great place, but overall I was really happy with this practice.

Some people experience anxiety when going to the dentist. For 100 years the profession has been constantly improving upon techniques and pain reduction. How far have we come? Well, I just fell asleep during a root canal. Dr. Bajars (and most likely also Dr. Bajars- theres 2) have the best bedside manner and most soothing demeanor you could ask for. The reception staff and dental assistants genuinely care about you. The entire team is awesome. Ill never fear a trip to the dentists again.

The staff is great! Very sweet and they answer all your questions, even the ones you didnt know you had. :) I love the fact that they show you how they run their office and how they give you many options for procedures, but they give sincere feedback. Seems like they care about you and not having you waste money like other places. :)

Achtung! I give long, detailed reviews :-)After having gone through a lengthy process of having consulted with a referred-to oral surgeon, who would have cost me $2100 (in the Clairemont area) for an abscessed tooth extracted from my 13 yr olds mouth; I had to change plans and find a dentistry/oral surgeon who would be in-network for me and utilize the insurance that I have. The expensive oral surgeon wanted to make the extraction Top Priority by charging an arm and leg for much needed fancy-schmancy anesthesia and other knick-knacks. Thus, I discovered the dentistry of Dr. Bajars & Bajars and was scheduled for a consultation the next day, after speaking with the staff on the phone. At that consultation, one of their surgeons who is on-site once a month, suggested we take care of the tooth on-the-spot.Hearing this, I was delighted to have the problem be taken care of. But, lo, I am a tedious woman and asked for a quote from my insurance to be sure. In addition, I had the printed version of the predetermination for the $2100 cost plan with the other surgeon. Dr. Bajarss surgeon made sure to make a copy of it as a reminder of how ridiculous charges can get (I suppose). Soon after, the cost for the consultation, tooth extraction + anesthetics was explained to me by Alma, the receptionist/finance consultant. I only paid $430 (estimate)! Do the math. HUGE difference.I saved a lot by going to Dr. Bajarss office.The extraction on my brave 13 yr old was done in about 30 min. Bada Bing Bada Boom. The had sutures put in, which were removed a week later or so. A very big THANK YOU to the practice! Would I patronize this practice again? Yes, for oral surgery needs (implants, extractions, cosmetics, etc.).**There is a missing star, because of the confusion created concerning the anesthesia procedure. I got a version from the dental assistant telling me that nitris was optional and only a local anaesthetic would suffice. The other version told to me by the financial consultant/receptionist, was that it was NOT an option to have the nitris (gas). Huh?! They had the surgeon come up front to explain things to me. He seemed to be saying that I actually had an option, but wanted to use the nitris, nonetheless. When I asked him, So, are you saying that you will not perform the extraction without the gas? he replied: No, no -- its totally up to you! (or something to that degree). I sense that the dental assistants and front desk people need to align their stories prior to seeing their patients. That way, they are better organized and appear more professional. Nonetheless, thank you! I saved a lot!

Awesome place.I am traveling, and I had an issue with my crown. It fell off. My local friends suggested to go to this place.Doctor adjusted the crown and placed it back. He was very attentive, efficient and I felt relaxed. All staff members were professionals and very welcoming. It’s been a months since I was there, and everything feels good. I enjoyed my visit. And it was also affordable for my student budget.I would highly recommend to chose these nice professionals to take care of your teeth.

Our family has finally found the dental office for us! Both doctors are wonderful and their staff is so welcoming and go above and beyond for their patients. They have helped us with insurance issues when we switched from another dental office and have given us straight forward estimates so we can budget for our appts accordingly. They even have a specialist that visits their offices every so often for treatments that they would refer you out for normally! What a time saver! We highly recommend Dr. Bajars to everyone.

I was in pain when I called to make the appointment, and I appreciate that they were able to see me the same day. However, I left with no answers as Dr Bayars couldnt determine what the cause of my pain was. He recommended that I use Sensodyne toothpaste and I paid $175.00 for that advice. The following day I traveled much further to find a former dentist I trusted to deal with what had become excruciating pain. He properly diagnosed that I needed a root canal which I will have today. Im not sure why Dr Bayars couldnt see that I had an infected molar that would not stop no matter what toothpaste I was using. Maybe he didnt understand how much pain I was in. Everyone at the office seemed okay, but for my money and time, this visit was a waste and I wont be going back.

Maybe this building has magic in it. Ive been coming to this location since way back in the 90s. A visit to this dental office is now, just as it was back in the day, is a very pleasant experience. So my thanks to the office staff and the Bajars family for making this so. God Bless all.

At Bajars & Bajrs Dental Office, whether fer fillin or drillin, Ill always be willin.Now, you must be at least a little curious about THAT Review Title. So heres the scoop: I have been with Dr. Sandris Bajars since roughly 2008 or 2009 and Ive had the majority of both typical and intensive procedures done and its ALWAYS been a great experience. The front office staff is always attentive and prepared and the dental assistants have always been skilled and proficient. Appointments are followed up with emails containing Microsoft Outlook Event Reminders that ACTUALLY correctly import into my Outlook installation. Reminder text messages are also provided. Before Dr. Bajars, I had heard from other dentists patients all the usual horrific stories regarding procedures like Root Canals, etc. With Dr. Bajars, I can tell you, Root Canals (Ive had two in different areas of my teeth with Dr. Bajars) are *nothing* to be concerned over. The entire staff is just amazing. When I needed a specialist, Dr. Bajars brought in Dr. Gary Sigenfoos and he was top notch and completely disarming in both demeanor, explanation and execution. Every experience with them has been positive. When the procedure costs exceeded my primary dental insurance coverage one year, the office staff put me in contact with a Dental Care Credit provider that CHARGES NO INTEREST if the charges are paid off in 18 months! I have seen no dental practitioners that are better anywhere and Ive had dentists in Michigan, Ohio, Texas as well as San Diego.

Horrible experience. I have a widely used humana dental plan. My wife has been trying get an appointment and service to have her wisdom teeth removed for 3 weeks now. The front staff is awful and has had to have my insurance call them many times to explain to their business that they do take my plan. Today my wife went for her scheduled appointment at 10 am. By 11 am she was still sitting there, and they were having her email our brochure, contacting humana repeatedly, contacting our medical insurance. So at 1115 i called and informed them of their ridiculously bad customer service and poor office staff. I told them that if they did not get her in for her appointment soon i would be making a formal complaint to our insurance and the state dental board. The employee jess hung up on me, ran to her boss and probably lied because then her boss came out to the waiting room, told my wife we dont respond kindly to threats and threw her out! I guess trying to complain to a place of business is a threat now. I called them back after they kicked out my wife and the receptionist jess answered again. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she put the phone down for 5 seconds. She picked it back up and said this is jess, the supervisor, how can i help you mockingly. She refused to get her supervisor for me. Completely unprofessional. Stay clear of this place.
