Bri was so fun to chat with and so sweet! I enjoyed her and had a lot of fun and my nails turned out so cute. I went in to get my Apres nails with square tips reshaped to almond and re colored and she had to improve to get the job done and the shape right. She crushed it, I rebooked.

Tiffany was very nice and friendly. She did a pretty good job on my full set of brisa gel nails. Unfortunately I end up with a cut on one of my cuticles, a broken nail within a a few hours later and another nail has a dip in it. I love the color and all of my other nails are really nice, but for what I paid I am not sure it was worth it.

I went there 2 different times with two different techs. One did a great job but was super difficult to get a rebooked. The second time I went I was booked with someone that was brand new and took an extremely long time for a fill and not even a week later I am going to some where else for a full new set. I really wanted to like this place but sadly I will not be returning.

This was our 3rd experience at this salon for nail and/or pedicure treatment.Mediocre at best while our first experience was excellent, 2nd not so much so we wanted to give it another go.I had a pedicure with French tip gel.I’d like to be consulted regarding the shape and width of the French tip. Not liking the results. Also, only a couple days after the pedicure and my heels are as rough as when I went in. Just not up to par for $45 plus tip.Very nice nail tech’s just not great for my pedi.

I have been trying for 3 weeks to get in and get a nail fill done. I was under the impression I was set on there schedule then when I called to confirm I was apparently never put on. Then on top of that they cant do nail fills today anyway . This felt super unprofessional. The scheduler needs to learn how to call people back and not just tell them they are going to do something. Im super disappointed

Ive been getting my nails done by Ali here for a couple years and she is fantastic. She has great attention to detail, my nails never lift or break, and she makes getting my nails done fast and easy.While Ali can do fantastic nail art, I prefer a simple, natural looking acrylic nail, and Ali always gets it right. She’s the best.

I REALLY loved how this shop was run. It seems some of the girls are on a booth rent (basically running their own business out of the their table) but the owner of the place seems very picky about her staff and their skill level. They have some amazing nail artists on staff as well! The tech that did my sisters nails wasnt able to do what we wanted (a sort of ombre from black to red), but she was very up front about her abilities; she let us know she wasnt confident in her own ability to reproduce the picture we had which was actually nice. Im my experience, most places will insist they can do it and then just make a mess of it. She was funny and professional, and did a fantastic job sculpting some coffin style nails for my sister. She recommended a great color for us, and did multiple coats to make sure the color was vibrant. I highly recommend this shop!

I love this salon!!! The Nail Room is THE best salon, in more ways than one. Not only do they provide an array of many services, nail artists (of whom actually provide you with true artwork), hair stylists and top of the line products. They take pride in their work and treat you as if you are family. Very friendly staff, clean and modern atmosphere, and huge selection of nail services. Shellac is what I go in for. I have been going to The Nail Room since 2010, same artist (although others have stepped in if my gal is out of town) and they have done a great job, also. I even relocated to another state in 2013, for a mere 6 months, and while I was on my drive back to Utah (permanently) I called my nail artist to let her know I was moving back to Utah and needed to see her ASAP! She welcomed me back! Brittney is absolutely incredible! I consider her a friend, she keeps me in check, keeps me updated with the latest trends and truly is a perfectionist. I always leave with a smile on my face, as well as knowing Im going to receive many compliments on my nails! Best place ever!

This is the best place to get your nails done on SLC hands down. I’ve been to quite a few other nail salons with various price points and this place definitely has the best quality.

I have been a long time client at The Nail Room. I have been a client for 6 years now. I started going there when they were a nail school. The atmosphere is wonderful and inviting. The owner is great and so is every nail tech there. I get what I want. When they added the Hair Room it became a bonus because now I may be able to get my nails and hair done all in one spot. I just have to brag that I have the best nail tech, Ali and the best beautician Katie. They both do fabulous jobs and give me what I ask for. Thanks ladies for all youve done!!

Fair price for top-quality work.I come in every two weeks to get my acrylics filled, and Im never disappointed. My regular nail tech, Tiffany, is focused and takes pride in her work.The staff is very LGBT friendly, which is fantastic if you are trans or if you want to come in with your partner. There is no judgment here.An absolutely wonderful place.

I went in to see Tiffany and left very satisfied! She did a great job. My nails look beautiful, but even more important they have surpassed my expectations of longevity. I have closed them in a window, gotten them stuck in a machine and caught on a rack at work and they still look beautiful. No chips or cracks. I cant wait for my follow up to get a fill!!!

The nail artist that did my nails only talked about herself and her mental issues. I got gel nails and they were completely chipped off a week later. If I knew they weren’t going to last that long, I wouldn’t have spent $50 on them.

I wanted to like this place so bad. The girl who did my nails was SO friendly and nice so I feel bad even leaving this review, but I got home and within 30 minutes the shellac on my toes peeled right off. She had to do 5 or 6 coats of color to make sure it was opaque enough so maybe that contributed to it but I am super disappointed. My nails weren’t shaped very well either and I’m just frustrated that I now have to spend money to get them done again

My daughter and I have been getting our nails done with Ali Evans for the past year. It is a great way to spend time together and I really like Ali. She does an awesome job. She is friendly, always smiling and greets you when you walk in the door. She knows the colors that I prefer, even though I tend to go for the more subtle colors; she always makes great suggestions and does an incredible job on my nails.The Nail Room is a fun, casual and relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend Ali and the Nail Room!

My fiancée and I drive half an hour, despite the many nail salons close by, to get here. Why? Because they are the best nail salon we have ever gone to! Stellar service and staff, inviting atmosphere, and the nails are incredible! Plus: they speak English and are LGBT friendly! They make you feel like a friend. No other nail salon has ever made me feel quite so welcome. It is the only place we even consider now days. They earn every single one of the 5 stars I rate them, every time.

My sister and I booked an appointment here in Nov 2016. Its taken me a while to leave a review. Honestly, the the aesthetic of the building caught my eye and their website looks good. I thought it was a cute place. Anyhow, my nail tech did a great job with my gel manicure but my sister got acrylics, which ended up looking terrible. I tried to get my sister to talk with the manager but she wouldnt because she was just ready to go home. My sister and I sat far away from each other, which was a bummer because neither tech was very talkative. The restroom was dirty and smelled bad-as if there was a sewer issue. Service was fine but I dont think I would go back.

I love this place. Amber Mason is the most talented nail artist Ive ever been to. She can literally do anything and when you dont have an idea, let her come up with something. Trust me, youll be happy. Everyone at the salon is always super friendly.

My (Nail and Hair Room) hairstylist, Jennee Mannos, is a talented stylist. However, the last time she cut my hair, she smelled like she had just smoked marijuana--the smell of which is strong and indistinguishable. The quality of the haircut was not on a par with the prior two haircuts I had received. I wanted to discuss the matter with her over the phone, but she didnt call me back. Im not anti-pot, but there is a time and a place for it. Needless to say, I am going to take my business elsewhere.

This salon is different from any you have been to before, and Amber Mason is the woman to go to. I have never had such amazing nail art in my life. Ive been seeing her for SIX years, and have had repeated patterns (by choice) maybe ten times. In six years. She is so creative. Sue makes sure all her employees are held to the highest standards in their training and let me tell you, it shows!

Best shellac pedicure in town. Her shellac process is amazing. Nothing ever peals or chips off- unless youre the one doing it !!! I know its her dedication to doing the best job she can for every client. More than pleased.

I have gone to Amber for years and absolutely love love love her, she is so creative and talented. I wont go to anyone else. She knows my style and I never have a problem with my nails breaking, or cracking. She is great and all the girls there are nice. And I always feel right relaxed when I go.

Really pissed, I am sitting in the parking lot right now. I made an appointment on a Friday, for Saturday afternoon the following day, and I had gotten a confirmation text. I had to cancel because of car issues,which I did over 24 hours notice. When I cancelled the appointment, I made another immediately with the same person, I was on the phone with. I show up to my appointment, witch I was pretty sure was 10:30 but, I called a few times in advance to make sure, no one answered the entire morning. When I showed up, I had no appointment. The woman at the desk, tried to excuse it as, me getting confused about which salon I called. Which is laughable, because I cancelled and rescheduled on the same phone call. Negative 5 stars from me.

Danielle always does a beautiful manicure on me. However, the green sparkly gel color was picked out by my boyfriend. Can you tell?

Brittney is the best! She does a great job and is very creative. I get compliments every time on how pretty my nails are. I would never even dream of going anywhere else. Great environment!

I keep giving this place a chance and they always fall short. I have had four nail techs over the years and only liked one - Whitlee. The person I had today, Tiffany, did a good job on my nails but lacked any personality. I kept trying to have a conversation with her to no avail. I looked at a clock and there was at least a half an hour that went by where she didnt say a single word to me. I would have liked nail art, but didnt ask for it because I was counting down how long I had left before I could leave. She also didnt ask me if I wanted to make another appointment.

The best nail salon Ive found in SLC. Darian has always been meticulous about getting my nails just right, she is so attentive, and does a beautiful job with my shellac nails. It is busy, most likely need to call ahead for an appointment, but it is so worth the planning. Another highlight: this salon is serious about cleanliness and hygiene.

Ive been going to Ali for a year now, and every appointment is great! From simple to complex, she is able to do it all, and shes fun to sit across from! The rest of the staff is nice and the space is clean and inviting. Go see Ali!

Every other week I enjoy my time I get to spend with my nail artist, Lora. I support The Nail Room, because I value that its owned by a womyn. I appreciate their work is quality, has an artistic touch and that I can have a conversation with my nail artist. If I wanted to be rushed out of my nail chair I would pay a lot less to not receive the quality I get from The Nail Room. I trust Lora and the nail gals at The Nail Room, if they dont get it right the first time, they will make it right, because they love their customers. I will continue to support a womyn business owner before anything else.

The Nail Room is the most fantastic place on earth and my true place of serenity. With the large windows that look out onto the street (great for people watching) and the modern and unique interior design (the owner laid all the tile herself!) it is truly an amazing place to spend a couple hours. Not only do I have my regular nail appts there (I have done acrylic and axxiom) but I had my entire bridal party done there as well. Sue, the owner, always has the newest collection of products and is truly an amazing and invested owner. It takes a special person to run a business with the charm she does. Her girls are the best. And if you truly want the best experience there, stop by the coffee shop and grab a latte first. :)

I recently moved here from Las Vegas and Ive been to a few nail salons out here that were trash. This salon was highest rated so I called the night before and scheduled an appt for the following day. Just had a full set with Tiffany and she was super personable and professional!!! Highly recommend! Ask for Tiffany!!!

I found the salon on Instagram and their work looked absolutely fabulous. So I called up for an appointment it was thrusday. I figured they would be busy and I would have to wait a few days at least, but the woman who I spoke with was so helpful and got me an appointmet the next day. I went and saw Tiffany and had her do a full set. I showed her some ideas I had and she helped me pick out the perfect acrylic powder and flowers. My nails are absolutly fantastic! I had some trouble with my card and she was very patient while I called my bank and figured out the issue.... I will recommend this salon to everyone!!! Thanks for the great service and nail techs!

Overpriced for poor quality nails and poor quality customer service. Nail polish overcoat not applied to edges of nail where there is exposed and inadequate layer of nail polish. Do not recommend and will not return.

Love this nail salon - Ali is the best (her Instagram is @nailroomali).I had originally visited this nail salon four or so years ago, and had a bad experience. But things seem much different now! I think it used to be a nail school, but they changed that.Ali has been doing my nails for about two years now - she is consistent, detail oriented, remembers the little things I like, and she is nice to talk to (and she is also ok with not talking if Im tired & not chatty).I have way less lifting and broken nails, (maybe once or twice in over two years) since Ali has been doing my nails (Im hard on my nails). On the rare occasions Ive needed something fixed, its been easy to arrange to get in the salon asap. When I was having my nails done elsewhere, it seemed like I had broken/lifting nails ALL the time - I dont know what Ali does different, but she does a much better job!Everyone there seems nice and seem to be local Utah girls.The whole salon now has the new, faster LED nail lamps, rather than the UV lamps.

Holy awesome - I am so happy we came here. We were out of towners coming for a wedding and the bride needed to be pampered. SueEllen, the owner, not only took our call on her personal time/cell phone - she juggled everyones schedules around so we could all start at the same time for pedicures. Each of us had a really nice service and I even got a follow up message from SueEllen to have fun at the wedding and thanking us for coming in. My acrylics look bomb too. Go here.
