Overall very good experience. A few minor issues: some clutter around patient rooms, the documentation software employed by the medical staff seemed buggy causing minor delays. All in all great and attentive care would certainly recommend.

Worst place to get your glasses from! They will not pick up your phone call!! You have to wait for 2 days to get in touch with someone or ask for a day off from your job to just get notified that your glasses are not ready!!. They up sale you so much so be careful with that!!

I found staff to be efficient, highly capable and caring. The selection of frames is better than I have found in other locations (My Eye Dr, Lenscrafters, etc). Excellent service, friendly staff, great selection of frames. I was new to contacts and they walked me through the whole process and gave me some handy tips. Very friendly and professional service! They really care about the satisfaction of their patients. Highly recommend both their Rockville Pike location and their Shady Grove location.

Ive been to both locations, and The Eye Center is the best optical in town. Nice glasses and exceptional customer service. I wont go anywhere else. They make you feel welcomed and not rushed. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Every part of this visit was warm and professional. I was treated with respect - throughout the visit from the waiting room to the exams. It was even more noticeable since my previous eye doctor visits can be rote and assembly line experiences. I was also very impressed with the level of care and skill - especially Dr. Sembrat.

I gave five stars for Dr. Allen. Dr Allen, MD, is extremely good. Been going to her for several years. Shes thorough and explains things well. However, three stars overall. The skills of the tech staff, the ones doing the glasses fittings and adjustments, have sadly declined. Previously, the technitions were extremely good , but lately, there has been some turn over and the two newer replacements are not of equal skill. This is an important factor in deciding weather or not to patronize an eye office. Hopefully, someone is monitoring feedback and the new replacements will gain in skill.

Very lovely office and helpful staff. Went there about two weeks ago because of a red eye. The doctors took care of that and I went back for a routine exam. I found a great pair of glasses for a great price and everyone was so friendly!

I have always had a fantastic experience at The Eye Center. I have been a patient of Dr. Feldman for over 20 years. I first went there as an emergency patient with a very painful corneal abrasion. They saw me immediately and followed me carefully until I was completely healed. After my medical condition was resolved I went back for my routine visit and got really high end glasses for a great price because I could use my vision plan. I have gone back every year since and never had a bad experience.

Outrageous fees. $474 for a 30 minute eye exam. $250 for a 5 minute contact lens fitting (92312), $174 eye exam (92014) and $50 refraction (92015). How can you charge $250 for contact lens fitting for someone who wears contacts and has an annual appointment? Balance billed $195 even with insurance.

I paid $140 premium for high refractive lens. But they made a pair of regular lens for me.Long waiting time, and you need to pay for parking. (Rockville Pike office)I totally dont feel any more professional service than Lens Crafter or Pearl Vision. This is my last first and most likely the last business with them.

Ive been here so many times and my glasses are still not right. The first time I told them that I cant wear progressives and they persuaded me to try them anyway. Then I had to return them because they didnt work. The second time I got fitted for bifocals and they drew the line far too low, which I told them, but they didnt adjust it - they told me it would be fine - but when the glasses came in, the line was far too low and the reading lenses were set too close. Then I had to argue with the person taking the measurements, who persuaded me that the lenses were probably fine, and that the line being too low was throwing me off. When the glasses came back, the line was better, but still too low and the reading lens focus was still wrong. They have told me that Ill have to pay for the next adjustment. Since Ill have to pay anyway, Im considering simply giving up and going somewhere else.

You remember that commercial for hour eyes or something where all of the employees at some eye glasses store are lying to their customers about their fancy frames and how they have x-ray powers? Well thats pretty much what this place is. They straight up lie to their customers about the lenses and frames they have, and try to make everything sound fancier than it is. Even worse than that when they get your prescription wrong theyll lie to you about it being correct only to have you have to go through a hassle and hassle again to fix it. Absolutely avoid this place at all costs. This isnt from just one bad experience. I got two separate prescriptions over the course of two years at this place. The first time was a disaster, but I thought maybe I just had one bad experience. The second time was somehow even worse! Its bad every time.

Rude receptionist and extremely questionable billing practices. Similar to some of the other reviews, they tried to charge extra money and when asked to explain why, did not provide a reasonable explanation. Left the office with the feeling that I was ripped off. I suggest to use another practice.
