Took my son here twice and he loved it! His dentist was so great with him and made us both feel comfortable. There care about their patients and also made sure to ask me if I had any concerns.Love that they have TV’s on the walls. Definitely helped keep my son distracted during his visits.

Exceptional staff! We have been to FOUR different pediatric dentists (my oldest 5 if that means anything). I have never felt right about a place until we came here. They are Great with littles. They show nervous kids what they’ll be doing, and what each took is. I was so happy and will 100% continue our giving our business here

I have loved this office and dentist since the moment I first brought my kids here last year. Dr. Bart came in on a WEEKEND night to help with my sons dental emergency and was so so kind. They go out of their way to make it the best experience possible. I couldn’t ask for a better place to take my kids.

I took my 2 and 1/2 year old son in today and Dr. Jacobsen was absolutely fantastic! My son was not in the best mood when we got there and Dr. Jacobsen took it really slow introducing him to the instruments, his light, even his gloves. He gave him time to get comfortable and I was shocked that my son let him clean his teeth and do X-rays! After a terrible experience with a different pediatric dentist, this was a complete 180. Couldn’t be happier and was VERY impressed!

This was the first time my 4-year-old had fillings done for cavities. I was more than impressed with the amount of time taken by both Dr Bart and his staff to explain things on a kids level to my daughter. Dr Bart was very competent and efficient while still being patient and working with my daughters concerns. He is also very personable. I would highly recommend him!

My almost 2 year old saw Dr Jacobsen today and I was amazed at how great our experience was! The staff was so friendly and Dr Jacobsen was amazing! My 2 year old actually enjoyed the dentist! And was so excited to show everyone his new toys and tooth brush! Actually excited to go back in 6 months.

I took my 9 yr old to see Dr. Skanchy for an orthodontics evaluation. She had an extra tooth bud that was causing some problems with her baby teeth not coming out and causing the permanent teeth growing in grow crooked. He was amazing as well as his staff. They were all extremely polite, on time, and Dr Skanchy had a great bedside manner. He was super thorough with the entire process. Even though she doesnt need braces right now we will be back in the future for them.He referred us to Dr Sloan next door to have the extra tooth bud extracted. Dr Sloan and his staff were equally amazing. They were fabulous with my daughter through the entire procedure and made sure she was as comfortable as she could possibly be. I was very impressed with both offices and would highly recommend them to anyone needing pediatric dentistry or orthodontics.

Love this dentist! I have four daughters and it is always a production, but Dr. Bart and his team were great. We were in and out fast. The staff was great at putting my daughters at ease!

My kids LOVE going here. Dr. Bart Sloan makes us feel at ease and I feel confident that we are getting quality dental work done for an affordable price. He is so much more thorough than any dentist we have been to and takes time with us to explain everything. I feel like he really knows what he is talking about and very knowledgeable. The staff is very friendly and professional and they go above and beyond. The dentist and staff came in on a holiday when my son had a toothache and needed a tooth pulled and we had nowhere else to go. (This is how we found out about them and wont go back to our old dentist now.) The wait is never long and they are always able to get us in when needed. Another one of my sons chipped his front lower tooth and they fixed it so you cant even tell. They got us in immediately. Great atmosphere, great with kids. We feel at home here!

I wasnt happy with another pediatric dentist in town so I just switched my kids here. We had a great 1st experience with them! The staff was so good at explaining things and helping my kids feel comfortable! My kids had to have some cavities filled and I felt I paid much less out of pocket compared to our last dentist.

My kids love Jacobsen Pediatric Dentistry. I recently took them elsewhere and my kids have been begging to go back. They do a thorough cleaning and take more time than the other place we went to. They also let my young kids sit next to each other for cleanings which is a huge plus for me to not leave my oldest in a room by himself.Update- we went a few days ago and again exceeded expectations. My 3 year old asked me this morning if he could go back to the dentist. (He had x rays and a thorough cleaning) He loved the waiting area and getting a token afterwards. He also watched Disney Plus during his cleaning x rays and exam. My 6 year old has a harder time because of dental trauma when he was one, but he didn’t cry or complain during his cleaning and exam. He will have one cavity filled in January with laughing gas plus he willget sealant.

Recently moved out to Herriman about year ago and was worried about finding a good Dentist for my son. He had to have some significant work done and our last place was great so I worried about finding another place. However, Jacobsen Dental has been great. The staff are friendly, good with my son, and he really enjoys the atmosphere (the toys really). I would highly recommend Jacobsen Dental to anyone in the area.

This place is perfect. I had no idea that sealants were covered 100% by most dental carriers. I was sitting with my dental policy in the waiting area and Dr. Bart knew our coverage and showed it to me on the page. This is the place to go for great, knowledgeable staff and amazing dental work. Dr. Bart is on time and has a great rapour with adults and children. It is very easy to schedule appointments for three kids at a time. The aquarium is thrilling. The video games are great for the kids when they are waiting their turn. The dental care was handled with efficiency and acuity.

I came here for a second opinion for my 4 and 2 year old. I Was so happy with Dr Bart and his explanations and how he gives different treatment options. We have been back a few times with some dental trauma (crazy kids) and my kids don’t dread coming. We will continue to come back!

A friend recommended that I take my son to Dr Bart to have his 2 baby teeth extracted before he gets braces on. My son was extremely nervous about having it done, but from the moment we walked in the office, Dr Barts staff made him feel comfortable. This is THE place for pediatric dentistry. Dr. Jacobsen and his staff are professional and knowledgable, yet fun and welcoming. Our 4 yr old son has had two procedures done here and both times they were so great to explain the what the procedure entailed, what to expect afterwards, and even helped us with insurance questions. My poor son was nervous going into the appointment but they made him feel comfortable and at ease- making him laugh and smile throughout the visit. Seriously the best dentist we have ever been to! My daughter typically has to be put under to have any work done but Dr. Bart is so amazing and great she needed non of that! They were able to do her tooth clean out and crowning quickly and efficiently and she didn’t even make a peep! So greatfull for this office and the amazing staff!

Great practice, Dr Jacobsen is skilled and great with kids. He takes the time to give you a thorough explanation of whats hes doing and then assessing the situation with you in down to earth way. My daughter is 2 1/2 and has absolutely hated the dentist every time we have gone. I finally switched to Jacobsen Pediatric after she chipped a tooth and needed to get it pulled. We went in there to determine what needed to be done with her tooth, and the staff was awesome and patient with her, was able to get her x-rays, and take a look at her tooth. My daughter still fought a bit and cried, but was much better than at her previous dentist. The day of her surgery, the staff did everything they could to help keep her calm and happy while we waited out turn. She was excited to be there. Now she talks about the dentist and how much she liked them and tells everyone proudly that they took out her tooth.

Dr. Jacobsen and his staff are always so kind and efficient that all 3 of my kids actually get excited to go to the dentist. They have video games in the waiting area and a couple of fish tanks that my littles have loved. They also have in-ceiling movies and prizes for after the visit. They make it a fun and positive experience each visit, and we are in and out in no time. We are so grateful to have such a fantastic pediatric dental office close to home!

My 5 year old little boy who has a diagnosis of Autism, went to the office for a cleaning, he got the cleaning, flossing and fluoride done!!!!! Due to his diagnosis this was the first time ever we were able to get him on the examination chair and got any work done. This was a very successful appointment. We had a great experience here. We were referred by another dentist when our daughter had a growth on her gums that were were worried about. Dr. Jacobsen did so well at easing her fears and mine, and made us feel so comfortable. After poking around for a little bit he told us it was nothing to worry about and it should go away on its own, but if not he would be able to remove it. The next day it had dissappeared completely after weeks of being there ! After that one appointment we are always being invited to the fun activities that they put on for their patients for free. We love this dentist! My son was lip tied and Dr Bart was so great to work with! During the procedure when he was telling my husband and I about what was going on he used the word ‘liquid’ to describe the blood so my son didn’t hear the word blood and freak out! I loved that! Seriously one of the greatest pediatric dentist offices ever. I’ve been to 4 different offices (due to lots of moves), and this one was truly amazing. My kids are normally TERRIFIED and those kids that just scream and don’t cooperate at the dentist whatsoever. But here, they didn’t have a single problem! It all started with a fun waiting room. That got them comfortable with the office, so once it was their turn to go back, they were calm and collected. The during their cleaning, the hygienist explained everything to them (they are 4 and 2) in a way that they felt comfortable. They also got to watch their favorite Netflix show during the whole cleaning as well. The dentist was also great. He explained things to me that no other dentist has and said it in terms that I understood. The. The kids got prizes at the end, which they cart around everywhere they go. I highly recommend this office!

Seriously the best pediatric dentist out there! I brought my 6 year old son in for four fillings. Dr Matt and his staff are great at making the kids feel at ease and Dr Matt is a perfectionist. You can go to this office and be confident that your kids will be well cared for and get the best treatment possible!

I cannot say enough good things about Jacobsen Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Jacobsen was so great with my daughter - she had to have a tooth extracted and she was very nervous because her last tooth extraction at a different dentist was a horrible experience. Dr Jacobsen took time to explain each step to her and made her feel comfortable. I am so grateful! The rest of the staff was also great. I highly recommend!!!

We had a wonderful experience at South Hills Pediatric Dentistry (Dr. Bart). They have a fish tank, movie area and play/coloring station in the lobby. They even had a video game station for older kids. Every staff member we came across truly helped make my daughter feel comfortable. Dr. Bart was awesome! He took time to show her her x-rays and how to effectively brush her teeth. He was really kind and spoke to her a lot to get to know her more. It really helped put her at ease and made her feel special. I was very impressed with our visit. She already told me she is excited to go back.

South Hills Pediatric Dentistry is a beautiful office with a kind and accommodating staff. There are plenty of activities to keep kids busy, but weve never had to wait long. My three-year-old was excited to return because Dr. Sloan and his staff make him feel comfortable and take an interest in him personally. He always leaves proud of himself for taking care of his teeth and excited to continue doing so. My one-year-old also had her first visit and even though she typically screams when anyone gets close to her mouth, she hardly cried because they were gentle and efficient. I also appreciate the time Dr. Sloan takes to educate me on ways I can help my kids keep their teeth healthy. I would recommend Dr. Sloan and his office to anyone.

Due to several insurance policy changes over the last few years, my wife and I have had the opportunity to get to know several dentists in the area. I have developed a disdain for dentists in general during this time. However, after seeing how much Dr. Matt Jacobsen cleans, I thought it was worth a shot. Great staff, great with the kids, great overall experience - maybe our kids wont dislike dentists as much as I do. We will be going here regularly.
