Dr S. and his staff were amazing. Friendly and informative. He explained things to me from start to finish. He let me know what to plan on and what to expect without giving false hope. I had all my wisdom teeth still in and my mouth was crammed full of teeth in all directions, if I opened my mouth it looked like an episode of shark week in there. I now have true smile and at 40 yrs old I am not ashamed to show my teeth, the transformation was beyond my expectations. Thank you Dr. S AND STAFF!!!!!!!

We were at the dentist this morning, and my child’s dentist said that she needed an orthodontic consultation. The orthodontist at South Hills Orthodontics simply walked over and did the consultation right then. Additionally, my child needed a simple procedure, and he performed it on the spot, free of charge! Would 1000% recommend Dr.Skanchy to anyone looking for braces, specifically Invisalign. Even though I am well past the typical age that most people get braces (18+), him and his staff treated me with just as much respect as any other patient. His office is also extremely knowledgeable and most appointments were done within the half hour, very efficient and did not waste anytime, which I appreciated immensely.Also, Dr.Skanchy doesnt rush anything or do a half hearted job. What Invisalign recommended for the final positioning of my teeth was a little off on the bottom set, so Dr.Skanchy went ahead and added in some extra weeks to make them look straighter and fix any small details. He is all for making sure you walk out with a perfect smile by the end! His staff were also some of the friendliest people Ive ever met! If I have any opportunity in the future to recommend a place to friends, families, strangers, etc. it would be here!

So happy with this place. After a not so pleasant experience somewhere else they’re a breath of fresh air. I had adult braces and spent a lot of money on them at a different location only to have my teeth not turn out as planned as well as start shifting less than a year after removal. I’m almost finished with my treatment with Dr. Skanchy and am so impressed that he is actually hands on (it’s sad to be impressed when your orthodontist actually is the one doing the work) and also at his honesty with billing. In the short period of time I’ve worked with him he’s resolved issues that were never resolved in my previous treatment. I would 100% recommend them If you or your kiddo needs orthodontic care. My whole family will be getting their treatments done here from now on.

This place was absolutely amazing. Great people who know what they are doing. You’re teeth WILL GET STRAIT NO MATTER WHAT YOUR TEETH LOOK LIKE!! My before and after pictures are absolutely night and day. They also have payment plans so that way you can afford their service. The experience does not get better, maybe it can be matched but it cannot get better. This is the place you should choose if you are looking to get your teeth strait. Wether you choose Invisalign or braces. They are same cost for both. I am not getting paid to leave this review I just wanted the world to know that this place has done me SO GOOD!

Convenient appointments always seem to be available. I could go on and on. I honestly cant think of anything their office could do better...they are amazing! With two kids in braces, weve had a lot of visits to South Hills Orthodontics! The staff is great - very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Weve never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for our appointments. When it was time for my oldest to get braces I went to a couple of different consultations before deciding to go with Dr. Skanchy. He answered all of my questions and was very patient with my son who also had some questions. The staff is very nice and welcoming. They were flexible with me as I over booked my consultation with another appointment. They were very accommodating to let me come back and finish my sons consultation when it was my fault for scheduling wrong. We have been their patient for a couple of months now and they continue to always go above and beyond.
