Do not go there if you actually need help. You would be better off checking into Holly Hill. And no do not comment on my review about being sorry this happened or to contact you to see how we can make this better. It shouldnt have happened to begin with. Psychiatric hospital, heavy name for a money pit. If you have a patient who clearly needs help, do not base assistance on financial capacity. Clearly people that need this place are in a crisis. Job loss, mental issues, substance abuse. And because I cant give you any money the first day I cannot attend your services? To pay for your stonework and cheap boxed lunch. Please just go to a meeting and leave this place be. I wouldnt pay even if I had the means to. The medical field is failing a large group of individuals that need them and this place is a blazing glory of an example. Disgusted.

I was resistant to the process at first but once I began going to the group therapy sessions I opened up & realized things about myself I had been repressing. My therapist Jamie was a huge part of that. I began to look forward to going to her sessions because she was so easy to openly express ourselves. She was everyone’s favorite Therapy session. She was extremely helpful all the time even out of sessions she was available to speak with. Kudos to the process. Kudos to Jamie ❤️

The front desk staff were unfriendly, uninviting, and kept staring at me and my relative, whom I was bringing there for outpatient services. It made him feel uncomfortable, and not want to receive services here. On top of that, he answered the questionnaire about symptoms he was having which were consistent with both covid and withdrawal, except that the he mentioned the symptoms had been intermittent for several months. Not just within the 3 week time span that wouldve possibly indicated this is something viral. On top of that he had a blood pressure of 170/112 (another withdrawal symptom). And the nurse still told him they cant see him until he comes back with a negative test. She was also insensitive and unclear in her instructions. Im a nurse too, and Im a advocate, this wasnt right. We will not be coming back to this place. I hope staff isnt always like this, and I hope others have a better experience than we did.

I gave it one star because I had to in order to post. My daughter had an appointment for 2 pm assessment. We waited until 3 and after asking was told running behind. Read the reviews sitting there realizing people had been waiting for 3 1/2 hours. The reviews are spot on. It was not nice experience and we left without help. This is not a way to treat people with a mental health crisis going on. They had all our paperwork and contact information and I had asked for a supervisor because Ashley at the front desk was one of the coldest people Ive ever talked to. Zero compassion. If you hate it that bad, then quit. No one even called to check on her. Wow!! You guys can do better than this.

Made an appointment for a family member and had barely stepped into the building before the receptionist yelled that they had no beds and couldnt help us and to come back tomorrow. Came back early in the morning and waited five hours only to be told that we shouldnt have been turned away at our previous appointment and they had given away the available beds to people who came after us, and on top of that they let us wait when they were filled up instead of informing us there was no more room. Extremely venerable people are here looking for help and the staff clearly cant be bothered to communicate. People who struggle with mental health and addiction deserve the same basic respect as anyone else and I think Triangle Springs would do well to remember that.

The people who gave positive reviews must be staff because this is no treatment facility. They only get a one because only a few staff were pleasant. They violate your state and federal rights and no individual therapy is given. This is more like a IVC racket to take your money when they have no reason to hold you. They should be closed down.

I do thanks them because without this program I couldn’t feel competent to keep going in the road of life. Coming here was a great decision to make, I felt always safe, protected, and understood. If you have an addiction problem DO NOT GO HERE!!! This may be a place to treat psychiatric patients but not patients with addiction. They NEVER called back when I called to check on my family member. They are here to make money, thats it. I could go on and on with my dissatisfaction with this place. Im just glad after 5 days my family member got out of there. They really need a REAL HR DEPARTMENT that will address the issues this institution has. We had a 4:30pm appointment for an assessment. When we asked at 6:00pm how much longer it would be they told us there were 4 people in front of us and it would be at least 9:00pm. What’s the point of scheduling an appointment time? Why do they make it so darn difficult to get mental health treatment? Prior reviews don’t lie.....you will wait an inordinate amount of time at this place. SMH.

This place is a scam. They seem to violate your rights and federal and state laws. They can and will act genuine at first, and lure you in until they lock you into a room and treat you lesser than dirt. They will neglect you treatment for your medication no matter the condition you are in and roll their eyes at you while you plead for help. This happened to a friend of mine not too long ago, and This place should get reported.

One star bc I had no choice. My sister was taken in for detox of illegal substances & bipolar disorder...which triggered a bipolar psychotic episode. She was released after nearly one week, allowed to call anyone at the time she arrived (which never happened at a treatment center or behavioral health hospital, during detox or a psychotic episode), & released into a sober living house. After her first night in the house, she was taken to the hospital for her psychotic episode, which was not treated at triangle springs. She left the sober living house with only her purse which shed already removed all the contents from, including most of her meds. Thankfully, someone at the house took her to a hospital where they are trying to take care of her appropriately. She couldve died, waking in the road she believed was a sidewalk!! They are truly in it for the money. She was so delusional she didnt know what meds she was on, thought she was being locked up & kept from family, thought evil spirits were working at the hospital, etc. All her life, no treatment facility or hospital has ever let her out until she was clear headed enough to leave. She was neglected in her treatment, was given NOT ONE session if individual therapy, and let go while she was delusional and a danger to herself. I would NEVER refer a loved one to this facility.

While I think that once you are seen it would be a good experience it hurt my heart to see people asking for help and having to sit in the lobby for upwards of 6+ hours. This leads to many leaving instead of seeking they help they are likely FINALLY trying to get. The front desk was empty most of the evening and the staff did not as much as make eye contact with anyone in the lobby to let them know what was going on. They lock the doors at night which makes sense but there is noone monitoring it so people are turning away. I do not know how their treatment is but the way they handle admission needs to be addressed.

I was there for being suicidal but I was put in the detox/substance abuse/addiction unit. I came in wanting to do the partial hospitalization program but they told me I could not leave for 3 days. In reality, I wasn’t able to leave for 6-7 days. Some of the people who worked there were nice, most were rude. Overall an okay start to recovery. Seemed like the doctors saw patients super quickly and opted for a quick diagnosis and pushing medicine. Group therapy sessions were somewhat helpful but could be more engaging in conversations and offering real feedback to help cope. Other group sessions are run by staff that are not therapists, which is absolutely ridiculous. Much of the time the feedback from therapists seemed one-dimensional. Offered CBT workbooks but did not follow-through on the completion, which is a shame. Super quick to take your money, and I honestly feel awful for anyone that comes here without decent insurance. They do not do a good job at communicating and/or coordinating your discharge. Wish they put more emphasis on allowing time for physical fitness. Also think that the policies related to food/beverages could use improvement. I did wait in the lobby for 8+ hours after my scheduled appointment for assessment. Be aware that patients coming in with more severe and time-sensitive crises (i.e. suicide) take precedence, so be prepared to wait.

The only reason I gave this establishment a one rating is because of the wonderful therapist! This establishment cares more about taking your money than making sure their patients actually get better. Having to place a family member in the care of this facility is already stressful enough, however having to deal with management who could care less just adds fuel to the fire. All I can say is that therapist that work there are amazing! Mrs. Ashley Brown was an exceptional therapist! Its easy to go to school and be taught how to do your job, but one thing you cant teach people is how to have compassion. Mrs. Brown was compassionate, professional, friendly, and devoted to making sure her patients got the proper care and treatment that they deserved. All the therapist at the location care about their patients and genuinely want to see them get better. My hat goes off to all of them. Triangle Springs never contacted his doctor or requested his medical records at all. then Triangle Springs asked me to come out and sign a plan for my son on his third day there. they gave me another patients paper work and then asked me to come back the next day to sign the plan. the next day i signed a plan at 1pm that stated my son was disorganized in his thinking and showed sign of serve mental health issues and that they had been in contact with his doctor . the plan stated that they had contacted my sons doctor, which was later proven to be a lie. at 1:30 pm i was notified of my sons release the next morning his doctor called me because he had never spoken with triangle springs until they received a call at 1:30 the day before his release. the doctor stated that my son was no where near ready for release. i was informed they the had not given him any medication since they administered the wrong medication but they decided to release him anyway because as a facility that specializes in mental health that they can not help him after four days and they were releasing him against his doctors orders. i called a nd spoke with a manager (Andrew) who told me that the average patient stay is three-five days (the average successful stay should be 30 days). if you are a alcohol and drug or mental health patient do not go here and give these people your money as they have no interest in your long term recovery as every one knows the average stay for successful drug and alcohol is thirty days at the average upfront cost of 30,000.00. when i mentioned that the patients should have an average of thirty days i was rushed off the phone and told that they couldnt do anything for him. when i brought up that their mission statement expresses their concern for long term recovery and that is seemed as if the facility was primarily focused on turning as many patients through the mill. as soon as the insurance paperwork has cleared they have no further interest in your recovery or mental health.sign retired form the Veteran Healthcare System and recognized a paper mill when i see it.EW

We were waiting in the lobby of the facility, and the doors to leave were locked. We could not leave, our son was getting agitated, and there was no one available to speak to or let us out. I was committed involuntarily. While I was there for mental illness, I was placed into the detox ward. When it came to group sessions, the small handful of us that were there didnt fit in. I was brought in at 4 pm and didnt get into my unit until 6pm. There was no explanation as to how things are. Its just heres your bed and the commons area. I didnt know if I could get towels or toiletries until I talked to a fellow patient. Some of the staff are helpful, some. There is this one nurse in particular, I dont know her name but she had a Louis Vuitton Headband who was incredibly rude and disrespectful to every single one of us. There were patients who would get aggressive which would frighten some of us and nothing and no one would do anything about it. We get that we are patients, but its like a prison in there. We are humans and some of us are trying to better ourselves. Some of us didnt have a choice. The worst part about my 7 days there is being approached by the financial lady about my bill. She said everything is due at the time of service so I can pay then with her or on discharge day. My estimated cost to pay was over $3000 so me, a student working part time, how do I have that much money to pay it up front. When I told her I dont have that kind of money, her face changed expressions and was very irritated. I ended up paying a thousand up front, but she really wasnt helping or reassuring me about other options or ways to pay for my treatment. I over heard her talking to another patient that shes just there to get her money. I am there because I nearly killed myself and I am suppose to be getting better. How can I do that with you coming to me demanding money? There is so much more negative things. But the food was good and group therapy as well as recreational therapy was amazing.

So I am there from about 8:30 - 2:30.New people are always joining the group as other members leave. I had a personality conflict with a new member. Ask about getting a different group and talking with a manager or supervisor. No one could direct me to a person in charge other than the CEO. 100s of people reporting to one person and who all problems are directed towards is a unintelligent train wreck of a business. So far I can not get in a new group and have seen I was recommend for the next level down program (IOP) even though I am no where near done with this program. No one seems to know anything about what is going on there.Highly Not Recommended. For what it is worth, I do think the staff cares about the patients though.Watch out for the fake reviews down below. My husband has suffered from chronic alcoholism and discussed wanting to attend rehab, but i was hesitant fir him to jump into that course of action. His addiction took a turn for the worse and for about a week he stayed buzzed 24/7. By Friday he had hidden alcohol all over the house, refusing to tell me where it was. Friday night i found him passed out and monitored him all night to make sure he kept breathing. Saturday morning is where Triangle Springs comes in. With the help of a close friend, we convinced him he needed to get help and were drawn to TS because they are open 24 hours and can admit for detox/inpatient treatment. Upon arriving, his breathalyzer was nearly 4x the legal limit (0.26). The clinician spoke to him and asked if he wanted to be there and he told her no (obviously). So she sent him on his way with a plan to come back Monday morning (almost 48 hr later) for therapy. When i asked the clinician if she had any advice for how i can keep him sober in the meantime she told me he doesnt seem like he wants treatment and hes an adult so theres nothing you can do. This place needs new management and new staff. They are very unorganized at the very start of your visit. You wait from 5 to 8 hours to just to get assessed. Then their assessment counselors make the wrong determination about you and your care. They sent my daughter home saying that she simply had OCD when I explained that was not her condition they still didnt seem to care. They have only 77 beds to serve the people so they look at your situation and make a wrong assessment based on how long they think they will keep you there and how much money they will make. This facility is obviously has helped some people but what they definitely need to do is speed up their process for people in crisis. No one should wait more than 2 hours to be seen when they are having a mental crisis. While I was waiting myself and others decided the wait was entirely to long and left. The front desk staff is a joke, cant see how they were even hired for the job. Waited an hour before I even got paperwork and trust me having an appointment at this place means next to nothing cause it will still take more than 5 hours to get seen to just begin the process.I am extremely unhappy with this place and would never recommend it to anyone I care about. Honestly, the IOP program was a complete waste of my time and money. My behaviors and symptoms got worse while in the program, but nothing was ever said or done to help me.The intake process was drawn out and I had to have two assessments which each took hours of waiting to do. There was a lack of communication with me about my start date and when I didnt show on my first day (which I was never informed about), the staff member that called me literally laughed when I mentioned that I was given the wrong information at my second assessment. Not appropriate at all. I felt belittled and ashamed.People in the group would come a day or two and then just stop showing up. I realize this isnt at the fault of TS but the lack of consistency was bothersome. Other staff members would interrupt group at least one to two sessions per week. We were scheduled to start at 8:30 but the staff have a meeting each day at 8:30 so we never started on time. The material covered was not very personalized or helpful. Group sessions were quite disorganized and those that were checking in virtually often delayed the group process because of sending materials, technical difficulties, etc. There were days that we would take breaks between groups but those would last quite a long time and other days we were dismissed early so I didnt even get the time in that I paid for. There were several issues that other group members brought up about a lack of communication from and between staff as well which I found very frustrating. These were rarely resolved. At least once HIPPA was violated on a patient when personal file materials were sent to her work office by mistake. I was never given an official discharge date and never received a requested copy of my treatment plan (not that they actually treat you for anything). No one ever checked in with me about my symptoms/behaviors nor my progress (or lack there of). My outpatient therapist and the group therapist had a hard time communicating.Such a bust. Now my outpatient therapist wants me to try a different program at a higher level of care. This could have been prevented, I feel, if I received appropriate help and treatment. I may still use TS for emergency inpatient if needed, but I will never use nor suggest PHP or IOP.

I have been to over 34 facilities in last ten years. This by far was the nicest (appearance), and best made food. Im a very picky eater, yet I met with the Food Director and head chef. Any place you go to theres always someone who doesnt like their job, but that one person shouldnt affect the whole. Overall one of the best places Ive ever been. Also the Out Pat. Pro. Was great.

The wait once you get there just to get to your room is never less than 5 hours, they tell you whatever you want to hear to get you there but won’t discuss finances until your about to leave and it’s more expensive than the last 28 day program I did. Once your in they never let anyone sign out, personally I had more freedom at a minimum security prison than I did here. The only thing that was consistently good was the food but all together I would strongly recommend going somewhere else and I would never go back.

I would recommend this to anyone who has fallen on hard times and just needs a break to focus on their mental health. The only issue I had was with other patients that were a little bit more unstable, but the staff was very attentive and was able to defer uncomfortable interactions.

I was considering setting up an assessment for a family member per my counselor’s recommendation. With all the consistent complaints I just read, I will not contact your facility for my loved one. This may be a means of financial stability for your facility but these are people we love and being that it is hard to leave them in the care of strangers who seems to not care about their wellbeing does not sit well with me. From someone in the medical fields, why chose a profession if you are not doing it from the heart?

Triangle Springs has its share of struggles, as do many centers who treat similar patient populations. Nonetheless I am giving TS 4 stars for some of their amazing staff. The psychiatry staff is emphatically underwhelming, but they have one counselor who is an absolute stand out. Gina led my IOP group and if this review were only for her it would 6/5. Its a shame that getting good mental health care is so hard, and I think thats part of why TS has the struggled they do (that and psychiatrists just all seem to be aloof and uncaring), but Gina is kind, good, insightful, encouraging, and charming. She made me feel safe to share my feelings and consistently went above and beyond to provide 1:1 help to any group member who was having a hard day. Shes a treasure and TS is really lucky to have her.

I detoxed here before going into a 28 days program. The intake process is pretty bad but once I got to the floor, the staff was so compassionate and Dr. Meyer is just amazing. I felt like they really cared about my comfort and wanted the best for me. The only negative experience was with Sable who I felt was pushy about where I would go next for long term treatment. So as far as that goes, make sure you advocate for yourself. But I highly recommend this facility if you need help!

The phone systems for patients are absolutely horrible. There’s so much static you can barely even understand what the patient is saying. Also why is there such a lack of communication? I asked for a phone call back from a patients therapist to receive information on how they were doing, when they would be released, and the treatment plan for when they get out. Why have I not heard back? At $1000 a day I would expect more.

If your goal is to invest several thousand dollars into your healthcare just to be traumatized by the several inmates they take in everyday this is the place for you. I am way worse off than I was when admitted due to those they admit from jail assaulting other patients. One person who came from jail assaulted three patients before they called a code for her. I specifically asked before being admitted if they accepted violent patients and I was told “no we do not.” The lie detector test determined that was a lie. They can post that bs about contacting them to talk about my bad experience to “help resolve it” if they want they had their chance to listen to the first two patients who was assaulted by that woman from jail but they didn’t. How do you resolve having more panic attacks and nightmares as a result of hospitalization? Are they gonna give me my money back or pay for the increased counselor visits I have now to address the trauma I experienced? I think not.Now I have an expensive hospital bill and all I got in return where worse panic attacks and more nightmares. I sincerely wish I had never asked for help.On top of that due to miscommunications between the dietitian and the cafeteria about my medically necessary diet I missed seven meals while I was there. I got to sit there and watch other people eat while being hungry. I got so hungry that I quite literally ate my service dog’s dog treats because they were soft and gluten free which is what my dietary restrictions should have been.Furthermore, it costs $2100 to stay here per day and that is just the facility fee and you get to have roommate for this price. One of those roommates could very possibly be a violent inmate fromjail. The psychiatrist, social workers, PAs, nurse practitioners, and dietitians charge their own fees in addition to the facility fee. So that dietitian that caused me to miss meals, I get to pay her in a separate bill. I get to pay the psychiatrist $610. I have two PA bills for $235 and $145 each. The separate fees add up to over $1000 in addition to what I paid for the facility fee that my insurance did not cover. This was different than what they told me when I asked how much it would cost for me to stay here. The facility fee is due while you are there and if you can’t pay it the bill automatically goes to collections. The individual providers bill you later.I wasn’t allowed to use my nebulizer while I was there. I was told using my inhaler was the same as using my nebulizer. According my my pulmonologist my asthma was bad enough that the inhaler really didn’t help me when because I would cough most of it back out. If you have any other health issue other than mental health they can’t accommodate it even when you being your own medical devices and medication. I had to wait while having an asthma attack for the doctor on call even allow me to use my rescue inhaler because you need a doctors order for everything which sounds reasonable until you are in an emergency situation with breathing issues and they take hours to submit the order. If you get up early and sit by the nurses station in the morning before the shift change you’ll get to hear the nurses gossip about other patients. The workers are not allowed to have their phones on them but they did anyways. Paying patients are not because if we had our phones we would violate HIPAA. I wonder why we as paying customers can’t have our phones but those we pay thousands of dollars to don’t have to follow the rules?I tried PHP when I was discharged. If you’ve been in therapy before you won’t learn anything new you haven’t already learned in therapy. On my first day there I came in an hour early and they tried to tell me that according to hospital policy I couldn’t have my service animal. I told them federal and a state law says I can. They seemed to think hospital policy trumps the law. When I asked for that in writing they actually decided to do their research and realized they were wrong. I waited for two hours befor they came to that conclusion. Talk about discrimination.

Triangle Springs wasn’t able to accommodate my physical disability even though it’s required by law. I left the facility more a danger to myself than when I arrived. I was forced to constantly advocate for myself and I was made fun of and called “stuck up,” by staff when I asked to have my needs met. It was disheartening. I went to Old Vineyard in the past and had an incredible (helpful and life changing experience) I have sung their praises to folx struggling since. I have been seeing a psychologist for almost two years due to mental issues from a severe car accident/brain injury and my boyfriend’s passing. They referred me to the partial in patient hospitalization program here after I had a random breakdown and missed work for almost a week. My doctor called Triangle Springs while I was in her office and had me schedule my initial intake. The woman on the phone from TS was kind and empathetic and didn’t seem annoyed by my crying which is important for anyone dealing with mental illness, and got me on their schedule for the next evening.I had accepted this was the treatment I needed, but was feeling uneasy and a little resistant going in for this initial assessment. However after the 3 hours of questioning/discussion and feedback, I left feeling more understood and educated than I have ever felt leaving a psychiatrist appointment. They could have easily taken my money and accepted me into the program, but were completely honest and said they did not believe that type of therapy was what I needed and instead recommended getting a new primary care physician, seeing a counselor and attending a grief support group. They didn’t waste my time by telling me to go to some generic provider or facility that they were affiliated with, which I greatly appreciated. Also, up until then I really hadn’t been able to find any support groups, and they gave me information for one that was specifically related to my situation. I don’t understand how my psychiatrist never mentioned anything of the sort. The recommendation from TS has helped me so much and know this is solely because someone actually listened to what I was saying and paid attention to the issues I was having and what I’d already tried that wasn’t working for me. I sincerely appreciate those 3 hours at Triangle Springs and for the woman who did my assessment... I am beyond thankful for your compassion, empathy, honesty and desire to help others. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Based on the help I received in a single assessment, I imagine the benefits someone getting treatment here would be rare compared to other facilities and would be highly beneficial and effective.

Let me start this by saying that the care you receive while you are an inpatient is really the best you will find in the Raleigh area. However, I struggled to give this place even 2 stars. My husband was admitted here when he had a manic episode. He was so far gone, that I thought he would never leave the facility. Luckily, that wasnt the case. They provided very good care and got him on the medication that he needed. Everything else about Triangle Springs is a nightmare. As his wife, they would not give me any information on his care plan or diagnosis. We even had a signed HIPPA form. I only knew what he told me on our visits. There was no communication from the nurses, staff or doctors as to how much it cost (until they called me to pay the $4k (after insurance) per week bill), or how long he would be staying. I was allowed to bring up his belongings (with limitations, of course), but they ended up giving the clearly labeled bag to the wrong person. That caused my husband a lot of anxiety (which contributed to his mania) because he thought I had forgotten about him. Visitation was every evening for an hour, but they frequently cut it short to 45 min just because they felt like it. There was never an emergency that prevented us from going back on time. Also- every time I called with a question, I never received a call back. They have a patient line so you can communicate with your loved one, but my husband NEVER received any of my messages. The phone system they have is terrible. When my husband was able to call to talk to me and our children, the line was so static that we could barely understand what he was saying. They had told him 3 different release dates as well, and when they would come and go without explanation, he would get even more anxious. When they finally got their plan together and he was released, that was when even bigger issues arose. His father and I met with a therapist at their Saturday family meeting that they held weekly. We were able to ask generic questions about our loved ones care and how the facility operated with many other people that were family of other patients, so it wasnt very specific. The therapist explained how the outpatient care worked, how there were 4 levels of outpatient care and that they were NOT a step plan, meaning you didnt have to start with the most intense then work your way down. She said you could chose which level of support you needed. She also stated that it was a decision made by the therapist and the family alongside the patient. We live over an hour away from the facility, so knowing that we could step down to the 3 times a week care, and be able to fill in with a therapist closer to home the other couple days as needed was our plan. When I checked my husband out of the inpatient program, they told him he had no choice and had to do the php program, meaning driving over an hour each way (more in rush hour traffic) 6 days a week from 8-3. Mind you he was heavily medicated, just had a complete manic breakdown, and now they want him to drive himself to the facility like this for 2 weeks. I spoke to the outpatient director who informed me that there is no choice; that the program is a step program and you have to start at the partial hospitalization for 2 weeks, then step down to the 3 day a week plan, then step down to the next one, every 2 weeks. She didnt care that he was unable to drive himself. She didnt care that we lived so far away. We have two little ones and I work a full time job. She told me that if he didnt go into the php program, then they could no longer help him. It was all or nothing. That, to me, didnt sound like a place that truly cared about their patients. They wanted the thousands of dollars it cost per week as long as they could get it. We ended up putting him into the program because we had no other option at the time. It was weeks before I could get him in with a psychiatrist. The outpatient program was very impersonal. He went 3 days and felt it made him worse. Go here for inpatient care, but find somewhere else for outpatient.

In reality Triangle Springs would not even rate one star for its recent inability to care for our daughter. The staff was completely incompetent and unresponsive. Family phone calls went unanswered; counselors were unresponsive to patient concerns; Psych doctors were negligent; Staff was rude and the care offered by their website is a total sham.Incredibly, the psych Dr never actually had a visit of any kind with our daughter. Despite the fact that she has a history of mental health issues, the Dr never bothered to investigate her history. Nor did he get her medical history which is significant as she has a number of allergies and physical challenges. The only subject the counselor explored with her was the exit plan. In the end, she was released without any plan at all.We begged Triangle Springs not to release her until her family could get her further treatment. Unlike the website advertises, we were told Triangle Spring doesn’t actually provide extended treatment for mental health or addiction because they do not have the staff or facilities. We also begged that they not release her until she was stabilized on her medications. The CEO promised us these two issues would be addressed before her release. She lied. They released our daughter with no home, no money, no family or support network as we live out of state, and no plan other than to look up an AA meeting.Unfortunately, she spent days on the street. She also had a severe allergic reaction to the meds they prescribed and had to be hospitalized. Thank God we found her in time.Triangle Springs should be liable for their criminally negligent and completely incompetent time my daughter spent there. Not only was there no care for her mental health and addiction issues, but their demonstration of a combination of indifference and medical malpractice further increased our daughter’s suffering and ill health as well as put her at great risk for her life itself. We could not be more shocked, discouraged, disappointed and outraged at Triangle Springs.

They will drug you loved one and have them sign papers, especially if they find out what insurance you have. We over heard the therapist saying they not coming out to talk to anyone, and a Doctor say he doesnt want to see anyone face today. If I could give them a negative star,I would. HIPAA means nothing to them,I could go on and on about the TERRIBLE treatment, or, should I say the lack thereof. Loved one went for an assessment then was trick by saying he can come in for 2 days to monitor his meds, NO doctor saw him, no therapy sessions, just medications prescribed by a nurse. They got mad because we were inquiring about his care and they called the police, who happened to be on our side.My loved one signed himself out, they then said he signed to stay 72hours,which was a lie,I asked for records and could not get any. They then stopped him from reaching us,and did not give him messages, they stopped us from seeing him together, which from staff that cannot be done. I wish I could give less stars. I had to cut this down too.. to fit the 4,000 character limit. There is actually A LOT more.I did not see any doctors until the next day. The next day I did I try to explain how unnecessary this was to Fryml, that I was taking up a bed for someone that seriously would need it, and that being home with my family with access to my medications/doctors, etc would be best. I had to ask if I was IVC because I still hadn’t been told.I never received a treatment plan; they never adjusted any medications, or changed anything. I was essentially just there. I never met with a medical team to even create a treatment plan. I saw my plan for the FIRST TIME when I requested my medical records when I was DISCHARGED. They actually LOWERED my anxiety medication despite ALL medical directives stating I took a higher dose, and had for years.Patients were frequently seen wandering in and out of other peoples rooms without staff noticing, and if it was brought to their attention, they were rude, and unresponsive.I frequently overhead nurses, PCAs, and doctors talk poorly about patients in the open, and in front of other patients at the front desk in the unit. This is extremely inappropriate and some complaints even involved information which could be a HIPAA violation.I had nurses ignore my statements of “no” and statements of me revoking consent. At 5AM, Nurse George missed my vein while trying to draw blood, I asked if they could do this at a different time, I was dehydrated at that point, and that I “couldn’t do this right now.” He said no, he had to do it now, and kept going, literally jammed a needle into me despite my protests. I also felt that if I didn’t go along with it in that moment, or make a bigger fuss, I would be labeled as a “problem patient” and be kept longer. No information or updates were given to my husband or Neuropsych despite them both being on my forms for information to be shared with them. I had to sign an additional document for therapist Ashley to speak to my husband, despite filling out all of that information during intake. It seemed protocol was not followed and paperwork was lost. They do a “skin check” upon intake in an exam room. The nurse, without stating or explaining it was about to happen… peaked in both the front and back of my underwear. At Wakebrook, while you’re gowned, they asked you to drop them to the floor, and then lift the gown so they can see your feet, and then wand both sides – not to where they could see anything. There was no dignity or privacy in this “skin check.” This version done at Triangle Springs, felt ultimately, disgusting, violating, and inappropriate. I still have issue with it, I still feel violated, and the image will likely never leave my head.I, not once, actually felt safe there. I had significantly low blood pressure that was never addressed; my concerns were dismissed, and often felt like asking a question was an inconvenience. With my low BP, they still kept trying to give me Clonodine which was being taken while I was on a stimulant. I was not allowed to take my ADD/ADHD medication while there, and nurses kept trying to keep me the Clonodine despite my protest/reasoning. My concerns of being itchy were never addressed and I was told it was my anxiety. They lowered the dose of my anxiety meds, and then added Viseral. When I discharged, I told my ACTUAL PSYCHIATRIST about this, and she stated it was likely because it is in the Benadryl family, and I am allergic to Benadryl.I was falsely diagnosed with MDD. I never was given a treatment plan for this “diagnosis” and saw this for the first time on my discharge papers. MDD was listed multiple times WITHOUT ever seeing ANYONE long enough to make a diagnosis. I was there post-Serotonin Syndrome, and during Cymbalta Withdrawal, and NONE of this was taken into account.Receiving my medical records, I was appalled by the amount of falsified information and straight up lies. This place lies, cheats you, and treats you poorly. Do NOT go.

I went inpatient to Triangle Springs about month ago for detox and anxiety issues and am currently on week two of IOP. I was recommended to the facility by a PA at MedPsych and I could not be more thankful for her recommendation. Dr. Meyer and Id say about 99% of the staff there genuinely care about your well being and overall success. Dr. Meyer and the nurses from the first day I was there made me feel as comfortable as possible and expressed to me my treatment plan so I wasnt left reeling for answers. The facility itself was very organized and clean with a few exceptions when it came to the daily menu and smoking breaks. There are some flaws communication which can make the stay frustrating, but I found just waiting and talking to Dr. Meyer about things regarding medications and what not was a lot more helpful than talking to a nurse or therapist that wasnt a part of your discharge plan. The negative reviews I believe are from people who didnt take the program seriously or might need more help than Triangle Springs can provide. The only reason I wouldnt give it a full 5 stars is because of the 1% of staff that is kind of questionable. During my reassessment for IOP, the woman that assessed me mentioned I can always come back to treatment very casually, almost insisting it. I also had a hard time with the front desk during the admission process in terms of the receptionist giving me wrong information and the overall wait time to be admitted was pretty bad. However, I believe the rest of the staff really wants to see you succeed and I met some incredible staff members that I will never forget. Thank you to Dr. Meyer and her team!!
