I have been to this dental practice now twice for an emergency visit that they were able to fit me in same day for. Dr. Le is very honest, kind and knowledgeable- exactly what I am looking for in a dentist. Always good outcomes and pleasant experience.

Dr. Le and his staff have been providing dental services to my entire family since we moved to Raleigh in 2014. I was exploring the shopping center when I saw a mom and her daughter walking out. I asked their opinion of the dentist and based on their positive responses, I made appointments for our family. Still there 7 years later. Their small intimate office and waiting room creates a warmth that is expressed by the administrative staff- Charlene (his wife) and Sheila. Appts are timely and everyone has a positive attitude. We always feel comfortable.Last October, I had a really bad toothache outside of business hours, so I went to their website. It was my first time there and I enjoyed reading the blurb on Dr. Le. I later received a call in response to my email and Dr. Le was able to call in some meds to help me with my pain since he is also a Pharmacist. The next day, I received a follow up call to see how I was doing and on Day 3, I was at the office.BEFORE any work is done, Im always provided with the amount I will have to pay after insurance, and approve it before proceeding. Last week, I had a root canal emergency and Dr. Le ensured that the entire area was numb before he started working. He always entertain the numerous questions I ask and is quite professional yet amiable.

Spectrum was awesome. This is a great dental practice where customer care abs professional is the model. Recently having relocated from New York my visit was a true upgrade.A friend of the family referred me and their whole family visits Dr. Le. Dana was so kind and meticulous with cleaning. I realize in NY I was receiving subpar cleaning. The front desk staff is extremely professional and kind. They were able to squeeze me in earlier for my scheduled appointment. My local dentist referred me to Dr. Lets office for a root canal. As expected, I was pretty nervous going to a new office for something as unpleasant as a root canal. The 2 ladies I dealt with at the front couldnt have been more pleasant and helpful. Then Christine (dental assistant) greeted me at took me back. She was bright & cheery & warm yet still professional. Dr. Le is warm and engaging, and has a pleasant sense of humor; a wonderful bedside manner.My root canal was on a molar (3 nerves) so it was involved and too a while. The entire experience was no more unpleasant than a simple filling.Thank you Dr. Le and staff for making a potentially horrible experience smooth and painless.

I had a one hour appointment for a crown. During the visit Dr Le realized I also needed a root canal. He made himself available to also complete that during my appointment. He said I don’t want you to leave here in pain. However I know he had other appointments he managed to do while he completed the root canal and kept everything moving for all of us. I am so grateful that this dentist does all procedures. In my past experience I would need to go to a root canal specialist for that procedure. Its one stop shopping with Doctor Le! I also adore everyone that works with him they are genuinely so nice!

As a lifelong owner of a set of teeth, Ive been to a number of dentists - and I love going to Spectrum. Dr. Le is particularly good at explaining whats going on in my mouth - I feel like I learn a little bit about dentistry every visit. Also, friendliest front-end staff at any medical practice anywhere!

I am new to the Raleigh area. I called Spectrum Family Dentistry after an old filling on one of my front (facial) teeth, broke off/fell off. After going in for the urgent repair, I was told I needed extensive work done on SEVERAL teeth. I have always been highly trusting of dentists and doctors in general. I had no reason to believe they were taking advantage of me. I scheduled a follow up appointment to start my treatment plan which I never did receive a copy of. I suppose thats my fault for blindly trusting a new dentist. I have Medicaid health insurance, which covers 100% of the cost, minus my negligible $3 copay. Save your judgement for another day, as Ive typically had private or employer paid dental coverage all my life. Either way, I realize now this dentist abused the fact that I had Medicaid and ran up a gamut of possibly unnecessary fillings. On the day of my appointment, everything went fine. I was sufficiently numbed and prepped. When they were finished, I asked how many teeth was that? and the hygienist said ten. I was shocked. Number 1) they did not tell me I was having ten teeth repaired or worked on 2) no risks were explained to me before the procedure. I assumed they were simple fillings. Ive never experienced any pain from a filling for more than 24 hours. I am now two weeks post procedure and am in such severe pain. Pain that was NOT present before I had this work done. Ten teeth. They worked on ten teeth while I laid there and trusted they were making ethical decisions on behalf of my treatment needs. I realize now, I was duped. And Im terribly saddened and now, in a ton of pain. I am seeking treatment elsewhere and highly recommend you be very careful and suspicious of what this office recommends to you.

I love this group of people. Everyone here is friendly , kind and go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable. If you are one who dreads getting shots.,.relax ....Dr. Lee is the best. Sheila and Charlene well make sure you understand your treatment plan and all expenses. This is a great place to take care of the entire familys teeth!Dr. Lee and the staff are very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and friendly. This was my first time at Spectrum, and it was great! My hygienist, Katherine, was incredibly kind and very informative in explaining what she was going to do before she did it. She also provided tips to ensure I was doing things better at home. Dr Le was unlike other dentists Ive had in the past. Id usually get a customary couple of pokes on some molars and off I go. But he was more thorough in the assessment and spoke extensively on a couple of problem areas I had and how I could fix them. I saw that some reviews mentioned the smaller space of the office, but I actually thought it was a very business-savvy use of space. There were only 4 chairs in the waiting room, which to me explained why they sent me numerous text alerts, including one within the hour of my arrival, to ensure I was coming to my appointment. Some people may find this unnerving, but as someone who is always painfully punctual, I appreciated the text service. Instead of enclosed rooms with doors, there were dividers, but they were substantial and large, and they enclosed equipment such as the x-ray machine. Another observation was that instead of the overhead light with the arm that you can move over the patient, Katherine and Dr Le wore head lamps. Overall, the use of space was incredibly smart and to me implied a thoughtfulness that you cant appreciate in garish offices with vomitous decor. Bonus: There was a TV you could watch while you sat in the long chair, and the ladies at the front desk were as nice and charming and informative anyone could be.

Ive been going to Spectrum for many years and have enjoyed the smaller practice. I never feel like a cattle prod is pushing me from one station to another. The staff is extremely friendly and ALWAYS remembers my name. Love this place.

I have been a patient of Dr. Le and Spectrum Family and Cosmetic Dentistry for several years. Other than the usual periodic visits for examination and cleaning I have had fillings and one implant. I have been highly pleased with the quality of care, expertise, and up-to-date dental science technology as well as the friendliness and competency of the staff. This entire office is amazing. All the staff are very professional and friendly. Dr. Ye has a no pain zone. I had a root canal a couple of years ago and a cap put on the same day and SURVIVED. I highly recommend this dentist. Calming environment and they make you feel like they really care. I just had a recent cleaning and Dr. Ye and his staff continue to impress me. Im a patient for life. I went to this dental office for the first time and had the WORST experience ever. I went in for a basic cleaning. The dentist wanted to do a deep cleaning but I didnt want to pay $75 out of my pocket. I wanted to do just a basic cleaning that my insurance would cover and wanted to come back for a deep cleaning when I was prepared to pay. They refused to do a cleaning and made something up saying it was against their policy to do a basic cleaning. I felt like they only wanted my money. I went to another dental office and they saw no reason why they couldnt do a basic cleaning for today and let me come back for a deep cleaning. This other dental office will be getting my future business. If Spectrum wasnt so money hungry they would have gotten my money for a deep cleaning and wisdom teeth extractions. I would not recommend coming to this dental office. And if your looking for a warm feeling of a dental office you should keep looking. They have every thing cram together. Very small waiting area with 4 chairs and no privacy when your getting your x rays.

I would highly recommend Dr. Le & staff (Spectrum Dentistry) to anyone. I started going to him when I lived in Raleigh. Now I live in Charleston, SC and still choose to drive the distance (5 hours each way) to have him take care of my dental needs. He is very attentive and listens to his patients. Plus, he takes the time to explain procedures, why they are necessary & what the result will be. He is a perfectionists which is why I prefer him. When it comes to my teeth, I dont want to play around and I certainly dont want unexpected issues arising. I have issues with trusting dentists and Dr. Le & staff have certainly earned my trust. An absolutely great Dentist and office. I called in the morning as a new patient with an aching tooth, and they had me in that afternoon, cavity filled and on my way. I recently decided to have a denture putt in to replace a broken bridge and other decaying teeth caused by radiation treatments years earlier from cancer treatments. I found the procedure was quite easy and Dr Lee installed my denture that day. I discussed the possibility of installing implants to help hold the denture in. He agreed that it would be a good idea and we scheduled an appointment install 2 post. After my mouth healed, he mounted the denture onto the post. The fit was amazing and I feel like I have my original teeth back. I no longer am of need of holding agents like poly grip, which proved to be not very dependable. Now with the implants in, I feel very confident that I can eat anything without any fear from my teeth coming out. My wife says that my speech has improved, which was an issue I hadnt been aware of.Overal, Im very pleased that I made the investment to get the implants which has brought back my quality of life. When it comes time for another denture, I intend to do the same!

The best dentist experience Ive ever had!!! Im usually that person that cries, even just for cleaning. I was having horrific tooth pain, Spectrum fit me into their busy schedule the same day (within 2 hours of my call). This was my first root canal experience, and even with no sedation, the procedure was absolutely painless!!! Im still shocked with their awesome service. Special thanks to Dr Le, Sheila, and Christine, for going the extra mile for me. Sidenote: I did NOT cry.

Prior to spectrum family dentistry I was a patient at a practice near my home in Clayton. To say the least my experience there could never compare to the exceptional service I receive from Spectrum. My first visit to spectrum was for a tooth that severely abscessed, and had already been treated for months by my other dentist. Dr.Le was able to not only prescribe the appropriate antibiotic for the infection I was suffering from but just a week later preformed an extraction of the tooth and in the process was able to cause me no discomfort. In fact on almost every visit to spectrum I have been able to relax and cat-nap during my procedures. The dental assistants go above and beyond to be sure that you are comfortable and are receiving the best possible care. While receiving your treatment you are able to listen to “hot jams” and the occasional joke from Dr.Le which seems to be really comforting to those patients who are frightened. The front desk staff is also exceptional! They truly take their time to explain everything in depth and ALWAYS make sure that you are covered by your insurance. They have taken care of all the work for me when it comes to billing insurance and I have never had a problem. The facility is always very clean and up to date. The chairs are very comfortable and the pictures of different Hawaiian Islands are sure to make you feel like you are in paradise. I recommend Spectrum Family Dentistry to all my friends and family. If you have any fears about going to the dentist or what your experience is going to be like they are just a phone call away. Whenever I have any problems or pain in my teeth I just think to myself “NEVER FEAR DR.LE IS HERE” and I immediately feel better knowing that I am almost guaranteed to have an appointment the same day. I am willing to say that Spectrum Family Dentistry is by far the best practice in the area possibly even North Carolina. Don’t wait just call them! I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I would have not given 1 star but...... My daughters had an appointment for 9:30am on a school day. I showed up at 9:15 not thinking it would be an issue seeing as the website says; open at 9am and so does the hours on the door. The door was locked the lights were off and we sat outside on the bench. I decided to leave at 9:40. As Im getting back on the highway, I get a phone call that my girls had an appointment. All I got was; we were here. And she (receptionist) chuckled. I was so annoyed I hung up on her. I did not receive a call back with an apology pr even to reschedule. I will NEVER go back! So this doc his good reviews, however how good is that when the staff is crappy!! O, and lets not forget, my daughters went to school late. What a waste of a morning!

First of all, this office isnt accredited in any fashion. Look them up on the BBB website. I have had more than one horrible experience here. First of all, scheduling is an absolute nightmare. They have double booked myself more than once leaving my whole day in disarray with zero apology. The office is incredibly small and cramped. The one dentist, Ryan Le, has the worst bedside manner I have ever dealt with. He questions your clothing and hair choices which is SO incredibly inappropriate. Prepare to be uncomfortable. This office charges about double what an accredited dental office charges. Even with cash payment. I had a pencil tip size filling done in a more than accessible tooth and left paying over 450.00, the best part is the bonded material fell out within four days and the office ABSOLUTELY refuses to refund my payment. The bonded material wasnt even close to the same color as my actual tooth. I literally pulled over in their parking lot and had a panic attack. The dentist is unprofessional, egocentric and the office is more than obviously struggling to stay in business as they are clinging on to my money for dear life. On a positive note, the lady at the front desk is cheery and sweet and the hygienists are gentle. I have never seen any instruments come out of sealed autoclave bags however. The office is in nowhere land, in an industrial park tucked up in a dying zone of Glenwood. Do yourself a favor and find a real licensed and accredited dental office in Raleigh that wont price gouge and does quality, lasting dental work.
