When I found out I needed to get my wisdom teeth removed, I was far from excited. I have never had oral surgery before so I was a bit nervous. My dentist recommended I get a consult with Nu Image and try to get them removed as soon as possible since I had two infections and impacted teeth. I actually got my consultation at the Wake Forest office, (they were awesome there as well) however, they said the soonest appointment would be at the Raleigh location. I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Addison to remove all four wisdom teeth that same week. The whole team at the Nu Image Falls of Neuse location was wonderful. The facility is clean and inviting. Make sure you dress warm & comfortable since the office is a bit chilly. I went in for my appointment and was taken back to get set up for IV (deep sedation - aka a nice nap, checking vitals and airways) and to make sure you are comfortable, they put a warm blanket on you. My extraction was particularly difficult as my nerve was passing between the root of one tooth. Which can be risky and there is the potential to experience long term numbness. Dr. Addison did a fantastic job with the removal and did not disturb the nerve. I am so thankful for his skilled work! Once I was finished they called my wife and helped me to the car. I was given an ice pack and chocolate ice cream! It is normal for you to be numb for a few hours after surgery. Mine lasted for about 5 hours and after that no numbness. I had the normal swelling (make sure you ice to help with that) and follow your post-op instructions carefully. Very important to the healing process. The next day Dr. Addison called me personally to follow up on how I was doing, discuss how the surgery went in further detail, and to see if I had any questions or concerns. I honestly could not recommend the Nu Image Falls of Neuse team and Dr. Addison enough for their great work. For someone who was hesitant on getting their wisdom teeth removed, I am very glad I had the Nu Image team to take care of the process for me. Top notch service!

I recently went in to have oral surgery at Nu Image Surgical and Dental Implants. Dr. Addison and his team took really good care of me, they made sure I was comfortable, and gave me all of the information I needed to make the best decision regarding my procedure. He and his team were very knowledgeable and made me feel safe and confident in their ability to successfully carry out the surgery. They even called my orthodontist to consult with them before jumping into the surgery, and I appreciated that level of care. I plan to use Dr. Addison and his team again, and I’d highly recommend him if you’re in need of oral surgery.

Dr. Addison was the oral surgeon who removed all 4 of my wisdom teeth. Dental assistant with the glasses and bandana was super kind and made me feel comfortable before going into surgery. Surgery went by so quick and I was home resting comfortably. Dr. Addison called me the next morning to see how I was doing and made sure we stayed in contact just in case anything occurs which I think makes a great doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Addison for any dental procedure because he cares for you as a patient just like how he did for me.

Dr Addison at Nu Image Surgical & Dental Implant Center performed my oral surgery. I was anxious about the surgery but everyone at Nu Image was very pleasant and helpful. I had several interactions with Customer Service (including a very knowledgeable and helpful insurance rep) and the medical support staff. But that wouldnt matter if the surgery hadnt gone well. Dr Addison said his goal was to do it as atraumatically as possible, and I think he did just that. I had very little swelling and managed with the OTC pain relief. I didnt have any problems but his follow-up call was much appreciated. Highly recommend.

Dr. Addison and his team did a fantastic job with my wisdom teeth removal. From the time we arrived to when we left there were no issues. I was taken back quickly and the entire extraction went very quickly. His team was kind and made me feel very comfortable. I am not a dentist person, pretty much hate going every time so finding out I had to get my wisdom teeth pulled was not an exciting moment. All of the dental assistants were great. I saw Dr. Addison for my consult and he did my extractions. He is very thorough, explaining the process and risks in great detail. He called me to follow up which I appreciated, it was not his assistant. I have had little to no pain and really felt pretty good after. Great staff and great job by Dr. Addison and team.

Amazing experience considering the painful tooth pain that led me to Nu Image. The staff moved things around to get me seen ASAP. They empathized with me the whole time. Customer Service was stellar. Nu Image North Raleigh is quite the Surgical and Dental Implant Center! Dr. Sam Addison and his Assistant Julia have and continue to care for my implant need in exemplary fashion. My procedure in April followed by a re-check in May went so well that I am actually looking forward to returning in a couple months to finish the swell job they are doing. The entire staff is first rate- helpful, courteous and kind- the kind of place any old Boy Scout would appreciate. Dr. Addison extracted a molar on Thursday and I never had to take a pain pill!!! He did an outstanding job and I already feel healed even though it has only been 48hrs. The staff was very professional and helpful and I would highly recommend nu image and Dr. Addison.

Upon arriving at Nu Image Surgical & Dental Implant Center, the environment is calm, peaceful and clean. The staff is very friendly and inviting. Dr. Addison, Julia, and the other staff that assisted them during my tooth extraction and bone graft did an amazing job for me. They patiently answered all my questions, and explained what they would be doing during the procedure. Their calm, efficient manner helped to reassure me that things would go smoothly and they did indeed go smoothly for me. I experienced little pain and little bleeding afterwards which was a big relief to me. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful, too, and readily answered my questions. I appreciate the kindness and patience of everyone.

They honestly couldn’t care less about you. Took off work to drive an hour through traffic after my appointment was supposed to be canceled. Got a phone call saying it’s all good come on down. Spent 60$ on gas to be turned away over a 30 minutes time gap which shouldn’t of even been a problem. Multiple phone calls assuring I was minutes away from location. On top of all that I have to now wait what another month with four wizdom teeth breaking the surface of my gums and pushing my other teeth out of allotment? In pain…. I work 12 hour shifts in the sun and y’all gonna play me like that while even on the clock. Took my payment but seconds later tells me nothing will happen today. My time energy and respect is worth more than that. Don’t recommend this place. Fancy office don’t equal good office. If I could pull these teeth out myself I would. Very similar to a poorly run vet office.

Came here for my wisdom teeth removal and they were super nice. I love how they provided me with a warm blanket and helped me calmed down. My doctor was very nice (every staff was honestly) would highly recommend this place if getting wisdom teeth removed

Had such a great experience with NuImage and Dr. Samuel Addison. Had surgery to prep for an implant and things went off without a hitch. The entire staff are kind, compassionate and professional. And their offices are state of the art! Dr. Addison personally followed up with me the day after, giving me his personal cell phone should I have any questions or concerns. A doctor has never done that for me before. Highly, highly recommend.

I had to get my wisdom teeth out and was pretty nervous about it but all of the workers did their very best to make me feel comfortable. Camden gave me a blanket because the room was so cold, she made conversation with me, and was super nice overall! On the evening of my surgery, Dr. Addison even followed up with me to make sure I was doing well. Overall I had an amazing experience here and would definitely recommend to others, everyone who works there is so kind and helpful!! They even give you the good ice cream afterwards :)

I wanted to take the time to give thanks, and share my 5 star experience with Dr. Addison, and the staff at Nu Image on Falls of Neuse. I was extremely apprehensive about what would be necessary, and how the surgical process would go since I had to have wisdom teeth removed after 40. Dr. Addison was extremely knowledgeable and forthcoming about the risks, and there was absolutely no pressure. He left the decision up to me based on his recommendations, and completely over delivered. With the exception of normal swelling, my post surgery is the best Ive ever experienced. His surgical assistant, Jasmine was absolutely amazing. I can not sing her praise enough for talking with me, and genuinely helping me stay calm before the procedure. The staff made sure I had everything I needed before sending me home, including Andias Ice Cream and the best ice pack ever! I was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Addison called that evening to check in & see how I was recovering, and to provide me with feedback on how surgery went. I can not recommend them enough, and if I ever have any surgical or cosmetic needs, I will not consider anywhere else.

I had 5 teeth extracted by Dr Addison, Neelam was my surgical assistant, I really wasn’t nervous when I went in but all the staff made me feel more at ease, I was also ready to get this over with without pain, what a great experience it was I didn’t have any pain after either just a bit of swelling on my lower jaw, I highly recommend this practice

Dr Addison was great and a nice guy. He removed my wisdom teeth, and I’ve had very little pain associated with the procedure. Only complaint is that he spoke a little quickly when explaining the procedure. But the nurse had already explained it all to me, and I had already watched videos on the procedure. Still, if one finds this concerning, ask him to speak more slowly. He was a nice guy and definitely would have slowed down had I asked.

The whole team was incredibly nice and professional. This was my first time having any form of dental surgery (extraction of all four wisdom teeth) and Dr. Addison did a great job of reassuring me and running me through exactly how everything would work from start to finish. The day after, he called to check up on how my recovery was progressing. Overall I had great experience here and I highly recommend Dr. Addison and his team.

This was probably one of the best in all experiences I have had at a dental office. The office was is beautiful and clean. I have had some bad experiences in the past with dentist. I was nervous, but everyone was keeping me calm. Besides, the fact that I had to get two teeth pulled everything was professional, everything was properly sterilize and clean, I was made very comfortable with warm blankets. The staff is great they went above and beyond! I would definitely highly recommend them to anyone with dental issues.

Im very happy with my tooth extraction by Dr. Addison and Neelam a few days ago. I had been a bit nervous about my appointment, but felt safe in their care during the procedure and through my recovery afterwards.

My daughter, who has severe anxiety under the best of circumstances, needed four teeth extracted. I was dreading the process for both of us, but Dr. Addison and the entire staff made the experience so calm and smooth. They answered all her questions so patiently and didnt rush her back to surgery. They really did everything possible to make her comfortable with the process. After surgery she had almost no pain and was eating solid food by the next day. Healing was quick and uneventful because they had all the bases covered. My other kids have had surgery elsewhere that was plagued by complications and lack of communication, so this was such a refreshing improvement comparatively. Well never go anywhere else!

NuImage and Dr. Addison were perfect! The clinic was very clean, the front staff precise and courteous. The staff that did my actual wisdom teeth removal were prompt and talked me through the whole procedure. He called me personally to check on me the day after my procedure. I especially want to thank his assistant Madison. We had such a wonderful conversation that for a moment I forgot why I was there. She was also very helpful during the procedure. Best tooth extraction ever! Dr. Addison and his staff were friendly and made sure I knew what to expect ahead of time. Everything went smoothly on the day of the procedure and afterwards: I took a nice nap and woke up at home all tucked in with all my post op instructions. I had very little pain, and only needed over the counter pain meds.

I received the most informative and compassionate care during every part of this appointment. The information given was very detailed and I felt safe and secure. The Medical Assistant/Surgical Assistant Neelam was very attentive and expressed empathy for me due to my nervousness. Dr. Addison explained the procedure and reduced a lot of my anxiety. The most pleasant dental experience I have ever had Dr. Addison and his team was exceptional.

I never had oral surgery and I was told that I could have numbness in my tongue and lip after the extraction. Dr. Addison infomed me of everything to expect, the doctor also had a surgical assistant named Neelam and after surgery I had some soreness for about 2 hours and then it was gone. The next day I felt fine and have had no issues, I would recommend Dr. Addison and his team to anyone needing Oral surgery, the staff at Nu Image are personable and caring, I hope I dont need oral surgery again but if I do it will be with them.Thank you to Dr. Addison his staff and Nu Image.

I’ve never had surgery and hate pain! I delayed getting my wisdom teeth removed until my wife had a procedure and sent me to Dr. Addison. I’m older so removing my wisdom teeth carried risks that were thoroughly explained. I bit the bullet and did it. I went in and it felt like as soon as I sat down and it started, the procedure was over. I came out and have been in little pain. No complications. I’m ready to exercise and drink coffee, but my wife is keeping me still. All has been well! Thanks Dr. Addison and Nu Image!

Recently had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed... AT THE SAME TIME. 🥴To say the least...I had the expectation of a painful and unpleasant experience. But I’m glad to say I was pleasantly surprised! I had my consultation and surgery done the same day and it was so smooth. Dr.Addison was great ! We went over the procedure and I felt confident in his confidence. By the time it was done I was singing hallelujah and blowing kissing to the nurses. ( amen for that good ole anesthesia) lol Anyway, If you’re looking for a place of knowledgeable doctors, kind staff and overall a place of comfort. I had a good experience at Nu Image Surgical & Dental implants. The nurse that I met there, unfortunately, I cannot remember her name, but she was so kind and personable. She gave me a blanket to use and spoke to me until the time of my procedure, and I am so grateful for it. She informed me of everything that was going on as they were getting me prepared. Doctor Addison was very serious and straight to the point that was appreciated. Even the care packages that they put together for you to take home are so nice. Overall, I had a good experience. Dr. Addison and his staff were absolutely amazing! I received a warm blanket right before my procedure. After getting my wisdom teeth removed, I was sent home with an ice pack, ice cream, and all of the after care products. They made sure to call me the day before and after my appointment to make sure I was comfortable and all of my questions were answered. I had a 10 star experience.

The procedure happened very fast and I couldn’t be happier with how Dr.Addison and his assistants treated me. They walking me through the procedure prior to the procedure and I didn’t feel a thing! As soon as I went into deep sedation within 2 mins of getting the medicine I fell asleep. Very recommended with their high quality in customer service and comfort through out the procedure.

I had a difficult wisdom teeth extraction and was referred here because the other dentist wasnt comfortable doing it.Dr. Addison explained the complications and was still able to perform the surgery with no problem.The surgical assistant, Heelam, was also very comforting and made preparing and the surgery painless.Great experience.

I just got 8 teeth extracted... my first surgery ever! One of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had. From the initial consultation to extraction day, I felt at ease. Dr. Addison was so thorough with his explanation of the procedure, the risks and aftercare. He answered all my questions with no problem. Also, all the staff were amazing. Everyone I encountered (receptionist, surgical assistant, anesthesiologist) was personable and really helped to soothe any apprehension I may have had. I am so amazed with the treatment, professional curious and great treatment that was shown to me yesterday at Nu Image Surgical & Dental Implant facility on Falls of the Nuese Rd. In Raleigh NC.Dr.Addison and team are the best. I had 22 teeth plus 4 or 5 root tips extracted yesterday and I am in no pain. Yes there was a little after surgery, but no pain today.My hat goes of to and amazing Dr. and staff for taking such excellent care of me. Great place for all who have and overwhelming fear of the Dentist look no further.My case was kind of different. I am remission of stage 3 colon cancer so Dr. Addison and team made sure it was alright for me to have this surgery. After everything was confirmed I was all set.They had my meds already waiting for me at the Pharmacy.I really cant express to you that might be reading this review how grateful, and amazed with everything that took place!!!!!

I had Doctor Addison for an extraction and Doctor Neshat for an implant. Both did a great job. All the staff was friendly. If I need work in the future, I will return to Nu Image.

I don’t know about you, but it’s not often I have a tooth extracted or in my case, five in one day. I was not sure what to expect. Dr. Addison came in and immediately put me at ease by thoroughly outlining the procedure and any possible risks. I love seeing a young black man take control of his craft, acting asanesthesiologist and surgeon. I must say the one thing that impressed me the very most is that since having my my procedure done to now, more than 24 hours later, I have had no pain. If I did not see the holes in my mouth myself, I would not believe he had done any extractions. Dr. Addison, thank you for making this such a pleasant experience given the circumstances. I do appreciate your gentleness and professionalism. And thanks to the staff from the waiting room to the treatment room. I enjoyed connecting with you ladies and reminiscing about our fond memories of Florida.

Dr. Addison and his medical assistant Mrs. Neelam was very helpful during my wisdom teeth removal consultation + procedure. They were both very informative and answered any questions or concerns that I had about the procedure. Mrs. Neelam did very well preparing for the procedure as well as helping me feel comfortable about it. Dr. Addison quickly summarized and drew out everything on my x-rays to ensure I understood what was going on. Dr. Addison also gave me a call later in the afternoon which was very nice as a patient. I highly recommend this practice!

I had the most wonderful experience with Nu Image! My great experience started with the first phone call to schedule my appointment, to having my wisdom teeth extracted. The doctors and staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and helped make my visit a positive one!

Dr. Addison was amazing! Not only did he do a fantastic job on my daughter’s wisdom teeth extractions, but he even personally called me the next day to check on how she was doing. Nu Image is a class act, and I would highly recommend them for your next oral surgery needs!!!

Process went super smooth. Had my top two wisdom teeth removed. Surgery only lasted ~30 minutes and I felt nearly 100% fine within 20-30 minutes of waking up. Haven’t had any complications since, including no pain at all. Huge thanks to Dr. Addison!

Dr. Addison and his team are the best. They are super nice and super professional. Im very happy with the way the extraction, Bone Graft and a Dental Implant went. The procedure went smooth, It couldnt went any better. I truly reccomend Nu Image to everyone. I appreciate the great work and the Ice Cream I was given each time I left there. I was rather nervous due to my impacted lower wisdom teeth and the fact that they were riding my nerves on both sides. However, Dr. Addison, was more than prepared for my complications. I came in for my consultation and had the surgery the same day. Thankfully I don’t have to do this ever again, but if I did I wouldn’t see anyone other than Dr. Addison.

I recently visited the Raleigh, Falls of Neuse location, and Dr. Addison and his team were amazing. My wisdom teeth extraction was at 7 am, so I was really tired, but a visiting nurse (I believe their name is Corinne), from the Wake Forest location, was there with a burst of energy to make sure I was comfortable and prepped for the procedure.From the consultation, procedure, to aftercare, the staff was agile, knowledgeable, and informative. I will recommend this team ten times over. Thank you again!

Id like to take a moment to thank Dr. Addison and the team that performed my recent procedure. Id been in extreme pain for several weeks and couldnt wait for the initial procedure date. Dr. Addison went above and beyond, checking on my comfort level over the weekend. Holly, a manager at another location was kind enough to listen to my concerns with empathy and gave me several options to resolve my issue at the time. Dr. Addison even offered to come in to help me while he was on PTO. The procedure went better that I expected. The assistant to Dr. Addison on the day of the procedure made me feel comfortable, she could tell I was nervous. She was patient and answered all of my questions. I was truly wowed by the Nu-Image staff at the Falls of Neuse location. I will certainly recommend Nu-Image to my friends and family. Thanks for helping me.

The staff and Dr. Addison were extremely friendly both before and after my procedure. They did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable and my nerves were eased before my procedure. I knew i was getting the best care in the Raleigh area and they will always be my go to! It was nice to get a call from Dr. Addison post-op to check in and make sure my pain was being managed well! I would highly recommend them to anyone I know without hesitation!

Dr. Addison performed the removal of my wisdom tooth. He did an outstanding job in the pre-op consultation explaining exactly what the options were and what the risks were. He drew pictures, answered a million questions, and even showed me examples of removals to help better explain what would be happening. He explained the decisions he would be making during the procedure, along with how he would make those decisions. The decisions he made were all in the interest of ensuring I did not experience nerve damage below the tooth, but also accomplishing what was needed for a long term solution.The procedure was extremely efficient, both in his work, and an office as a whole. His support staff seemed extremely competent and also helpful during the pre-op appointment.Dr. Addison called me on my cell on Saturday morning the day after my surgery to check in, answer more questions, explain everything that had gone on during the surgery, and let me know to call him directly if I had any concerns.Overall he was very invested in the patient on a personal level, performed an extremely efficient surgery time-wise, and I have little to no pain 24 hours after surgery.Ill be trying to convince my nephew to go to Dr. Addison for his wisdom teeth soon.

I had a consult in Nov (2020) about issues I am having with a couple implants that were placed by Nu Image in 2017. The oral surgeon called me with an initial plan and stated that someone would call me with cost. I have made a couple calls to inquire about scheduling and cost. No one has called me back. My last call I asked the receptionist to have them call and let me know if Nu Image no longer wanted to service me. Still waiting. I am very disappointed and surprised with Nu Image, because I choose Nu Image over local oral surgeon because of perceived experience that local oral surgeons my have not possessed at the time. Still waiting for that call back.

My dad has Alzheimers and he was referred to the North Raleigh location by his dentist. I was concerned with how dad would do having two of his teeth removed. Dr. Neshat and Ashley were great! They were kind, patient, professional and quick! Dad did wonderfully and it was an excellent experience. I recommend this team to anyone needing an oral surgeon. Dr. Neshat personally called me within the hour to check on how my dad was doing. I have never had a doctor do that before. It meant a lot to me. Thank you for taking such great care of my dad.

Our appointment was at 12 pm on February 26, 2021.The services rendered to my husband for his actual dental procedure went well. However, the lack of concern for the pandemic at this office was unacceptable. I didn’t want to join my husband inside the office but was informed in their procedural paperwork that I would need to go in. We arrived 20 minutes before the appointment as advised so we walked in at 11:40am. There was a steady stream of patients in and out of that office. It was a small waiting room with as many as 12 persons seated. I asked if I could remain in my car. I was told that I needed to wait for a few minutes so a nurse could speak to me. My husband was taken back at 12:10 pm. I remained in the waiting room and finally went and asked to go to my car at 12:25 pm. The lady at the desk was very apathetic and said she would try and get someone to speak with me. I was told someone would be right out to assist me. I returned to my seat and waited until 12:55 pm at which time I was briefed from the nurse. I was detained inside this waiting room for 1 hour and 15 minutes against my will. This level of concern for my safety and others is alarming. I have used the cell phone to speak with office staff, nurses or doctors for many appointments during this virus crisis. I hope others are not subjected to such treatment and lack of concern.

The staff at Nu Image are kind and professional. I was seen by Dr. Addison and he made me relaxed, calm and taken care of. I was extremely happy with the work they did on my teeth- I’ll definitely be returning!! Would give 10 stars if I could :)

My son has gotten 3 surgeries under dr. Addison and each one was amazing, my son left with almost no pain, I trust dr. Addison with my son.

Having your wisdom teeth removed is not fun and is painful, but Nu Image made me feel very comfortable through out the entire process.

This office is AMAZING!!! I cant say enough good things about everyone there. The doctors have great bedside manner and helped me through the process of getting an extraction, graft, and, implant with great care. I have general anxiety and have anxiety attacks and panic attacks when medical issues come up and they helped put my mind at ease(which is not a small task). I went in to get one wisdom tooth extracted and was nervous. From my first experience with their office to surgery day, it was amazing. Dr. Addison called me the next day to see how everything was which showed he cared. My older son had his wisdom teeth out by Nu Image and younger this summer and would definitely recommend Dr. Addison and Nu Image!!
