Delta Denist Wake Forest is Awesome! I had the best dental experience today. Staff is very professional and friendly. I always been afraid of going to the denist but after my experience today at Delta Wake Forest I look forward to my next appointment.

I have never had an issue with this company until now. I was charged TWICE for my January premium and my online statement still reflected my account was past due. I’ve called and been left on hold for over an hour on multiple occasions dating back to 1/4/21. Company states they respond back to emails within 48 hours, I sent them a copy of my bank statement showing the double charge and it has currently been two weeks and I have heard nothing. Now I have received a bill stating I owe them double what my monthly premium is. I tried calling and I still can’t get in contact with anyone.

Worst claim experience...I pay for insurance and paid dentist to only be told my refund was sent to the dentist..when they both have already been paid..why was check not sent to me

I am a new subscriber to Delta Dental. Their website, for reasons unknown to me, won’t allow me to either fill out the automatic payment details OR make a one-time payment. I’m listed as “late” on my first payment. When I’ve tried to call their customer service people, I’ve been on hold up for upwards of an hour before giving up. I’ve emailed them twice (the recording on their customer service line says they’ll respond within 48 business hours) but I’ve had no response. I am now seeing the terrible reviews here and the response from the company saying “call the customer service number”! I can’t imagine how the company is staying in business with this kind of incompetence!

My coverage was unexpectedly discontinued. The reason for which I dont know. When asked, Delta Dental offered no information to shed light on the issue.I called to verify what happened with the account I was able to speak to someone within ~3 minutes. After she verified I wasnt an active member, the rep told me she didnt have access to billing information and had to transfer me. Upon an abrupt transfer to what I assume was a top level customer service phone tree I was on hold for ~35 minutes with no end in sight, so I came here to write this review. Its true, most people who write reviews have had a bad enough experience to warrant action. So by all means, take this 1 data point for what it is. I dont take the time to write reviews, basically, ever.Personally, I would not trust this company to handle your business in a straight forward & transparent manner.

No one is answering calls at all, i have attempted to contact them several times to cancel their policy.If you have a policy with them cancel, their preventative treatment 100% is a lie. They state that you must pay the 75$ deductible before its applied. This includes first time full xrays, 6 month cleanings. Etc.I was told that a person who works at a dental office had their policy before but that this happened to them as well. Cancel your policies!Edit* To the response, I have attempted to contact that number several times and every time it tells me that you are not available. I have attempted to call several times the last few weeks.The name here is the same in your system.

Worst Customer Service. Every time I have called to speak to someone about a claim a message comes on we are experiencing higher than usual hold times and apologize for the inconvenience bla bla bla. Well, this is flat out misinformation because it happens EVERY TIME. Frustrating. Delta Dental & Co this is a HUGE inconvenience. BTW I am typing this as I remain on hold. Still on hold. Still on hold. Still on hold...... I could probably use up all the allowed letters for this review..... hanging up as usual.

Trying to call for last 10 days, emailed several times , NO RESPONSE! Are you going out of business???? Or what’s happening? If I won’t able to get on hold soon, going to report you to the better business bureau

There customer service is impossible to get in touch with and when you do get in touch with them, they say they cant help you because your data is on a different database or some other issue is happening with their system. They lied to me about what coverage I would get with no waiting periods. STAY AWAY from Delta Dental.

First visit to dentist had cleaning. Followed up for 2 fillings next month. Dentist office said DELTA claimed my birthday was different and declined service. I called DELTA while at the dental office AND got the run around for over 2 hours. Finally got someone to help but couldn’t get procedure done and had to come back the following day after after missing a 1/2 day of work. Got a appt the next day and had to wait for the dentist to confirm my coverage. Waited for an hour and DELTA confirmed my coverage with no waiting period. Six months later I get get a $700 bill from dentist after I paid $400 at the day of service been paying my premiums for 8 months. DELTA DENTAL IS GARBAGE.

Billing tried to pressure me into signing up for an automatic draft and to make a payment before it was due. As of today, my invoice isn’t correct. I have tried to address this issue for months. Do yourself a favour don’t become a customer. The reps are rude and do nothing to assist customers. Wait times are endless. They apply payments once it is bought to their attention. Unprofessional.If the plan was purchased through the market place inform them of issues in writing. The NC Dept of Insurance can be notified along with the AG consumer complaint division and BBB of N.C.This company is taking advantage of customers.

Claims my automatic draft was “declined”, claims to have sent “multiple notices” which I never received, cancelled my insurance because of it. This after 2 years of payments. Would leave zero stars if that were an option.

I did not authorize Delta Dental to do auto pay on my account. I make my payments by calling. This is ridiculous. A shame I havent had this policy long and its already something.
