Loved my experience here! Paula (hygienist) and Angelina (receptionist) were so friendly and helpful. Paula explained everything about my teeth to me while she was conducting the cleaning, and was very gentle. She was upfront about the cost of a minor additional treatment I needed. She also included two sample products to the bag they give you at the end that were based on what I personally needed, which was a lovely touch, but then the icing on top was when she gave me the standard product bag they were mostly eco-friendly products !!! Usually I just refuse them but this time I took them home. So wonderful !! Highly recommend.

I had a dental emergency come up late in the afternoon and after nearly a dozen calls, I was unsuccessful in finding a dentist. It was literally minutes before closing that I reached Uptown Dental, who agreed to see me. The entire team was extremely friendly and made me feel as if I were their only patient. Dr. Lazore also has a very calming demeanor that put my mind at ease. If you’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable and patient-centric dentist, I’d HIGHLY recommend you give them a call!

My mom, sister and I have all been patients here for coming on 6 years now, and have always felt taken care of. Receptionists have always been kind and helpful and amazing to speak to. All of the dentists and hygienists have a great sense of humor and super honorable education and work history, & they do a fantastic job explaining everything to me and comforting me as I always have plenty of questions for them. Paula is consistently ready to help and makes it very easy to get into contact with her should you need anything. Started going to this place a few weeks ago. I have a good amount of work that I need to get done due to lack of going to the dentist because of my anxiety. I have been able to get over my fear of being in the chair over my past few weeks going here. Paula is so so sweet and Dr. Lazore carries herself very professionally.Bonus note: Im a transgender woman, if youre also trans, this is the place to go. I have never ever felt disrespected regarding my gender or presentation while attending appointments here.

They did absolutely amazing! I was at a previous practice that I wasn’t entirely happy with because I felt that they belittled me because of my less than perfect dental hygiene. So when I went here I was really extremely nervous. But from the moment I walked through the door I felt welcomed! Chris Bustamante was my dental hygienist, and he made me feel right at home and comfortable. He was gentle while doing the x-rays and examination. Hi do you need to go back for a procedure and I only have a little bit of anxiousness. Versus my extreme anxiety at the previous dentist I went to.I highly recommend them for any dental procedures!

I recently came here for a cleaning and had a fantastic experience. Starting with the email inquiry up until the time I left, every person I encountered was friendly and professional. Also huge bonus points for not keeping me waiting forever! We got started right on time. Paula got all of my xrays/medical history taken care of before I was turned over to the very capable hands of the hygienist. I am not the greatest with remembering names especially on a Saturday morning but I want to say Rachel. I should have asked her again because it was honestly one of the best cleanings I have ever had. Im already booked for the next cleaning. Great little team here!

I have been going to this office for years, and although it has gone through an ownership change recently it has only improved. I really enjoy the staff as they always make me feel super comfortable. Sam the hygienist is a hoot and makes getting your teeth cleaned actually fun. (how often does that happen?) The doctors are also very diligent in making sure you are comfortable and informed of everything they are doing. I highly recommend this office if you want to feel appreciated and be well taken care of.

The dental hygenists are friendly and even hum to the music they have playing in the office, I suspect, in attempt to make us feel better. Because, who likes going to the dentist, right? The doctor, too, had a calm demeanor and I felt right at home. Additionally, the office is in a historic building in a quiet street, which made for a cozy visit. I had some issues with my insurance upon arrival, but the staff made me comfortable, were understanding, and went above and beyond to help me figure out the issues. Will come back.

I’m a new patient at Uptown Dental and I’ve been very impressed with the care I’ve received. The entire team is knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I came here twice, once for a cleaning and once to have two fillings replaced. Everyone was so nice and answered all of my questions. They walked me through what they were doing and helped keep me calm and relaxed through the whole process. The second time I had to be there for two hours to get the cleaning and fillings replaced as well as sealants for a few teeth. The doctor and hygienist also let me take regular short breaks to rest my jaw. I highly recommend this business and the people here. The office is very clean, and tidy. They even helped me find a few dentists out of town for when I move back home to spend time with family. Very happy with the results and my teeth look and feel great.

As an extremely anxious, uninsured dental patient, this is the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. Everyone was incredibly nice, patient, and gentle. My options were explained to me without being pressured into anything, and services that would normally be unaffordable were made accessible to me. Scheduling was easy, and they accept care credit. If you’re nervous about going to the dentist, I can’t recommend this office enough.

I cannot speak highly enough of Uptown Dental. Paula, the new owner, and Dr. Kaur take their patients very serious and they make sure their patients feel comfortable and at home. In addition, the rest of the staff is so sweet, compassionate, funny, and they are always looking out for you. I just had my first visit and this place is amazing! From the moment I walked in the reception Chante greeting me with a welcoming smile. Then Paula brought me back and explained everything that was going to be done. She took lots of pictures and the whole time was explaining what she was doing. I wish there were a way I could give this place 6 stars, seriously. I, like many others, have had many horror stories of dentists in the past and have been really hesitant about getting my teeth fixed. After a coworker referred this office to me, I set up my appointment online. They not only made sure I had everything I needed, but called me twice to go over everything and go over my insurance and I was already super relieved before even going in. On my first appointment, I met with the wonderful Hygienist Sam who explained to me in depth a treatment plan I would need and made me feel right at home. I did have to return and get a root canal the following week and Dr Chad did a wonderful job of making sure I didn’t experience any discomfort after having explained my bad experiences in the past. A few days after I had some pain from the root canal (due to my gums, not the dental work) and they literally got me in first thing the next day. Rebecca did a wonderful job at making sure everything was cleaned and I was comfortable before I left. I honestly hope I never been seen at any other dentist office again! Thank you Paula for your amazing staff, comfortable and clean environment and services you offer!

I rarely give reviews, I just do not like to take the time to do so, however I felt it a must to do so for this Dentistry. First, my experience with Sam, who has cleaned my teeth twice is not only extremely friendly and welcoming but extremely good at what he does. DR, Anam is fantastic as well, she keeps you very relaxed by explaining prior to as well as during the entire procedure what is going to transpire. I have a tooth that is broken and although she suggest that it be removed I requested a build up and crown. She warned me in a nice way that she cannot guarantee the life of the tooth when taking the route I want but she did so with grace. Most that I have requested flat told me know, which does not go over with me since I do not want implants which is usually pushed to the point of making me hate the idea of. So bottom line she said that she would do it, which I respect and admire from a dentist. If you are looking for a new dentistry by all means this is where you need to go.

Excellent experience! Ive been coming here for a little over two years and really enjoyed my experience there yesterday. I understand theyre under new management now and I noticed a big (positive) difference in how things ran from start to finish.1. My hygienist, Sam, could not have been friendlier and answered all of my questions. Hes very skilled and did a great job with cleaning my teeth.2. My first experience with Dr. Kaur and it was amazing! Ive had on again off again minor pain in one tooth and I felt like she took the time to fully assess the situation and gave great recommendations. Id come in to this practice about 9 months ago to get it looked at (with another provider who I believe is no longer with the practice) and wasnt really satisfied with his response/lack of testing. Dr. Kaur took a lot of time to run various tests and explain options and treatments.3. The woman at the front desk (I forget her name but she was amazing!) really helped make the whole experience smooth. She went through the trouble of breaking down pricing for the recommended treatments and walked me thru the insurance steps. Scheduling was super easy and overall I felt really well taken care of from start to finish.10/18 update:Had the most amazing experience here recently that I just had to share. I had a canker sore on my tongue (ouch!) and the office manager, Paula, had me come in when the office was closed so she could check it out and help. She helped me get a prescription, even on a Saturday, and I couldn’t have been more grateful. The medicine helped immensely and I was just in awe of how she went above and beyond to help me out even when the office was closed and/or it being the weekend. She even gave me her cell # to be in touch with.My canker sore was so bad it made it hard to eat, drink, talk, etc. so the timeliness of getting help was key and I was nothing less than 100% satisfied with how Paula and her team stepped up to help. Thank you!

This is a great little practice in an extremely convenient location for us midtown-downtown dwellers. I appreciate the text reminders for my 6 month appointments. The tools they use seem very state of the art. Ive never got the feeling they are trying to sell me something I dont need. We started going here because if recommendations from neighbors and have not been disappointed.

Awesome place. They have dental plans for people without insurance that are reasonable. The workers and the dentist are all very nice and personable, and most importantly, are not trying to scam you in any way. 10/10 would recommend.

This office is awesome!! I am an adult with braces and getting my teeth cleaned is a significant task, but despite that, my hygienist was exceptionally thorough. Dr. Cullinan has an up-to-date modern office with all the latest and greatest technology. Its located in a neighborhood area that is easily accessible. His exam was as complete and thorough as well. I highly recommend his office and services!

Dr. Cullinan always goes above and beyond what I expect during my appointments. In fact its the same great service from the time I walk in the door until the time I leave. The equipment is state of the art and that too is comforting knowing that nothing will be missed. Another thing I like about the doctor is he talks through some of the steps of what hes doing while hes working and that tells me hes present and focused. I have recommended this office to my family and friends.

Very friendly atmosphere, great schedule and competent staff.Fast forward a year, its a completely different experience, the staff turn over must be rampant. IMO its due to an Office Manager thats just not a ”People person”. On my last visit, I had a confrontation with her regarding my deductible and Flexible spending account while checking out.She was rude, condescending, rolled her eyes at me and pretty much implied I was an idiot.That didnt go well for her, and I was not the first to experience that based on their Yelp reviews.As I left the office I was met outside by 2 employees apologizing for her behavior. Implying she treats many that way, the very reason the employee turn over is so high there.Today I called because I’ve been having a problem with a crown recently installed. When calling to make an appointment, the same Manager answered, stating I was banned from the office because of my previous interaction with her. I asked to have Dr Cullinan return my call, was denied that request. Also asked to pick up my records she also denied that. Saying all I could have were photo copies of my X-rays the Dr owns the rest.Honestly, I have never experienced anything like this. And I find it odd when I requested the opportunity to speak with the Dr, she turned me down?The entire experience was mind-blowing, I am still shocked her behavior is tolerated by her employer.

I found this dentist after being told I had 4 cavities. I was dazed and confused, from the other dentist. James put my mind at ease and helped me put together what I needed from this dentist. I was worried I had to wait but I was given an appointment the following week. Just as I had suspected I have 0 cavities. Whew!Although his office is far from my house, I will make the trip! Straight forward and honest. He listened to me and showed me where it could look like a cavity but it was not. Very professional. Great staff. Highly recommended.

They made me feel super comfortable as a new patient that came in with a chipped tooth. I honestly thought it was the end of the world and they fixed it in under 10 minutes and it looked amazing with zero pain.... so... I found my new dentist :)

I was requested to reschedule my 3 month appointment based on the doctors availability. I obliged and requested them to to add stuffing to the cleaning appointment since I was suffering with sensitive tooth. Upon arrival, the hygienist got me ready for cleaning at which point I told her stuffing my sensitive tooth was more important than just cleaning. She said the doctor would take care of that after the cleaning.After faulty instruments not working and shifting rooms , I finally finished cleaning. At that point the doctor came in and me to show the problem teeth and I explained how sensitive it was. He asked me to set up a follow up appointment and said he wasn’t aware of any filling job for me for that day. I tried explaining to him and his assistant at which point he left the room abruptly without any kind of closure to the conversation.The assistant then said she would reschedule my appointment and after 10 mins of wait time asked me to visit office manager’s office. The office manager said they had messed up my appointment and the doctor had now discovered 2 additional filling to be done along with the 4 backlog in the earlier list. He then made an attempt to explain the payment chart, by which time I had made up my mind to change the doctor.I should have written a review long time ago, however giving this place multiple occasions to correct themselves was my mistake.

These folks are good. They did everything I needed and nothing not needed. Prompt, courteous, and gentle. Ill be back.

Have super bad anxiety about the dentist and fear of pain so much that I have avoided the dentist at all costs. When I went in, they did not shame me, they did not make me feel bad, and they did not lecture me about what I already knew about my dental hygiene habits. Instead, they were gentle and inderstanding not only of my teeth but my anxiety as well. I felt so supported and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone who has similar fears.

I have been with uptown family dentistry for about two years now. My experience has always been a great one. The staff are really friendly and professional.They don’t suggest any unnecessary work, which I had previously experienced with my last dentist.

I havent been to a Dentist in several years. I was searching online and found their website . They were offering a cleaning special for 19 $. Anyways I set up an appointment. Sam was who I spoke with, and she is such a dear. I went in with intentions of possibly braces. I am 62, and didnt think I could, but they were so positive about this happening for me. I was so estatic. That is why I quit dentistsfor a while because others have been so negative. All the staff at Uptown Dentistry are so welcoming and they explained everything to make my visit easier. I do recommend them. Just give them a call. Great experience!! Went there as a whole family. We were running a little late due to unavoidable circumstance and they were very accommodating and helpful despite of it. My two little ones enjoyed their visit as well, the staff were so friendly and made my kids enjoyed the whole process. The staff are very good in what they do. They make you feel welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

Staff is outstanding. Omar gave a very gentle cleaning and offered some really useful oral health tips along the way. Dr. Cullinan took his time and gave great service.I highly recommend.

The staff is very friendly and courteous. The payment plan is very reasonable. I had been thinking about getting braces for quite some time, so I finally pulled the trigger (for the second time since high school). No regrets. Dr.Cullinan is an expert orthodontist and he makes you feel at ease.
