Best experience I’ve ever had . I will never go anywhere else! Cassie is an absolute wizard when it comes to coloring! I’ve been through stylist after stylist trying to achieve the color I wanted and she absolutely nailed it the first time and continues to outdo herself.

The salon is absolutely beautiful I love that they have the windows blacked out in the front so people cant look in at you while youre getting your hair done. The bathrooms always clean you can sneak out the side door and get a breath of fresh air if you need to in between processes.. and I havent met anybody there that works there that I have not loved to death. Ive never once been disappointed with my hair from there.

Ive been going here for over a year now seeing Kate who was recommended to me by a previous stylist. This is the first salon Ive felt like I could build a relationship with because they truly understand my hair and are completely honest and nonjudgemental with me and my impulsive hair decisions. Kate makes sure that the integrity of my hair is prioritized rather than doing random/extreme methods to achieve results like previous stylists that ended up staining/damaging my hair. The haircuts Ive gotten are also some of the best Ive had in my life tbh, usually stylists cant manage how thick it is. The salon is generally pretty accessible when I drive and isnt too far from the Girard station, so its worth coming from West Philly.

The staff here are amazing and so supportive. Ronnie has been helping me with my hair loss, and shes so funny and does a wonderful job with the quality of her work. I definitely, absolutely, 100% recommend love and hair peace. They are a life saver 🙌❤

When I first went to the salon, it was for a consultation with Cassie. She explained the solutions she could offer for my very thin hair. My lack of hair on my crown had made me feel self-conscious for a long time. She suggested a hair piece that is attached via tape and glue so that it stays in place for 6 weeks at a time. It was a great solution for me because I can swim, go to the beach, work out, and there are no restrictions. I’ll be honest. It’s not cheap. The hair piece itself if a big investment, and the appointments every 6 weeks are an added expense, but for me it’s absolutely worth it. My hair looks amazing, the piece blends perfectly with my natural hair, and I couldn’t be happier with the change in my appearance. I’ve been coming to the salon for over a year now. These days, Ronnie does my hair, and she’s awesome. The salon is clean, the staff is friendly, and the results are incredible. I wholeheartedly recommended this salon to anyone -whether you have thin hair or not!

I’ve been getting my hair done by Cassie and her lovely team for over 7 years. I’ve gotten a wide variety of styles done - Long extensions, bonded, crazy fashion colors, basic colors, chopped all my hair into a pixie, got more extensions, etc. - and love it every single time. They’re very professional, and make me feel comfortable and at ease with my trouble spots. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without this salon. I see Kate now and she rocks. All the ladies there are incredibly talented and know what they’re doing. 10/10 recommend!

The ladies at Love and Hair Peace are amazing. I had spent years trying to find a way to hide my rapidly thinning hair and hair loss, which started around the age of 27. By the time I got 30 and was coming up on my best friends wedding, I had gone through several stylists and salons, multiple hair styles, hair coloring, and enough products and devices to supply a beauty pagent. I had had enough, and was dreading my hair issues being memorialized in pictures. Cassie changed all that. She took time out of her maternity leave to meet me in the shop for a 1:1 to talk me through all the options, and recommended a hair peace. I was really unsure, given the way I had seen them stigmatized, but Cassie was super understanding and did not pressure me AT ALL. It felt like talking to a girlfriend who happened to be an expert in hair. I ultimately took the plunge and have been so happy ever since. Since then, Ive had services by everyone in the shop, and have been consistently happy. The ladies do GREAT work and use excellent quality products--people are always shocked when I tell them I wear a hairpiece. The shop is young, vibrant, welcoming, and fun while still professional. So much positive energy. I cannot recommend them enough!!!

I cant recommend this place enough. Cassie and all of the girls are absolutely wonderful. Everyone is so kind and welcoming and also extremely professional. Ive been coming here for almost 5 years and have gotten everything from a quick highlight touchup to a full head of hair extensions and Cassie does a beautiful job every time.

I have been a loyal client of Love and Hair Peace for about 5 years now. I’ve dealt with hair loss due to Lupus symptoms and was very self-conscious about it. Meeting Cassie and spending time with her during my consultation showed me how comfortable I could be talking to her about my concerns and her wealth of knowledge led to gaining self esteem and hair I always get compliments on. All of the girls there are amazing and make you feel like family. It’s like hanging out with some great friends and sharing laughs while also getting quality hair care. They care about each of their clients hair journeys and it shows.

Since I wont be going back to an office for at least 6 months I decided to take advantage and go blue! I sent some inspiration aqua photos ahead of time and on the day of we talked through all the different options and colors and settled on the most perfect color with texture and movement and variation. Its exactly what I envisioned. Could not be more ecstatic! Ill be going back for upkeep as long as I dont have to go back to the office and can keep my favorite new color.

Cassie and her crew are pros! They saved me from epic home hair coloring fails! The shop has an artsy Fishtown fun vibe and they can do anything from filling in luxurious styles when you need a boost to multi-color festival hair. I have been suffering from trichotillomania (hair pulling) for about 15 years. It was a miracle in and of itself to find a salon that specializes in hair restoration for clients who suffer from trichotillomania as well as those who suffer from alopecia or who are going through chemotherapy. It was even more of a miracle to be treated like someone who is struggling with a disorder, and not someone who is merely identified or categorized by it.I have been a client of Cassies for nearly 10 years, when she started to create and build a business of her own. She and her team are discreet, polite, determined, understanding, trained, and qualified stylists and technicians. Cassie has attended and spoken at trich conferences and has received multiple awards for her specializing in hair restoration. Suffering from a disorder like trich, where you are the sole responsible party for the destructive behavior that you should, as many say, just be able to stop is infuriating, depressing, and exhausting. Ive gone through good weeks and bad, and Ive gone through good years and bad ones. Cassie has helped me navigate various potential solutions for all states of my hair during the past 10 years, and not once, ever, have I been judged for a relapse.Love and Hair Peace is a clean and welcoming salon. Each client has their own hair box that is labeled and stored. All employees assist with cleaning, and I see someone cleaning sinks, the floor, products and doing laundry every time I go in. Cassie even set up a private area of the salon for consultations and for clients who would like more privacy.I have been treated with nothing more than the utmost respect and professionalism when I go into Love and Hair Peace. The girls are all so skilled and friendly. Appointments always begin promptly, yet they space them apart enough to take time to meet each clients needs. My cuts and color are always on point, and the exfoliating scalp treatment is AMAZING. Man, woman, short, long, layered, or curly... this is the place to go!

I started taking my daughter to Cassie in about 2011 for her trich, and have never regretted it. My daughter is now an adult and a long-time client. Cassie is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, talented in her craft, constantly keeping up-to-date on new methods and products and her staff is wonderful. Cassie is an angel and a miracle worker. I have trichotillomania and my hair is mostly shoulder length but 3 inches long at best on my crown. She set me up with a hair piece that looks totally natural and gave me more confidence than Ive had in years. My hair has always been a sensitive topic for me, and not once in the 5 hours I was with her did I feel self conscious. She, Kate and Ronni (sp) lightened and toned my hair and the piece to the exact color I wanted. I was crazy nervous because she got me in 2 days before my wedding and it was my first time wearing any kind of extensions, but she and her team blew me away .Be prepared to spend a good bit if you get extensions, but thats only because she uses the highest quality Remy human hair and it is oh so worth the price. I could not be more grateful for this salon!

She was very understanding and willing to refund my money and fix my hair, she was insistent that she didn’t want anyone to leave unhappy and didn’t want me to take matters into my own hands, and now my hair looks just like what I’d asked for.Old review:I showed pictures of what I was looking for (a reddish purple color) and told her specifically that I didn’t want a blue purple. She agreed that blue would be a bad idea, said that she and I were similarly complicated and that red purple was the way to goWhat did I get $220 later? Blue purple. She didn’t tell me until too late that she’d used some “midnight pearl” color that has a blue base. TF?More minor complaints: She didn’t pick up on the fact that I wasn’t up for chit chat. I don’t truly fault her for this because it is probably something the owner pushes, but c’mon. Same with the product pushing. I know you have to do it, but it’s annoying when I’ve told you three times already that I’m happy with the products I have
