The best salon in Philadelphia. The staff was unparalleled in their professionalism and skill. I’ve been a customer for 17 years. Alan and his team were just amazing. From the moment you walked in you felt right at home and then you would leave looking like a million bucks!

Everyone who works there is friendly and professional. Angel does a great job on my hair and Yvette provides great hair washes to aid him. I always leave the salon with great styles from Angel.

The prices are great and the whole salon is warm and friendly . Danielle did my hair and brought me back to life and has a great personality with good conversation. Can’t wait for when she needs to bring me back to life again ... maybe even blonder ha! I would recommend this place to everyone.

The people there are wonderful from the shampoo people to the stylists. Everyone is extremely pleasant and they do a great job of giving the customer what they want. The price is also very competitive which is great in the city.Why not 5 stars then? Simple. Convenience. I was just told that they dont want to take credit cards any longer. This is 2014. Like many people I do not carry cash around -- especially in the city. The last thing I want to have to think about it having to stop at the bank to get out the exact amount of cash Ill need to get the job done.I was in the credit card business for years and if the cost of taking cards is too high for them then someone isnt doing a good enough job of getting the right provider. There are countless ways to cut that overhead that 90% of businesses never look into. As a result, customers need to be inconvenienced. I will often make a decision on the spur of the moment as to a service or a tip level that a cash requirement will entirely quash. This is typical penny-wise/pound-foolish thinking. As a result, Im not sure Ill be returning, which is a real shame.

I did color my hair here and had the worst experience ever. I asked brown color , she did red and after second try , it didn’t color at all . Under the sun it looks red but other time it is still black .The other thing , quality of their color is so low . My pillow and towel are getting red because of the bad quality of color . Will never return again. Don’t waste your money here .

I have been an Image client for about 3 years. I am a client of Alan, the owner. I am always happy with my hair when I leave the salon. It is always what I had in mind. Alan and the team are extremely talented. You can tell by the heads that walk out of the salon; always flattering.They run on schedule and the prices are fair. I recommend Image Salonto men and women alike and all ages. They are the best.

Took my mom for her Hair color and Romina did an amazing job.

I was very disappointed in this hair salon and their customer service. I asked for blonde hi-lights and the stylist insisted on using a toner with it to blend the color. He ended up using a darker toner than he meant to (didnt read the bottle before using it), which resulted in an unfavorable hair color (light brown with an orange tone to it). He put another lighter toner in and it still did not lighten up enough. He then tried to strip the color out. I had a charity ball that night and was very disappointed in the color and texture of my hair. I was told that the color should lighten up over the next 2 weeks and to use dish soap in my shampoo! It still hasnt lightened up at all and feels really rough. I wasnt charged for the color but was still charged 50 dollars for a haircut! I was very disappointed that I didnt get a completely free service or a voucher to come back another day when I had free time to correct the color of my hair. While the stylist was nice, just based on the way the mistake was handled, I would not recommend this place.

Ive been going to this place for 15 years. Their prices are reasonable and the people are very friendly. I have a very busy schedule and they always manage to squeeze me in.

BEWARE!! Went in for a trim and asked for a few inches off. They took off more than 10 and it looks awful. I have never been to a worse salon. I kept saying that looked like too much and they said this is what you asked for and its just the layers. If you are thinking about trying this salon out, I would suggest trying somewhere else if you want a place that will listen to what you need.

I was really hesitant on coming here because of their lack of reviews and social media, but boy was I proven wrong! My stylist knew exactly what I wanted and gave me exactly that! Was the first time that I have gotten a haircut and not immediately put it in a ponytail. Never been happier with a haircut:)

BAD! I went in and asked for a long bob (even brought 3 seperate photos) and asked for about 2.5 inches off. he took off closer to 5, i even said in the beginning when he started to cut that this is too short and he said this is what you asked for. My hair doesnt even fit into a pony tail anymore but maybe now i can get a job for an impersinator for one of the Hanson brothers
