Bounced around to many salons. Hand down THE BEST!!!! Had the most incredible experience here! I can not recommend this salon enough! They completely transformed my hair to beautiful, shiny, natural looking extensions. The salon was clean, the staff was friendly and punctual.

I can say so much but it would be a book long. So in a nutshell… they went above and beyond the call of duty and most important they delivered. I went there from a referral from a nurse who I said “who does your hair?” she responds Tundella HECTOR. Like I said it will have to write a book to give you all the amazing details but bottom line, my friends have been mesmerized to say the least and they only saw the results I EXPERIENCED it. Iam now a new client and can’t wait to go back! 💗P.S. There is no comparing this place to any other and this is coming from someone who has been at the top salons from all over the world. They were all very professional and pleasant to be around. My stylist was Hector, he was very informative about my hair. He took his time and explained step by step what he was doing and what was to expect. He gave me the best massage to my scalp that I almost feel asleep. Will be returning in the next 8weeks. Highly recommend this place .

This was my first time going to Tundella Salon and I absolutely loved it ! Literally the best hair salon I ever went to! They were so welcoming, nice, clean, professional, sweet, and I was very comfortable! I felt like I knew them forever Nichols was so sweet we talked the whole entire time and Gustavo did such a GREAT job my hair came out sooooooo PERFECT ! I went in for a Keratin treatment for straight hair and a haircut. The haircut was fine but after spending 2-3 hrs at the salon, the Keratin treatment didnt work at all..not even a little bit. They offered to redo it for free but didnt promise what I wanted..Dont have the patience and the time to get disappointed twice.Pros: Friendly Staff

I didn’t go to a hair salon for 2 years after having few bad experiences from some who don’t wanna deal with my thick hair to those who refuse to dry it and those who turned it orange and give me a bad hair cut. But the second I walked in here i felt welcomed, the whole team is amazing, friendly and professional, had my kératine done and Anna was just lovely and took good care of me, can’t wait to get my extensions done. Thank you guys❤️

I had lashes by Kris and loved my experience and the end result. The salon is clean and bright and the music was perfect—I felt very relaxed. Also I had no idea what to ask for with my lashes and Kris was helpful and professional and I love love the outcome. Can’t wait to go back when I need another set and to try other services. I had the worst experience of my life at GT Salon. One week before my wedding I made an appointment for hair color and hair extension. They cancelled it and re-scheduled 1 day before my wedding, I was really worry but Gustavo Tundella said that everything wasgoing to be alright. I spent 8 hours at the salon because they didn’t know how to color my hair, they made a mistake with the color and had to re color again. The result was horrible, they literally destroy my hair, and took me 1 year to recover my healthy hair and color. I have spent a lot of money in salon hair treatments and the worst of the situation is that I had the worst hair color on my wedding day. After their mistakes they charged me $800 dollars. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED!

Gustavo cut my hair and he put so much effort into it. It looks great and if I lived here I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Great work and great atmosphere.

I moved to the area from Manhattan and bounced around looking for a salon for months and finally found one that is awesome! Rich has been doing my hair once a week for over a year. His talent with color rivals the best colorists anywhere and his blow out is amazing. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly. You will not be disappointed.

Gustavo Tundella is my favorite hairstylist. Ive been seeing Gustavo since he was in Miami and Ive been doing my hair with him since. I was so excited when I found out he opened his own salon in Philly. I drive 1 1/2 to 2 hrs every time I go see him since I live in NJ and its well worth the drive. He has a great staff at his salon. Everyone is very hospitable, professional and attentive. He listens to what I want and doesnt deviate from my requests. Sometimes I just want a change, but Im not sure which way to go and his creative side never disappoints. Theres nothing he cant do. You want extensions, hell do them. He even has his own hair extension line. He is a true artist and will have my business for as long as hes around. Cant wait for my next visit. ❤️💆🏻💇🏻

I have been going to see Gustavo at Tundella almost since they opened. I am not one of those people who wants to go in ever month or every other month to get a trim, nor do I want a hairstyle that has to have a lot of work done each day to look good. Let me tell you, I have NEVER had a haircut that looks this good, with so little effort. PLUS, it grows out so well that I only need to go back about every 5-6 months. Its fabulous!Do yourself a favor. Try them. Everyone there is fantastic.

BEWARE! this was the one of the worst experiences I have ever had. We booked this salon for hair and makeup before a wedding. Visiting from out of town this we recommended to us. Our original appointment was scheduled for 10 AM. The owner called and pushed it back to 10:30 the morning of the appointment. Upon arrival the salon was locked and dark. Two hired contractors arrived at 10:45 and did not have a key. After they broke into the place, the owner finally showed up a little after 11. The salon was dirty, trash cans were full, they didnt have shampoo at the hair washing stations. The hired contractors did a pretty good job, but there were two stylist for 5 people for hair and make up. The owner of the salon tried to help with make up, but we were not happy with the results.They also claim their credit card machine is broken and you can only use cash. I WOULD NOT VISIT THIS SALON! It honestly seems like this place isnt in business anymore and they are just using the space on the weekends.

Ive been going to Tundella salon for over 1 year and Gustavo and his staff are awesome! I feel very well taken care of the entire time Im in the spa and most importantly listened to as to what my goals are for my hair style and color. Great hair extensions and beautiful blend of colors to make it all come together very naturally. Id recommend this salon to anyone and I will return for sure.

Tundella was absolutely the best salon experience that I have had in the city. They were very easy to work with and gave me a great cut and color. The owner is a famous stylist and really trains his people very well. I am now a regular and loyal customer. Very convenient location too!

Ive been getting my hair cut here for about a year now. Theyre very friendly, accommodating and do a great job cutting guys hair. Gustavo, the owner, and Oxana both do a great job. I definitely recommend them, especially if youre looking to get more than just a standard guys hair cut.

Love this place. I needed a quick blowout one day and Amira really blessed my hair. I tried it out again to make sure it wasn’t one of those salons that are inconsistent and I then immediately bought a package. Nick and Amira really work their magic every time. If I get any stylist I’m super happy. They are all talented and really make you feel at home. Judgement free and super awesome to come and just enjoy your time. Sometimes they offer wine and light snacks which is a plus. I’m super picky where I get my hair done and NEVER write reviews but they deserve it. I love This place!

Thank you Rich for a wonderfully creative updo. The staff was pleasant and the service was great. I came in from Dallas for a wedding at The Monaco. They were able to see me same day and got me out in about an hour.

They took me last minute- they were very flexible on timing which I was very greatful for. Another stylist stood me up and I had to find somewhere else to go so that my hair could look nice for a special event. Everyone was super friendly. Haircut and blow out by Lauren was fast and looked great after. I normally dont like how my hair cut looks until a couple weeks after, so that was a major win! They gave me some 25% off cards for me and my friends. I will definitely be going back and sending friends.

Tundella Salon in Olde City is the best hair salon in Philadelphia for extensions and literally any other hair or beauty service imaginable., I came to Tundella in September of 2015 for an extension consultation after years of wishing for super long healthy natural looking hair. Head Stylist and Owner Gustavo recommended I add 12-14 inches to my already shoulder length hair using a cutting edge extension technique that uses medical grade tape as an application method. The results are super smooth, long lasting (6 months with care), dramatic and incredibly natural looking. Do not go here! Salon was recommended by hotel concierge for wedding hair Updo and makeup. We called for 2 appointments, letting them know what time we had to be back at hotel to dress for photos and asked them to tell us what times we needed gone there. We went into the salon the day before to ask whether hair should be clean or wet and were told to come in later than original time. When we showed up (Saturday mid day) the salon was understaffed. Makeup person was a freelancer who had never been there before. (She was only good thing about salon). One stylist and one helper could not manage; they did a horrible job on our hair-dos and made us late. We had to redo our hair. We were so disappointed and upset ; this is not a professional salon. They were unpologetic. Terrible experience

They did exactly what i asked for. I needed balayage , and all I asked for was color. I ended up with beautiful balayage , complemented by hair extensions. My hair was damaged when I came in, but I wanted to be blond, that beautiful ashy blond...they said: No, bleach is not for you.... And they recommended extensions. My hair Now is sooooo beautiful!!!! This is the best hair salon in Philly!!!!

Had a Keratin treatment with Gustavo (owner). Amazing. He definitely knows what he is doing and has a good eye for what works and what doesnt.

I felt cheated by the owner, Gustavo. He charged me $450 for a keratine treatment which was a bad product because my hair feels dry and doesn’t look shiny and the worst part is the smell. I was better before I went there. I tried to call him to see if we can fix the situation and intead he became angry and refused to rationally resolve the situation.
