I typically avoid doctors, I haven’t had great experiences. I went in for a well visit today with low expectations, and left with good vibes. Front desk staff were friendly, nurse was personable and kind, and Dr Cohn was great. Easy to talk to, had helpful feedback. Glad to have established care here!

Dr.Nolt was my provider. Refuse to call regarding test results. Didnt do a full physical exam. Complained about the issue and he discharged me from the practice. Was with the practice for over 15 years. Never had any issues with any other providers besides Dr.Nolt.

I did not have any problems with my doctor, Dr. Nash, who was lovely to work with and always responded to me in a timely fashion, but had problems with the office/management. Most recently, Dr. Nash ordered 3 imaging studies for me to do and no one called me back for two weeks to give me the results. When I finally did call to check on this, I was told my doctor would call me back. A day later another doctor called me with the results (who was also friendly and thoroughly explained the results). When I inquired if he was filling in for Dr. Nash, he informed he that she left the practice and was surprised the office didnt tell me that (which he assumed I already knew).... Not only that, but the test indicated that additionally follow-up was required, causing a delay in my treatment. Even during COVID-19 (June 2020), this is unacceptable. I especially dont know why they didnt tell me my doctor left the practice when I called to ask about my results (and specifically mentioned Dr. Nash ordered these)... Additionally, nearly every time I have requested a referral, the receiving office (different ones) claimed not to have received it the first time. A minor critique - the office hours do not match their call hours and this is not indicated anywhere on their website (website says is only 8 to 5 p.m., but you actually can only call from 8:30 to 4:30) - that one doesnt bother me as much. I like the doctors here, but it is a pain dealing with the office.

Giving 1 star because it cant go below that. Worst staffs I have ever faced. I called for an appointment, the staff picked up and directly put me on hold, came back after 10 minutes, took half of my details and put me on hold again for next 10 minutes. Then, she picked up and asked for all the details again. On top of that, at no point she offered an apology. Pathetic service.

My experience with this Penn Medicine location over the past three years has been very positive. The office seems to run efficiently and the care and manner of the health care professionals is very good.Recently this week, someone working the phones went above and beyond to assist me and I was so appreciative. I regret not catching her name to appropriately thank her.I’ve been a patient at this location for about 8 years and once, several years ago in the midst of winter (read: flu season) I was kept waiting for nearly an hour to be seen by a physician. It was uncomfortable and inconvenient and I was suffering from acute bronchitis but our healthcare demands that people be triaged and I’m willing to give the benefit of the doubt that someone needed the doctors attention before me.

Dr. Nolt is the best primary physician I have ever had. He has a great demeanor. He is compassionate and thorough. He never makes me feel rushed and always has time for questions. I have never waited more than one minute over my appointment. His RN, Katy is super nice and personable, and also thorough in her history taking and clinical skills. They seem very invested in my health and well-being. I am thrilled they are around the corner. I feel well cared for!

This practice is frustrating. Taking an hour for lunch every day means patients have even less of their own precious time to get in contact with the staff here, who rarely return calls promptly. My experience with them leads me to believe they are more interested in whats easiest for the office, rather than whats best for patients.

I had a chest ex ray. I heard nothing for three days and then received a phone call on the 5th day. Now, eight days later, I received another phone call about the diagnosis. If it were not for Dr. David Smith, who is excellent and unfortunately not available to treat me, I would not be there. This practice needs an efficiency-purging enema. The nicely-outfitted, high-heeled provider obviously had other things to do.

All of the negative reviews here are true. This place is the worst at responding to patients in a timely manner, getting back to patients about test results, and even responding to prescription refill requests. The staff can be helpful at times, so long as you get the exact right person who can help. The 1.5 hour lunch break where phone calls are routed to an answering service that can only ask the caller to call back later is maddening. I cant imagine why any competent doctor would associate him/herself with this office.

Horrible, unprofessional, unreliable.I left a message with the staff explaining that I was getting an MRI and needed a sedative for my claustrophobia. They hurriedly took my message and phone number and hung up without any further information. After waiting an hour for a call back, I tried calling again and only got their answering service. The woman told me the office reopens at 8 am and to try then. After several failed calls the next morning, the office finally opened at 8:25, picked up, and immediately PUT ME ON HOLD. 8 minutes later, someone finally came on and told me that the script was filled yesterday. I asked her why no one called me yesterday to tell me that, and her response was that everyone in the office leaves at 5. Hope it was worth saving the extra 30 seconds in rush hour traffic to get home. Way to put yourselves before your patients. Time to find a new doctor. Never going back here again!

Dr. Nashleanas was thorough and did not rush me upon first initial visit. However, I wasnt feeling well a few weeks later and called to make an appointment with her. I was told the earliest appointment with any doctor at the practice would be 10 days later. (And theyre not even available at lunch hour). Are you kidding?Unacceptable and I changed doctors.

I would actually like to give 0 stars. This office is the absolute worst. An article appeared in the health section of the Philadelphia Inquirer today from a Professor who has studied what constitutes good patient care. This office does NONE of the things he suggests. This offices disorganized, haughty, and insensitive manner are leading me to move on. If I did my work the way they do theirs I would have been fired a long time ago.

I dont agree with the negative reviews posted about this practice. Ive been coming here for ~4 years with an overall positive experience. I can usually get an appointment quickly; wait times are short; the staff are generally helpful; prescription requests are filled promptly; messages returned promptly; I like my Dr. (Nolt). The office *can* be a little hard to get in touch with (as others have noted) but I dont find this to be a huge issue. They call me back, plus Ive learned when to call and when not to (e.g., during lunch). Ive had a few other minor bumps along the way which could happen with any practice. Overall recommended.

Dr. Nashleanas is a very thorough doctor. However, a few weeks later I needed an urgent referral for infectious disease doctor and my condition worsened. I left a message for doctor, the office never called me back, and I had to call back! Unfortunately, the support staff is inadequate here. I will be finding another doctor ASAP! RUN AWAY from this practice they DO NOT HAVE THE PATIENT IN MIND!!

It is a horrible horrible place!! You cannot get hold of anyone even when you call them so many times. Very inefficient...I asked them specifically to do blood work for TB and dr.nolt understood that I needed that for school immunization record - yet somehow they did polio and never did Tb!!!! Which was what I went there for specifically!! It is a waste of money time and my blood!

Unfortunately, the office manager and support team do NOT have their patients wellbeing in mind. After numerous calls to the office manager and staff for help with a pre-authorization prescription that my husband desperately needed and an expedited appointment to be seen by our Doctor for urgent situation, to our disappointment we found ourselves in the ER. The manager never called us back, the pre authorization was never initiated (now day 4) as promised, and we were told several times we couldnt be seen until a week or so later. Im sorry, but this kind of service is absolutely unacceptable! At least call us back, or offer something, anything. My husband was having such difficulty breathing, severe asthma and chronic cough, he wasnt sleeping, or able to talk or work with out coughing up a lung, he was using his inhaler ever 1/2 hr, we needed help and this practice failed us. We now have a huge ER bill to deal with and still waiting on a pre authorization for a prescription. We are feeling very disappointed. I would not recommend this practice to anyone.

Although this office is terrible, it is not at all representative of the overall Penn Medicine quality of care. Everyone Ive encountered here is rude and unhelpful. Its poorly management and they do not seem to care about the well being of their patients.
