.I had my Ins company calling around for a doc appt as I do not have a primary doc assigned yet...so we all speak to Dr. Ellis on Monday 8/9 The dr said come down today and ahe can wait to be seen...so I go down there. And tell the front desk girl who proceeds to tell me ya...its super busy...how about I give you an appt for tomorrow 8/10...ok..I say great..I just need a referral for an ENT so its not even going to take long...well guess what...I show up today for my appt and no one is there ..call and leave a message with the nasty guy at the answering service and he said he doesnt know whats happening...well I know this...I will be there tomorrow morning 8/11 to be seen...as my appt was not honored...and I have an ear infection that needs to be addressed...been to the er 3xs....Dr. Ellis I will be there tomorrow..first thing....I need 5 mins of your time as I have an ent appt at 1030 tomorrow I cannot miss...and your front desk fGirl who gave me an appt on a day no one was there is just a terrible way to treat someone...so doc...5 mins of your time...thank you

Dr. Ellis is a very caring Dr. He listens and explains things very well. I would recommend him to everyone. He also makes house calls for senior citizens.

Last year, before the pandemic forced everything to shut down, I had an appointment to review the blood work results from a lab. The review appointment was after the shut down. I go to the office, doors are locked. I got no call, no notice of cancellation. When I called the phone number, I was elected to an answering service. They said they will get someone to call me back. I never got a call back.

Our primary doctor retired and had recommended Dr. Ellis. It took me months to get an appointment for my husband. The day before the appointment I called and spoke with the doctors office and confirmed the appointment. Shortly thereafter, I got a text from some sort of service stating that the doctor would not be in the office on the date of the appointment and to call and reschedule. I called during business hours to get the status of the appointment and was sent to their voicemail. I left a detailed message asking to call me. Their office never called so I called the morning of the appointment and was asked to hold. I waited 12 minutes, hung up and called again. I then was on hold for 48 minutes. When the call was finally answered, I was told that someone called and spoke with me to reschedule the appointment for the following Tuesday. NO ONE spoke with me or my husband or was there a voice mail left. I also asked about the average wait time to see the doctor for a scheduled appointment and was told it depends. When I pressed on for an answer I was told one hour. After reading the reviews and this experience, WE WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR. In addition, I was told the doctor WAS in the office on the date of the scheduled appointment, and that my husband was bumped from the schedule.

Very unprofessional. I will never go back to this place

I was scheduled for an appointment on 9/28/20, when I got to the office it was closed. I called answering service 7 times, after I left and got in work, was told I think they are closed for the holiday.I called on 9/29/20 and was told there was no one on the schedule, after I have an appointment card with 9/28/20 at 9:10 A. M. . Then was put on hold, after I finally hung up.

I had a 2:40 appointment and got there at 2:15 only to find the doors locked. Thinking they were at lunch I sat outside in the cold with my 4 yo son. At 2:40 doors still locked so I called only to get an answering service telling me they were closed. Would it have been alot to call and notify their patients of the closure?

In short, this place is a joke.They just moved to a new location at 12th and Shunk. Did they bother to call their customers and let them know? No. I showed up at the old location only to be confronted by a sign on the door directing me to the new location.Do they get your appointment times correct? No. Twice they messed up the time of day that my appointment was scheduled for.Do you have to wait an hour and a half to see the doctor? Yes.Does the doctor prescribe unnecessary and questionable medications? YesDo they send out appoint reminders? NoWill they call you if you miss an appointment? No

Some people think Dr. Ellis is not a good doctor, I however have been going to Dr. Ellis office for about 3 years now, and every month I see Dr. Ellis, once a month. He has personally never given me a problem ever. He is always very nice to me, and has a wonderful bedside manner, he always asks how I am feeling, and refills my prescriptions with no questions asked. He is very friendly, and very talkative, and sometimes cracks a joke or two, when I go there for my visits, and always checks my blood pressure, my weight, and height, he also takes my blood test every 6 months to check to make sure everything is going good with my health. I highly recommend Dr. Ellis to anyone who needs a Primary Care Physician! I read in some of the reviews that some patients think the office is filthy. Well as of now the office has made an update to the condition of the office, it is kept clean, and neat now, and now has a new TV which is on at all times, with programs that regard your health, well being, and keeping a healthy diet, and doing regular exercise to maintain your health. If you pay attention to the health programs while you are there, you can actually learn a lot of things you didnt even know while you are there waiting for your doctors visit.

Advice dont go there ,youll spend all your time seating there ,nothing serious in that office unprofessional doctor and team bad bad services, I am wondering where he get his license and how he still working . Never seen doctor office like that .

So far Ive been a patient since Thanksgiving, and I cant get an appointment. I call and am put on hold, not exaggerating, for 20-30 min. Or the phone is busy, or the answering people pick up after 9. Ridiculous

I have not been to this office. However I did have an appointment scheduled. The day before my appointment, I called the office to confirm. I asked the receptionist how long is the wait usually. She told me it depends on when the doctor comes in. I said so if my appt is at 10... and he doesnt come in til 11... I wont be seen til 11? She said No, because if he comes in at 11.. he has two patients before you at 9 and 9:30. He will see them first. In other words, he comes in whenever he wants. You can sit there ALL DAY. He takes appointments but doesnt honor the appointment time. If you go on yelp, there are several people who complained about waiting for over 3 hours.

Currently in the office my appointment was at 2:00 and it now 3:10 I’m really mad cause I have another appointment to go to yet I still waiting for this one good doctor but waiting time is awful

This place is awful, I called for an appointment and the receptionist lied to me and said they were closed only to find out later they had been opened. They got a new receptionist now who is rude & vulgar. I was told they still accepted walk in appointments over the phone but apparently did not when I got there. It has always been a sketchy place but unfortunately for me, it is the closest primary I can get. I went in at 2 and she told me we should have locked the door because we are closed so I told her your hours are listed til 4 and it should be changed.

Ive been going to doctor ellis office for number of years now I have always found him to be professional he always ask what is wrong he takes the time to spend with you to find out what is wrong unlike a lot of doctors who want to just get you in and out and not find out why youre there thats why doctor Ellis is the only doctor I goto he comes highly recommended

Its a clean office but to many patients to be seen at the same time

I make late appointments, so not much time waiting.
