Linh is the best if you want a nice quiet deep massage! Pauline is great if you prefer to chat!Very consistent place. Mimosas with your visit (and if they dont offer automatically, just ask!). You can find deals on Groupon or their website & they will do their best to accommodate your schedule. Self care is the best care.

Val was amazing, as were the front desk staff. I was lucky enough to land a same-day appointment! When I called they talked with me about the benefits of different service types which was helpful in deciding what was best for me. As a woman, I had never had a massage from a male therapist and it was a concern, but Val was very informative, very professional and I actually prefer it because the pressure of the massage was perfect. I wish I lived in the area to visit regularly but if youre ever in Philly looking to relax and recharge, Skincare Lounge is a must!

I called last minute for massages and they were so accommodating!! The massage therapist I had “Tony” he was INCREDIBLE! hands down best massage I’ve ever had and I’ve been to a lot. Tony unlike a lot of massage therapists was consistent with his pressure from the beginning of the massage to the end. I have chronic back and shoulder pain to where I get headaches. He used amazing techniques no ones used before to get all my specific knots out. I got a deep tissue and I for the first time felt looser vs just relaxed. Tony was amazing and really listened to what I wanted. Highly recommend and will be coming back!!!

This Spa was Amazing ! All in all the best from the online booking to actually walking in. Katelyn the receptionist was very personable and knowledgeable about questions we had upon entry, and we was a little late because I failed to ask questions about parking prior to my appointment date. The massage therapist were waiting for us and were not bothered by our untimely arrival … just like 5 mins. Lol They were Linh and Lisa were so friendly, and ready to provide service. The experience didn’t feel like our first time as they were natural in there techniques and respecting if we wanted to converse or have quiet while servicing us. They asked questions as it pertained to the service while providing the hot stone massage. I just feel so relieved, I didn’t even know I could feel so loose. The facial made my skin feel so alive! All in all it was grand. I strongly recommend this spa. I will be returning next month :) We also had mimosas and fresh fruit after our massages and facials. The service was TOP TIER. Val also was amazing at assisting us in our payment at the end of the service and aiding Katelyn without hesitation and was very efficient and friendly.

Lisa was so amazing! She was really great about what areas I wanted to focus on and how much pressure I was good with. I was having shoulder pain and the next day later I felt soooooo much better. Definitely will be going back. The facility has a nice atmosphere and I like how the rooms are private! The facials by Pauline are also amazing. Will definitely be going back!

My partner and I had great massages here on Sunday. Initially I had concerns in regards to booking and communication that happened but the overall experience with the massage and when we were in the spa was flawless. They ran behind but they upgraded us with back scrub which was an amazing addition. I had Val and he was great, sometimes deep tissue massage can be a little overwhelming but he made it seamless and fixed the issue with pain in my shoulder that I had for months now. My partner had Lynn and he was so impressed she was so thorough and even spent extra time to work on the issues with his back. We will definitely be back when in town!

I rarely write reviews unless i felt affected from the experience.Pro: The facial experiences I had at this place were good and enjoyable and the estheticians are really nice.Con: Not sure if the website is to blame for this or if it’s something else. I made a product purchase from this place which was more expensive than it was on the dermalogica website. They’d explained to me its because they get buy it at a certain price from the company. Fine, so I returned it because I can get it cheaper from ulta. This left me with a store credit which I used to get a couple of facials from. They didn’t tell me the balance I had from the first facial but I thought I had an idea based on their website. When I went to use the balance with another facial something didn’t add up. Based on their website, my balance was different from what they told me when i arrived (strike one). Next, I was charged more in difference than what they told me the balance was (I didn’t ask for anything extra in the service so that’s strike two). I didn’t say anything because I’m not that type of person and paid what they told me. Strike three is that their receipt doesn’t show anything but what they charge you. So you have no idea the actual cost of the service, if there’s taxes or whatnot. Don’t think I’ll be in a rush to go back even though I liked the facials.

This past weekend I had the Escape package which consisted of a facial and a massage, each 1 hour. It was my first time getting a facial and I loved it. My esthetician was Anika (I hope I spelled that right). Once I told her it was my first time, she was excellent at letting me know what products she was using and its benefits. She did an excellent job and my skin looks fantastic! I had Val for my massage and he was just as excellent. Took his time, was very relaxing. My only problem with my afternoon there was the robes were just a little small. I dont know if they had a one size fits all situation, or I should have just asked for a larger one. But walking through the halls from facial to massage and then to the locker room felt a little exposing due to the tiny robe. Robe issue aside, it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend.

I have been seeing Anthony at Skincare Lounge for over 10 years now! Simply put he’s the best! Always very professional and courteous. I often go on my lunch break so I’m tight for time but never feel rushed and am always fully satisfied with my service! Get in the elevator and go straight to the third floor. I booked an appointment for a back and shoulder wax over the phone and they were able to fit me in at very short notice. Walking in, I felt instant relaxed and at ease. Kayleigh checked me in at reception and was super helpful, professional and chatty. My technician was Anika and I found her also to be very professional and efficient. I will definitely come back to this place whenever I’m in Philly!

I came in for the men’s back and shoulder wax. Place was well kept, people were nice and prices more than fair. The wax was quick and virtually painless. I was very pleased with the initial results of the wax all the hairs were pulled well.I had an unfortunate bad reaction to the treatment that left me covered in in-grown hairs. The reason for this is unsure as this only the 2nd wax ever. I had originally filed a complaint about this, I was very unpleased with the look.The owner called me personally and explained all the reasons this may have happened and why a wax might not fit my body type. Could have been from the excessive heat/sweating that day or improper prep/maintenance on my part. Anyway, he met with me personally, gave me a complimentary product to help solve my issue and went over options/directions for the future to improve results.Very impressed with how the experience was in general and the follow-up by the owner. Just unfortunate about the bad reaction. Would return and recommend.

My experience here wasn’t the best. To start off, from the moment I entered I felt rushed. I was never asked about my skin concerns, products I use, or skin goals I may have. After the facial I asked the owner about the products that were used on my face and he asked me “why I was asking”. The facial itself was just ok, definitely not worth the money and would not come back or recommend this spa to anyone. In the future I will go back to J A’s or Skinhouse, both very experienced with super helpful staff.

I had a whole body deep tissue massage with Val, and it was the best experience I’ve ever had. He helped my nerve pain in my hips better than any orthopedic doctor or physical therapist ever has, and the smile on my face after the appointment was a reflection of how great I felt. I went to get a Facial with Lynn last week and I loved it, I even got a 60 minute massage from her after my Facial. Lynn made my back feel so much better, my back hurt so much she basically healed it up. Lynn did an amazing job, I don’t even have the words to describe how well she did. Wow!!!! I was like beauty drunk after my facial. The beds they use are memory foam and the amount of massage I received for just a facial from Chris/Kris(?) was absolutely amazing. About ten years ago, I had an absolutely awful experience at a spa (not this one!!!!) in which I was fat-shamed and mocked until I fled in tears. Ever since then, I am extremely anxious when going to a new location for any type of personal care service because I never want to be put in that situation again. Though anxious, I have wanted microdermabrasion for awhile now, and have read a lot of great reviews about this particular place. So I booked.Can I just say, it was incredible. The Skincare Lounge is the most beautiful, serene, clean, fragrant place I have ever been, and everyone was so nice and professional. I didnt once feel uncomfortable. In fact, there were times where I was so blissfully comfortable that I am pretty sure I dozed off on the table. Anika was amazing, she talked me through the whole process and worked literal magic on my 40-year-old, sun-damaged face. For an hour-plus, no stress existed, it was just spa music and the scent of eucalyptus and marinating in skincare. I know its too soon to see effects, as it was only yesterday, but I feel positively glowing already. Thank you all so much for your delightful service!

I had an issue with my last visit but the Salon was quick to reach out and rectify the situation to ensure I was satisfied with my service and even offered me a complimentary next wax. The excellent customer service is very much appreciated.

Skincare lounge is the best waxing parlor in Philadelphia. I have been going to Anthony since 2017 and I could say that he’s the best waxing technician ever. He is very fast and efficient and make me feel very comfortable. I wish I can give this place 10 stars.

One day I randomly searched online for a masseur with immediate availability and luck had it that it happened to be here, and ended up with Val. Val is - hands down - the best masseur I have ever had the pleasure to have sessions with in Philly. He’s my go-to guy now. His massage skills are unparalleled (he like somehow can read your body like a book), and he introduced me to cupping, which has opened up a whole new world of therapy I didn’t know existed. He’s professional, extremely polite, and very knowledgeable and interesting to talk with if you like chatting during your sessions. I hesitated to write this because I selfishly don’t want to share him - Enjoy :)Additionally I love the overall space at the spa (very clean), and really enjoy interacting with Anthony the owner there too. He runs a good friendly place and is clearly invested in making sure the clients/customers are happy.

I get my downstairs waxed and its always a quick pleasant experience. Especially if Anthony is the one doing it. Super fast. Always clean and tidy in there too.

I received my first facial at Skincare Lounge Spa done by Clover. The spa itself is beautiful, complete with mood lighting, beautiful decor, and has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Clover made sure to listen to my skin concerns, and addressed each one. He went out of his way to explain each product he was using, and how each product would target my specific skin concerns. He was extremely pleasant during the entire facial. The music he was playing was beautiful. The facial massage almost put me to sleep, in a good way. When he got to the extractions he was very gentle but efficient. I took before and after pictures and the difference in the size of my pores before and after the facial/extractions was astronomical. I said to myself afterwards, pores? Where? I came out with a brilliant glow and feeling on top of the world. Thank you for the amazing service, Clover.

All COVID protocols were in place, the Spa smells good and the facial i received was over the top . What i loved the most was the LED light therapy that really helped with my mask-ne ( Acne breakouts for wearing masks ). Highly recommended.

I regularly get massages (monthly) and I have to say, my massage with Val was the best I’ve ever had! The whole staff was accommodating even though I was running late due to traffic. I rushed filling in my paperwork to be respectful of everyone’s time but somehow Val knew exactly where my problem areas were (neck and upper back where I hold my tension) without telling him, and worked it all out. The location is super convenient with a paid parking lot across the street on the corner, just a few doors up from their location. From walking in the building, to entering the spa on the 3rd floor everything was aesthetically pleasing. The rooms are private, accommodating (hooks, cubbies, and a mirror which I loved), updated, tranquil, and the lighting is the most soothing I’ve experienced. The best part is that the menu is diverse and extremely affordable. I will definitely be returning and am looking forward to exploring their menu!

My boyfriend got me a gift card to this spa for a deep tissue massage. The first time I went, I had Justin who was great with what he did, however he missed some crucial parts of my body with the massage. I wasnt going to complain, but when the director asked how my massage was afterwards, I expressed my disappointment and told him that Justin completely missed my legs. The director was so accommodating and offered a complimentary massage to make up for it. I then had Val who was AMAZING. I get massages once a month and he was easily one of the best. 10/10 would recommend Val and this spa in general. They are the best.

Scheduling: The website is a little weird to navigate. If you book a facial it wont let you also book a massage. Its like they are on different sites. I decided to call and schedule a massage and my first facial. When I called , someone answered the phone but was with a client at the front desk and Pauline was handed the phone. Pauline told me she would schedule me for both the massage and the facial -with her. She told me I would have to do the massage first and then the facial because you shouldnt lay on your face after the facial. I received the confirmation email showing that the facial was first and the massage second. I thought, Pauline must have made an entry mistake, no issue, since she will be doing both my services she can just do the massage first.Arrival: Upon entering past the sketchy front door and dark building lobby , and going up the elevator, you enter into a place that looks opposite of what you just came in through. The front desk looks nice and welcoming, until you start noticing the chaos around you. When I arrived I noticed some tension between the staff - Pauline and other staff members, regarding a client that was waiting. I guess some confusion about whether he was checked in or not and who checked him in. It was rather uncomfortable and not relaxing at all for a spa. I know I came on a holiday weekend, but a spa should not be so overbooked to feel chaotic. Also, it seems that they do not have a front desk receptionist and just use the staff when they are in between clients to check people in and out. They should hire someone for the front desk so it doesnt feel chaotic with people coming in and out to the front desk.I was given paperwork and sat down to fill out.Facial: I waited a few minutes and was taken into a room for my facial. It wasnt Pauline and I asked her if it was ok for me to do the facial first, since I was told that I shouldnt lay on my face, and the massage should go first. She said yes its fine since they use a cover on the massage bed, she didnt address the fact that I would still be laying on my face, seemed she was just trying to brush me off. I decided I was here to relax, she seemed friendly enough, and I was going to go with the flow and just enjoy my facial. Although throughout the facial I kept thinking about the scheduling errors and hoping that it would get better. The facial itself was awesome and she was very informative. I did a hydrodermabrasion and she explained every step of the way. I finished with the facial and was told she would take me to the locker room so that I can leave my clothes.Nevermind, the locker room is full and I need to wait until its available. Ok no issue. I wait in the room for what I think is 15 minutes ... Then I am taken to the locker room and put my stuff in the locker (with no key). I am getting annoyed because everywhere they say be on time or we will deduct time from your services , but here I was on time, and they were running late.Massage: I am thinking ok no issue at least Ill get a massage with Pauline! Who I have read so many great reviews about her services. Nope. I am given to someone else. I dont like that no one ever addressed that I was scheduled with Pauline and never had services with her. No one communicated the scheduling error, but I could tell they knew about it, just a sense of how they acted around me.Anyways at this point I was just annoyed and thinking about how they were only going to get two stars for how horrible the customer service is. But then the massage started and at first Im still upset so Im not enjoying it but eventually the awesome masseuse does her thing and I start getting relaxed - finally! I think I even fell asleep.TL; DR: Customer service bad, services good. Will I come again? No, but I do not live in the area. I would not go out of my way to come here.

We are running late so lets get a move-onIf this were a bowling alley, or a barber, this would be 4 stars. For a place of self care, and relaxation, the abrasive attitude, I could do without.If you dont care about the countenance, or attitude of the people that render services, and only care about the quality of the service itself, then ignore this review...If youre the type who is never late for anything, and has no trouble finding businesses labeled with thin calligraphy-writing on a rainy day...Or if you are the type that just thinks that being late to anything is grounds for mistreatment (I respect that opinion, but dont share it), then ignore this review.Ill close with this though, if someone is late, for a procedure that doesnt involve any insurance processing, ESPECIALLY at a spa or place of relaxation, where people tend to be late....you should have a plan/policy. .. Ask me to wait 20-30 minutes while you work with someone else.(Though at my time of scheduling, there were openings both BEFORE and AFTER my appointment for hours...)Or simply explain that youll want to move quickly in a respectful way. Today, Pauline (my go to massage therapist) gave me the best Expert Custom Massage with Himalayan Salt Stone. This combination is the best massage I’ve ever had. The Himalayan Salt Stone made my skin so soft and glowing. I left the spa feeling so much better no more back and leg pain!

This was my first experience with Skincare Lounge in Center City and to say the least, it was great service and worth the prices! Val was great to work with and understood to avoid the ticklish areas. I love massages so this was a very peaceful experience and left me in total relaxation. Did not want to leave!

The spa is very clean unlike the other chained spa. I had 2 hours deep tissue massage with foot and hand scrub plus aromatherapy. Justin is the best massage therapist. The way he gives you a massage is very unique and relaxing without feeling hurt at all. Also, the staff at skincare lounge spa are so kind and very helpful with explaining all their skincare products. Overall experience is excellent in affordable price. I will coming back in two weeks for the same service.

My stay didnt start off wonderful when the reservation system allowed us to overbook treatments. Technology issues aside, the staff went out of their way to make our day extra special. They offered champagne, fruit and chocolates and helped us celebrate a wonderful Valentines Day with total relaxation. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend!! Paula and the director went completely out of their way to make sure I felt welcomed for my first time as well as being serviced extremely well. I have to say I been to so many spas around the city. There is nothing like this place. Without a doubt they deserve 5 stars, a wonderful compliment and continued membership. Honestly, I wasnt expecting much upon arrival, but walking immediately I felt in a good mood. The waiting room is relaxing with drinks and snacks while you wait, and the staff is incredibly nice.Now to my treatment. I had a deep cleansing and hydrating facial with Antony. It is probably the best facial I have ever received. He was very knowledgeable and focused on my problems. We discussed my issues and addressed it with products that he recommended and even suggested how to change my regimen at home to optimize my skin health. I am excited to return in a few weeks after trying their suggestions.This facial treatment was not focused on the products you can sell, as I have found before, but really on how to improve my skin. I was very surprised by what a treatment did. My face feels clean and smooth! They also have great specials, so Ill definitely be back.

I was initially introduced to Skincare Lounge Spa by a friend and after my first massage with Val, I knew I would be a long term client. My muscles are always sore from working out, and Val not only is amazing with massage, but also at explaining certain things about muscles and the body. I recently went for the Neuromassage and I highly recommend! The atmosphere is very zen and the facility is clean.

I love Anthony! He provides excellent service and is always a delight to be around, it’s almost like you’re going to see a friend. I love the ambience of the spa. The reception area plays calming music as well as the service rooms. There are beverages such as tea, coffee, and water. I suggest anyone who hasn’t been to check it out! An amazing place with great massage therapist (Justin)! I recently had a lumbar fusion and a double fusion in my neck. In order to have the best outcome possible after surgery I did some research and opted to incorporate massage as part of my recovery. After looking into several therapists I picked Justin from Skincare lounge spa as the person who seemed most qualified to help someone with my specific needs. Justin is very knowledgeable in the anatomy and structure of the spine and surrounding muscles and ligaments. His ability to rehabilitate post surgical and other patients with specific medical needs is one of the reasons I am recovering so well. I am just over 4 months post op from my lumbar surgery and just over 2 months post op from the cervical fusions. Since seeing Justin my mobility has increased far beyond what I or my surgeon anticipated and I feel so much better since starting therapy. I highly recommend that anyone seeking relief from back or neck pain make an appointment for a consultation and massage with Justin.

My face looks so much younger since I have visited this place! I have tried other spas and they lack in quality. Justin did my massage and facial and he is fabulous! I got my first facial and my skin feels wonderful! I’ll definitely be visiting a second time. I felt like the pricing was also in line with the service!

I received a massage and it was the worst one I’ve ever gotten. When I called a few weeks prior I asked if I could choose my pressure and they said yes and they wanted to charge my card a week out so I didn’t book the appointment.Then I called on a Thursday and booked my appointment for Saturday and wasn’t told I needed my card charged. When I was there I was told this wasn’t the pressure my massage came with. Clearly lack of communication to whoever was at the front desk and the massage therapist. It literally felt like my skin was just being touched and that’s it. The person who also did my massage spoke the entire time so I couldn’t even relax. I wanted to relax and destress. They were really nice but it was nothing like I want and I spent a lot of money for it. Really disappointed.

Came here for Post Op care! The lymphatic drainage massages needed after liposuction they offer here and are the absolute best. My massages are PAIN FREE! I enjoy it everytime I come here they are absolutely amazing I highly recommend coming here for post op care for your drainage massages.

This is a great spa! I had a massage and facial done recently and really enjoyed it. My therapist Justin listened to exactly what I said my issues were, and then worked on those. I am not one that needs the full body massage, but prefers to have someone target specifics. The atmosphere is very relaxing and Justin was able to work out any tensions and soreness in my hips and neck. He does a wonderful massage and I highly recommend him. Val gives the most relaxing massages! He makes you feel so comfortable and at peace, making sure you have the best experience possible. He was extremely attentive and professional, as well as thorough when massaging the tense muscles. He helped to get rid of all the tenseness and I feel so much better!! Highly recommend

Probably the most relaxing massage I have had. Val knew exactly what I needed and asked me all the right questions prior to the massage. The spa was also very pleasant. I high recommend it.

My usual spa is not doing facials temporarily due to COVID, and I had a breakdown after 4 months and decided to give this place a try. It had alot of good reviews and the pictures online were nice, and it is literally 2 minutes from my usual place so I told myself why not. I am not going to post all of my observations here, but I will simply say the experience did not compare to my usual spot, and I will most likely wait for them to resume full service before getting another facial.

First time here, I got a wax and Cecelia was wonderful! Such a nice lady, and she’s super professional. Definitely going to come back!

I love this place. I had massages in many places and Skincare Lounge SPA is one of my favored. Today it was my third time, Justin treated one of my shoulder injuries and now I feel much better. I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommended.

I have had a cryo facial, and I get my Brazilian wax done monthly and every week I go to Paula for my lipo treatments she is awesome and I started seeing results after my second appointment. I love the whole staff so nice and welcoming and the service is awesome all the time.

Highly Recommended!!!!! Val is a great therapist. I had a cupping session done by him it was my first time getting it done a little hesitant at first but after it was done I felt like all the soreness was relaxed and my muscles weren’t so tight anymore. Ive been going to Anthony for quite a while now... He was recommended to me by a co-worker about 1-2 years ago. Ive never gotten a Brazilian wax or underarms wax at all prior to him. When I made my first appointment with Anthony, I was very nervous and uncomfortable. Once I got there, he made both feelings disappear. He was very friendly, professional and quick. Hes such a sweet person! I dont live in Philly but I sure as hell take a 30 minutes commute just to go to him for my waxing needs. Cannot beat the price, atmosphere and professionalism.

I had illumnnious microdermabrasion with LED light by Paula and I was very satisfied! My skin looked very clear and bright after and I loved every second of it. I will 100% be back for it again, at least once a month !!
