Shawn did a hair cut and Balayage for my 17 year old daughter who has damaged her hair from dyeing experimentation. Shawn did an excellent job getting her hair back to a more natural and much healthier look. She also gave her tips for caring for her hair. Shawn at Bastian Salon 2 is highly recommended, very professional and truly knows her craft.

This is probably the best salon I have ever been going to! (Ive been going to this salon for 3 years.) Shawn is a great artist with hair. I love the way she cuts and styles my hair. And by far, she is a fantastic colorist! But aside from her great skills, she is a kind, compassionate and caring person! After flitting around for years at different salons, I finally found a place....also in the neighborhood... where I feel comfortable for very reasonable prices!

I started going to Bastian Salon about 5 years ago when I purchased a Groupon deal for them. The salon is located in lovely Park Ridge on a main street and has easy and free street parking. Shawn, the owner has been cutting, perming, highlighting my hair these past few years and I could not be happier with her. It is easy to make appointments; I usually text her and she responds right away. She always listens to what I would like and with her professionalism she gives me great cuts each and every time. She takes her time and does not rush me out the door. She is easy to talk to and always makes me feel comfortable. The salon is welcoming and cute. Since I started going to her I have not gone anywhere else unless I needed something done while overseas. I highly recommend her.

Mom went here and her hair fell out the following day along with the extensions . She contacted the owner who was rude. My mom then posted on social media which went a little viral. The owner agreed to give a refund only if the post and reviews were taken down. Well it was taken down. But then I was threatened via social media from the owners friend or family who threatened my past or present military affiliation. How are you going to threaten me when I’m helping keep you free to run a business..... done even bother with this place .
