Not only did Todd save my hair from an awful experience somewhere else, he listened to what happened and immediately got to work to correct what was an awful mess of a botched color when I walked in. So, there was a little snafu with my appointment for eyebrow and lip waxing. Brittany noticed I was still waiting and took me in right away so I wouldnt have to wait for the other girl to finish with her client. Brittany did a wonderful job and was super friendly! She is one of the hair stylists so definitely ask for her if you are looking for a great cut!

Ive been coming to Indira Salon for a while now. The Park Ridge location is wonderful - its spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Ive been coming here before the pandemic and just visited again. They follow all of the proper Infection Prevention guidelines to keep everyone safe. I only trust my hair to Todd. He is amazing, professional, and SKILLED! I have Asian hair. He took me all the way to a cool blonde, brought my hair back to its darker roots, etc. Todd listens to what you want and can executive. He will also give you his professional assessment if he thinks something may not work for your hair. Truly an expert. The rest of the staff are professional and great to interact with as well. Its an all around win. Highly recommend this place!

My hair looked so sad and was in desperate need of attention, especially with summer upon us.First of all, Tracey did an excellent job guiding me thru what I needed in order to make the appointment. She let me know what processes would be best for the results I wanted and communicated so promptly with me.Morgan is a miracle worker! I have never had my hair colored this significantly. I usually do highlights but I wanted a change and I finally have the results I want! I love it!60 foils and almost 4 hours in the chair achieved this effortless look; ashy blonde but not too white - still keeping my hair natural as possible. I came in for an appointment with Laura and left the salon with the greatest haircut and highlights I have ever gotten! Laura took the time to truly understand what I wanted and she delivered above and beyond. She knew exactly how to lighten, tone, and cut my dark brown and curly/wavy hair type, something that can be difficult to find. The salon was very clean and everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. I have been using some Aveda color protection products that Laura recommended and it has kept my hair looking freshly done! I will definitely be returning in the near future!

Do not recommend. I booked an appointment for a blow out and was very disappointed. I called the salon when I booked my appointment and the receptionist told me the price is $45 for a wash and style. After my appointment I was charged $70 and was not told this prior to my appointment or during my appointment. The reason for the up-charge is for thicker hair?.. which I have been to DryBar for blowouts in the past and have always been charged $45. I never had a salon add a $25 up-charge due to this reason. This salon needs to let clients know their accurate pricing. The stylist rushed my blow out and parts of my hair were still damp. Very disappointing experience.

I havent been to the salon often since Covid, and was coloring my hair with box color. It was so nice to be able to get my hair professionally done again finally. I wasnt made to feel bad because I was coloring my hair myself (which has happened in the past with other places.) I absolutely love my hair after Morgan colored and cut my hair!!! I regularly get facials here. Candy is the best. She tailors the facial to my skin. Morgan is great for haircuts. I’m also obsessed with all the Aveda products.

I came in for a haircut and a color service with Laura and loved my new look. She guided me through realistic options to transition back to my natural salt and pepper hair after decades of dying my hair. She was very professional and knowledgeable about Aveda products and introduced me to my new favorite combo botanical repair and blonde revival purple shampoo. I highly recommend this place, staff and stylist were very welcoming and very cautious following Covid protocols. I’ll definitely visit the salon next time I’m in town.

Staff is respectful and friendly. You’d get a great, attentive cut from Morgan, who does mine, which is a bit textured. She does a great, neat job with the haircut and with my beard for sure.

I went in for my hair color. They burned my scalp. They talk bad behind there customers, makes fun of them. I will never recommend anyone to visit this place. Customer service is at it’s worth. Thank god I didn’t go for my facial, if not they would burn my skin.

My normal stylist left the company and I finally went in to see a new person. I left the salon thinking I would like what I got for a color and it would grow on my, that did not happen. Reaching out to the salon the only resolution they had was to come back in to either their park ridge location or their southport - way too far.In the mean time I want to another salon for a consultation to find out that my hair was over processed and over bleached and would have to wait to have it colored again :(Armed with the new knowledge I reached out to the salon again asking for my money back as I would not trust them with my hair and did not want to further damage my hair. Once again they only offered to correct the problem, which with damaged hair is not an option.Below you will see what I showed the stylist vs what I got and you will see it is a far stretch.***UPDATE*** This photo was taken same day of service. I requested a bayalage (specifically requesting some who can do it when booking) and showed them the 2nd picture.I went to another Aveda salon to have toner put on to tone down the yellow and that toner not only took but lasted several months to give my hair a break. What Indiras response about the toner is incorrect.During my consultation at the new salon they told me, to achieve the look I wanted low lights need to be put in and not just straight bleach. ****

Really great experience at Indira. My partial highlight service was scheduled with Morgan and she was amazing! As a natural blonde looking for more brightness/lightness in my hair, she made it happen. She was super kind and explained everything. Highly recommend!

Always a great experience here and I refuse to get my hair done anywhere else. Ask for Rianna she is extremely talented and is outstanding at cuts, styling, and coloring.

The prices are REDICULOUS and the owner is very inflexible and unrealistic! They ask you to wash your own hair before coming to the salon and do not give the full service they did before COVID including their relaxing tea, hand massage with hair wash and washing your hair. TO CHARGE THE SAME PRICE FOR LESS SERVICE IS NOT A GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE!

I, Joyce Canavino, have had several of the most luxurious facials ever at the Park Ridge Indira Salon Spa. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable, and it is usually easy to get an appointment. The facial was relaxing and beneficial. I was given a lot of information about products to use, but they didnt try to sell me anything. One of these facials was a Christmas gift and was greatly appreciated. I cant wait for my next service there.

I have been going to INDIRA Salon Spa for quite some time. Their esthetician, Amanda is the best! She is very zen which makes the facial even more relaxing and she is fantastic at grooming eyebrows as well. Regular appointments with her have left my skin glowing and healthy. I highly recommend her to everyone.

Got a blow-out. It was good, but not great. However Ill be back. While not the typical in-and-out place, leave yourself a bit of time and take advantage of all the adds on of an Aveda salon. Warm head towel, hand massage, etc.Tons of products, cool spot, ample parking, and truly nice staff.

Bridgett is great! Purchased $39 Elemental facial but went up to more than $100 because of add ons and its OKAY! I was told if I refer someone I will get $20 off next purchase. Referred hubby spent less than $100. Was scheduled for another facial but waiting for referral incentive which never arrived. Called just to get a rude receptionist who reported me to the salon owner. What a joke and a childish thing to do. The worst part the owner got involved! Instead of calling me back for an apology called another person to complain me, the customer! I dont need this, and absolutely you dont need this! There are better salons out there who could render great service and quality job! Wish I didnt try their facials, my face became more drier than before!!!

Indira has friendly staff. The young woman who cut my hair did a great job. My only complaint is that when I phoned to make the reservation, I was told that my stylist did perms as well as cuts and styling. When I met her in person she told me she does not do perms. They need to update their database.

Indira Salon & Spa is lovely and smells wonderful with all the Aveda products. Ive had color, cuts, facials, massages, and pedicures over the years and theyve all been excellent! I love their point system too as Ive gotten free services through it!

Arta is the. best.Her facials are like no other. The Aveda products are pampering but Artas technique is what keeps me coming back (1-2x a month!). My face feels revived! She spends time around the eye area, and works out my puffy eyes, feels amazing. Truly is a deep massage for the face with her many techniques, from neck to forehead, releasing tension and fatigue.

I transferred from the Southport location to Park Ridge when my daughter moved. The receptionist at the front desk was quite welcoming, with a great sense of humor. My daughter asked for product advice while I was treated to the Aveda sensory ritual, shampoo and trim. The receptionist was extremely helpful, balancing her front desk duties with assisting my daughter. Todd, the stylist, is friendly & a great listener who offers doable options for my hair. Love this salon ! I live in Washington DC and my daughter lives in Park Ridge so I am a frequent client. The entire experience is fantastic ! I particularly like that they play soft, relaxing music while pampering you with the best shampoo followed by hand massage ! The have current magazines, too ! Talube is a great !

The Indira Salon in River North has a relaxed environment, large space, friendly staff, parking is always available and Collin, one of the stylists, is a gem! He is knowledgeable, professional, and very accommodating.
