For the fact that I was late to my appointment and they understood how important it was that I needed to be seen, they still allowed me to see my Doctor instead of rescheduling, praise God.

Dr.Goyal is a great Doctor. I have been his patient for a long time and it was a rough road. It took some time and alot of great care from Dr.Goyal. I feel he went above and beyond for me,he Genuinely cares from his heart. And we finally figured things out and a good treatment plan for my Chronic Auto immune pancreatitis. I had a mass that other doctors wanted to cut out. But I trusted in the Lord and Dr. Goyal now everything is much better. I want to thank God and you Dr.Goyal for caring for me so much. You are the best! Thank you so so much!

Twice Dr Goyal or staff entered wrong lab code. Second time office staff wouldnt even tell him and no attempt was made to correct. My dad now has to pay $200.00 dollars out of pocket. Im disappointed and sad for my dad.

Any one that ask me about a Gastro I say go to Dr Goyal. After being treated for 4 years with different Gastro’s. Dr Goyal saved my life he took care of a cyst in my pancreas that all the other Dr kept observing. Dr Goyal did a biopsy and as he suspected i needed major surgery. The surgeon told my husband if we wouldn’t of waited a little longer I would not be able to have the surgery since the cyst was wrapping in the main artery. Thank to Dr Goyal got his rapid care and actions I’m here today.

I cannot, under any circumstances, recommend that someone go to Dr. Goyals GastroHealth office at the Sandlake location.A series of miscommunications on the part of the office staff, misread lab reports, inexperience, and poor bed side manner led to the worst experiences I have EVER had at a doctors office. He suggested, incorrectly, that I may have cancer on two occasions, scaring me for no reason and still never diagnosing me.I have gotten a second opinion from a new doctor who indicated that while Dr. Goyal had ordered all the right tests, he disagreed with how Dr. Goyal read them. He needlessly scared me and caused me to go months without a diagnosis. This new doctor looked at the test results, ordered a little bit more blood work, and diagnosed me within an hour.Some details of the worst experience ever:1. When I got a colonoscopy, I was told to call the office if I threw up the colonoscopy prep. I called 5 hours before my colonoscopy, encountered a rude answering service who said there was no doctor by that name. I called back at opening time, but couldnt get through. I left a message on GastroHealths machine. No one ever called me back, so when I was driven to the colonoscopy, I wasnt even sure if Id be able to have it.2. When I got my endoscopy, Dr. Goyal discovered a hernia. Dr. Goyal failed to take a picture of the hernia in my lab paperwork. He also failed to explain any side effects for taking the medication long-term.3. When I got the results of my colonoscopy, Dr. Goyal was 40+ minutes late for my appointment. He didnt even sit down. He said he had never seen results like these in his career and said it might be lymphoma. I was distraught and asked what else it could be. He failed to elaborate or give me any answers.4. His office told me they would contact me regarding a follow-up test to determine if I had cancer. Around six days later, I called them to ask about the test. They said they dont schedule tests like that, and I had to schedule it myself. This delayed me getting a CT scan by over a week, and again, this was a test to determine if I had CANCER.5. The CT scan determined I did not have cancer. It did show a small lung cyst, which the CT report suggested wasnt serious at all unless I had respiratory symptoms. In a follow-up appointment, Dr. Goyal again suggested I might need to see an oncologist. (He also referred me to a lung doctor who Ill see next week.)6. He suggested a series of follow-up tests. I asked what he was looking for, and he said he didnt know and wasnt sure - which was perhaps the least reassuring thing a doctor has ever said to me. I asked how to schedule those tests. His nurse said the office would call me. This was several weeks ago and Ive never been called.I have never been more scared from doctors appointments, less reassured, and less helped.

There was very little wait time in the waiting room and the wait in the examination room was not long. Dr. Deepinder Goyal also made recommendations that were medically sound, but were also going to save me money instead of lining his pockets.

When it comes to communicating with his patients, Doctor Goyal excels at this.
