Where do I begin - working with this group has been an absolute NIGHTMARE. I have had a physical scheduled for a year. They sent me a message today saying to call and reschedule with a new provider - so I did.I sat on hold for 15 minutes only to be met with a receptionist that took my information, put me on hold, and hung up on me without calling back!! I called the office again and made it very clear I would like someone to return my call if I was hung up on again. The new receptionist then proceeded to help me schedule a new physical appointment. My original appointment was scheduled for mid November and she stated there was nothing available until the last week of December (as I stated, I made this appointment last November). It is critical that I have an appointment prior to December because my health insurance will be changing - which I made very clear on the phone and the receptionist stated unfortunately, there is nothing we can do. My father graciously stepped up to give me his appointment for a physical with the same group in November. He spoke with the recpetionist on the phone and so did I. He said verbatim I will give up my appointment only if it is going to my daughter. This was acknowledged. The receptionist cancelled his appointment and then said to meOh, I am sorry...they double booked that appointment time so even though his appointment is cancelled there is no availability for you.GREAT. So you cancelled his appointment, did not give me the appointment, and now we are both left with nothing. I am beyond livid. Seems as if they could not care less about the situation. I would not recommend them to anyone!!!!! RUN FROM THIS MEDICAL PRACTICE. You will save yourself a lot of misery and headaches. What a joke.

I like the service in general. Dr. Rojas is an excellent professional and very attentive to the patient. always punctual and very respectful.

I will definitely not continue using this facility for my medical care. During my last visit Dr. Rojas Roldán was extremely rude, and practically left the room while I was still voicing my concerns about my medical condition. While I understand they have a set schedule to see patients, it is unacceptable this doctor didn’t show professionalism and care as a health care provider. I was using the facility for the proximity to my residence but I will not return. If you are looking to use this medical facility, do yourself a favor.. Do not waste your time, you will be very disappointed.

Horrible horrible horrible practice. They cancelled my appointment 2 times & when I called to rescheduled they told me it’s a 6 months wait list for new patient appointment.

Booking my appointment for today’s visit with this practice was super easy! I got on my AdventHealth app, chose my physician (the amazing Dr. DeAza), chose the date & time and voila, I was in! Even when I had a date conflict on their end, they immediately called me and I rebooked a different date on the app per their guidance.My appointment today was on time, with no wait and pre-register/co-pay all done online, in the comfort and safety of my own home. They also had me check in online, was able to wait in my car, then was notified when my doctor was ready for me.Dr. DeAza is a true gem and was informative, kind and most of all, caring- addressing my questions/concerns and informed me of everything we would do at my appointment + gave the appropriate screenings & labs for my age group. Highly recommend her & this practice location!

It has been over a month and I still have not been able to get in contact with them. No one answers the phone and their patient portal does not work. Unprofessional and worst customer service.

I called them to make an appointment for my mom and first thing that I asked was if they take my moms insurance. They told me that they did, and then they took all the insurance information and I even waited for a few minutes while “she processed everything” and then the lady told me that based on my moms insurance all her x-rays was going to be around $20 or less. The day of her appointment they she brought her insurance and paper work and they STILL SAID “we have already everything on the system including your insurance”. 2 weeks after, I get a letter charging me $300 saying that they are not contracted with her insurance. WHAT IN THE WORLD? Now it is no ones fault

The Lake Nona location is conveniently located, the staff is knowledgeable and everything you need is in one building. I love having my primary care physician, any specialists I may need and the lab and imaging all together.

Extremely disappointed, pathetic excuse for a medical practice. I arrived at 9:28 AM for my 9:15 AM scheduled appointment with Dr. De Aza. Upon arrival I was told there is a 10 minute window for appointments and it’s already 9:30 (it was 9:28) so they’ll have to check to see if the doctor can still see me (side note: I had to wait 30 minutes to an hour to be seen on my previous two visits here). I had waited a week for this appointment to get new medication for a condition I have and needed my doctor’s help as soon as possible. My eyes were already starting to fill up at the thought of having to wait another week, even another day for treatment. After waiting 5 more minutes the receptionist looked at me with no emotion, empathy, or sincerity and said I’d have to reschedule. I needed medical attention TODAY, this wasn’t something I could just reschedule. So now I won’t be able to get the treatment I need because the Florida Hospital Medical Group - Health Park, Lake Nona doesn’t care about its clients. They demand punctuality and respect, but don’t give you any. If you want to be denied treatment, shown zero kindness, and be treated like a number, this place is for you! It’s evident that their main priority is to see as many people as possible as quickly as possible, disregarding the patients’ needs so they can make more money.This would be laughable if it wasn’t so painful.Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

The best way I can describe a visit here is by comparing it to taking your car to a shady mechanic. Every visit there’s one or more referral - almost always to someone under the same roof, who conveniently can see you immediately. Multiple times I asked for a referral to someone not affiliated with Advent Health - crickets. Watch out if you follow the referrals, they overcharge for routine tests. Decline to follow the referrals and they’ll stop writing prescriptions, or offer you higher cost alternatives.I’m not a skeptic by nature, but when certain patterns repeat themselves over a long period of time, it becomes more and more difficult to ignore the evidence. While I have no doubt that some of the medical advice I was given was solid, I am no longer fully confident that this healthcare provider is as ethical as I need them to be.I really hope I’m wrong on this, but I’ve decided to follow my instinct and look elsewhere.

Awful awful practice. They will not refill any prescription unless you schedule and pay for an another full-price office visit. There is no purpose for this other than greed.

Love the Dr but the rudest lady in Billing made it clear that I am to keep my mouth shut when on an anual check up because if I answer the Doctors questions I will be charged for two visits.

We went there for a dermatology appointment. The facility was new, clean, and staff was courteous.Best of all, the dermatologist knew exactly what was wrong, and prescribed medicine that cured the issue that no other place was able to do. Weve been to other clinics, allergist, and this was the only place with correct diagnose. I highly recommend this facility.

I requested for an appointment two week ago and still no response, called them multiple time, says not available, customer service is awful

Horrible patient service and care. Came to this practice as a new patient and to receive an annual check up and Dr. De Aza was extremely rude saying both things couldn’t be done at the same time. To my knowledge, I did not know. I was trying to establish care as a new patient since I recently moved from a different state. As I was trying to tell her my history, she said I either needed to write it down on paper because she didn’t have time as she already needed to see another patient. When I go to see a doctor, I expect them to be kind and be able to take their time to talk and get to atleast know your history. This is patient care; there is no reason why I needed to know that she had to go see another patient already. She was hurrying up her exam and our conversation. Horrible patient care, I felt rushed. As she left, I was told I was going to receive a bill because I had concerns and that she had addressed them. I will not be going back or paying this bill.

Their staff is great. Extremely helpful and courteous. Definitely recommend it.

Dr. De Aza is my primary doctor. She is thorough, listens carefully and takes her time during exams. I highly recommend this Doctor and the facility.

This place is awful! I scheduled a new patient visit and physical. Apparently the scheduler didn’t schedule the physical. So what was I there for? I filled out paperwork and spent 2 minutes answering the dr questions. Then they bill my insurance for a sick visit. I wasn’t sick and didn’t go there due to being sick. What kind of unethical billing is this place practicing? And yet they keep trying to convince me that my appt was worth the copay. I got nothing out of that appointment. They do not deserve to get paid for that nonsense. Absolutely ridiculous!!

I am writing to complain about the services I am not receiving from the facility located at LAKE NONA - Gateway - Lab Care.Here is my experience working with this location.I relocated here in January of 2018. Being a new patient, I chose this clinic for proximity of my house location. So I went for my yearly medical and the doctor ordered some blood work to be done. I also have a condition that requires to have my INR measured at least on a monthly basis.On my first visit at the lab, they couldnt find my lab request form. (I need to say also that the doctors office is located only one floor down from your lab.So I had to come back another day to get the test done.After another visit with a specialist, which recommended several blood sample to be done, I went back to the same lab to have it done. At the same time, I had another visit with a different specialist. They too requested additional blood work to be done.On my first visit, she did not have the test request. On the second visit then they appeared... But I had to turn around because she needed more time to figure what type of work needed to be done. On the third visit I finally was able to get the tests done.On that visit, the nurse told me it was too much blood to be drawn at the same time and recommended I came back to get the rest of it done.So 2 weeks later, I go back to get an IRN test done and the remaining blood work done at the same time.Guess what?She couldnt find any of my test requests! After looking in 3 different location, she finally found a standing order, but only for my INR. All of the other test request have just vanished! So I have to turn around and now I also have to call my doctor to have this request to be sent again (but this time to a different lab) and waste more time to finally get the lab work done!I certainly hope I have an outstanding bill at this facility! For which by the way I have yet not received any bill for! But you can be sure it wont be paid until someone can pull their head out of their ass and find my lab request.Ill keep looking for other places where I can post the same complaint so other customers will discover how pitiful this service really is!

Im very frustrated with my last experience in this place. Im a current patient from the doctor office de Aza. Last Tuesday I went at 7:15 am because I couldnt breath enough , their answer was we just have an available appointment until 9:45am. Your doctor cant see you. I ask for another doctor and the nursey comes to me and say: you must to go to the Hospital, maybe you have some thing in your breast that can kill you..... what????? Is this possible. You are my primary doctor just givr me a first AID and if I am not Better, transfer me to the Hospital.. they didnt want to aceept me because i did not have an appointment. Itbis incredible and unacceptable. Is the worst service. That I have experience in Lake Nona

Had 8:00 appointment signed in saw people that signed in after me being seen 8:40 asked why I haven’t been seen they apologized that they didn’t see that I signed in and that wouldn’t be much longer sat Down and watched the turn around of people that where being seen still waiting finally fed up do to other commitmentsHad to leave ! Not happy not cool big waste of time so discussed this morning!

Imaging is by far the best in the area, but a bit disappointed with physician availability, especially for rheumatology
