Well the doctor, nurses and staff are all great I’ve been going here for years - however, they need to seriously revamp this issue about having extra people sit around waiting to drive patients home. If I’m willing to sign a release form and take a taxi or Uber home that’s nobody’s business but mine. I’m gonna post this out on the medical legal site and find out what my options are for future visits. This whole litigious society of ours is getting out of control. And please don’t just post a “canned” response – find a workable solution or I will take matters in my own hands and find another place to go it doesn’t have these ridiculous rules!

I have been going to see Dr. Levine for the last 12 years. In this time I have often felt bedside manner was missing. But after my UC issues escalated I have had a lot of difficulty with this office. Trying to get in to see Dr. Levine takes weeks and this is forever when you are not in remission from your disease. I have begun seeing his nurse but find her schedule is not much better. The office has no empathy and yesterday they sent an elderly man away who came in to make an appointment in person. The receptionist gave him a card and told him he had to call. It was so sad to watch. I often feel rushed, questions not answered, I feel as though I am not always believed when I discuss symptoms. I had continued to see Levine because I do believe he knows his field but my impression is that he has been doing it so long that he has become numb to people and what they go through.

Rachel, and the team of Harry Levine has given me a 5 star service, easy directory, staff promptly answers extensions, conducting an overall satisfactory business, handling my every insurance need. Just left the facility having a colonoscopy... Bedside manor lol not even close... After a brief 10 seconds explanation of what he found he turned around told me to have a nice life as he walked away dont need to come back for 5 years... Dont worry sir I will never be back to see you...The nurse Anesthesiologist who worked with him doing the procedure was cold and uncarrying.... On a positive note, the nurse who started my IV and the discharged nurse Carol, were both very nice and informative... Well not go back to this doctor or recommend him to anybody..

I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. He has a horrible bedside manner, very dismissive and condescending tone and did not listen to my concerns.

This was my first visit. Dr Levine was wonderful! Knowledgeable, kind and he took his time to explain things. The office staff was very nice as well. I am so happy to have found a doctor that seems to genuinely care about his patients.

Both good and bad. The stars are for Dr. Levine, and the others are blank because of the ridiculously long wait times for appointments at the Mills Ave. office. Dr. Levine is wonderful, which is why I endure sitting in the waiting room to be called an hour after my scheduled appointment. He is very down to earth and no-nonsense, and explains what you need to know clearly and concisely. In his own sometimes grumpy way, he is very caring toward his patients. I have great respect for him. However, every time Ive been there for an office visit, Ive had to wait way past my scheduled appointment time. The last time (last week) I waited for an hour and 5 minutes. Im always prompt, which makes this issue even more infuriating. Patients time is valuable too--some people have jobs that pay by the hour so they lose wages, or they may have to pay for child care, or take public transportation. Some are disabled and have to find someone who has the time to accompany them.No one deserves this disrespect. The office needs to clean up its act and stop double- or triple-scheduling people, or whatever theyre doing to cause this problem.

A very knowledgable and caring gastrologist especially about Crohns and ulcerative colitis.

I have been a patient with Dr Levine for almost twenty years. He is a wonderful ,caring physician in my opinion. My only complaint is the ridiculously long wait time for an appointment .when you are in pain it is difficult to wait three weeks or more for help.The five stars are for Dr Levine and his office staff but they need to look at scheduling.

I have only been going to this office for a little over a year. I didn’t have a good experience from the beginning. Not only did Dr Levine not review my history from my previous retired GI neither did the PA when I saw her. ( she didn’t even look at my chart before seeing me) I feel like I was just one of 100 patients seen on any of my visits. My recent 6 mo visit was to refill medication and routine 6 mo check up. Dr Levine did not even as much address any of my GI concerns and referred me to a neurologist to take care of my other issues. I will be searching for a new GI at this point

Dr Levine is very thorough and cares more than any Dr I have seen. I have so much respect and admiration for him to be honest and give his patients the facts and how to follow through with your future care and life style. Like many others my insurance no longer covers my care. I opted for self pay to continue my care with him. The staff is always there to work with me in anyway they can.

I found Dr. Levine to be very knowledgeable, educational and helpful. His staff was very friendly, response to my needs and caring.

Dr. Levine was my gastroenterologist when I had stomach cancer years ago. Now that I am back in Florida I look forward to seeing he and his staff again! So attentive and caring!

Excellent practice. Have been using Dr. Levine for nearly 7 years he is extremely thorough. He is top notch and his NP is excellent as well. They also make the surgical process as easy and stress free as possible. Highly recommend.

My husband had a recent hospitalization for a new GI diagnosis and we were given a consult to see Dr Levine once discharged. Dr Levine gave us more education in the 10 minutes he spent with us than we got during a 3 day hospital stay. Wow! My husband went and had his first annual check up( Colonoscopy). It was so hasslefree and ran like a well oil machine that after much protesting and saying I would NEVER get that done. I decided to get it done.... It just didnt look all that bad. It sounds worse than it is !My experience with Dr Levine was absolutely fantastic. Including today the day of my procedure. He is truly a magnificent caring doctor. He is so sweet and explains everything in great detail. I was in and out in 45 minutes..... And I might add --glad that I did it --since he found something- and was able to take care of it right then and there !!! They also provide you with pictures. And a medical report to take home with you --- while I was waiting for my procedure to be done and they do put you to sleep, I noticed that the staff was constantly cleaning ........Absolutely cannot say enough good things about this doctor and this establishment. Times Two- both my husband and myself at different times had a wonderful experience here. I have already referred Dr Levine to two other people just since my procedure today .... He is so caring that right before the procedure he leans over and says he gives all of his patients a quick hug. Very very thoughtful and much appreciated during this very stressful time even though it was a piece of cake !!!! Dr Levine- YOU ROCK- staff please show this to him !

Would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone! Very impersonal, close minded, impatient and did not care what was going on with my body! Did not take into consideration my lifestyle when it was very important to know for the situation I was experiencing. I explained myself and he replied are you finished interrupting me yet!!!! Find a new GI doctor.

Had a endoscopy and colonoscopy done in Clermont Florida, his staff was great and very accommodating. Dr. Levine is a straight to the point, no fussdoctor. Great doctor, great staff! - jim Colton

Clermont office- I have been waiting for over 1 hour past appointment time and still have not seen the Dr. It is unacceptable to think patients time is not important. Who will be paying the extended child care as a result of this appointment being so grossly past the time scheduled? Someone should begin proactive phone calls when you are this behind. I have had to arrange time away from my job, which is costly, and pay for childcare.

Dr. Levine is the greatest! I did not know what to expect, having waited too long for my first colonoscopy and showing scary symptoms. Dr. Levine explained everything to me and told me on my very first visit: I am not going to let you leave here until you feel better. Who says that in todays climate of overloaded appointments, etc.? Furthermore, Dr. Levine even squeezed me in for a last minute pep talk with all my stupid questions just days before my colonoscopy. As for the procedure itself, I swear it was more pleasant than getting a dental cleaning. No joke. I simply cannot thank Dr. Levine enough.

My husband, Tony Summers, has had Crohns for approximately 30 years. We recently moved to Orlando and were referred to Dr. Levine. He is a compassionate and caring doctor. I highly recommend him as an expert on Crohns. You will not find a better doctor and staff.

Just walked out of the waiting room after waiting for 1 hr past my scheduled appt time. I understand previous appts can run a little longer than expected, but the fact that nobody could take 15 secs to acknowledge me waiting for a ridiculous amount of time to be seen is beyond crazy and shows the lack of customer service at this office (main office on Mills Ave.) People walked in a half hr AFTER my scheduled time and was called back before they could even finish completing paperwork. Unacceptable! This tells me that this office/MDs are not in it for the pts, they are there to make as much money as possible by overbooking their office. Will not be back, even after such great recommendations.

Dr. Levine is the best. He take the time to explain everything and give good recommendations all the time.

Dr. Levine is an excellent physician. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I waited for over and hour and half to see doctor about my acid reflux, wheezing, and digestive issues. He spent 10 minutes just to tell me (in a horrible condescend tone) to take over the counter medicine. Pretty horrible. Never recommending this place to anyone.

He is very arrogant and rude.

Dr Levine excellence and human quality. Very knowledgeable and very zealous in the care of their patients. I thank God for doctors like my medical treatment. I think hes the best of the best in gastroenterology in Orlando Florida
