I met Dr. Sultana when I was a PhD student. I was extremely depressed, and I was about to drop off the program. I felt being a mother, a wife, and a student is too much for me. She listened to me, and she gave me several pieces advice that I cherish even today. With the right medication and therapy, I was able to feel better and perform better. I not only graduated, but also found a great job. I am a successful professional who is living with chemical imbalance. There is no shame in that. I do need medication to overcome my PTSD and be a productive member of the society, a good mother, and a good wife. And I owe it to Dr. Sultana.

You absolutely cannot prescribe antidepressants to people with bipolar disorder. This woman prescribed me Zoloft when I was 16, not for minors or for anyone with bipolar. Cannot begin to explain how terrible and uneducated Doctor Sultana is. Way to assist in messing up peoples lives.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I had an initial consultation and visit with Dr. Sultana a couple months ago and it was the worst experience with a Psychiatrist that I have ever had. She was so condescending and judgemental the way she spoke to me made me feel like an unworthy child. She kept staring at my nails and tattoos asking why I got the tattoos she made me feel so uncomfortable. Needless to say I will never see her again. maybe she needs to go back to school to learn empathy customer service skills and learn how to focus on helping people instead of judging. she made me feel like I was under a microscope and I wish I had never seen her I havent been to another mental health doctor since she scarred me.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Got sent to her office (Bayhill Psychiatric) by my PCP for an attention deficit issue. She didn’t listen to any of my concerns and only discussed my family history. She said due to my father being an alcoholic, she wanted me to go to an AA meeting and wouldn’t prescribe me any medication till after a urinalysis to show I wasn’t consuming alcohol. This was all after I told her I only have 2-3 glasses of wine a week, on my days off from work.I will never go back to her office and I’ve already told my PCP to stop recommending her.To add on to everything else, I was told to come in 45 minutes prior to my appt to fill out 15 minutes worth of paperwork. I ended up waiting an hour past my appointment time.

Note: Also goes by the business name Bay Hill Psychiatric Associates to inform those looking into Dr. Sultana. As someone who grew up seeing a variety of Psychiatrists, I was very unimpressed with this Doctor who made a point to place her personal beliefs/religion/etc into her practice. Without wanting to go into detail, she heavily advised going regularly to a rehab program... With this being the only occurrence ever (and since) as a patient.Only visited due to an Urgent Care referring me here. Havent had any reoccurrances since, and refused to go back to her office.Definitely do your research first.

It has been my pleasure to consult with Dr. Sultana regarding her patients and appropriate diagnosis. Her patients appear satisfied and well supported with her solid clinical skills.

They overcharged me each time we visited by $20.00 more than the co-pay should have been. Also Dr. Sultana was not good for my daughter and we left her practice soon after starting. I do NOT recommend her.
