I have been going to this America’s Best for 5-6 years. I don’t know why I have never left a review before because my experience has always been exceptional. The last few times I saw Dr. Griffin and I must say she really was a sweetheart, knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. Even the tech who performed my test before I saw the doctor was so sweet. Her name is Zeitra and I had to ask the girl up front for her name because that’s how good and personable she was. I am moving an hour away soon but I will still come here once a year to have my exams done. Great experience each time !!!

After a long day, it was so nice to be greeted by the eye tech, Zeitra, who made me feel instantly comfortable, and who explained every part of the exam in great detail. It was a pleasure to have my eye exam, frame fitting and order process done at this E Colonial location. From the receptionist to the ordering, every personnel at this location made the process efficient, comfortable, and smooth. This was my first time ordering glasses & contact lenses with Americas Best and this locations team did an excellent job. Id be happy to recommend this team to anyone shopping for eyewear!

After speaking to the store to inquire about me being late after driving 20 miles in bumper to bumper traffic, I ran in the store one minute after my “grace period” to be late and was treated like a clown. The receptionist went around the corner laughing to the doctor and surrounding employees “your patient is here” which only magnified the laughing and murmurs on the other side of the wall. One employee stuck their head out to look and seen me looking back, and quickly ducked back around the corner only to laugh more. I’ve never felt so humiliated and degraded in my life. I only asked for them to please allow me to be seen so that I don’t lose my job because I need contacts. I am beyond myself right now. The employees that humiliated me are reprimanded for having such a nasty treatment towards customers.

Poor customer service. The oriental lady on front desk went and secret something to a co worker and came back saying that they were really busy and couldn’t take care of us. We went there (7-17-21 4:15 pm) with prescriptions ready to order some glasses. In store there was only two customers and some other employees doing nothing. Didn’t even offer appointment. Great service. So much competition; we don’t really need to do business there.

Edwin was exceptionally helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I have PTSD, and the gym next door was incredibly loud, which is triggering for me. But Edwin made me feel welcomed and like I was safe. He obliged my eccentricities. I walked out from the exam and purchasing the glasses feeling very happy. Everyone I interacted with was professional, friendly, and I felt valued as a customer. Waiting up to 3 weeks for glasses isn’t a big deal when I am able to save money and still have a gratifying shopping experience.

You have to wait for your eyeglasses for 3 weeks!!!!!!!!! To pick up your eyeglasses you have to get an appointment by calling them 😤 Never see anything like this. What if someone just lost eyeglasses and needs to buy one to be able to see? No way. He or she can lost their work because there is no way to drive or work without eyeglasses. 3 weeks to get done your eyeglasses??????? Shame on this business

Before I write this review let me just tell you to look at the reviews before mine. So many 1 star reviews and it’s not a coincidence it’s no wonder I had the worst experience here. Terrible employees, terrible quality glasses, terrible management, and the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I had been scheduled for an eye appointment and they ignored me for 15 mins straight until they finally asked me if I needed help. The glasses I did get from this place were the worst quality and broke within a few weeks and when I asked for a replacement they wanted to charge me for a whole new exam. With all the 1 star reviews before mine you would think they would do something about the staff/management/service at this location but alas nothing has changed and they are well on their way to 2 stars. Don’t ever waste your time and money here.

NOT COOL! I will return when they open at 9am this morning to finish my transactions. Hope its better!

The staff is very nice and friendly, however the quality of mine and my husbands glasses is atrocious. After having bought two pairs for each of us, I had mine tightened because they would fall off my head any time I looked down. Both pairs are already doing this again. They are very flimsy and cheaply made. I am so disappointed I spent so much money on glasses and I’m already looking for replacements elsewhere. Typically I replace my glasses every two years or less, there is no way these will last that long. Take my advice and spend your money else where. 😔

So I called customer service and I spoke to J’Michael and he was very understanding and worked with me on getting my glasses replaced. Came in for exam & new glasses. Employees very polite, pleasant experience all the way through. I purchased a pair of apparently rather tough Ray-Bans and its taken them a fair amount of time to get them fitted to my face properly but theyve been very kind, patient & persistent the whole way. Definitely reccomend if youre looking for a new set of glasses.

I have to mention that the level of customer service here was excellent! From going to get the exam to picking up my glasses. The receptionist and the doctor were professional and I believe the womans name is Rebecca who helped me pick out the glasses. They were also very clean and organized with the social distancing.

Absolutely garbage customer service, I don’t think I got a full sentence out the whole conversation that wasn’t cut off half way. They take their jobs VERY VERY personally. I was demeaned for not buying more contacts when I was running low, apparently America’s best hasn’t heard of Covid-19, or if they have they have absolutely zero compassion or understanding that it may have affected peoples finances. Even the manager had a bad attitude and acted inconvenienced by my questions. I will not be returning to this location, there are several other locations in the surrounding areas with not only friendlier staff but much more competent staff.

I’m here today and it was the worst experience with them. They recently open again and I’ve been feeling bad with my vision and needing new glasses urgently. I came here and I forgot my face mask and an ugly lady open the door and say “u have to come back with the face mask”. I did it and when I came back there wasn’t anybody here and she told “yes?” And when I said I was here few minutes ago she told me “u need an appointment and we have for the next Friday”. So why didn’t she tell me that the first time? They are the worst

Im writing this review because I was here a few years ago (2017) and it was a pretty bad experience. I honestly only came back because I didnt feel like paying $300 (at another eye exam center) for a contact exam when my prescription barely changes from year to year. I went in fully expecting a subpar experience but I was pleasantly surprised.I was greeted immediately. There was no wait. I just had to fill out some basic paperwork. Once I was done, I was called back into the first room in less than 5 minutes. Then when that was finished, I had to wait for the eye doctor, which again was less than 5 minutes. Then my final part was to purchase my contacts and pay for the exam. The whole visit was about 40 minutes and I only paid $99 for the contact exam. Everyone was really friendly and there was little to no wait. Pus the $99 pays for my eye exam for three years. You honestly cant beat that.I know people have had bad experiences here and I certainly was one of them previously. But it seems like theyre listening to the feedback and making the necessary changes. I would definitely recommend this location.

The information I was given on the first day was incomplete and incorrect. After 15 days I called to find out if they were ready to look for them and check them, they told me that I needed to make an appointment to pick them up if I want to check it and the person I spoke to treat me badly and I hung up the phone because I told him that was not the information I had given me. Do not go here. I have been wearing glasses all my life and this place is the worst. I had to return three times and get new glasses because they dont know how to fit glasses. And this new pair that I have had for about four days isnt good either. These people dont know what they are doing at all. Never have I had these kinds of issues in 55 years of wearing glasses. Horrible experience! Do NOT come to THIS location, this was my first time to this particular location as I’m on vacation and unfortunately had an incident where I was left without contacts and unable to drive back home. The manager Jessica Lang gave me a VERY hard time with my harmless and polite attempt to obtain a single pair of trial lenses to get home safely. She very rudely stated that she is unable to do anything for me unless I pay for a new eye exam. I contacted my regular America’s best back home and they shared with me that the Orlando store was just being difficult, they offered to call and fax the store but the manager insisted that if I wanted to see i would have to pay for a new exam because it was outdated by 3months!!! THREE MONTHS! I ended up going to another location nearby and they did it without a problem. Save yourself the trouble, they are more interested in your money than providing a good quality of eye care service! Also notice that all the reviews are answered with the same response, this particular store has obvious management issues and the reviews show a trend. Go elsewhere.

Absolutely the worst place you could go for vision and getting glasses. The staff was nice but service has been horrible. I did a eye exam and got a pair of eyeglasses and then a pair of sunglasses. Within two weeks got my glasses in and my sunglasses came messed up from the manufacturer. I wait a month and finnaly get them. I try them on and great. So I try to ask about certain types of eye protection for reccomendations and none of the staff knows what Im asking for. I try to show them. They explain to me with my prescription I cant get most eye protection. I ask again what do you reccomend and they dont understand what I mean. After many minutes of trying to discuss to almost an argument I get told to get a pair of Oakleys. I ask well what models should I look for or not. They dont know. Can I just buy a pair and you guys check? No. Do you guys have a system to look stuff up? Well yes but you have to bring in the pair. I dont think I ever want to come back here. If they cant do anything to try to help why should I bother? Id be better off with nothing. If you need any assistance or try to ask questions they cant help you. Overall Id say Im thoroughly dissapointedHeres an edit.After having what glasses i did get Ive had nothing but issues. Ive emailed, called, even went in to try to get my glasses adjusted. Anytime I get near heat or even outside for periods of time my glasses warp and sit crooked on my face. No one tries to help and when you do talk to people they are nothing but nasty and condescending. If I had the option Id just throw these frames away. Trying to do research on a different company that has quality customer service, and actusally tries to have quality products

I am completely frustrated! I used Americas Best for my glasses and eye exam 2 years ago so when I called to make an appointment a few days ago, they claimed to not take United Health Vision saying I need to give them the Vision service provider name. I double checked the UHC website and it says they are a provider and to tell them I have UHC Vision Ins.. After 2 phone calls and various research, I decided to call Vision Works. They said they take take UHC Vision...didnt need an additional Vision provider name and made an appt. easy peasy. I dont know what all the issues were over at Americas Best, but its a shame that they lost a customer. Bye Felicia!

I went for two new prescriptions. The doctor was wonderful and staff that day was nice.But when I got my glasses with the transition lenses, they didnt darken like I needed. And my computer glasses prescription was not correct. So I had to wear my old glasses while I waited and went without my computer glasses also, I use these at work. I waited three weeks.Then when I got my new glasses the script was not right, but my computer glasses were ok. I did get a refund for the transition lenses.I went in and told them about my new glasses and they said after the transition lenses were changed there was a discrepancy in my lenses, so back they go. I waited three more weeks. Just got them back and they are still wrong. I asked for compensation for their error, I got about $30.I then set up an appointment to get rechecked. I went in to the office and after being greeted by a not so personal receptionist - doing her COVID thing. was told to sit in the chair. I was seen by the same guy as before and had to explain again what was wrong. This same guy I had to always repeat what I was saying, seemed like he didnt listen very well. So he kept harping on the fact I had gotten a refund, I said so? the script is still wrong.He was waiting to talk to his GM and said I might have to pay for a recheck. I then got so mad I walked out. (the story was longer, just shortened it).Along with leaving this bad review, I am calling Americas Best Corp tomorrow morning and also BBB.Be careful coming here. They do not stand by their warranty, besides having poor customer service - after you spend money there.**UPDATE 08/10/2020**Jessica the DM of this location contacted me and did a simple fix of adjusting my glasses. I am grateful for that.

By far the worst experience Ive had in eye care. The initial exam was fine but everything following has been inefficient. A trial pair of lenses was ordered for me on the initial day of the exam and never came in. I would call the store and the associates would tell me they didnt know why. I tried ordering contacts elsewhere and the order could not be completed because my prescription was not finalized. So Ive resorted to calling the store every few weeks and have the same conversation. We dont know why they havent come in yet, well order them, it should take two weeks. Two weeks pass. I call. Same thing. This has been over three months now. I just want to see again!!!

I had great experience here. I was able to book a same day appointment using the website. I was in and out in the matter of an hour. In addition, I joined the eye club for $10 which grants me three eye exams. Prior to trying Americas Best I had to travel very far and payed double for the same level of service located in my neighborhood.

I’ve been coming to this location for the past 3 years as a member. I received an email on 7/2/19 to book my yearly free eye exam which I went ahead and did. I even called to ask when my last exam was since I remembered it was recent. I spoke to Montiel and he said it was last December but that I’d be able to have the exam before the year was up. He never mentioned that my membership was expiring on 7/10/19. My exam was on 7/12/19, the doctor gave me my trial contacts to put on and I had to wait for the next person to help me out. The next person helping me mentions a 10 dollar fee for the $99 membership and I’m thinking all I had to pay was $10 to extend my membership. She then says if I’m paying for the $89 or $99 membership to which I responded that I was not going to pay because I believed it was a free eye exam according to my email and I was never made aware that my membership had expired until after the exam and the contacts were given to me. She then says she’ll speak to a manager. She comes back and says they can do a no pay no something, don’t remember the name but that I would have to give them the contacts back and they wouldn’t give me the prescription. I asked to speak to her manager and she comes over. Mya, “the manager” tells me the same thing that I’d have to give the contacts back and not get the prescription. I explained to her why I booked the appointment and had I known I was going to pay for the exam then I would’ve never booked it and if by courtesy they would honor this exam to which she refused. I told her how did they expect me to take out the brand new contacts that I was already wearing and I had already thrown out my old ones. She mentioned something about me having to sign a waiver but then said there was nothing else to do so I left. This experience has been so unfortunate how they could care less about their “member” and be quick to go after the money but refuse to work with the “member.” I will never come back to America’s Best and really they should change their name to America’s Worst.

They were incredibly patient with me while I fiddled around for a while, and gave an excellent intro on how to care for them. For getting an appointment the same day, Im incredibly pleased.

I purchased bifocal eyeglasses less than two years ago from this location. A haze developed over the lenses after about one year. Wearing glasses for 50 years, I had not experienced this before! Today, I asked to speak with the manager regarding this issue, and if she could assist in some way. As luck would have it, Nikki Kramer, the manager, came out at that time from the rear of the store, and the staff attempted to introduce us. She refused to even look in my direction, let alone make a verbal response. I have never met her before today. I was told to wait. After twenty minutes of Nikki Kramer tending to everyone who came into the door, except me, I left. In summary, in my opinion, based upon 50 years of experience, this company sells inferior eye-wear. Based upon todays experience with Nikki Kramer, there is essentially no service for dissatisfied customers. To cap things off, Nikki Kramer has been in possession of my business card for four hours, saw me leave the store, and has made no attempt to contact me!

Definitely recommend this place, the doctor I worked with today was very helpful she made sure my prescription was right and did everything thing she could to make sure my vision was spot on.My previous doctors prescribed me the wrong lenses (toric) and I never needed them! Today I found out I was paying more for years on the wrong lenses and I never had to!Id recommend Americas Best for their prices and their dedication to make sure your prescription is right, they really do care about the patient!Definitely purchase the eye care club its worth every penny... I have never entered such a terribly run business in my life. We walked in, was not greeted, looked at the lady sitting. She then asks picking up? I said no buying. She asked for my script and said someone will be with us..... 30 mins later I say we are leaving after seeing a woman come in 10 mins after we did and walked up to a desk and was being helped. There was no apology, nothing. The Dr. Was sitting doing paperwork, said they only have 1 sales person. And told the employee she has her script she can leave. Terrible, terrible place of business!!!!

I was suffering with pinkeye(s) which got worse with a reaction from drops prescribed by a clinic. I went back to the clinic with badly swollen eyes they told me to go to the emergency room. Couldnt afford an ER bill, so I made some calls to eye doctors hoping someone would see me. Finally, it was Americas Best who offered me help. Doctor Dana Griffith seen me in short time and did a thorough medical examine on my pinkeyes with all her fancy gizmos and gadgets . She explained everything in great detail and had convinced me that my eyes were safe and that she is an expert and experienced. Dr. Griffith was super nice and friendly and showed concern for my health with following up phone calls and appointments . Unfortunately, the friendly sales staff didnt sell me on a pair of glasses, but I was truly impressed with Dr. Griffith and her caring expert service. Thank you Doc!!

Be careful of their salespeople at the end of your visit here. Their advertisement is completely misleading. $104 per pair! Oh by the way the lense isnt included and if its rimless, theres a $60 up charge.Tina is the most argumentative salesperson I have ever met. She will talk down to you and lie to your face. Im taking my prescription and going somewhere else. Dont believe the false advertising.

This is the worst place in Orlando to go. Poor customer service. Would rather buy glasses at dollar tree and take my chances. Only carry there brand. Wait 7 days for trial pair of contacts. Then another 7 days for your prescription. Maybe Im the only one but if I pay the dr. I expect my prescription. Pay more go somewhere they treat you like a person.

This place is great & affordable!!!! Dr. Griffin was super nice, informative and professional. I was not pressured to buy anything at the end of my eye exam & their Eyecare Club is soooo worth it. She even gave me a free trial of contacts. Will be coming here from now on for my contacts & eye exams.

I had an eye exam on November 17, 2016 I bought the two for $69.95 I ask for my prescription because they didnt give it to me at the time of the eye exam, I came back two hours after, the same day and they were refusing to give me my prescription. I only needed reading glasses. In less than 4 months my glasses broke, I went to see if they can fix my glasses because its been less than six months. They want me to purchase the one year warranty of $24.95 in order to fix the glasses instead of fixing my problem. The 2X $69.95 glasses are very poor quality, the leg of my glasses came off when I was wearing them. They have to improve the customer service at this place.

Its crazy they took my money and didnt get ANYTHING IN RETURN because i didnt call back in time yet NOONE told me that imformation but i have proof ive called them multiple times and they continued to vlame it on hurricane Harvy, also thier customer serive is ridiculous, Nancy is very rude and unprofessional! she actually hung up on me

I didn’t have an appointment here, my husband did. However, having had plenty of appointments at places like this, neither one of us were impressed. The staff was friendly but generally seemed scatterbrained and lacking in communication, his appointment took quite a long time for what was a simple visit (eye exam), the glasses selection is really underwhelming, and on top of that, an employee got her wires crossed and messed up the billing process, so I’m still waiting on a refund for what appears to be a double charge. We came here to try someplace different than Target, but I’d just go to Target.

Ya gotta be crazy to not get your Contact exams here when you know you have to renew every year any way.. They give you Three exams for the price of one.. Walmart is more expensive ... Soraya was lovely even though she put me in the eyeballl air blast torture device , Dr. Jaghani was quick and efficient as he dialed in my prescription strength .. Which had changed..and the Boss lady was amazing as well!

From your advertisement it seems reasonable I went to Walmart last month wish I had tried you haven’t gotten my glasses yet have to take a trip back to Orlando to pick them up costing $400.00Will try you next time
