I am so sorry to have to post this review considering the nice and welcoming personality, but please, make sure you ask for one of the experienced members of the salon. I went for layers but now the left is longer than the right side. My hair has no shape at all, the cut is al over the place and will have to be worked on again but gotta let it grow some more or it will be too short.

I really loved my experience here. Ive only ever been to hair Cuttery and this was such a different experience. I came in with a badly cut pixie style and Miguel fixed up my hair and I feel so much more confident. Its been a couple days and I still cant get over how much better my hair looks and I dont even have to style it in the morning. Miguel explained what he was doing and why he was doing it to relieve hair cut anxiety which I also really appreciated. 10/10 I will only be coming here from now on.

I went here bc of all the great reviews. I went to get a trim not only was it 55 plus tip and it has honestly been the worst haircut i ever had hairstylist did offer to fix it but it cant be fixed unless i cut a LOT of length. I honestly heart broken i am letting my hair grow and she cut it horrible. One side is shorter than other in many areas.

If you like Chuck e cheese you will love Xander Blue. There are always kids everywhere. My stylist has told me the one little girl there all the time is the manager or owners daughter which makes it worse. I love kids and am around them all the time. Getting my hair done every 6 weeks is supposed to be a escape. The front desk is always very welcoming and the stylist are great, I just wish I could go and relax instead of kids running around.

I recently had the American Wave treatment at Xander Blue and wow what a difference! My hair isnt as frizzy and my curls are much better defined. The staff is always friendly and you can tell they are very passionate about their craft! I have never had a consultation like I had at Xander Blue and it made me realize how much other salons were missing about me, my hair and my needs. I have recommended them to my family and friends and will continue to recommend them because they truly do an amazing job!

I used Xander Blue for my wedding hair and makeup. We had a small ceremony with our immediate family, and we did not have any bridesmaids or groomsmen. That said, it is nearly impossible to find someone who will come to your hotel to do only bridal hair and makeup without sacrificing a kidney. I reached out to several places and a lot had minimum requirements, so I was getting discouraged and then I thought...well have a car there, why dont I try local salons? I only wanted a simple updo, and if push came to shove I could do my own makeup. Xander Blue had excellent reviews and they happened to be the first place I called. I was put in touch with Lisa Lefferts and after one phone conversation, I knew I had found my fairy godmother. This woman is amazing. We scheduled a trial (at the salon) and she did my hair exactly as I had envisioned, plus she did my makeup. She charged me next to nothing, and had no problem coming to my hotel room the morning of...she said it was practically along her way to work and she didnt want me to have to worry about traveling to her. We kept in touch (I am from RI and got married in Orlando) and she showed up bright and early on my wedding day with a contagious happiness that set me right at ease. We had coffee and chatted while she did my hair (it was even more gorgeous than the first time!), and then she helped me with my makeup. I am forever indebted to this woman for saving me so much stress, money, and time. She made me feel more beautiful than I ever thought possible. If you need a hair treatment, a makeup application, or even just a warm conversation with a wonderful soul, please go pay Lisa a visit. Youll be glad you did.

I went to the salon looking for a non-discriminating to men or transgender people, and to find a nice high quality(as I am new in town) place to do high-lights/color. I asked the woman at the desk for her help. She said karli would be a good fit for me. She gave me her phone number as (every one works foe them selves) to make an appointment. I never heard back after 3 days. I called and a man answered and said he would call me back. I got a very rude voice mail saying they are not accepting new clients??? This a very high end snooty, discriminating place towards people that dont care about military veterans, transgender people, and people that dont (man without buzz cuts) look like them. This is real sad in Orlando, florida, and in america today. I thought businesses were thier to serve people and earn money. I didnt think we still have rascism in America today. Please think twice of giving them your business.

Words cannot describe how happy I was after I left this salon today. I moved to Florida about 3 days ago from Chicago and I had just gotten my hair done before I left. Long story short I was in DESPERATE need of getting my color fixed. I called the salon and the receptionist could not have been more understanding of my situation. Lisa was the stylist who fixed my color and I honestly could not be more happy with the outcome. I went in with what looked like months of outgrowth from my roots and she got me back to my normal blonde color. The atmosphere was amazing and I will definitely keep coming back to Lisa for my color!

I have not cried after going to the salon in years. Today my worse nightmare came true. I came in for a simple highlight based on all the good reviews since my usual stylist was no longer available. I came in with reddish brown hair wanting some caramel highlights. I ended up with brassy greenish blonde highlights in my hair. I was horrified. The stylist attempted to fix my hair by adding lowlights. It was still not enough to save my hair. I ended up looking like a big mess with multi colored streaks in my head. My hair has never been so dry and brittle after a day at the salon like this before either. When I got home my mother was horrified and all my husband could say was you look funky. I am still crying over this botched up mess and cant wait till I can just dye my hair back to one color again.

LOVE Xander Blue Salon! I have been going here for over three years and will continue to exclusively go to this salon as long as I live in central Florida. My stylist Bennet is top notch, and I have full confidence in the rest of his team as well. He takes time to listen to the look Im after, and he studies my hair to help me make the best decision. Ive noticed other stylists take the same care in their consultations as well. They also offer a wide variety of products and walk you through what works for the look you want. (Plus they have the best and largest selection of OPI nail polish around... Much better than Ulta or Target.) Its well worth the near hour drive it takes me to get there from my home. I always look forward to my next appointment!
