Shanice is the Best💯!! She is my hairstylist for my daughter, myself and my husband. She answers her texts quickly and makes our appointments when we need them. She does the styles we ask for and makes them her own.

I love it here. They always fine a way to fit me into their schedules. Ive gotten different kinds of braids done, sew-ins, crotchets and I recently got a virgin perm and cut, and I am so happy with the results. I recommend them to anyone! They can do it all! And their prices a reasonable! You will not regret it shanice hooks me up with my braids and crochet needs and janice does my perms and sew-ins. They both are good at what they do. I feel very safe and confident in their chairs.

Maybe they were having a bad day but RUDE is the first word that comes to mind. I scheduled 2 weeks in advance and specifically told whoever scheduled me that I was natural and wanted to big chop and perm my hair. She said it was no problem and it could be done but once I got there they seemed to have no knowledge of anything I had told them. Then the lady who actually did my hair (can’t remember her name) didn’t seem to know what she was doing. Once she put the perm in of course my head started burning like crazy and I asked her to wash it out and she acted as if I was suppose to just let my scalp sore up. I told her I understood that the perm was a necessity for the hairstyle I wanted and I would be fine w just a short style but she insisted on doing finger waves which was fine but the entire time she mumbled slick remarks under her breath and made me feel extremely annoyed and uncomfortable. All in all I feel like the lady who was doing he scheduling at the time I was there (shop owner) should’ve been the one doing my hair Bc the other lady needs a huge touch up on her skills. Birthday hair 3/10

Flew in to Orlando for a training, wanted to get knotless braids. Shanice was on-time with my appointment, this is the fastest Ive gotten my hair braided with this style. She did an awesome job. Received lots of compliments.

I made an appointment at 5:00 and didn’t get any service until 6:00. They do there braids tight and are nice but the wait time is very irritating

The first time I was here everything was good I set up an appointment the second time and basically they told me Thursday at 3:30 and Im supposed to leave to Puerto Rico and three hours long story short they put me on the schedule for Sat instead of Thursday like they said on the phone so im screwed shout out old stars barber for getting me right Janice is not a promised appointment they screwed me never coming back there

This is a great shop! The beauticians are professional, friendly, like family, and very attentive in their craft. They dont make appointments and then have you waiting. The results are great as well. I watched two others get their hair done while mine was being braided and they both walked out on point! Jessica is on her skills too...ask for her or any of them. They all know what they are doing.

The staff is nice. The down side is my hair looks nothing like the pic I showed her and they are ridiculously overpriced. It was $60 for 3 braids.

I came to Janice for a haircut. I had my reservations of course, never cut it so short before. I absolutely love the look i left with and would recommend her to anyone. Feel like a new person! 😀💯

I wouldn’t come here again. I’ve been growing my hair out natural for four years, and came in for a ‘trim’ and highlights. I was satisfied with the highlights, but the trim was horrible. I made it very clear that I did not want length taken off and she ‘trimmed’ 2-3 inches off.I came here to work with someone who knew how to do natural hair, and her technique (or lack there of) clearly indicated that she does not know how to handle natural hair.Also she rarely conversed with me the entire time I was there, which was rude and awkward.

Very much rude I came and asked how much for a haircut and she answered 25$ I asked her how long was the wait and with attitude she said she wasn’t doing anything today

This is a nice shop, very friendly environment, but overpriced by far. $150 for simple crochet braids,the most Ive ever paid is 85 to $100 the owner charged this ridiculous price. I was in shock. I was hoping to make this a permanent spot, but changed my mind instantly. The pay rate in Florida is lower than a lot of other States in the U.S. not sure how the residents can pay what she charges. I have had hair done in NY, NJ, PA,Delaware ,Maryland,DC, SC and CT and never came across a place this expensive.

I called and made an appointment for 2, then changed it to 4, and then back to 2 again. And I also asked if it was possible to come in at 9am instead of 9:30 because we were there for EDC and wanted to make it back in time to catch our Kissimmee shuttle. They didn’t have a problem with it one bit and we’re very understanding. Ms. Janice was there early waiting on us and knew exactly how we wanted our braids done. We brought in our own colored extensions, although she did have some that she could of provided. Definitely going back to her next EDC!

I Dont Like Anything About Her Service. She Cant Braid And When She Does She Yanks On Your Hair About To Pull It Out Your Scalp. I Will Never Use Her Services Again.

I wish I could have given it 0 stars because the service was HORRIBLE! I came in to get my hair dyed a specific color blue (I showed her the specific color and everything) and the first time she dyed it, it came out green and she said that she can add purple to it to make it blue, but I told her that she should just dye it dark blue to make it better (but I dont think that she had the color because she kept saying to just dye it purple and it will turn blue) so the second time she died it, it still didnt look like the color that I showed her nor wanted. I was given the choice to dye it darker the second time but I decided not to because I had already been under the drier 4 times and I was trying not to damage my hair anymore. All and all I 10 out of 10 would NOT recommend (at least dont get your hair died)

She did such a good job on my box braids!!! I show what I want and she did exactly what I wanted I’m so happy. Such a nice and sweet lady.

I wish that I could give this salon 0 stars! I took my daughter to this salon to have twist braids done, this stylist claimed to know how to do this style of braiding, After she finished with my daughters hair, we noticed that the sections of hair she used for the single braids were too large and we could see large parts of my daughters scalp, the braids also started to unravel within an hour of the braids being done. This salon refused to refund not even half of the money I paid her after seeing the result of her work. Do not go to this salon, I dont think that this Janice person is licensed to style hair and she doesnt know what she is doing.

Amazing place me the mrs and my little girl went here a couple of days ago we didn’t ring or book just walked in and asked even tho she had someone booked in for half an hour later she did my girls hair there and then and mine after the booked in appointment 5$ a braid so the girls got four each and I got a fish bone Iv never had a fish bone and wanted one for so long we are actually going back to her just before we fly home would recommend to anyone in the area wanting their hair done

I have had my hair extensions in for nearly 10 months. I have been absolutely thrilled with the product and service that Janice has provided. I selected virgin hair extensions as I wanted the best quality, and also wanted to be able to wear them for as long as possible.

I have been coming here for 2 years and I always get great service. Janice is the best.

Janice is a very nice lady and her shop is clean and professional. My only complaint is that my hair started untwining from my Senegalese twists the day I got them done. Her technique for installing twists is not what I was hoping for. They were not tight and became lose much sooner than I hoped. For the cost of the hair style I was not too happy with how long they lasted. Overall she may be a good hair stylist but Senegalese twist is not her area of expertise.

Very disappointing! Do NOT go to this salon. Stylist obviously did not know the difference between a Demi and Permanant color. The products they use can be purchased at any corner beauty supply store. Stylist is not aware of modern styles. Perhaps color, cut and styling classes need to be taken because she did not have the knowledge nor confidence for the service requested. The salon was dirty. Another stylist in the next station was eating while she was braiding a clients hair. Extremely unprofessional. I will never go back and I don’t recommend anyone to go there either. Sorry not sorry.

The Janice Beauty Salon is professional hair salon!!! The inside is beautiful yet super comfortable. This is my salon now.

My sons interlocs are nice, but this place is so unprofessional you need a key to get upstairs in the elevator they couldnt find a key they had to ask around for a key at the neighboring shops, they finally use someone key after 10 minutes. I came upstairs, drop my son to get his hair done, I have to call the get back upstairs in the elevator the phones been busy for 2 hours no way of getting hold of my son and then when I finally had somebody in my family to get through to my son on his iPad they told me they told them that the phone was off the hook my son be done in 10 minutes so unprofessional!!!! I am waiting outside in this heat for my son to come down the guy doing his hair assured me hed be done by 5 oclock as we have someone else to get and I am still sitting here at 5:37pm. I would give the male stylist a 5 star.

The shop is nice and clean but I dont like my hair. The price I paid for my twist wasnt worth it at all. I usually only let Africans do my hair but I tried something different which I regret. I dont recommend anyone getting their twist or braids from this shop.

Horrible ! Horrible ! Do not go here ! Its so unprofessional!This lady makes up her own prices because she feels that she is the owner and can take advantage of her customers ! This place is ghetto , dirty (brushes are back ally on the floor ) , rude (employees got into our conversation trying to fight with me ) and they are liars! The owner Janice called the police saying that I refused to pay which I just refused the ridiculous price !!!!! Stay away ! Stay away !! I had to pay the price she gave because I didnt have time to wait for the police . I warn you to stay away !
