I came in on a Monday afternoon to see Michelle for a haircut and it was AMAZING. She walked me through what she was doing and accommodate to my needs. I usually just get a trim all around but this time decided to get bangs but was a little hesitate. I love them so much and will definitely be going back. The receptionist were very polite from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out.

I have never been so mistreated in a beauty salon. I am a regular customer and I am always kind and generous to those who serve me. I was treated for the 3 time by Erick, who seems to be a very unstable person or may have some bipolar disorder. After Ericks worst haircut, I kept visiting the salon to keep my hair blonde and treat it for how damaged it is. Today I went to my appointment, I applied a toner that is gray instead of blonde and I told him that I did not want that color. He told me that he was not the stylist for me. That he cannot attend to me. I am left with half of my hair wet and the other half dry. He told me that I could go or have someone else take care of me. I asked to speak to the manager and she was not in the room, they called her on the phone. I explained the whole situation to him and the option he gave me was that they would dry my hair or that it would be another day for the color because today it could not be. I was crying and decided to leave and never come back. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS !!!!!!Worst service in the world.

So this was my second time coming here.. and this time I wasn’t impressed at all which was very disappointing. Let me start by saying that Vida, the lady who does eyebrow threading was great! She listened to how I wanted my eyebrows done and she delivered!! BUT, the gentleman who did my haircut although he was sweet, didn’t deliver the cut I was looking for. I told him what I was looking to get. Even showed pictures for reference. I was totally thrown off by the experience considering this is what I would call a pretty high end hair salon. I got a basic trim and wanted some curtain bangs.. although the curtain bangs aren’t terrible it’s just not what I was expecting and shorter than what I wanted (which I told him) He asked me how I like to style my hair and I told him usually curl it with the wand (thinking that this is how he was going to style my hair also the pictures I showed him had the hair styled) and he only blew it out with a paddle brush.. my hair was SUPER flat and frizzy! My bangs were not even styled. He didn’t use ANY product in my hair at all. Not even a serum or spray which I was a bit taken back by. And once I was done the lady in the front asked how my experience was and I told her it was okay.. (she could tell I was not impressed at all) what was even more disappointing was the fact that this time around my haircut was $60!!The first time I came here I had way longer hair and had it chopped off into a bob and styled which I only paid $45 for. So I was very surprised to be charged so much more now for what I felt like was less service. I really don’t know if I would come back here.. if I did then I wouldn’t go to the same person.

The Baldwin park location is amazing! Everyone here makes you feel welcome and comfortable as well as confident that you’ll walk out loving your hair! Eric is an amazing colorist and I trust him every time I walk in! I always leave feeling so good about my look! Very professional.

I am a client very regular twice a week in style hair Alafaya but Yesterday Friday January I was looking for the best colorimetric stylist person so I found Laura in instagram I took my daughters it consultation and she said yes is a virgin hair is perfect so let’s do it we set up the appointment for Saturday January 30 she said around 3 hours and $200 doe color and blow out well our surprise when I went to pick up my daughter what I found was a lighter parts in some parts of my daughter hairWhen the before we showed the photo más we let her know she wants half hair and greyafter I’m speaking with my daughter about the process I asked to her if they applied grey color after the discoloration and the answer was no I guess everyone know that whatever is the color that you want to get done you have to putted after discoloration but know she just used discoloration and the hair became little blonde as you can see in the picture no even greyAs well I have to let the owner not the bad attention that they haveWhen I arrived to pick up my daughter, she was standing just at front of the front desk and the Lady who was there was speaking and speaking with another lady so I was checking in my daughter after couple minutes Laura came to us with a shampoo I her hair and just tell me this is the shampoo that I recommend to use gave to me and leave she didn’t even said hello or what do you think or do you like or at least explain to me what happened because is like respect for the client even to my daughter she didn’t ask I guess she knew it was a terrible jobAlso continuing talking about bad attention and service the lady saw me standing there for few minutes and we just like watching how they talk and we like ghosts I guessWhen finally I desired to tell her hello we are done? We good to go? Because I know they have my credit card on file.When the lady responded I didn’t even know who are you! We a bad face expression and I let her know and her mom and she so? I said well she was attendee here but in that moment Laura came up at the end the price was $250 because she said she cutter he hair and as you can see don’t look likeThis people can check in the another franchise I always let minimum $20 of tips to Eugen, Zoraida, Ricardo all of them stylists or Maya who made my eyebrows in the another in style hair in Waterford lakes and clearly I went to Baldwin park because Adriana leave this in style hair Waterford because she was the one that I love there doing colorimetric and very upset and in disappointment with the attention and service

This was my first time at this location. I always went to the Avalon Park location, but I now live in winter Park and Baldwin Park is much closer. I had my eyebrows threaded by Vida and I was not happy with my results. There are some areas of my brows that are thinner in areas due to years of waxing that I had pointed out to her prior to, and I let her know I just wanted them shaped this visit. The lighting in the salon made it look like I had barely any eyebrows and my already thin areas looked worse and even more thing. I pointed this out to her and she really didnt say anything but yeah and wanted to try and offer brow tinting. Before I left she used brow powder which helped a little. On my way out the receptionist could tell I was upset and I let her know I wasnt happy and we stepped outside to talk about my experience. She was so very nice, respectful and comforting and listened to me. In the natural light they didnt look as bad but they were still way too thin. In the further I may be back, but I am not sure I will choose vida. Thank you so much to the receptionist(I didnt get her name) who didnt judge me and let me be a touch over dramatic lol I appreciate your time and understanding.

Had my eyebrows done at the Baldwin Park location and did not have a good experience. I expressed to the lady that I wanted to keep my eyebrows thick and full and only wanted the surrounding skin to be clean. She made my eyebrows the thinnest Ive ever seen them, I almost cried. I am so upset and angry that she did not listen to my request.

DO NOT GO HERE! I have been to all three locations after my stylist of many years moved and each has been a nightmare. Most recently I conveyed to the receptionist I needed a stylist to upkeep my Balayage and was told I’d be set up with one of their best color stylists whom also teaches. He turned my hair orange….literally! I went back for a color correction and despite going back he still paid no attention to my request. He tried blaming it on bad lighting and the cut needed to be rectified because their Waterford lakes location did a terrible job, fried it and the cut was terrible. I had to wear a wig in between next appt. I placed several calls in attempt to speak with a manager. Paid over $700 in the last couple months (not including tips) for orange hair and still no call back from a manager despite my many attempts. I have pictures, proof and had to go to yet another salon to get if fixed she literally said it was awful and did an excellent job of toning it down at a reasonable price. I have been stressed and literally in tears my husband and I have a vacation planned and I’ve spent all weekend trying to get this done to no avail. Most awful experience

IT was really my first time but really love love it the owner shes a very sweet person. Its Very clean.the owner only been there one year.I was looking for a long time looking for a place to cut my hair I am a very picky person. but I read the reviews and I was pleased and very happy when she was done. my granddaughter says Grandma I love your hair she noticed my haircut I really truly recommend this place.Remember shes a new owner at this location. shes say she been cutting hair for years she says💝☺

Eric is the best! I came in with a regretful head of box dyed hair and Eric was able to give me exactly what I hoped for! He is extremely talented and assured me that he was going to do his very best to achieve what I asked for but made me aware my hair might not be able to do it based on the color i used previously.He worked his magic and I am in LOVE with my hair.He is super easy to talk to and I left his chair feeling like I’ve known him for ever. It clearly says on their website that children under 4 years old are free with an adult hair cut (see pic of website). I even called to double check and the front desk person helped me. Once my son and I got our cuts, I was told that his hair would only be free with a color treatment…website and all staff need to be updated then!

Eric is a magical hair color artist. I went in not really knowing what I wanted. After a few minutes of asking questions, he whipped up a batch of color and worked his magic. Eric is extremely intuitive and will work with you if youre not quite sure what you want. However, even if you do know what you want, he will do exactly what you ask--hes THAT great! My hair has never been happier, and I have Eric to thank. If you are looking for someone who will listen to you and is unbelievably talented in his craft, go see Eric. Like, right now! Had a gel mani and pedi, and full body waxing with Haileigh! Super relaxing experience, amazing selection of polishes. Getting waxed can be a vulnerable experience, but Haileigh was very professional and attentive. She explained maintenance and really made sure I was comfortable and happy at the end. Will be back!

Rachel was so amazing! I got a men’s facial which was super relaxing and I normally see her for my eyebrow wax. My skin feels great and my brows are on fleek.

I had difficult hair. Fast forward- after chemo, I was lucky to have hair again. Self esteem, and talent in that regard were lacking on my part. I accidentally discovered Eric Austin. Lets just say-game changer! He had the confidence and skills to make me feel good about myself again. We started with regular blow-outs, then I trusted him to cut and color. Seriously, you will not find anyone better at either, especially color. The product (Alfaparf) does not fade, and he nails the color every time. Thank you so much Eric!! I went to the Waterford location and saw Adriana to go platinum with my hair and loved the whole experience! My hair turned out beautiful and have gone back several times to get blowouts from her. I also have started going to Maxine for wax appointments. Overall, great experience... you can tell how professional they are and that they love what they do.

Blonding to that beautiful ashy tones is no joke and it took me months before I found a stylist that not only delivers on my wishes, but also puts the health of my hair first. I am not that easy to please (thats what career in science/healthcare does to you) but Eric did truly an amazing job, having purpose and a plan for my hair, and even took the time to walk me through it. I had my appointment at Waterford with Samantha for a manicure and pedicure but she usually works at Baldwin. I was about 20 minutes early to my nail appointment and she was able to take me in early! I told her I wanted Ombré acrylics and she did got started right away! She did an amazing job and kept making sure I was satisfied with my nails. They literally look perfect and everyone is complimented me on them already. She is the sweetest person I have ever met and we talked a lot of good conversations. Furthermore, she did an amazing job on my toes and will be definitely coming back to see her.

Eric at the baldwin park location was incredible!! It was my first time with InStyle and I showed him a picture of my hair inspiration and he made it happen! He gave me beautiful texture and hair that I am SO excited to show off!! Would absolutely go to him in the future!! I was the last client of the day and he still took the time to style and curl my hair to match the picture. Feels so good to have a beautiful haircut again!

If you need a massage, Meegan does a great job. I was new to the area and this was seriously one of the only reputable places to get an actual massage (vs everything else that’s offered in Orlando). I’ve been a few times and plan to continue. She does a great job with deep tissue especially if you are prone to getting knots in your upper back, shoulders, etc.

Love this salon! I have been coming here for years to get my hair cut and colored, regular manicures and pedicures, and eyebrow threading. The entire staff is extremely caring and accommodating to your specific needs. The environment is fun and a lovely place to spend an afternoon.

This is such a BEAUTIFUL location downtown Baldwin Park! The salon is absolutely enormous with the cutest boutique clothing around! The receptionists are all super friendly and helpful every time I come in or book an appointment.I get my hair done by Marie and she is absolutely AMAZING! She always listens and does exactly what I want!They have $40 massage specials and $40 facials all the time which I LOVE and the estheticians/massage therapists are all so nice and incredibly talented!

This is the best hair salon I have ever been to. There is a cozy and trendy environment, as well as superb location. It was a little pricey but it was money well spent. My stylist was Kiyah and she was very friendly and did an amazing job on my blowout. I will definitely be returning!

Sara is AMAZING!!! I moved to Florida less then a year ago and have been struggling to find someone who can cut and color my hair and have a personable conversation with at the same time. I have thick, coarse and straight hair...that if it wasnt so thick I think it would want to be crazy curly! I normally let the hair dresser have free reign with the cut and color of my hair as long as I keep my length and there is some blonde involved. SO far I have only found hair dressers who would bleach my hair and not give me any shape to help battle this humidity. Sara not only gave me a beautiful color with highlights and a copper low light but she styled my hair that I got more compliments then I knew what to do with!!! The salon is beautiful and has an amazing selection on clothes in their retail area...all the pieces were very unique and beautiful! They also have a wonderful hair washing station that really supports your neck.

I was at your salon on 24 December and presented a spafinder gift card to Taylor. After Taylor took the card and punched in numbers and couldnt get card to work (or so she thought) she called someone who told her to call the ph number on back of the card. She did that and said there was zero balance on the card. I was surprised because It was a gift from my sister and was sure there was 50.00 on the card. So, I paid the bill with my debit card and left. I called the spa finder company and spoke with a gentleman and he informed my the 50.00 was spent at your establishment and was pending and I should call you back to have the 50.00 put back on my card.I called back on the 24th and Taylor said she couldnt do anything about it and would pass on to Lisa the manager.I called your salon on 26th and explained my issue and was told Lisa was aware of the situation and would call me back later in the day or on the 27th. I have yet to hear from Lisa and have checked the gift card balance and it is still at zero.The manager did refund me the money on my spafinder gift card, thank you for addressing the issue. The manicure was great!!

Ive frequented a bunch of In Style salons, and my experience is ALWAYS positive. What initially started as an eyebrow appointment turned into a consultation, and then an amazing new style! I consulted with Amanda, and she recommended a balayage - which I love. The environment is stress-free, the salon is beautiful, and the staff are patient and kind. I truly loved my experience here. Youre not just paying for a hair cut/dye/blow out/style youre paying for their care, their knowledge, and the experience they cultivate. Worth the price, worth my time, and Ill definitely reccomend Amanda and the salon to my friends/family. Ill be back ladies!

Absolutely horrible experience for my son. He is a musician in college in Orlando and he went in to have his hair colored. The end result was nothing like what He wanted, not even close. Plus included damage to his hair. The manager would not refund the $160 that it cost him. The customer service is awful as well. She offered for him to come back in to have it fixed. Why would you go back to a place that couldnt do it correctly the first time to have it corrected? I wouldnt recommend this salon to anyone. Very surprised it is an upscale area like Baldwin Park.

They offer the best massages! I now have a weekly massage booked. Its that good. I am excited to use their other services too.

Ive been going to this hair salon for a couple of months since moving into the area. Ive had my hair cut on a few occasions by a couple of different ladies who do a decent job. Every time I ask for an appointment, I get stuck with someone new; this is a problem because I have to reiterate what I want over and over again. This time, a gentlemen named Ken cut my hair. He could not understand what I was asking for after multiple attempts, never even washed my hair afterwards (knowing that they have always done so in the past), and did a terrible job. Now Im going to find a different place to get my hair FIXED, since it is all in different lengths and patchy. A mans haircut shouldnt cost $30, ever, especially not when it is done terribly. I lived with the price due to the convenience, but their service is really unacceptable now, apparently. Take your business elsewhere.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience!!First off, love the location and the store itself. There is a trendy boutique in the front, and it is very large/spacious and inviting in the back. I liked the sunlight coming in though the windows while getting my hair done.Next, the service. I went in to fully bleach my hair (strip it of its almost black natural color), and dye it bright fashion teal blue. I was booked with Savannah. Savannah is amazing. She has ALL my future hair business. I love her! She can hold an interesting conversation, has great recommendations, and makes you feel comfortable. Plus, she did a banging job on my hair. She is a genuine person who is great at her job. Go to her for color for sure (especially if its a wild blue or pink or something)!!Also, she curled my hair as an added bonus :) I felt so good about my new hair I went out to dinner that night and got tons of compliments!I will say that I think the price was steep (not totally sure as I have nothing to compare to), but I happily paid $240 for my hair once it was done. It took 6 hours, and I am so happy with the result.Totally recommend this place for color, not sure about the haircuts themselves as I havent had one yet. See Savannah if you can, shes awesome!

I went to Meegan for he first time for a hour Swedish massage. The service was impeccable! Seeing a new massage therapist for the first time is not always the most comfortable situation but Meegan made me feel right at home at Instyle. Will definitely be returning, next time for a deep tissue massage.

Hair cuttery quality cut but with salon prices.

I went in for an appointment, but after waiting 30+ minutes, I was told the stylist was unavailable and that I needed to reschedule. I will not be going back to this salon.

I have lived in the area for about over 2 years, and have been getting my hair cut at Instyle (Baldwin location) since moving here. The last time I had gotten my hair cut there was a few months ago, and I was very upset with the results. The stylist had cut my hair significantly shorter than requested. She also asked me if I would like my hair flat ironed, but did not tell me that it would cost an extra $25 for that service ( I found out when I went to pay at the desk after), which I refused to pay, as I can flat iron my hair at home for free in 10 minutes. I had spoken to the manager on the phone after. She was very nice, and told me that I could either come back and have it fixed, OR keep a credit on my account for next time if I would like it to grow out first. I told her I would like to come back after it grows out.I called today to schedule a haircut, since my hair had grown out, and checked to make sure the credit was on my account, as promised. The girl on the phone informed me that I had come in a few days after my terrible haircut to have it fixed, and there was no credit. She even told me the name of the stylist who supposedly fixed my hair. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. I HAD NOT BEEN BACK TO HAVE MY HAIR FIXED. I informed the girl on the phone of this, and she made no effort to figure out what happened. I told her thank you anyway, but I will not be coming back, to which she replied, have a nice day.I am not sure how their computer system operates, but I would think that a human being would have had to intentionally enter this imaginary visit to have my hair fixed. I understood that the occasional bad haircut happens, but it is the dishonesty and lack of customer service that will keep me from ever going back.
