My mother and I have been going to this salon for years. They have always been upfront and honest about everything. I totally recommend going to my girl Bridgette! She’s one of the best! If you have questions about pricing give them a call and they can tell you the starting price! (It might cost a little more depending on your hair but that’s why it’s called a starting price). Bridget has been doing my hair since I was in elementary school. I’m now I’m my 20s and I don’t trust anyone else to do my hair. I have never had a bad hair cut with her. Always polite and takes care of her clients. 100% recommend Bridget for any hair style need.

I found this place (and Bridget!) on Google and I’m so happy! I’d gotten a price estimate over the phone & it reflected what I had (shoulder length hair, straight). In the past few visits, Bridget’s worked to get my color combo perfect in spite of supply shortages from the pandemic. Best of all I get compliments all the time from strangers not only about the color but the QUALITY of the cut. Even on trims! I’ve only worked with Bridget at this salon but I highly recommend considering this salon if you’re not happy with your service/cut/color/experience somewhere else.

You can see from reviews that Art of Hair has top notch stylists doing work that brings people back again and again! But the salon itself is in serious need of an update/renovation!! Number one: they need new wash/rinse chairs (or sinks) that are height adjustable and have lumbar support. My neck was strained and getting rinsed downright painful! Beyond that, the paint is an awful color. Floors are dated. Ceiling tiles yellowed. I was happy with my hair, but if Id not been directly referred I never would have come in. Which really, is so sad when you realize what a gem the people are!!

Very dishonest about pricing. Gave me a price over the phone but when I was checking out it totally changed, Charging me $50 for basic blow dry! I have never had that in any other salon, just be careful going there and prepare to pay double.

I gotta share my joy of finding a GREAT hairstylist at Art of Hair salon. Her name is Frances and I def recommend her. She did my hair a week ago. When I got into the salon, I had one thing in mind: to have a new look by cutting my overly-long hair. So I gave Frances a few picture ideas of how I wanted layers to frame my face and to still keep it fairly medium in the front and a bit longer on the back with a U-shape length. And she worked her magic! As I watched inches being cut from my mane, I was already delighted with feeling much lighter and freer hair (if that makes sense). So when I saw a bunch of hair on the floor I got pretty excited specially seeing the final results. Im sharing 2 pics of my new haircut: the blow dry straight look and the waivy look (which is my natural hair). Thank you, Frances, youre a keeper! God bless! 😁

Ive been going to Frances for many years now for hair cuts and hair coloring and recomend her highly for being professional and good at what she does. She is very patient and always listened to what I want done to my hair. I have been to Art of Hair several times already for haircuts, hair color and haircut for my boys too. Ive always made appointments for Franchesca because my boys like how she cuts their hair and I do too. Shes always professional and I always leave the salon happy with the services I receive. The place offers free coffee and its always clean. When my sister from Illinois moved here, I recommended Franchesca to her and theyve been regular customers of hers since then.

I want to say I’ve only been to this salon 3 times. The first two times I had Wendy and she was great, but this time I had franceska. I have been doing treatments to my hair every 3 months because The texture of my hair is really dry, curly, and thick. I originally did the botox and it wasn’t lasting very long, so Wendy told me the next step up was keratin treatment. Well when i scheduled it i went in and the stylist asked me if I’ve ever had keratin before And I said no. She never informed me of any risks. She shampooed my hair and when she was shampooing she got shampoo all in my ear and water everywhere. I had to pick the soap out of my hair with the green towel. Then she put the keratin on. When she put it on, she put it all on my scalp and my hair strands. Well when she put it on my scalp it started itching slightly and I thought that was a normal thing because of the chemical. Well after she left it on for an hour she rinsed it out and then it started to burn really badly and subsided after everything was rinsed out. She charged me $275 and I gave her a 10.00 tip. The next day when I went to brush my hair, my scalp was very sensitive and i felt my scalp and it felt like my hair was glued to my scalp. I thought she didn’t get all the keratin out but then when I really felt around my scalp, there actually is scabs all around my head. I called the salon and the guy at the desk practically called me a liar because they didn’t have any issues with the treatment and they’ve been doing this treatment for years. He said he contacted the supplier and the supplier said there hadn’t been any issues with it. He just told me to google the ingredients. Didn’t offer to compensate me in any way and I payed almost $300 for my hair. I called the GK keratin company and the guy on the phone said it’s not supposed to be applied to the scalp for that reason. It’s only supposed to be applied 1/4 inch away from the roots. She literally painted my scalp. GK told me i have to buy a special conditioner for damage and wash my hair with it to reconstruct my hair, which means more money. They gave me a number for another salon which I called and have a consultation on Wednesday. My hair is literally falling out and breaking now and I’m really upset. The salon told me I could potentially sue for that which I have thought about. I’m going to the doctor to get a letter stating I have suffered burns to my scalp and there are scabs. My scalp is very sensitive to touch and now it feels like I’ve had a tight pony tail for over a few days. Needless to say I’m never going back to that salon again and now I have to pay more money to relieve my scalp

I just had my very first haircut with Nathalie and I’m am so grateful I found her through other people’s review of this establishment. I love my cut, her experience and precision are phenomenal. I finally found my home.

Wendy is awesome when it comes to color and cuts! Today was my second time going to her for a cut and full highlights. The first time I went, was soon after things started opening after the lock down. I was nervous about going here since we moved to Florida in Feb 2020 and it takes time to build trust with your hair. My previous hairstylist was now in another state and my roots and ends were really needing attention. Wendy did EXACTLY what I asked for. Today was my second time back and Wendy did another outstanding job. It is really hard to find someone you trust to make it look like you envisioned but Wendy was able to. I recommend asking for Wendy if you are wanting color or a cut. I am walking out feeling completely refreshed. I will be back soon!

This shop has been in the neighborhood for YEARS. I never went until today and let me tell you... one of the best decisions I’ve made!!!!!My hairstylist was Wendy (and now it’s always going to be Wendy). I am picky about how I like my hair and she was very patient with me. She took her time and was able to get it just how I envisioned it to be. Now, my hair looks very healthy, I feel so good, and I have cute bangs!!! Not only was the cut excellent, Wendy made me feel very comfortable too since she is a great conversationalist and is very sweet.Definitely referring my mom and friends there.

This place is awesome. I was a walk in client from out of town when I visited. I was matched up with Bobbee and I cannot express how lucky I feel that I got my haircut from her. I was pretty nervous to get so many inches cut from my hair, but she took the time to suggest a length and explain what she was going to do. She wasnt scissor happy and made sure that she took the time to make me feel confident about my new cut! I highly suggest Bobbee to anyone who has high expectations for a gorgeous haircut.

I really dig this place. Everyone is extremely nice, but I have to give special credit to Kelly and the English gentleman who manages the place! Kelly is very friendly and does a superb job. But anyone there will give you exactly what youre hoping for. Im a pretty simple haircut and they always go above and beyond, I think just to make me feel like my tastes arent TOO simple haha.

I drive an hour to come and see Wendy with Art of Hair. She also does an excellent job both with hair and a beard trim.

Went there to simply dye my hair a little bit lighter and ended up receiving unwanted zebra striped highlights. If you want a good dye job for your hair, do not go here! Also, left with hair dye all over my arms, face, and somehow my legs. My shirt completely covered in dye in the back and it was abnormality painful the whole time. Never returning.

Bridget has been our hairstylist for years. We wont let anyone else touch our hair. Everyone there is very friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. Very reasonable prices too! We even drove from Deltona when we lived there...it was well worth it to us!

Art of Hair is fabulous! Especially my stylist Cindy. She always does exactly what I want and she has been doing my hair for 22 years. My cut and my color is always perfect. She takes care of many of my friends. She is absolutely AMAZING and that is why I drive all the way from Winter Haven to see her. I hate the I 4 traffic but I just can not trust my hair to anyone else. Cyndy is worth the 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive because I know my hair will be perfect. It always is. 22 years without fail. I am not he easiest customer either, I am extremely picky! I have curly hair that is hard to cut just right. Give Cyndy a try and I promise you will fall in love with her too! I do not know what I will do when she retires, hopefully that is a long time from now.

Bridget has been my hair stylist for over 15 years. I have followed her as she moved to different salons because she does great work. She has also been cutting both my sons hair since they were toddlers. I once in a pinch took them to another salon when she was on vacation and they were not happy with the results. There are several salons to choose from but I drive 18 miles to entrust my families hair care needs to Bridget. She is more than a stylist she is a friend.

BEST place in Orlando for hair care in my opinion. I lived in Orlando 5 years and after trying many other places, this became my go-to. Loved all the stylists (though I did end up seeing the same person in the end) Owners are friendly and location is convenient. Check this place out!

Wendy saved my hair! Not only did she bring it back to life after I thought I had processed it to death but she also managed to color correct the deep dark red I had previously and brought my hair up to a beautiful silvery blonde! This was after she did my flawless inverted bob haircut which, in itself, deserves 5 star rating.Wendy and the rest of the team create a relaxed, family like ambiance and they give eachother input on techniques which resulted in the absolute best looking hair Ive ever had in my life. Pictures do not do it justice.If anyone has ever had bad experiences at a salon then you understand the feeling of wanting to cry when you dont get the results you paid for. Many times I have been lied to about the persons ability to do an a-line cut only to be disappointed and the only solution offered is to have the person that didnt have the skills in the first place try to hack away at your hair more and still come up too short, literally.See wendy it will be an awesome experience. I never write reviews but I had to in this case. She deserves the recognition of a job tirelessly and well done !

The staff were extremely friendly. I love how my stylist was personable but the only problem I had was with the dye. It seemed like she used temporary dye because it all washed out a week later. So much time and money wasted. Completely upset!!

Let me just say if I can cut my own hair better than what I walked out with there is a problem. I simple layer cut and trim totally destroyed my hair forcing me to cut off more than I wanted. Being a cosmetologist myself in a new area needing a cut I could not have been more disappointed

Went to cut my sons hair and it went completely wrong. I showed him a picture of the haircut and he did something completly different. My son was very upset and I ended up giving him another hair cut to fix what the stylist did. He did the best he could but it was pretty bad. On the flip side, I bought a machine that day and havent spent $50 a month since for cutting my boys hair. Silver lining
