Booked an appointment at African Braiding Center and the service was great.Started on time, and I got exactly what I wanted to be braided.Ill definitely be going back.

These ladies are awesome! They are very professional and hard working, they get you in and get you out. I was so satisfied I went and got my hair done back to back. The prices are fair and reasonable be it that youre getting it done at a salon. The quality of the braids are neat and non-time consuming which is the icing on the cake for me. I highly recommend the african braiding center. I got my hair done in box braids medium size and I loved it. It lasted a little over 3 months and I got a touch up after 6weeks. Their work is neat and fast. Love you guys, forever a customer!

She was extremely neat and careful with my hair, she really understood how important is was to braid lightly on the edges of my hairline. Whereas other places would completely rip my hair out or leave me with a horrible headache because the person would braid the hair so tight. She also works very fast!! It only took 4 1/2 hours (mind you, I have micro braids, the size is very small and I am so in love with them) I trust her with my hair and there isnt much people I can trust and also cares and knows about hair care. I would recommend her to my friends or anyone that is interested in getting their hair done the right way. She is very proficient and I cant wait to come back again, for my first time it was a great experience. I think I found my hair dresser

Work was neat and fast but, braids fell out instantly.. I’m not bald headed at all and have edges... braids around the edges start falling out like 4 days after... I have two patches of hair missing in the from on edges from them.. never have I ever had that problem.. very clean environment

I got box braids here for the 1st time back in April & Im headed back today to let them get my head right! Highly recommended!

Loved the service and treatment at the African Braiding Center. My stylist was professional and courteous. She completed my whole head in only 6 hours and never took any breaks. My twists are secure but not too tight that my edges are pulling. Great service and I will go again.

The first day I went there and complained about how bad my edges were from my previous salon.... They were so nice and welcoming. They gave me best advice and made my braids in such a way that it started growing really fast now. I would totally recommend this store to anyone because they listen and do exactly what you want.

Im sorry, but my braids fell out too after about a week. They were done super fast. I wont be coming back. The owner is nice, but for the prices the work is poor.

When Latha(original owner) was there, awesome service and phenomenal work! New staff is rude, even refused to re-due another clients hair after doing a style that wasnt requested! Customer for years to now they are the last people I would recommend!

You must secure the appointment with a $50 appointment. Kinda strange... but my hair came out amazing and she told me how to maintain them... will DEFINITELY go back.

I dont recommend this shop. Its only been two weeks, and my hair is frizzed. No plans on ever going again! I should have done my own hair!!!Fatu, with all due respect I deviated away from the more detailed factual disappointing details of my experience. My didnt just start frizzing up. Its been this way for weeks now. As I said in my text, I chose to take the high road, and leave well enough alone. But I will say, Customer Service can certainly be improved...

I would recommend you come here if you need your hair braided or twisted. Came for my appointment at 10 and was out at 3. For the price I was very satisfied wit my new twists!

Terrrrible customer service, would give no stars if I could. I was hung up on twice when trying to book an appointment or when I had additional questions about the services. The woman on the other end of the line was extremely rude and unwelcoming, I considered this as a prelude to the service that I would be experiencing so I cancelled the appointment--to which I was promptly hung up on. Not sure what kind of damage control theyll do underneath this post, but for a black owned business I was extremely disappointed in its customer service. Note to the owners: hire people that represent your brand well and not poorly, this is how you lose customers. A better alternative to booking with African Braiding Center is finding a local UCF student that braids hair.

I love getting my hair done here. The work is excellent . braids ,twist or cornrows , I always leave satisfied. Fatou is talented and very friendly.highly recommended

Fatu is the best. Finished a full head on my daughters hair in 4 hours. Fatu is very professional and very fast. I highly recommend her. Update: Fatu did my daughters hair today (6/20) and once again it is BEAUTIFUL. She is very professional and fast! We will be back!

Great Place for ethnic hair design

This place is totally unprofessional. Made an appointment well in advance just for them to look confused when I walked in on time. They hardly greeted me, then sounded confused when I said I was here for my appointment. One lady told me, oh I sent you a text. Well I didnt get a text because she had the wrong phone number for me. The number she had was completely different from mine by the way. She knew the appointment time and my name and desired style, but not the right #. So she tells me it would another 2 hours before she could start me, due to issues with her other client. 2 hours!?!?! So unprofessional. I will never return.Obviously your system isnt working if you had a completely different number saved for me. You clearly got me mixed up because the number you showed me was incorrect. If I got a text I wouldnt have drove all the way over there. Also if you have to tell someone their appointment is delayed 3 hours then you should be a little more apologetic and see what you can do to save a customer.

I usually get my hair done here and it’s great but this last time my braids are falling out in 3 days... What’s up with that?????

Unprofessional. Showed up to get my hair braided and was told the lady forgot about my appt. There was another lady waiting and she was also upset because her stylist was doing someone else hair when she arrived. They didnt seem to care at all. I was told to come back later. I wasted a 45 minute drive.

With this place you have to clear on what you want to have done. If you like your braids full please stress that to them cause not they will be thin. Braids/Twist start at 180 and up. I wasnt impress with my hair as I was when I had previous had it done there some years by a different braider. Which the braider was AWESOME by the way she has now moved to another state. The atmosphere is none. Sorry the place needs to be updated. The braiders talk among themselves (in a different language). I am disappoint in my visit here it use to be such an awesome place for braids.

They are so good really they are. As everyday passes my braids look better and better. I get so many compliments on my braids that I truly sometimes get tired of saying thank you. I think even some are tired of saying how good they look that someone told me your braids look so good but they always do though. Women of all nationalities stare and say wow your hair look so good.I hve bn going to African Braiding Center now consistently for over 4 years and not even once hve I ever been disappointed. You really get what you pay for here. My hair is good for over 3 months and the prices are just unbelievable for the work that they do. Micros done in about 5 hours....... All I can say is I love you all.Dont ever change and definitely dont ever stop braiding yall sho nuff have the majic touch.
