Have never actually been there, because they are, uh, Downtown and Im pretty far Uptown. But Ive been a customer for the last four years or so and theyve never disappointed. Everything Ive ever needed they messergered to me by the next day, occasionally same day, at no charge.

Downtown pharmacy has the rudest cashier with a nasty attitude. The pharmasicts is such a careless person who doesnt take his job seriously! He would say hold on and leave me to the pick-up station.At least the computer guy new how answer my questions,he seems to be the reason why the place is running. Still I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!

(This is not regarding pharmacy service, but the store service) Three stars simply because the afternoon cashier is absolutely miserable and rude. I frequent this location very often as I work in the neighborhood. As with any other establishment, my thoughts are always if you’re not interested in being some what friendly to customers, you should not be in customer service. Every single day she has a nasty attitude, today she snatched lotto tickets out my hand ( scratching me in the process without apology) because i mistakenly grabbed them off the counter thinking she had scanned them. In the past, I stopped spending my money here for over a year because of her attitude and a bad customer service experience i had, in which i called and spoke to the manager about her. A lot of my co-workers frequent this spot because it’s convenient and reasonable , however we all have the same complaint with her attitude towards paying customers and quite frankly I’m tired of supporting an establishment who doesn’t value those who spend their money there.

Excellent service. I needed just a few needle for my insulin pen, and while other big company pharmacies couldnt sell me just a few, and without prescription they couldnt sell me a whole packet either. But downtown pharmacy sold me just the 5 I needed without any problem. Highly recomended.

I wouldnt fill my prescriptions anywhere else! I fill both mine and my uncles prescriptions here, theyre fast and efficient, and the pharmacists are always happy to answer questions about our medicines. And the staff is always happy to help you locate items in the store. Plus they have a photostat machine and a notary and the prices are low, and you get 10% off most items with their discount card.

Because of chronic illness I’ve been to a huge number of pharmacies and Downtown Pharmacy is absolutely the best. They fill complex prescriptions quickly and efficiently. If they don’t have the medication they’ll order it so you have it next day. Now that CVS and Walgreens have the power to refuse to fill prescriptions they don’t believe you should be taking, stores like Downtown Pharmacy are critically important to the chronically ill. Downtown Pharmacy still believes in the doctor / patient relationship and they don’t get involved in second guessing the treatment plan between you and your doctor. I highly recommend Downtown pharmacy for complex prescriptions and also medical equipment. They know different insurance plans and will work with you to get the prescriptions at the best price and they check for coupons.

I had a very expensive compound made by this pharmacy that was made incorrectly and unfortunately I couldnt get my cat to take it. I called the pharmacist who was not helpful at all. He offered to try to make it correctly at an additional cost. If you need medication compounded do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
