Great spot to support local pharmacies

I started coming here because the big chains (Duane Reade, Rite Aid) did not carry what I needed. Have been very happy here. Staff is very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I give them credit too for patience and people skills, because they deal with many rude and impatient customers (I get to watch the interactions).They are available by phone, and take most insurances as well as credit cards. Sometimes they are very busy, so make sure to allow them enough time to fill your prescription.

Dont waste your time with this pharmacy.1. No communication if there is an issue with your prescription.2. If you have an FSA/HSA card, they dont accept them3. The owner/pharmacy manager is rude and instead of admitting fault, yells at the patient.In detail: I ordered a prescription to be delivered. The pharmacy was unable to pull my insurance (pharmacies have the ability to automatically pull insurance information) and instead of calling ne to let mdme know, just didnt bother to fill the prescription.When they finally got the insurance sorted, I went in and they told me they dont accept my HSA card for payment.Instead of apologizing, the owner/pharmacy manager yelled at me.. even when I walked away and was at the door, she still kept yelling.I hear there is a new pharmacy opening up on 181st Street. Hopefully, its better than this one.

My closest pharmacy that takes my moms insurance. Other big chains dont. Good peeps.

Absolutely and by far the most friendly, cooperative, professional and cost effective pharmacy in Hudson and Washington Heights. Kudos to the entire staff.
