No appointments for over 48 hours! City MD is across the street, just go their, it’s always been faster anyway!
I went in for a Whooping Cough vaccineThere was no line, no wait,Sign-in was quick and easy and the facility was immaculateThe ANP was lovely and put me at ease (since I dont like shots)I never felt it; and the entire visit was accomplished in 15 minutesYou cant beat that!
The nurse practitioner at CVS MinuteClinic (Tina) was astoundingly awful, and incredibly rude and unprofessional. I would not go back here, and wouldn’t recommend anyone else do so, either, unless they want to be treated poorly by their medical “professional.” After I left this place, I went to CityMD a block away on 57 between 8th and 9th where they were substantially more professional and I was in and out in 15 minutes. Go here at your own risk...
Having tripped and bruised my finger bad on the train station stairs, I was paranoid as to if I would acquire Tetanus from the wound. In my hysterical search for a location where I could find a Td shot, I decided to look at the one stop shop for a well reviewed location, Yelp of course. And like rays down from heaven, I found the Minute Clinic. I work a few blocks away so I decided to do it during my lunch break. It is on the 2nd floor of the CVS store there. As you get there you are greeted by a computer on which you put in all your info. It took about a minute doing that and I was seated at the waiting area for another minute. The practitioner there was Laura at the time and she was the best! Nothing like a warm smile and few words of encouragement for a frantic possibly tetanus affected soul you know? She was quick and friendly at the same time. I was in an out in less than 10 minutes. I was really impressed! They should really have more of these in the city. Apparently during the time I am writing this, this is the only location in Manhattan. I am definitely going back if theres an emergency.Edit: My vial of Td shot has apparently given me superpowers: I am able to climb up walls and ceilings with ease. I am thinking of designing a tight suit and a cape soon, if this side effect lasts.
